Sorry for the lack of art lately! I just got home from Germany :) I had a really good time. We visited Köln for the majority of the trip, but we also took a day or two at both Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. And I got to meet one of my best friends in person for the first time! They are not pictured for privacy reasons but trust me we had a great time 💕
A few pictures below the cut for anyone who is interested!
It was rainy/cold for most of the trip but that’s fine! You had to take many pics of the cathedral every time you saw it it’s the law. And we did climb the tower, very tiring but worth it!
(And yes i did buy some German One Piece volumes lol)

Worms in Rheinland-Pfalz, Southwestern Germany, is located on the Upper Rhine 60 km from Frankfurt, pop. ~ 87,800 in 2022. A pre-Roman foundation, it was the capital of the Kingdom of the Burgundians in the early 5th century and hence the scene of the medieval legends referring to this period, notably the first part of the Nibelungenlied. It was a Roman Catholic Bishopric since at least 614, and an important palatinate of Charlemagne. Worms Cathedral is one of the Imperial Cathedrals and among the best examples of Romanesque architecture in Germany. The city prospered in the High Middle Ages as an Imperial Free City. Among more than a hundred Imperial Diets held here, the Diet of 1521 ended with the Edict of Worms in which church reformer Martin Luther was declared a heretic. Today, the city is an industrial center and is famed as the origin of Liebfraumilch wine. Other industries include chemicals and metal goods.

Discover the Best Tour Operator in Frankfurt: Unlocking Hidden Gems of Germany’s Heart
Frankfurt is often seen as a bustling financial hub, but this vibrant city has much more to offer. From its historical landmarks to its modern architecture, cultural experiences, and natural beauty, there's so much to explore. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, booking the right tour operator in Frankfurt can make all the difference. In this guide, we’ll explore how a knowledgeable tour operator can help you make the most of your visit to this dynamic city.
Why Choosing a Tour Operator in Frankfurt Is a Game Changer
When you visit a new city, having a local expert by your side can significantly enhance your experience. A tour operator in Frankfurt provides much-needed guidance, ensuring that you don’t miss out on the city’s must-see attractions. While you might be able to navigate the city on your own, a professional guide adds context, depth, and insights that you might otherwise miss.
Moreover, a tour operator can help you design a customized itinerary that aligns with your interests. Whether you're a history buff, a foodie, or an art lover, the right tour operator will know exactly where to take you, saving you time and ensuring you experience the best Frankfurt has to offer.
Tailored Experiences: Discover Frankfurt at Your Own Pace
One of the biggest advantages of booking a tour operator in Frankfurt is the ability to personalize your experience. Instead of sticking to a rigid schedule or overcrowded tourist routes, you can choose from a variety of curated tours that suit your needs and preferences.
From private walking tours through Frankfurt’s old town to immersive culinary tours that introduce you to the city’s best local flavors, a skilled tour operator will ensure that your itinerary reflects your personal tastes. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, you can opt for a slower-paced tour that allows you to soak in the sights, sounds, and atmosphere without feeling rushed.
Exploring Frankfurt’s Historic Landmarks: A Journey Through Time
Frankfurt is home to a fascinating mix of ancient and modern landmarks. A tour operator in Frankfurt will guide you through the city’s iconic sites, starting with its historic heart, the Römerberg. Here, you’ll discover the medieval charm of Frankfurt’s old town, with its half-timbered houses and cobbled streets.
Your tour could also include visits to the majestic St. Bartholomew's Cathedral, a stunning Gothic masterpiece, and the Goethe House, the birthplace of Germany’s greatest writer. With the knowledge of a local guide, you’ll uncover the rich history and stories behind these landmarks, adding layers of meaning to your visit.
Venture Beyond the City: Day Trips with a Tour Operator in Frankfurt
While Frankfurt itself has plenty to offer, the surrounding region is equally captivating. A tour operator in Frankfurt can arrange day trips to nearby attractions that are easily accessible from the city. Explore the charming towns of the Rhine Valley, known for their castles, vineyards, and scenic beauty, or visit the medieval town of Heidelberg, famous for its castle and university.
If you’re into nature, a trip to the Taunus Mountains is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, you can hike through lush forests, visit quaint villages, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. With a local guide leading the way, you’ll gain insider knowledge and make the most of these unforgettable day trips.
Making Your Visit Stress-Free: The Convenience of a Local Tour Operator
One of the most appealing aspects of booking a tour operator in Frankfurt is the convenience it provides. Traveling to a new city can be stressful, especially when navigating unfamiliar transport systems or trying to figure out the best routes. A local guide takes care of all the logistics, from transportation to booking tickets and ensuring you don’t waste time standing in long lines.
Additionally, a tour operator can provide you with insider tips on the best restaurants, shops, and hidden gems in Frankfurt. They can even help you with language barriers, making your visit more enjoyable and seamless. With all the planning and details taken care of, you can relax and focus on enjoying your trip to the fullest.
