HOW THE ENGLAND FOOTBALL TEAM WENT FROM CHOCKERS TO CHALLENGERS IN 5 YEARS
A few years back, the English football team was considered a joke by many of the fans and the pundits. This occurred due to the disastrous performance of the team, not just in Internal fixtures, but in the major tournaments as well. The standard and the quality of English football had been deteriorating since the start of the century. Since 2000, there have been several low points in English football, with each being lower than the last one like not qualifying for the Euros in 2008, early elimination in the 2010 world cup and the 2014 world cup, just to name a few. In the latter, they scored just two goals, secured a solitary point in 3 games, and got knocked out in the group stages. But the moment when England hit rock bottom was in the 2016 Euro tournament.
When it came to the qualifiers of the 2016 Euro’s, there was optimism among the fans. This was due to their performance in the Qualifiers where they topped their group by winning all 10 games, scoring 28 goals,  and only conceding 3. Another reason why the qualifiers was a big plus for England was because of the introduction of fresh faces such as Danny Drinkwater, Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and the performances of John Stones, Danny Rose and Keiran Trippier in defense which resulted in England conceding only 3 goals in 10 games in the qualification stages.
But their performance in Euro 2016 of one of their worst in their entire tournament history. The finished second in a group consisting of Wales, Russia, and Slovakia, three teams who England should have beaten comfortably on paper. Instead, they drew to Russia, just got past Wales and drew 0-0 to Slovakia. There was optimism about England reaching the quarter finals as they had to face Iceland in the round of 16. But their tournament got worse as they lost 2-1 and crashed out of the Euro’s. The backlash from this tournament was heavy as several players such Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane were criticized for their poor performance and Roy Hodgson had resigned after a 4-year reign.
There were several theories formed by fans and pundits as to the reason for the poor performance of England in major tournaments. The problems were made clear from their Euro 2016 debacle. Many people felt that the team selection was wrong and people who were in the team did not deserve their place in the squad. Players such as Danny Drinkwater was left out of the Euro squad after a good performance in the league leading to a title win for Leicester city. The inclusion of Jack Wilshere had not gone down well amongst the fans either as he spent 8 months of the 2015/16 on the sidelines with an injury and had played only 141 minutes in the entire season. England had appointed Sam Allardyce as the new England manager, but he was sacked after one game after he was charged with corruption.
England appointed Gareth Southgate as their caretaker manager, following the sacking of Sam Allardyce and was made the permanent manager on 15th November 2016. This did not make England fans optimistic. The reason was because he had previously managed Middlesbrough who got relegated and he was the coach of the England under 21 team who had not been performing well under him.
Under him, they had performed well in the World cup 2018 qualifiers finishing toppers of their group with 8 wins and 2 draws out of 10 games and conceding only 3 goals. The pundits and fans were not excited about their chances in the world cup.
In the tournament, they won all 2 out 3 group games, losing to Belgium 1-0. They won in the round of 16 against Columbia in the penalty shootout and won the quarter finals against Sweden. When it came to the semifinals, England got the lead in the 5th minute through Kieran Trippier but eventually lost 2-1 to Croatia who went on to lose in the finals to France. England finished the campaign in 4th place after they lost their 3rd place playoff game against Belgium 2-0. Despite losing in the semifinal, players like Harry Kane, Kieran Trippier and Jordan Pickford drew a lot of praise for their performance in the tournament with Harry Kane winning the golden boot.
Following this their next stage of preparation was for the 2020 Euro. In the qualifiers, they had a strong performance, topping the group with 7 wins out of 8, conceding only six goals but scoring 37 goals. Fans and pundits lauded Gareth Southgate for giving chances to players who did not just play for a top six club. Players like Declan Rice, Kalvin Phillips and Jack Grealish, Dominic Calvert Lewin and Conor Coady were given their chance to shine in the qualifiers. Southgate also gave chances to youngsters such as Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho were given chances in the tournament.
