It feels so scary getting old.
I feel like a tiny spec of dust trying to make it into the great big world battling a shit ton of expectations, cutthroat competition, never-ending capitalism, the evil of consumerism and unlearning everything that I've ever learned because I can't live the way I want to but program myself to fit in this society. But the fact that, the world didn't end when I was 13 nor when I was 16 or 18 or 20. I used to know this person who would know exactly what to say to alter my brain chemistry but he's not here anymore so I'm left with figuring out stuff on my own which is fine, but so freaking daunting. I'm so thankful for the friends I've made in the last three years of college, without them I would have always feared failure and rejection. Forcing me to reach my potential and encouraging me to apply for jobs and shit because they have more faith in me than I do. Learning that you're going to be let down over and over again but the loop terminates at one point and you know that it wasn't so terrible either, I just had to keep trying. So, trying it is.
#nobody asked me to be ambitious but i once was and that's enough#was looking at nvidia's job openings for freshers and it's overwhelming lmao but alright#applying to big companies is fucking scary bhaiii pls#my brain is so against the whole process of sitting for technical rounds and interviews but then i won't have any regrets ab it later#idk if this post makes any sense to anyone#dni#ribs by lorde

How to Write a Fresher CV for a Career Change

Changing careers as a fresher can be challenging, but the right CV can help you stand out. Whether you are transitioning from one field to another or exploring a completely new industry, crafting a compelling CV is essential. Using an online CV maker or Interview Axis can simplify the process and ensure a professional layout. This guide will walk you through creating a CV for freshers that highlights your transferable skills, achievements, and potential.
1. Choose the Right CV Format
Since you may not have direct experience in the new field, opting for a functional or combination CV format for job applications is the best approach. These formats focus on your skills and strengths rather than work history.
Functional CV: Emphasizes skills and qualifications over work experience.
Combination CV: Blends skills with a concise work experience section.
Using a CV maker or Interview Axis can help you format your document efficiently, ensuring it looks professional and ATS-friendly.
2. Craft a Strong Career Objective
Your career objective should clearly state your intent to transition into a new field and showcase your enthusiasm. Make it concise, compelling, and aligned with the industry you are entering.
Example: "Motivated and adaptable professional with a background in [previous field] seeking to transition into [new field]. Passionate about [industry-specific skill] and eager to leverage transferable skills in [new role]."
3. Highlight Transferable Skills
Even if you lack direct experience, you likely have relevant transferable skills from education, internships, or previous roles. Identify skills that align with the new industry.
Examples of Transferable Skills:
✅ Communication and teamwork ✅ Analytical thinking and problem-solving ✅ Project management ✅ Digital skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM software) ✅ Leadership and adaptability
An online CV maker or Interview Axis can help structure this section effectively to enhance readability.
4. Showcase Relevant Education and Certifications
Your academic background and additional certifications can enhance your credibility. If your degree is unrelated to the new field, emphasize coursework or projects that demonstrate relevant skills.
Example: 📌 Bachelor’s Degree in [Field] [University Name] | [Year]
Relevant Coursework: ✔ [Course 1 related to new career] ✔ [Course 2 related to new career]
Certifications: 🎓 [Relevant certification] (e.g., Google Analytics, PMP, Digital Marketing, etc.) 🎓 [Industry-related online courses from Coursera, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning]
Using an online CV maker can help you format these details professionally.
5. Include Hands-on Experience (Internships, Freelance, Projects)
If you have any practical experience related to your new career, highlight it. This could be an internship, freelancing, personal projects, or volunteer work.
Example: 🔹 Freelance Digital Marketer (2024 - Present) ✔ Managed social media campaigns and created engaging content. ✔ Improved website traffic by 30% through SEO and keyword optimization. ✔ Designed email marketing campaigns with a 20% open rate.
6. Tailor Your Work Experience Section
If you have previous jobs in a different field, emphasize responsibilities that align with your new career.
Example: 🔹 Customer Support Associate | ABC Company | 2023 - 2024 ✔ Developed strong communication skills by handling customer queries. ✔ Managed CRM tools and resolved technical issues efficiently. ✔ Collaborated with teams to improve client satisfaction.
7. Add a Projects Section
If you lack work experience in the new field, personal or academic projects can demonstrate your abilities.
Example: 📌 Marketing Campaign for XYZ Startup ✔ Designed a social media strategy that increased engagement by 40%. ✔ Created content for blogs, social media, and newsletters.
8. Optimize Your CV with Keywords
For SEO-friendly optimization, use industry-specific keywords in your CV. Recruiters often use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to filter CVs based on keywords.
Example Keywords:
📌 Career transition 📌 Transferable skills 📌 Entry-level [new field] professional 📌 Industry-relevant certifications 📌 [Job role-specific keywords like “data analyst,” “marketing executive,” etc.]
Using a CV maker or Interview Axis ensures your resume is well-optimized and formatted correctly.
9. Keep It Concise and Well-Formatted
✔ Use a clean and professional layout (avoid excessive graphics or colors). ✔ Keep your CV one page long (unless you have extensive relevant experience). ✔ Use bullet points for easy readability. ✔ Consider using an online CV maker to structure your CV efficiently.
10. End with a Strong Cover Letter
A well-written cover letter can further explain your career change, passion, and readiness for the new role. Tailor it to the specific company and role. Using a CV maker to generate a professional cover letter can give you an edge over other applicants.

