Phone call thingy from my FNAF inspired game idea LividMetal nights
Night 1.
“Hello? You there?“Oh, hi, and welcome to your first night on the job at LividMetals. I’m here to get you settled in on your first night. You can call me |Static| be- |more static| -ef- |static| -Steak. Now let’s start with the layout, in front of you on your desk are your monitors. You can look at the cameras into each room, room one is the waste room, 2 is the lounge, 3 is not important, the camera doesn’t work, room four isn’t on the cams ‘cause you can see that out your window *laughs*, camera 5 is in your office, 6 is the corridor, and 7 is the test room. Now note that you do have to get up and check on the rooms in person at least Once a night, just not the boiler room, we have professionals handling that room. Now, with walking around, be sure to be quiet, you can wake something up. But that won’t happen, but if you do and they start walking around and they do happen to get into your room hide under your desk and flash it with your flashlight, and if that doesn’t work, scream. And if all else fails, beg for mercy. But that won’t happen, you’ll be fine, there is nothing to fear. That should be all. Bye!” Let me know if you want to hear more of them :)

Dialogue prompts for Mrs. Afton inspired by the world of Five Nights at Freddy's:
Protective Concern: "Michael, I’ve always told you to stay away from that place. There’s something wrong with those machines, something your father won’t admit."
Tragic Reflection: "I tried to keep this family together, but how can you fix something when the cracks run so deep? He lost himself in those monsters… and now I fear it’s too late for any of us."
Quiet Warning: "You think you know him? You don’t. William’s secrets are buried deeper than you can imagine. If you want to survive, you’ll need to stop digging."
Grief Stricken: "They’re gone… my babies are gone. I never thought this would happen. He promised me it was safe… But nothing is safe around him."
Haunted Presence: "They talk to me, you know. The children. Their voices are faint, like whispers from the shadows. I’ve tried to block them out, but they won’t leave me alone."
Bitter Betrayal: "I stood by him through everything, even when I knew… I knew what he was doing. But I was a fool. A fool to believe love could change a monster."
Confrontation with William: "You said it was all for them, for our family… but all I see is blood on your hands, William. When did we stop being your priority?"
Seeking Redemption: "I have to find a way to make it right. I may not be able to bring them back, but I can stop him. Stop this cycle of death and pain."
Sinister Knowledge: "The machines remember, Michael. They remember everything. Your father might control them, but they’re not loyal to him anymore."
Final Plea: "You still have a chance to escape this nightmare. Don’t follow in his footsteps, Michael. Please, I’ve already lost too much."
Tumblr media
Maternal Anguish:
"Do you think I don’t feel it too, William? Every night, the whispers of our lost children haunt me. But I refuse to believe they’re truly gone. Not yet."
Confrontation:
"All those nights you came home late, you thought I didn’t know? The lies, the blood on your hands… I’ve known for far too long, William. And now, it’s time to make you pay."
Regret:
"They trusted us. Their innocent faces, their laughter… it was all supposed to be safe. But now their souls are lost, because of you… because of us."
Determination:
"I will find them, our children. No matter what it takes, no matter how far I have to go. Even if it means facing the very monsters you've created."
Breaking Point:
"Do you think I don't see them, standing there in the dark? I hear their cries, William. Every. Single. Night. You can't ignore what you've done anymore."
The Mother’s Vow:
"They will not rest until you’ve paid for your sins, and neither will I. This ends now, William, one way or another."
Mourning:
"I still see their faces, our little ones. I can almost hear their laughter… but it’s hollow now, distant, like a memory trapped in a nightmare."
Resentment:
"You said you were doing it for them, for our family. But look what you've done. You tore us apart, you tore me apart, all for your twisted experiments."
Reflection:
"What happened to us? We were supposed to be a family. Now, we're nothing more than ghosts in the machines you built."
Final Confrontation:
"You can’t run from this anymore, William. The truth will catch up to you, just like it caught up to me. And when it does… there will be no escape."