Going into the tournament they had an squad with an average age of a little over 25. They had a mix of experience and talented youngsters. They topped their group in Euro, won in the round of 16 against Germany, brushed aside Ukraine 4-0 in the Quarter finals, won 2-1 against Denmark in extra time through a Harry Kane goal in the 104th minute. In the final against Italy, they went ahead inside two minutes through Luke Shaw but eventually conceded from a corner which was scored by Leonardo Bonucci. The game eventually went into penalties. Pickford had made two saves in the shootout, but Italy cliched the final after misses from Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka.
England finished the tournament as runners up, but there was a lot of appreciation from the fans and the pundits for the performance of the manager and team players, especially the youngsters. They were a laughing stock in the 2016 Euro and nearly won the 2020 Euro.
There has been steady progress that has been taking place in English football and Gareth Southgate deserves a lot of the credit for much tough decisions and giving chances to player to shine. The Euros are taking place in Germany this year and Gareth Southgate has a chance to take the England team one step further and guide them to the title before leaving his job as England Coach. England go into this tournament with a little bit of negativity, considering their performances against the big teams in the last 2 years, but this tournament is a chance for them to but these negative talks to rest.

GET IT, GET IT: THE 25 DOPEST BASS SONGS
By Stereo Williams
Published Wed, April 6, 2022 at 5:00 PM EDT
Bass music is one of the building blocks of southern Hip-Hop and one of Hip-Hop's most distinct sounds and styles. It populated dancefloors across the South as far back as the mid-1980s, with roots in both the clashing electro of Mantronix and the futuristic bombast of the Soulsonic Force. With pioneers like Luther "Luke" Campbell and DJ Magic Mike at the forefront, it became a huge commercial force in the 1990s, before being supplanted by coming styles like crunk.
It's always guaranteed to get everybody sweatin' and the fastest way to turn the party up. So we picked 25 of the greatest bass songs. Let the booty-poppin' commence...
#26
"SHORTY SWING MY WAY" - K.P. & ENVYI [BONUS SONG]
In late 1997, this track was one of the most inescapable club songs of the era. Neither K.P. nor Envyi saw much success after this Top Ten hit, but they have one of the most indelible bass/R&B crossover hits in the genre.
#25
"SALLY (THAT GIRL)" - GUCCI CREW II
This group out of Miami had already recorded an album when this horny story rap started blowing up on regional radio. Produced by group member Disco Rick, the goofy-but-infectious single became a hit around the South and their album So Fresh, So Def, So Stupid one of the more successful follow-ups to 2 Live Crew's breakthrough.
#24
"BOOM! I GOT YOUR BOYFRIEND" - MC LUSCIOUS
Bass music had no shortage of songs about big butts and boobs, so it was a welcome change when MC Luscious decided to brag about bagging sexy guys. The Miami native's single caught fire on radio and she became a mainstay of the bass scene throughout the 1990s.
#23
"THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL" - RAHEEM THE DREAM
Bass music and R&B made for some truly great musical cross-pollination, and very few could claim to be better at it than Raheem The Dream. The Atlanta native was a pioneer of A-T-L Hip-Hop and helped launch the career of Terius "The-Dream" Nash with this seductive club track.

#22
"WHATZ UP, WHATZ UP" - PLAYA PONCHO
As southern Hip-Hop saw suddenly surging commercial appeal in the mid-1990s, Atlanta's most visible label released a compilation dedicated to the sound the Dirty South was forged in. And one of the standout tracks was this Bankhead Bounce-inducing banger from Playa Poncho—co-produced by L.A. Sno of Duice (more on them in a sec.)
#21
"DUNKIE BUTT" - 12 GAUGE
It sounded like the theme song for a dance craze that never quite happened, but that's how popular this single was in spring 1993. "Ridin' that dunkie" might have never become a thing (or did it, are we sure it didn't?), but this song from ATL native 12 Gauge captures an era when bass songs were all over the radio.
#20
"DA' DIP" - FREAK NASTY
Speaking of bass songs that crossed over majorly, this club anthem was seemingly everywhere in 1997. It became a fixture at sporting events, at house parties, at bar mitzvahs, and everywhere in-between; but the single from Atlanta star Freak Nasty failed to chart when it was initially released the year prior. Proof that steady wins the race, it eventually peaked on Billboard's Top 20.
