• I’ve been roleplaying since what feels like forever. I started super young one summer before school started up, and I’ve been on-and-off ever since. I began in roleplay groups roleplaying Harry Potter, then got really into The Vampire Diaries-verse, and have also enjoyed Percy Jackson, supernatural town, royal rpgs, and a bunch I’ve popped into over the years.

• I do come from a land down under *cue the flute*. So AEST timezone, but my schedule is alll over a lot of the time.

• I’m looking to rp over discord. Fair warning, I am still getting the hang of rping on there and I have no idea how to do real fancy stuff but I’m a quick learner so we’ll be fine. I still feel like it was yesterday when I dragged my feet big time transferring from roleplaying on facebook to tumblr. Ah, time flies.

• I’m a very easy going person! Your length, I’ll match. Your ideas? I’ll pretty much lap up everything. Hate fandom rp? Cool not an issue at all! Hate oc rps and prefer fandom? Wicked! If I don’t know the lore well, I’ll wing it! Struggling to get a reply out? No stress! I’m well passed putting so much pressure onto things that they feel like a chore. I’d love to chat about our ships and discuss fc’s and get excited and really have some fun!

• I play mostly female muses! I know, I’m so terribly cliche, but I am pretty meh with male muses. Although, it’s been a long time since I’ve given it a go and I’m always happy to compromise! Very much wanting sapphic plots too!!

• I’m open to smut and most ideas! Don’t like super dark kinks or anything too out there but, again, always willing to try new things within reason! Plot and smut should be balanced. I also have no triggers.

I WOULD RISK IT ALL FOR THESE PLOTS:

1) Based on a fave book series of mine, but honestly does not need to have any relation to it and can be adapted to any ideas. Basically, girl runs away from home in her mid teens, meets guy around her age who takes her in with him and his guardian who have some secrets, turns out they’re *some type of supernatural creature idk can be whatever we like*. Turns out she has some illness that he can’t cure alone and he has to agree to hand her over to his enemies so that they can cure her, but it also will wipe her memories and she will forget her life before. Fast forward a few years, he’s never stopped protecting her but he’s never gotten close because he can’t bear it. She just happens to go with her friends to the club he now owns. Drama ensues.

2) ““oh, can we take it nice && slow?” two strangers who meet every weekend at a club. nothing but first names are shared. they use each other to relieve the stress of their weeks. hot && heavy dancing. making out on the dance floor. on occasion hookups in the corner of the club. but the moment they leave the club, it’s as if they don’t exist. their chemistry is electric, but there unspoken complications in their lives that they just understand. it isn’t until a new monday comes around && she walks into the office to meet her new boss. oh, shit. her weekend hook up is her new boss. she assumes he’s married with the ring on his finger, she has no idea he’s widowed && he has no idea that she has a child at home”

3) “OR hey what about a historical plot where Muse A and Muse B are both next in line to the throne of their neighbouring countries that once used to be one nation. There’s been a push for many years to unite the kingdoms once more, and many want Muse A and Muse B to marry in order for it to happen. But, Muse A and Muse B absolutely hate each other, and can’t stand the idea of being around one another. Until, they’re forced into the engagement by their parents, and are made to spend countless hours with one another. Lots of bickering, and tension ensue, as they get closer asdfjkl”

4) “plot where ‘i had a bad break up with my ex of 4 years who cheated on me, and treated me like dirt and wow i just found out i’m pregnant and he’s the father so here comes the emotional breakdown and late night pounding on his front door. But oops you’re not him, you’re his brother and you’re being really kind to me and calming me down, and those kisses on the top of my head are so new to me.’ also referred to as the plot where Muse A is pregnant, her manipulative ex boyfriend is the father, however Muse B aka his brother had always had a thing for Muse A. The night Muse A comes banging on his brothers door while Muse B is staying there for a while, he consoles her and decides to help her through the break up and pregnancy. However feelings get involved, drama, fights, and his older/younger brother isn’t so happy about it. Yes pls”

5) “maybe a plot where muse a and muse b broke up like five years ago and then muse a got a call from muse b’s parents telling him that she got into an accident and had temporary amnesia and only remember the time when they were together so they’re asking him for a favor to go back home?”

6) two muses who hate each other and are constantly competing at everything and everyone thinks they can’t stand each other but oh wait you’re really hot let’s have angry sex oh no wait now i have feelings

After a few PAINFUL months of back and forth thinking, I've decided on a few things regarding Madison.

As.hley Be.nson WILL remain as her default FC however I AM allowing my partners to CHOOSE whether they would like Em.ma Ro.berts used in our personal threads. You will all have the choices between, As.hley , Em.ma , or completely faceless icons ( however I do not have as many of those I'm sure some could be made).

WHY THIS CHANGE? - a handful of reasons.

multiple partners have been requesting I keep using Em.ma from the day the FC was changed.

I don't personally have a DNI list when it comes to celebs, they don't make anything from little ol me using them as an FC.

personal connection - Em.ma fits that character better than anyone I have been able to think of as a recast - she put the work in and made the character someone I really loved and relate to, and since my own recast it hasn't felt the same.

similarly to above - my writing has not felt as good - I don't feel like I've been able to properly portray the character - and yes people say that FC / ICONS don't make the writing any different but to some of us it does.

