He put shrimp on the ice cream you’re sharing. How do you respond?
(I had a simple idea and drew it out also gave Starline a bit of a wardrobe change just for something fun)

I want to tell someone about the wild melt I made. (this post is encouraging you to try it yourself)
Everyone time I've made this everyone nearby started dunking on me with how unappetizing it looked and the weird combo, but they never actually tried it so they didn't understand the depth of my genius by creating this combo
Tumblr media
This is a slice of bread topped with jalapeño cream cheese, ham, salt, pepper, paprika and msg, tabasco, sweet/honey mustard and cheese, then microwaved for 90 seconds.
The most important step to this combo and the thing most people thought was weird was the tabasco and honey mustard combo. By having a lot of tabasco and a reasonable amount of mustard they balanced each other out, by contrasting the sweet mustard with the spicy and vinegary tabasco.
This combo sprung forth from the combo of tabasco and honey on a melt, but without the spices. I made that but thought it lacked spices, but with pure honey it was too much on the sweet side to add spices, so it tasted pretty weird. So I came up with the idea of adding honey mustard to keep the dish in the savory category, but with a savoury type of sweetness from the mustard. This combo then enabled me to add more spices to make it taste better.
The taste of this dish is pretty interesting with the different ingredients, but the basic melt ingredients of cream cheese, ham and cheese create a normal, but tasty combo, especially with a little jalapeño. By then adding spices it, of course, spices it up by tasting both better and more, and by adding tabasco on top of that the vinegary and hotness increases the enjoyment of this combo even more. By so adding a type of sweet mustard on top of that you contrast the spicieness of vinegary taste from the tabasco, but at the same time you add a mustard flavor which combines with everything else to elevate this melt to another level. And, of course, it's important to heat it up to get the maximum enjoyment out of it with streachy and melty cheese and the general enjoyment of a hot meal.
So, my conclusion is that I think people should try it before they start dunking on it, just because it seems weird.
I also want to encourage other people to try different, weird and new combos without caring about what other people think of your food, you may create a new and delicious combo noone else has though of before. So make sure to be creative with your food, as it would be a sad life if other people dictated what you should eat.

HEHE!! my mom found some gluten free garlic bread recently and it’s good! the crust is a bit thick and has an odd taste, but its bread :]. dunno how they do it without the wheat. i found a really good brand—nature’s own i think? and another with a blue and yellow color scheme. before then i dealt with all the cheap gf bread crumbling in my hands like that on gif :gone:, which was pain. but!! now i found a good brand and can make sandwiches :]. for dinner along with gf pizza, i had a nutella + peanut butter sandwich on toasted bread with (barely ripe) banNAnAs inbetween!! it was great but messy. now im hungry for oatmeal with raisins and bananas like how my grandma makes it. she adds milk too?? i think i tried that once or twice in minnesota. yum.

look i can appreciate fruit with honey, deli meat and cheese, y'know 'normal snacks'. but food combinations that seem random have my heart and are always better. I without fail will always make a green grape and peanutbutter tortilla if i have the option.

Other fads include food combinations.
"[F]ruits and “acid” vegetables should be kept as far away from starchy foods as possible. If one made the mistake of eating, say, spaghetti with tomato sauce, the combination would cause fermentation in the digestive tract and, inevitably, souring of the blood, aka acidosis. Acidosis, a high acid level in the blood, is today usually diagnosed as due to overexercise or pulmonary problems. In the 1920s, acidosis was named the culprit for everything from general lack of pep to bouts of vomiting in children. ... Some doctors protested that many cases ascribed to acidosis were probably due to food poisoning, but their voices were lost in the din."