#19
"2 MUCH BOOTY" - SOUNDMASTER T
It works as a booty-shaking an anthem and as an ode to body-positivity—if you wanna hear it that way. Soundmaster T gave the world a great dedication to junk in ya trunk, one that stood out even in a genre known for a fixation with asses. And it's great workout music.
#18
"BABY BABY" - KILO ALI
Kilo's 2nd act happened as bass music was going from neighborhood parties to the pop charts. When Ali teamed up with Atlanta production legends Organized Noize, the results were his best album and one of the most inspired releases from the latter days of bass. This is a scorcher that straddles the line between R&B and bass, with Kilo's raps gliding over the slinky beat.
#17
"SCRUB DA GROUND" - SPLACK PACK
Coming straight out of Palm Beach, Fla. by way of Atlanta, this trio scored a hit with this ode to booty-dropping. It became one of the biggest dancefloor jams of 1994 and was an important link between early Miami bass and an emerging commercial wave that Splack Pack helped fuel.
#16
"WHOOT! THERE IT IS" - 95 SOUTH
Was there another, technically more popular version of this song with a slightly different spelling? Why yes—yes, there was. But (we mean no disrespect to Tag Team) if you know, you know that 95 South gave us the definitive version of this catchphrase-driven hit. But hey, if you prefer the other one, there's nothing wrong with it.
#15
"DICKEY RIDE" - SOUTHERN PLAYAS
Its obnoxious and undeniably fun, one of the most energetic tracks from the golden age of bass. It may not be the smartest song to have on your wedding reception DJ request list, but there aren't many guaranteed to work up a sweat on the floor like this one.
#14
"DAZZEY DUKS" - DUICE
This trio from Augusta, GA, struck gold with their very first single. This smash was obviously inspired by the leggy brunette of Dukes Of Hazzard fame (obvious to anyone born before 1985, that is), and the skimpy shorts she was known for rocking on the show. It inspired a fashion trend and odd spellings—in one fell swoop.
#13
"HOES-N-DA-HOUSE" - DJ UNCLE AL
The late legendary DJ Uncle Al was all about throwing hype parties to keep the community jamming and safe. This is his most indelible tune, one that became a mainstay at parties and in clubs across the South in the 1990s. It's forever a classic.
#12
"POP THAT COOCHIE" - 2 LIVE CREW
They were probably the reason your parents hated rap music. The most notorious act to emerge from the Miami bass scene, 2 Live Crew had no shortage of raunchy anthems; and of course, "Me So Horny" is the most well-known. But this is the best example of everything that made them infamous: it's filthy, it's catchy, and it makes you wanna hit the floor.
#11
"SHAKE IT" - MC SHY-D
The man who put Atlanta rap on the national map, MC Shy-D also gave the A one of it's great 80s skater rink anthems. The Bronx transplant with the high voice set the stage for an Atlanta music surge, and this is still a quick way to get a party started in GA.
#10
"COCAINE" - KILO ALI
Kilo was rapping about the trap before there was a name for it. The Atlanta rap legend was always a supreme storyteller with a witty perspective; and both are showcased on this inspired look at the crack epidemic. Proof that bass songs could be as topical as they were body-moving.
#9
"CAN'T STOP NO PLAYER" - DA ORGANIZATION
With this collective's lone album arriving near the end of the heyday of bass music, it's easy to ignore how forward-pointing this Isleys-sampling classic single truly was. With one foot in classic bass sounds and another seeming to hearken to what was coming next, it's still one of the best songs from a genre's latter years.
#8
"IT'S MY CADILLAC (GOT THAT BASS)" - MC NAS-D AND DJ FREAKY FRED
There's just something about this regional hit from MC Nas-D and DJ Freaky Fred that perfectly captures an era. This is a quintessential bass song, and it stayed on DJ rotations for years throughout the South and beyond.
#7
"TOOTSEE ROLL" - 69 BOYZ
In a genre known for getting the the floor hyped, the 69 Boyz still somehow felt like the kings of the party. The Boyz hailed from Florida, but they'd come out of Jacksonville and Orlando, nonetheless, they carved a major niche with spring break-friendly bass anthems. And this was the biggest. Who cares if "Sweet as gold" doesn't really make sense? Besides, any song that inspires a dance named after a piece of candy is a damn good song.
