Album #92: “Francis Albert Sinatra & Antônio Carlos Jobim” by Francis Albert Sinatra & Antônio Carlos Jobim (1967)
the return of the king.
Frank Sinatra tackles Bossa Nova with help from the man who pioneered the genre, Tom Jobim. right off the bat they cover “The Girl From Ipanema” (aka the most covered pop song in history), and Sinatra crushes this track like he crushes all tracks, with Jobim providing wonderfully fitting backing vocals. seven of the albums ten tracks were co-written by Jobim, who also plays guitar throughout, and the remaining three songs are taken from the Great American Songbook, the deep wells of which Sinatra knew incredibly well at this point.
at this point it’s no controversial opinion to say Sinatra is one of the greatest singers of all time, and how easily and how naturally his voice fits into bossa nova is a massive testament to his versatility as a singer.

Blouinova in Smits svetovna prvaka v Slopestylu
Kanadčanka Laurie Blouin in Begijec Seppe Smits sta na svetovnem snowboard prvenstvu v španski Sierri Nevadi prišla do naslovov svetovnega prvaka.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Rezultati
1. Blouin Laurie (Kanada) - 78.00 2. Sadowski Synnott Zoi (Nova Zelandija) - 77.50 3. Onitsuka Miyabi (Japonska) - 77.40 4. Shorr Karly (ZDA) - 68.15 5. Derungs Isabel (Švica) - 66.80 6. Jenson Jessika (ZDA) - 63.00 7. Voigt Brooke (Kanada) - 46.15 8. Fujimori Yuka (Japonska) - 32.95

Se casó con las mujeres más ➕ hermosas, talentosas y deseadas de Hollywood y a lo largo de su influyente carrera dejó éxitos mundiales como My Way, Strangers In The Night, New York, New York, Fly Me To The Moon, Come Fly With Me y un larguísimo etcétera.