Tumblr media
Confronting William Afton:
"You promised me, William. Promised you’d leave it all behind. But all I see is your obsession consuming us—our family."
Caring for Her Children:
"Michael, Elizabeth, you stay away from that place. I don’t care what your father says. I’m protecting you both, even if he won’t."
Discovering the Truth:
"I saw the blueprints, William. I know what you’ve been doing. How many more children need to disappear before you stop?"
Ghostly Lament:
"I never wanted this. I wanted a family, not… not monsters. But now I can’t leave. Not until justice is done, for them, for all of them."
Final Goodbye:
"You could have stopped this. You could have chosen us, William. But now? There’s nothing left of the man I loved."
Confronting Michael about the Animatronics:
"I know you’re trying to fix his mistakes, but this path… it will destroy you too, Michael. Please, don't follow in his footsteps."
Reflecting on Elizabeth’s Fate:
"I should have kept you away from that horrible place, Elizabeth. You wanted so badly to be like him, but you deserved so much more."
Haunting William in the Afterlife:
"You think you can hide behind those metal monstrosities, William? But I see you. Even here, I see you. There’s no escaping what you’ve done."
Seeing the Animatronics for the First Time:
"These… these things are your creation? You’ve made them look like children’s friends, but I can see the darkness lurking behind their eyes."
Addressing the Spirits of the Children:
"I don’t expect forgiveness, not from any of you. But I will help you find peace, however long it takes."

I will die on the hill that movie Mike Schmidt is going to be Michael Afton, it makes perfect sense and it's the exact kind of thing they'd never alude to in the trailers, to keep it as a good standard movie twist- however it would be so fucking funny for the movie to reach its climax and have scooped mid-timeline Mike run out from whatever corner he's been skulking in and save everyone with no explanation at all. The idea of going to see the FNAF movie as someone with no or very minimal knowledge about FNAF and then having a fucking zombie looking dude who has not been introduced do most of the third act heavy lifting is just fucking insane.

Movie Posters and Book covers reimagined as FNAF [concept not art]
Warnings: discussion of disturbing imagery, gore, and horror.
None of these ideas are based off the plot of the story and more of the way the poster looked. Just wished to say that before someone told me why poster idea was wrong because of said story plot.
[Feel free to use these ideas but I ask to be tagged if the idea is used so that I can see it. I like looking at cool artwork.]
Tumblr media
This poster but redraw it as Michael Afton from FNAF during his Ennard era. Change out the stuff with wires, blood, and some of the remaining internal organs. Blood dripping down his now purple eyes. Clawing at his decomposing face with some of the skin peeling off as he does. It would be a wonderful horror image.
-
Tumblr media
FNAF 4 Crying Child. Here's my idea. CC kneeling in front of a television playing the Freadbear and Friends cartoon, but have the image be staticed over a bit. Fretboard plushie being on it's back as well in the same position as the poster. But to add onto the image have the nightmare be standing slightly seen in the dark background behind the TV in the same standing order as presented on the TV with the nightmare Fred bear even further behind them with the menacing teeth covered in blood be the most prominent part. The wording on the poster even fits the idea. Have the Poltergeist be turned into Nightmares or something similar.
-
Tumblr media
Pizza-plex horror poster. I have two ideas that can be mixed and matched around. This isn't as concrete of an idea but spinning of multiple concepts.
1. Have the hand holding the bag be Vanny's and the head in the bag be Vanessa's to symbolize the way that Vanny has taken over Vanessa.
2. Have the hand stay as Vanny but have Gregory's head be in the bag. Showing the worst case scenario that could have happened.
3. Have it be the mimics hand [real or digital] holding Cassie's head in the bag either bare or with the discarded Vanny mask.
But whatever is choosen the bag is changed to a fazbear gift bag, a simple 80s inspired logo, nothing too busy. To add to the horror you could add blood coming from the hole in the bag or from the head in the bag. Either way it's an interesting concept
-
Tumblr media
William Afton as the man with the bloody knife and the five figures as the five missing children. Make the background the pizzeria and while a simple change over it would be really cool to see where an artist might take it.