#6
"SCARRED" - LUKE FEAT. VERB AND TRICK DADDY
Who has more classics than Uncle Luke? In 1996, the legend made it clear that he wasn't going anywhere with this automatic dancefloor filler. It features a high-powered verse from Verb and, of course, introduced the world to none other than Trick Daddy Dollar$.
#5
"DROP THAT BASS (PT. 2)" - DJ MAGIC MIKE
One of the founding fathers of Miami bass and a seminal figure in Florida Hip-Hop, Michael Hampton helped kickstart a movement. Always a versatile DJ and producer, Mike scored a regional smash with this trunk-rattling anthem that musically transported the Soulsonic Force to the Sunshine State.
#4
"THAT'S RIGHT" - DJ TAZ W/RAHEEM THE DREAM
An inspired flip of Ready For the World's 80s quiet storm fixture "Tonight" is the foundation for this bass classic. Taz's breakout hit happened just as bass music's commercial height was beginning to wane, but it crossed over to pop and R&B audiences thanks to a popular video—and thanks to the fact that it's catchy as hell.
#3
"MY BOO" - GHOST TOWN DJS
As we mentioned, bass beats and R&B vocals could be musical magic; and there was never a better example than this hit from summer 1996. Ghost Town DJ's smash single was one of the most inescapable songs of that year—and it still evokes the spirit of cruising the Dirty South during the hot months.
#2
"SHAKE WHAT YA MAMA GAVE YA" - POISON CLAN
Yes, there are other versions. But they all pale in comparison to the raunchy original.  The inimitable J.T. Money really came into his own after the departure of Debonaire following Poison Clan's debut, and the result was a harder, meaner record. It also yielded this—one of the most foul-mouthed bass classics of all time.
#1
"I WANNA ROCK (DOO DOO BROWN)" - LUKE
It's been sampled. It's been remixed. It's been quoted. If someone—anyone—ever asks you: "What the hell is bass music?," this is the song you should play for them. It's a bootyshake classic, a strip club anthem, the kind of song that will make your Methodist grandmother git down looooow. Nobody ever did it better than Luke and this is the legendary Mr. Campbell at his nastiest and most fun. The bass song that's impossible to hate. Somebody somewhere is poppin' that thang to this track right now.

Chelsea Set Plans To Sell Six First Team Stars After Huge Summer Spending
Chelsea are reportedly accelerating plans to move on several players before the end of the summer transfer window.
The Blues have spent the most money in the Premier League this transfer window. A deal for Romeo Lavia from Southampton is anticipated to follow the £115 million acquisition of Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Hove Albion.
However, Chelsea’s buying binge is expected to continue with the triggering of Michael Olise’s £35 million release clause. Making him the club’s 25th acquisition in under a year.
Tumblr media
The ownership group of Chelsea have nearly spent £1 billion on new players. Chelsea have been reducing Mauricio Pochettino’s squad while also adding fresh players for the newly appointed manager.According to the Evening Standard via the Daily Star, Chelsea are attempting to ‘accelerate’ their plans to sell six players before the deadline of September 1. Conor Gallagher is one player who may be leaving the club, according to the reports.
The signing of Caicedo and competition from Lavia for a position in midfield could force the England international, who is still up for transfer, out the door.
Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech, and Callum Hudson-Odoi are three other players who have no place in Pochettino’s plans for the 2023/24 season. All three are reportedly close to leaving the club. Trevoh Chalobah and Ian Maatsen are two other players that Chelsea wish to sell.
With Raheem Sterling, Mykhaylo Mudryk, and Noni Madueke in the mix, Chelsea’s wide spots will experience heightened competition with Olise’s impending arrival.
Olise, a player for France’s under-21 national team, is anticipated to be the London club’s final acquisition of the summer transfer season. https://www.completesports.com/chelsea-set-plans-to-sell-six-first-team-stars-after-huge-summer-spending/

The UEFA Nations League Final Four: Who Will Reign Supreme in Europe's Hottest New Tournament?
