Get Ready for some FOMO! Here are some final updates on TravelCon
Tumblr media
POSTED: 8/8/18 | August 8th, 2018
TravelCon is just about one month away! I can’t believe it! Where did the time go? This time last year, I was brainstorming the event and now here it is!
For a long time, I’ve dreamed of putting on a conference that is less about “getting free trips to travel the world” and more about quality writing, branding, entrepreneurship, SEO, marketing, video production, and product creation — the things that help create a lasting business that delivers value to people and stands the test of time.
I love the web, but in-person events are ten times better for learning and networking. There’s something about meeting another person that bonds you so much more than following their lives on social media or via their blog posts. Face to face connections is where you can make the most lasting connections and relationships — I’ve met some of my best friends, coworkers, and mentors at conferences.
I don’t think my blog would be nearly as big as it is today had I not stepped away from my computer and started attending conferences and events in real life. Now I go to 7-10 conferences each year to meet people, improve my website, and learn new skills.
And that brings me back to TravelCon….
For those in the travel industry — or those who want to be, I want to share some final updates about the event:
With a month left to go, we have:
1. Finalized our schedule. 2. Our meet-ups and parties. 3. Our media marketplace. 3. Our speakers.
We have 600 attendees and 25 brands attending our marketplace where you can schedule meetings to make introductions and work on creating deals.
We’re going to have some really in-depth workshops and talks on how to improve your blog, vlog, photography, podcast, and writing. (You can click here to see the schedule.)
We also finalized our speaker list. We have a who’s who of over 70 of the best speakers in (and outside) travel:

A Dangerous Business
Since we will have beginner and advanced sessions, there will be tracks and tips for people at all levels of success. I believe the best conferences have people of varying skill levels, so everyone can interact and learn from each other. For too long, travel media conferences have been only geared toward newbies. This conference is really about leveling up and moving to the next stage of your journey. All our talks are going to have actionable takeaways for you!
We’ll be having a media marketplace featuring the following brands where you’ll be able to make appointments and find ways to work together with them:
Tumblr media
(Additionally, Visit Pheonix, Get Your Guide, and Landmass Maps will be attending our final marketplace day!)
Considering this is our first year, I’m stoked at the turnout and reception we’ve received!
If you’re interested in stepping up your game, being more than just another struggling influencer, and connecting with your peers and some of the top names and brands in the industry, join us!
We have about 20 last minute tickets left.
Just click here to learn more and secure your spot.
However, if you can’t make the event, we’re offering a virtual ticket. I get that we are all travelers and it’s hard to fly to the middle of the United States for a conference.
We are going to record all our panels, presentations, and keynotes (photo walks and writing workshops not included). Each will be posted online so you’ll be able to watch them from the comfort of your home on any device. Additionally, any PowerPoints or presentation materials that are given out will also be posted online. Everything will go online a few weeks after the event ends.
Though you’ll miss out on all the networking and fun parties (and even cooler people), you’ll get all the educational benefit of the conference, so you can improve your business and boost your career in the travel industry. Self-educating is one of the best ways to do that and create a sustainable platform that pays your bills. Don’t miss out!
The virtual ticket is $149 and can be purchased by clicking here.
****So come and attend TravelCon, learn from the best in the industry, and meet other wonderful travel professionals.
Or, if you can’t make it, get the virtual ticket — and make plans to attend next year!
(And, for everyone else, this is the last update I’ll post before the event, so we’ll be back to travel tips soon enough!)

