Sorry for the lack of art lately! I just got home from Germany :) I had a really good time. We visited Köln for the majority of the trip, but we also took a day or two at both Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. And I got to meet one of my best friends in person for the first time! They are not pictured for privacy reasons but trust me we had a great time 💕
A few pictures below the cut for anyone who is interested!

It was rainy/cold for most of the trip but that’s fine! You had to take many pics of the cathedral every time you saw it it’s the law. And we did climb the tower, very tiring but worth it!
(And yes i did buy some German One Piece volumes lol)

Worms in Rheinland-Pfalz, Southwestern Germany, is located on the Upper Rhine 60 km from Frankfurt, pop. ~ 87,800 in 2022. A pre-Roman foundation, it was the capital of the Kingdom of the Burgundians in the early 5th century and hence the scene of the medieval legends referring to this period, notably the first part of the Nibelungenlied. It was a Roman Catholic Bishopric since at least 614, and an important palatinate of Charlemagne. Worms Cathedral is one of the Imperial Cathedrals and among the best examples of Romanesque architecture in Germany. The city prospered in the High Middle Ages as an Imperial Free City. Among more than a hundred Imperial Diets held here, the Diet of 1521 ended with the Edict of Worms in which church reformer Martin Luther was declared a heretic. Today, the city is an industrial center and is famed as the origin of Liebfraumilch wine. Other industries include chemicals and metal goods.