Tumblr media
The UEFA Nations League Final Four: Who Will Reign Supreme in Europe's Hottest New Tournament? The UEFA Nations League Final Four: Who Will Reign Supreme in Europe's Hottest New Tournament? The UEFA Nations League is a relatively new tournament, introduced in 2018 to replace international friendly matches. The concept behind the tournament is to pit national teams against each other in a competitive and meaningful setting, while also providing an alternative route to Euro 2020 qualification. The final four of the tournament is now upon us, with four of Europe's top teams battling it out for supremacy. Here's a closer look at the four teams, their strengths and weaknesses, and their chances of taking home the Nations League trophy. The Netherlands The Netherlands is back, and they're looking better than ever. After failing to qualify for the last two major tournaments, the Dutch have bounced back in style under the leadership of Ronald Koeman. They topped their Nations League group with a game to spare, including a 3-0 demolition of Germany. The team boasts a strong and dynamic midfield, led by Frenkie de Jong, while the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Matthijs de Ligt provide a solid backbone in defense. They'll be buoyed by their stunning comeback against Germany in the group stage, when they came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Portugal Fresh from their triumph at Euro 2016, Portugal is another team that's gotten better with age. They've made the final four of the Nations League without their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, who's taken a leave of absence from international duty. In his absence, the team has drawn on the experience of João Moutinho, William Carvalho, and Bernardo Silva. Their star man up front is André Silva, who's scored eight goals in his last nine games for the national team. Portugal will be looking to capitalize on the home advantage and secure their first-ever Nations League trophy. England England has been on a roll since their disappointing showing at the World Cup last year. They topped their Nations League group with a game to spare, thanks to a 3-2 win over Spain in Seville. The team has undergone a transformation in recent months under the guidance of Gareth Southgate, who's given youth a chance and provided a clear style of play. Their attacking trio of Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, and Jadon Sancho is one of the most potent in Europe, while their midfield options of Jordan Henderson, Dele Alli, and Ross Barkley provide plenty of balance. England will be looking to avenge their World Cup semi-final defeat to Croatia and land their first major trophy since 1966. Switzerland Switzerland is the dark horse of the tournament, but they're not to be underestimated. They topped a group containing World Cup semi-finalists Belgium, beating them 5-2 in the process. The team is led by Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri, two Premier League stars who have plenty of experience playing at the highest level. They're ably supported by the likes of Haris Seferović and Steven Zuber, who provide plenty of attacking threat. Switzerland will be looking to make history by reaching their first-ever major final. Conclusion The Nations League final four promises to be an action-packed affair, with four of Europe's top teams battling it out for glory. The Netherlands, Portugal, England, and Switzerland all have their strengths and weaknesses, and it'll come down to which team can perform on the day. The tournament has exceeded expectations in its inaugural season, providing fans with memorable moments and plenty of drama. We can't wait to see who will come out on top. FAQs - What is the UEFA Nations League? The UEFA Nations League is a new biennial international football competition established by UEFA in 2018. - What is the concept behind the tournament? How Graham Potter reacted to fresh Chelsea injury blows
Graham Potter has lamented Chelsea’s current injury woes after Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic were forced off with ailments in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City. Sterling had to be taken off inside the opening five minutes of the game, injurying himself while attempting a backheel, while Pulisic was forced off after hurting his knee blocking a shot on goal. Do you know what's a GREAT relief?
MAKING A GREAT SHIT (my sis knows what I'm talking about)
Do you know what is a GREATER relief?
FARTS
Well that's just me. Especially when I have those griping bowel tying gas. Something I used to (I don't seem to have such bad ones anymore in the past 2 years) have in a VERY incapacitating way. I mean SOmetimes I couldn't MOVE. I have to bending myself in such STRANGE way to then FINALLY:
FART
Ok, ya'll might want to end reading now & wondering WHAT IS GOING ON?
So I watched this on Netflix:
Why?
I like knowledge, documentaries and curious.
You see, in it apparently a Dictator or as they call them, a TYRANT made up stories to basically depict himself as superhuman or divine or just simply someone who is so amazing he doesn't poo. He has NO need to go to the bathroom.
