David Francey was in town for a show tonight and I went with a bunch (7) of cousins. We love him so much. He played almost all my favourites and put on a great show even though he was sick. I haven’t been to a concert in ages. It was so fun and I cried a little bit, so. 10/10.

As hopeful as I am for Pokemon ZA (and don't get me wrong I think it's going to be cool) I'm kinda sad it probably won't be what it's like in my head.
LET ME EXPLAIN.
Going by the trailer, it really doesn't seem like it's going to be in the past (or at the very least not very far in the past). The people look too modern and the technological vibe of the second half of it doesn't help this thought.
In my head (and I think a lot of our heads) I was really hoping for like.....the OPULENCE and GRAND BEAUTY version of France. Like Sinnoh had damn near ANCIENT Sinnoh, I was hoping for something a little closer to the now but still 'historic'. Given the history of France at that time period-esque was Revolution after Revolution after Revolution, admittedly it makes sense they wouldn't.
I'm still excited to see what they've got in store, but like......maaaan I wanted the Fancy Schmancy France lmao. Give me the vibes of Diana's champion arena!!! Give me a game where the legendaries of Life and Death don't feel like a foot note LIKE WHAT THE FUCK THAT'S COOL AS HELL AND YOU JUST DON'T USE THAT??????
Hold on now I'm just ranting about Kalos my flawed beloved wait-
Anyways, I feel this isn't going to be a "Legends" game but more of a "Pokemon X/Y 2" kinda thing. Which is sad. (Sorry that came out of nowhere I came to this realization right as I was about to post this lmao)

'Le Corbeau' – hypocrisy in occupied France on Criterion Channel
French filmmakers continued making movies during the German occupation under the control of a Nazi-approved mogul. Astoundingly, some of these film remain classics, untainted by propaganda or even Fascist sympathies, but Henri-George Clouzot’s Le Corbeau (France, 1943) is in a class by itself. The surface of postcard-pretty images of a lovely rural town is pulled back to reveal a petty,…