Profile Summary for Resume for Freshers: A Complete Guide with Examples

A profile summary for resume for freshers is a short yet impactful section that helps job seekers make a strong first impression. Since freshers have little to no work experience, a well-written profile summary can highlight their skills, strengths, and career aspirations, increasing their chances of landing their first job.
In this article, we’ll discuss the importance of a profile summary for resume for freshers, how to write one, and provide best examples for different industries.
________________________________________
What is a Profile Summary in a Resume?
A profile summary is a brief introduction at the top of a resume that showcases a candidate’s educational background, key skills, career goals, and relevant projects or internships.
For freshers, this section acts as a mini personal statement that tells recruiters why they should hire them. It’s an essential part of a resume because recruiters often scan resumes within seconds, and a strong profile summary can grab their attention quickly.
________________________________________
Why is a Profile Summary Important for Freshers?
Many freshers struggle to get noticed because they lack professional experience. However, a well-written profile summary for resume for freshers can:
✅ Highlight key strengths despite a lack of experience
✅ Improve visibility in applicant tracking systems (ATS)
✅ Showcase skills and relevant training
✅ Make the resume more engaging to recruiters
Since freshers rely on their education, skills, internships, and projects, a profile summary helps create a powerful first impression.
________________________________________
How to Write a Profile Summary for Resume for Freshers?
Follow these simple steps to create a winning profile summary:
1. Start with Your Educational Background
Since freshers don’t have much work experience, mention your highest qualification and university. If you have a strong academic record, include that as well.
🔹 Example:
"Recent B.Tech Computer Science graduate from XYZ University with a keen interest in software development and artificial intelligence."
2. Highlight Your Key Skills
Mention your most relevant skills based on the job role. These can be technical skills, soft skills, or industry-specific knowledge.
🔹 Example:
"Proficient in Python, Java, and SQL, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills."
3. Mention Internships, Projects, or Certifications
If you have completed internships, academic projects, freelancing work, or online certifications, highlight them to demonstrate hands-on experience.
🔹 Example:
"Completed an internship at ABC Technologies, where I contributed to a machine learning model for customer analytics."
4. Add Soft Skills
Employers look for candidates who are not just technically skilled but also have strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Example:
"Strong communication and teamwork skills with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth."
5. Keep It Short and Impactful
A profile summary should be around 2-4 sentences and focus only on the most important details.
________________________________________
Best Profile Summary Examples for Resume for Freshers
1. IT & Software Engineer Fresher
"Motivated and detail-oriented Computer Science graduate with strong programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL. Completed multiple academic projects on machine learning and web development. Passionate about coding, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative tech environment."
2. Digital Marketing Fresher
"Creative and results-driven Marketing graduate with expertise in social media marketing, content creation, and SEO. Completed an internship at XYZ Digital Agency, where I developed content strategies that improved website traffic. Eager to apply digital marketing skills to drive brand growth."
3. Finance & Accounting Fresher

4. Mechanical Engineer Fresher

✔ Be concise – Keep it short and direct (around 3-4 sentences).
✔ Showcase relevant skills – Focus on technical and soft skills that match the job role.