Tumblr media
Anyway, I am using my father's Netflix & his account (I removed mine from and it's on MY TV so I do NOT care) and saw it as a recommendation. Made me wonder if the meetings at Vale Royal or King's House are dubbing me a TYRANT.
Especially now that I'm all:
"I'M QUEEN...I WILL BE QUEEN OF COUNTRIES...I'M ABOVE THE LAW...I WILL KILL RAHEEM VIOLENTLY if he fucks up ONCE...I WILL KILL ANYONE MYSELF WHO FUCKS WITH ME, MY FAMILY & MY BUSINESSES."
Tumblr media
Well I guess based on all that, King Saul, King David, Prophet Samuel and MUCH MORE was a TYRANT. Oh let's keep going. What about King Charles III's ancestors who ALL claim to be anointed by God and went to COUNTRIES AND cause massacres.
Based on that Documentary if I am a TYRANT or on the verge of becoming one. I AM FAILING TERRIBLY.
I did not join the military. I was SO CLOSE THOUGH. If I was Canadian at the age of 18 when I first thought about it seriously or I was younger and didn't return in 2019 and passed. THEN I'd have a different story.
I'm NOT MALE; but there can be an exception.
I do NOT have a circle. I have opinionated easily wavered people around me. BUT NONE that support me FULLY. By my act of taking ownership of my parents home after they came and FUCK UP my life and CONTINUE TO DO SO. A friend of mine barely wants to discuss it much less support my decision.
DAMN I should have thought about my image. Especially of displaying weaknesses and vulnerability, if I was TRYING SO HARD TO BE A TYRANt. DAMN those crying videos or talking about my problems. I should have removed them before talking about having a gold plated gun to shoot people with. Next time I plan to be a tyrant I will plan it out better...
Allowing PEOPLE who betray me to be around me or alive. BRUH you know how how long the bar owner been doing shit. BUT I SMILE AND whatever. Or knowing my neighbours did whatever and I smile with them, ETC. Damn I'll do better at Tyranting...NEXT TIME. Maybe the next life.
Oh shit, I forgot I have the knife I could strike fear even with my neighbours. Why didn't I take out a knife and take the keys they STILL HAVE. OK next time I plan to be a TYRANT I will do so.
BUT WAIT aren't TYRANT MEGA RICH with the capability to bribe or TRY to be mega-rich. WAIT, Why am I trying to make a touched, partially-spoiled chicken breast from my smoke-baked Christmas Chicken edible. It was smoke baked because I ran out of GAS. The FUCK? Why don't I take my TYRANT BILLIONS or MY TYRANTY-SELF AND DEMAND/GO GET MILLIONS/BILLIONS and get fresh food. or buy friends or loyalty or something.
If it's a TYRANT I SEEK TO BE I am FAILING TERRIBLY. Which means I will fall grossly into a terrible DEATH.
Hmmm...but I'm still living...and I jave been attacked by FAR WEALTHIER than me. WHh literally have guns, machinery, tankers, helicopters and MUCH MUCH MORE. I don't even have a house (legally), I don't have a car, just 2 retractable sharp but flimsy knifes I travel with, the kitchen knifes and my 2 arms. That's OUTSIDE OF MY GREATEST WEAPON: GOD. Ok, He's more than a weapon. He's my wealth, my weapon, my shield, my map, my GPS, my head of security, my EVERYTHING who OWNS Everything.
Anyway, outside of the God-factor (The GREATEST factor), if I was a Tyrant, based on the rule book I should be DEAD ALREADY and a laughing stock. WELLL, I was a laughing stock...NOT anymore though; yep.
So what NOW?