-
Tumblr media
Another FNAF 4 poster idea. This one being from outside the Afton house and the spirits over the top being the nightmares. There's enough faces for it to include a lot more faces. Keep the bedroom window but have the light come from a side view child holding up a flashlight or something similar.
-
Tumblr media
Another Michael idea. The G in the poster kinda looks like a stylized scooper doesn't it. Keep the clock and blood dripping down it the same, put Michael in his matentence worker uniform and it would make a cool poster. The clock face could even be turned into Baby's face to symbolize where her face appears as a clock face during the game.
-
Tumblr media
Honestly Just an excuse to draw Bonnie's spirit Jeremy shredding on Bonnie's guitar. Nothing too deep about this one, just a really cool image I wanted everyone to think about.
-
Tumblr media
Ennard in the sewer. Ennard right after it left Michael's body. The blood still on the sidewalk and some loose wires that didn't make it. Turn the paper boat into Ennard's party hat. Have glowing eyes be seen in the darkness and dried bloody hand like metal be clamping onto the grate.
-
Tumblr media
Tales from the Pizzaplex with Tiger rock holding the book. Simple one but one I thought would be fun to show for the book fans.
-
Tumblr media
William holding up a knife to one of his victims. I was thinking Charlie or Cassidy. Have there be some speckles of blood if you believe the missing Children's incident took place over the course of an extended period of time or have it be covered in the blood of the recently killed other children if you believe the killing happen over a very short time span.
-
[I might make more parts with more of my ideas later.]

hmmm…. Fnaf related game idea.. hmmm
OKAY SO. IMAGINE THIS. THERES A CAFE NEXT TO A LAKE SURROUNDED BY PINE TREES, THE CAFE HAS ONLY TWO ANIMATRONICS, A DUCK ANIMATRONIC. AND A BEAVER ANIMATRONIC. THEIR NOT CANONICALLY GAY. IDK WHY I SAID THAT, BUT THE ANIMATRONICS CAN MOVE AROUND, SOMETIMES MAKE THE CUSTOMERS ORDER ETC-
BUT AT NIGHT, AROUND 12 AND 3, A GROUP OF DUMBASS KKDS SNEAK INTO THE CAFE ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT THE ANIMATRONICS ARENT THERE. BUT THEY DECIDE TO RAID THE FRIDGES TO TRY TO GET FOOD, ONLY TO DISCOVER A DUCK LIKE BEAK THATS CERAMIC, OVER TIME, THE LONGER THEIR THERE, THEY FIND A CERAMIC BODY OF A BEAVER AND A BEAVER TAIL, AND FOUR CERAMIC DUCK FEET. BUT WHILE THEY FIND THOSE OBJECTS, THEY HEAR WEIRD NOISES OUTSIDE, AND THEY SEE THE SILHOUETTE OF A DUCK HEAD, BUT IT CANT BE THE DUCK ANIMATRONIC BECAUSE IT HAS THE TAIL OF THE BEAVER ANIMATRONIC. BUT SOON ONE FRIEND DISAPPEARS WITH ONLY THE SMELL OF BLOOD LEFT. YADADADADADAYA, ONLY 3 FRIENDS SURVIVE AND THEY DISCOVER THAT THE DUCK ANIMATRONIC AND THE EBAVER ANIMATRONIC HAD MUSHED TOGETHER INTO A PLATYPUS ANIMATRONIC BUT FUCKED UP LOOKING AND NOT PROFESSIONALLY MADE.
NAME ONE FNAF INSPIRED GAME THAT HAS A PLATYPUS ANIMATRONIC IN.