THIS IS A HOBBY at the end of the day - that's all this is, to a lot of us a way to bring just a little spark of joy to our days. So for that I'll be doing what feels best for me.

misc.   —   ! tws for mentions of cancer, death ! jude stoffels is looking for the ( former ) mother of his daughter ( excuse me while i ramble, but jude and this muse met in his sophomore year of high school. he was the typical smart guy in every ap class and she needed a tutor, this is how they met, through him tutoring her. there was an instant connection between them and soon enough, they started to date. fast forward to jude’s junior year and they find out she’s expecting a kid, which, was a huge scandal at the time, but they stuck together and had a daughter with the name to be decided. by the time their daughter is five, she’s diagnosed with cancer. they both struggled a lot with this, but unfortunately, she passes away when she’s six, earlier this year in late march. after this terrible event, jude and this muse attempt to stay together, but eventually, drift apart after sometime. jude cares about her deeply still and has an insane amount of respect for her, definitely considers her his soulmate, but with what happened, it was very difficult for them to cope and still be in a healthy relationship. i want angst, pain, late night texts, awkwardness, and all the drama that can come with a plot like this, and you don’t have to reach out, but you definitely can if you’d like more details! ) within the age range of 22-24 that preferably looks like maude apatow (!!!), jenna ortega, ayesha madon, danielle rose russell, lulu antariksa, valentina zenere, giorgia whigham, camila mendes, halle bailey, madison bailey, julia dalavia, paris berelc, lauren tsai, olivia holt, really any female fc that can pass within the age range. you do not have to contact the mun before applying under xjude.

biography

Marley Simmons was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, but it wasn’t where she belonged. That’s what everyone had always told her. Everyone in the Simmons family was musically gifted, sure, but Marley was different. Her mom and dad both played in a local band that was lucky to scrape together two gigs a month, and her older sister Mallory really took to the cello. But Marley’s gifts extended to anything and everything music related. Not only was she singing before she could even talk, but she could play nearly every instrument she picked up, and she had a real gift for songwriting as well. And on top of all her talent, she had this infectious energy that everyone seemed to be drawn to. As a child, she never really had the warmest personality, but all the other kids wanted to be her friend. And even though she was always the rowdiest, most rambunctious child in the room, her teachers all thought she was a hoot. People really were just drawn to her, so Marley had no doubt in her mind that someday, she’d make it big.

Things in Marley’s life took a sharp turn right after she turned ten. Another local Portland band was asked to open for the Talking Heads on their tour, but they were down a lead singer. They offered Marley’s mom the spot as long as she was okay with leaving behind her family and quitting the band (formerly known as High Five) she’d spent nearly a decade being a part of. She jumped at the chance, and while she kept in touch with her family for the first few months of the tour, they eventually stopped hearing from her at all. Marley, Mallory, and their dad were all heartbroken, but they kept moving forward. What else could they do?

From then on out, Marley’s life looked a lot different. Her dad was a bartender, meaning he wasn’t around most nights. And even when he was home, he wasn’t really there. Not mentally, at least. Seeing his wife abandon him and their children really changed him, and he wasn’t the tuned in father he always had been. So Marley spent the remainder of her childhood being raised by her older sister. And she became even more determined than ever to make something of herself. Part of her wanted to be able to provide for her dad and sister after everything they’d all been through. But the other part really just wanted to be able to say she found more success in the business than her mom ever did.

The second Marley graduated from high school, she headed for LA and never looked back. But she wasn’t prepared for what she’d find there. She spent her whole life hearing everyone talk about how talented she was, and how big of a star she’d be. So she’d never really considered the possibility that she’d fail. But that’s exactly what happened. Marley spent nearly three years in LA trying to get her big break before giving up. She thought about going home to Portland to be with her family again, but she couldn’t face them. She couldn’t face anyone who’d believed in her. It felt too much like she’d let them all down. So she took to life on the road. She knew it would probably break her family’s hearts all over again, but she felt like she needed to do it. She needed some clarity that she knew going back to her hometown would never give her.

Conference Realignment Grades: Sun Belt

Following the American Athletic Conference’s raid on Conference-USA, the Sun Belt found their own chance to get a leg up on the competition. The league also raided Conference USA, taking several of the remaining strongest brands/programs, while once again promoting the cream of the FCS to the FBS to infuse more talent into the league.

Marshall, Old Dominion, and Southern Miss were given a life raft away from the sinking C-USA ship. The Golden Eagles fit perfectly with the culture and geography of the Sun Belt even though USM hasn’t been the program it used to be 10+ years ago. The Thundering Herd and the Monarchs extend the league further North than they’ve been before, but these moves shouldn’t strain the conference geographically by any means. Marshall is a longtime stalwart of the mid-major world, the Herd should transition just fine into their new home. ODU has never really been successful at FBS football just yet, they’re a bet on the future.

The final piece of the puzzle is James Madison. The Dukes are moving up from the Colonial Athletic Association in the FCS and will pair up with Old Dominion as the league’s new foothold in Virginia. JMU joins former FCS powers App State, Coastal Carolina, and Georgia Southern in Sun Belt’s East division.

One other side effect of this push into football dominance is that the Sun Belt’s two non-football members did leave. I haven’t really found the reasoning for it, but for college football purposes this has zero impact.

Schools lost: Arkansas-Little Rock, UT-Arlington Schools gained: James Madison, Marshall, Old Dominion, Southern Miss

Grade: A-

The Sun Belt made out like bandits in the latest round of realignment. No other FBS conference comes close except, of course, the SEC. Pound for pound, this conference might be the best G5 league moving forward. At worst, the Sun Belt will be among the top 3 G5 conferences with the weakened AAC and the Mountain West. These were all very savvy moves and should pay off handsomely in the near and long term for this burgeoning conference.