Anyway, I STINK and I'm going to go bathe now. BYE

Erling Haaland has enjoyed a fantastic start to life at Manchester City, scoring 12 goals with one assist from eight games across the board this season, but Frank McAvennie says he may be rotated by Pep Guardiola as the matches are coming thick and fast. The City manager is known for swapping players out on a regular basis, no matter their reputation, as he keeps his squad fresh by having stiff competition for a starting place. It’s why Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus left to join Chelsea and Arsenal respectively, so McAvennie wonders if Haaland will have a problem with it too. Where will Manchester City finish in the Premier League this season? 1st Vote 2nd Vote 3rd Vote 4th Vote 5th or lower Vote He told Football Insider: “Pep will rest anyone, he’s earned that respect and the players just accept it. I don’t know if Haaland would accept getting rotated. He’ll be saying to Pep ‘rotate somebody else, I want to play every game’.” City welcome Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday evening and travel to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, so they’ll have two games in three days. And in October, City face Manchester United (October 2), FC Copenhagen (October 5) (October 11) and Southampton (October 8) in nine days, so players will need to be rested. Guardiola can’t afford to overuse Haaland as he struggled with injuries at Dortmund and could do with his minutes managed. In his absence, Julian Alvarez could get the nod as he’s proven he’s a capable centre-forward. #Mancity, #ManchesterCity, #premierleague, #livematch, #livestream, #skysports, #premierleaguetv, #epl, #epl2023, #premier league, #premierleaguetable, #epl table, #eplfixtures, #ipl2021 live, #premierleaguefixtures, #fantasypremier eague, #eplresults, #epllivescores, #premierleague results, #pltable, #chelseafixtures, #eplscores, #arsenalfixtures, #premier leaguestandings, #eplstandings, #plfixtures, #eplschedule, #ipllive 2023, #dstvpremiership, #premierleaguetable2023, #pslfixtures, #epllive, #premiershiptable, #eplresultstoday, #eplfixturestoday, #Bitcoin, #Dolars

Leading Livestream Shopping Platform NTWRK Teams Up With Intel and Visual Artist King Saladeen For Exclusive NFT & Prints Drop
Tumblr media
oday, North America’s premier livestream shopping platform NTWRK announces a new collaboration with tech company Intel. In celebration of Intel® Evo™ Laptops, the two brands tapped visual artist King Saladeen to create the first ever and first to world Metaverse art collaboration, the Intel x King Saladeen NFT series.
West Philadelphia born and raised artist Raheem “King” Saladeen has worked with brands like NFL, Nike, Mercedes, Topps, Beats by Dre. Primarily self-taught, he’s become synonymous with his “Money Bear” works which helm a pop graffiti aesthetic. Saladeen has had his work displayed in the New York Stock Exchange & ComplexCon, partnered with Champion for an athletic wear capsule collection, and even has a 200-foot mural in the Philadelphia International Airport.
Since the age of five, Saladeen’s passion for the arts has been a consistent part of his life. Having been raised in a tough urban environment where artistic outlets were few and far between, Saladeen instead turned his attention to basketball. Through traveling, Saladeen saw numerous places where his eyes were opened to the landscapes, shapes and colors that were vastly different from what he saw on a day to day basis. These opportunities allowed him to daydream on a greater scale and be influenced and inspired in a fresh way. In an effort to promote fearlessness and the idea that no one should be boxed in, Saladeen’s art continues to meld the art world with fashion, music and now tech.
King Saladeen’s art focuses on intricate, futuristic and cutting edge design which makes a perfect pairing with a tech forward company like Intel. A champion of the digital space and innovative technologies, Saladeen has created numerous NTFs and believes that  Intel® Evo™ Laptops, can help artists take their work to the next level. By debuting this exclusive collection at Art Basel, both Intel and NTWRK are elevating King Saladeen’s creativity at one of the biggest art fairs in the world.
The Intel x King Saladeen NFT series includes two NFTS which were made on an Intel® Evo™ Laptop. The digital art will be on display during NTWRK x Galore’s star studded Art Basel party on December 1st from 7:00 - 9:30 PM at La Otra in Wynwood, which will feature a massive in person installation from King Saladeen, high energy DJ sets, VIP guests and more (for more info on the party, contact Mikaela Duhs / [email protected])
Each NFT features King Saladeen’s iconic bear image graphic. In one eye, viewers see a wifi symbol to symbolize the lightning fast internet speeds of Intel® Evo™ Laptops, while the other eye features the visual artist's signature money sign.  Each unique piece of digital artwork in this series will be created exclusively using Intel® Evo™ Laptops, and celebrate the power of innovation while uplifting creators, like King Saladeen.