5 Interesting Tools to Use For an Impactful SEO Content Writing
SEO content writing is the most crucial part of the Search Engine Optimisation process. An effective content grabs the attention of the right set or readers and makes the article fruitful.
Writing is not everybody's cup of tea. There are some obstacles some content writers face. We all stumble with the grammar, choice of words, spellings and creative ideas. Some writers also experience a slowdown in their work and lose their ability to produce new works.
How tools elevate the overall content quality?
Writing effective content helps marketers meet their SEO goals. Any detraction to the quality of work of a professional writer, is needless to say, is detrimental to the individual or the firm.
Besides, an aspiring writing firm is usually ambitious about acquiring new businesses. Cascading tasks like writing, proofreading and editing can help a firm streamline the writing process and keep up the quality. However, monotony of the job, backlog and lack of creativity can still hamper the quality of work.
To be able to deliver compelling content and not sink in the competition, Professional SEO content writers have to overcome any such obstacle.
Fortunately, there are technological advancements that make some of these tasks simple. Several tools simplify these tasks and are regularly used by most reputed SEO content writers .
Here are the list and description of some of these tools.
Tumblr media
1- ProWritingAid
ProWritingAid is an excellent writing aid tool for writers of any background. Many clients, who rely on a continuous chain of supply of content, usually swear by the simplicity of the written material. Easier the content, more effortless it becomes for the readers to follow and retain the information.
Such clients insist on the readability of the content. It is divided into Flesch reading ease and Flesch-Kincaid grade level. They judge content on a certain scale and give out the results. Flesch reading ease states the percentage of ease in the content; whereas, Flesch-Kincaid tells you the level of the school grade comprehensibility of the material.
Keeping the quality of the content while matching these scores is not easy. ProWritingAid is a software that makes that task easy by suggesting replacements for words, phrases and shortening long sentences. You can rest assured about the clarity as well as the quality of your work.
2- WordStream
The quality and effectiveness of the content are its essentials. Even if you have unmatched quality and informativeness in your work and you also keep up with the trend, the right keywords are the ones to drive the right amount of and suitable traffic to the content.
Keyword research is, therefore, vital. WordStream is a software tool that makes it easy for you. There are several other tools available, as well. However, WordStream has captured most of the market due to its unmatched results. What's more satisfying is that the tool is free.
3- Copywritely
Need a more comprehensive tool for your copywriting business? There is one for you, which is also very affordable. Copywritely is the one point solution for many of your content writing needs.
It includes several tools that help you run a readability check, plagiarism check, keyword density check and so on. If it knows that the content ought not to rank high in the Search Engine Page Results (SERP), then it gives you writing tips to improve your content.
With good quality, remarkable and well-articulated content, you are sure to get better traffic and thus the conversion.
4- SEO Tagg
One of the essential parts of the content writing business is making your content strategy in line with your SEO goals. The best way to do this is by organising your content marketing, prioritising and understanding the value of future posts.
SEO Tagg does these all for you. It researches and keeps a look at the keywords on a real-time basis. It does this all as you write the content. Moreover, the best thing about this tool is that it checks for possibilities of including more keywords in your content.
It has the SEO metric analysis tool, and it makes your content better in terms of getting more attention. It is adopted by many bloggers, SEO experts and content writers across the globe.
5- Evernote
As aspiring content writers or writers of books etc., we have a lot of ideas. It may be baffling to jot them or write them down to fetch them easily later. It is convenient as it is available on various platforms like android, iOS as well as Windows.
You can save a precis, idea or any other material on your iPhone and access it from your laptop computer and start from thereon.
These were some of the most useful tools for Professional SEO content writing company to simplify and streamline many of their works. Which tools are you using in your content creation work? Do write to us and let us know.

– Matt

How Copywriting Can Help SMEs
Tumblr media
A lot of small business owners think that they can handle the marketing aspect of their business by themselves. Instead of hiring a professional copywriter to do the job, they take matters into their own hands and plan their marketing campaigns, which do not always produce good results.
That’s why small and medium businesses can greatly benefit from a skilled copywriter. But how so?
For starters, copywriters know how to write for various platforms. These include both print and online materials. They likewise specialise in different kinds of content, from long-form copy to blog posts, website content, press releases, social media posts, and even Linkedin bio profiles. These alone already ease out a business owner’s burden of coming up with pertinent marketing material.
Copywriting agencies in Singapore not only know how to produce different content types; they also clean up writing clutter. They proofread, edit, and revise drafts until these are good for release. A clean copy makes a business look dapper, and it invites more people to check out the brand’s products and services.
Aside from these core benefits, copywriting agencies in Singapore help SMEs via the following ways:
1. They speak the clients’ language
Copywriters know what your audience wants to hear. Dale Carnegie, author of How to Win Friends and Influence People, once remarked, “People aren’t interested in you. They’re interested in themselves.”
Without the right skills, writing the words that will convince people to buy is tricky. Copywriters know the rules. Let them handle it.
2. Get help finding your voice
To stand out, every brand needs its tone of voice. A seasoned copywriter will explore what makes your business tick, how you want to position yourself, and the kind of customers you want to attract. This helps enhance your brand personality.
Whether you want to be friendly but no-nonsense, a bit daft and fun like Innocent Drinks, or sophisticated like Rolex, your identity is critical to compelling marketing copy.
3. Figure out why you’re different
A freelance copywriter will pull out your unique selling points (USPs). If you’re already clear on these, that’s great, but if you’re unsure, a copywriter will find out what it is that puts the chili on your hot dog.
4. Saving time and hassle
Do you ever sit there, head in hands, struggling to write? The words pinball around your mind, refusing to trickle down your shoulders, arms, fingers, and out onto the keyboard?
The solution: jump on Google and find someone who knows how it’s done. Then, you can get on with building your empire.
5. Understanding digital trends
How many times have you been frustrated with your SEO results? It could be that Google’s latest update has knocked your optimization strategy off course. Maybe you’ve posted duplicate content on another website. Perhaps your backlinks are of poor quality.
Hand over the responsibility to an SEO copywriter – they’ll keep your content high in search results while producing top-grade copy.
6. Impressing investors
Let’s face it: first impressions are critical. Especially to busy, important people like investors. If you’re looking for backers, hire a writer to overhaul your copy.
Well-written, well-targeted copy is also a pitching tool, showing funders that you offer something extraordinary. When people land on your website, they will immediately see that you’re taking your brand seriously.
Indeed, it can be costly to hire a copywriter. But the benefits that come with their services are essential for any kind of SME. As a small business owner, you can also learn a lot from your copywriter. Not only will you learn how to promote your business, but more importantly, how to sell it properly to the right people.