With an Intel® Evo™ Laptop, users don’t have to sacrifice performance, graphics or battery life to get a thin and light laptop. Intel spent thousands of hours studying the way people use their laptops in real life and collaborated with leading PC makers to co-engineer, optimize, and verify these laptop designs to deliver the ultimate mobile performance. The result is premium laptops that deliver an ideal combination of world-class performance; consistent responsiveness; and fast-charging, long-lasting battery, all in a stylish, thin, light form that allows users to move freely and stay productive wherever they are.
The exclusive NFTs will be turned into limited-edition art prints which will be available in an exclusive drawing only on the NTWRK app on November 29th at 2pm PT/ 5pm ET.

Interlude: Faith
As the marabout droned on, Samir’s knees began to hurt and their prayers became more about the sermon finally ending. They supposed they should be grateful it was not a holy day and there was no confession and atonement afterward.
They shut their eyes, totally not napping. They were deep in contemplation.
“May you walk with the gods,” the marabout said.
“And you as well,” Samir’s family intoned, and they jolted to alertness to add their own voice. Their older brother glanced over at them wearily, a (thankfully) silent remonstration for drowsing during prayer again. They half-expected it to turn into a lecture, but Raheem left with his husband and their younger son.
“Want to come play?” their niece Safiya asked, and their nephew Khalid tugged on their arm. Samir had been running around with them all day. Enough was enough.
“Play with your nurse,” they said. “I have to go see my mother.”
Both the little kids groaned, as if it was some punishment. Safiya, who would one day be Emira of the region, ran out of the temple and stomped on the nearest mud puddle. Oh well, she was only eight, might as well let her have fun while she could.
Samir took a wide path around the courtyard and went in the castle through the western entrance. It was near the kitchens, really beneath someone of their rank, but it was the fastest way up to the west wing where their mother was secluded.
They entered through the servant’s hall, darting around a maid and skidding around the corner to the entrance to his mother’s chambers.
“You’re not supposed to use the service entrance,” Zahi said, and once again Samir promised it would be the last time, and Zahi said he’d hold them to that, and both of them had to know he wouldn’t.
“How come you’re here instead of Laila?” Samir asked.
“You know how the trees are blooming. She sneezed, and Lady Atifa assumed she was ill and would not accept otherwise. Laila was sent back to her quarters.”
Made sense. Mother was always so paranoid about illness—and many other things. A guard was outside her room through the day and night not to keep her in, but because she feared an assassin would come after her, despite having no enemies Samir had ever heard of.
“Has she eaten yet?”
“No, she refuses to stop cleaning. She tells the maids to keep bringing up hot water, but she won’t let them assist her.”
“No one else can get it clean enough,” they said, sadly, wearily. “Have some carrot soup sent up, tea, and whatever biscuits are the mildest.”
Zahi nodded and stepped out of the way. Samir knocked three times, waited, then knocked four more times.
“Come in,” came the faint reply.
They entered and as they shut the door, they saw Zahi moving back to his position in front, protecting the wife of the dead Emir from enemies no one else believed in but were real enough to her.
There was a bowl of water on the floor, dingy but not truly dirty. Mother’s hands were red, not a lady’s hands, but she was long past the ability to tend to the duties of consort—even if it was to a man who died ten years ago.
Samir sat down on one of the chairs in her sitting room. “Why don’t you come sit with me? I ordered you some food. It’ll be here soon.”
“You should mind your speaking. You are the son of an Emir. You should speak as such.”
Yeah, that would happen right when they stopped using the servant’s entrance. Besides, she couldn’t really talk about what was appropriate when she was scrubbing her own floors.
“Come sit with me, Mother,” they said, patting the chair.
“I will. I need to finish cleaning. The maids never get it right. The dirt and dust are what makes you sick.”
“But I want to talk to you,” they said, letting an edge of pleading into their voice. She needed at least twenty minutes to shift the focus of her attention, and if it was left until her food arrived, the soup would be cold. Then she’d send for a fresh bowl, grow more hungry and irritable, and distract herself by cleaning before the new soup would arrive. Samir kept pleading with her until she finally set aside her rags and the bowl of water and came to sit with them. Her bony hand clutched theirs, and not for the first time he noticed how thin her face was, and how her hair was so brittle it could no longer hold combs.