so, since the Pizzaplex is built on top of the FNaF 6 pizzeria, imagine that all of the other souls of the animatronics who burned are still down there.
here’s a fun little scene to picture this with: Vanessa is back down in the old pizzeria to repair Burntrap. for awhile now, she’s thought that she has heard things coming from different rooms, but every time she checks (although begrudgingly and fearfully because it’s creepy as shit down there), there’s nothing ever there.
and then, her tools start mysteriously disappearing and reappearing in different places.
and then, things start falling over without being touched.
and then, doors are left opened even though she knows she had closed them.
and then, something hard is smashing into the back of her head, and she’s blacking out on the floor.
when she comes to, there’s a cacophony of voices all around her, and for a moment, she thinks it’s her coworkers who have come to rescue her. but then she realizes that she doesn’t recognize these voices.
they seem to be arguing.
“WHY are you fighting with me?! killing her is the best option!”
“it’s mean!”
“‘it’s mean!’ you know what else is mean? REBUILDING A SERIAL KILLER!”
“i kinda want to pilot her. you know, like a plane?”
“no!”
“ohh, wait, yes! that’s even better! let’s use her worthless body for GOOD!”
“NO! you can’t do that!”
“oh my GOD, whose side are you on?!”
“what the fuck…”
Vanessa finds herself surrounded by a trio of ghosts. they’re all children, but they somehow seem to be much, MUCH older. older than even her.
one of the ghosts, a girl, grabs a twisted piece of metal and swings it at Vanessa, and Vanessa had no idea that ghosts were able to do that. she thought they phased straight through physical objects! also, OW! that little bitch is STRONG!
“Elizabeth!” shouts the other girl ghost.
“WHAT?! stop YELLING AT ME!”
“don’t hurt her! here, let me talk to her.”
“oh my god.”
the second girl ghost introduces herself as Charlie, and she explains the whole little problem: she and her friends are a teensy tiny bit wary of Vanessa because she’s sorta kinda remaking their murderer (or the murderer of some) and that’s an itty bitty bit worrying for them. there’s a lot more ghosts, as several other bodies momentarily manifest into reality. it seems that they’re all afraid of her.
Vanessa then has to awkwardly stammer her way through an explanation, saying that this is all a misunderstanding and that she doesn’t really have a choice in the matter.
“what are you talking about?” Elizabeth asks, suspicious.
“He— Mr. Afton—”
“He makes you call Him ‘Mr. Afton’?!” Elizabeth then gapes in horror.
“uhh… yeah. don’t really got a choice there, either. but He’s having me remake Him. i’m not doing it because i want to.”
all the ghosts seem to hesitate.
“you mean…He’s already around?” Charlie says tentatively.
“that’s right,” Glitchtrap’s voice seethes as he manifests into a full-bodied apparition before them all. “and none of you are getting your hands on my bitch.”
Vanessa points to Him. “unfortunately, i’m His bitch.”

bearer of the curse (too many good ideas)
#melonposting#augh it’s so annoying!!! like i can’t do everything i think of#grt3d is reassuring in that now i know it’s possible for me to fully execute a story#but that still doesn’t help the fact that there are so many to execute :’D#like there’s the mothmen obviously. that one’s been simmering for a while#then there’s goody gardens if i ever decide to really ‘make’ anything with it (as it is it’s just a cast of characters to think about)#there’s the botanica story too (which still needs an official name)#and there’s my ii3 rewrite/au#oh not to mention whatever pokemon x&y rewrite i was planning way back when. don’t know if i really care about that now#i haven’t done much with arthropocalypse (i don’t even think i’ve posted about it here at all) but that has potential#and of course there are the middle school era stories like camp mercury and dark divinity which i don’t think i care to do anything with#(they’re just funny to look back at)#there’s my pokemon-inspired story/game/something revolving entirely around species of butterflies and moths#and there’s the very recent idea of a mascot horror type thing involving a museum and the exhibits coming alive and trying to kill you#(like night in the museum crossed with fnaf or something)#and a sitcom-type thing involving the dolls belonging to the children in a large family and the drama they get into#oh and wasn’t there some story i had about a rich guy living in a haunted mansion and supernatural creatures working there?#like he has a vampire butler and mothman gardener or something like that?#oh and my weird story with holmes-and-watson-inspired mad scientist supervillains#and what’s basically a high school au of sherlock holmes which was cute#hm there’s my dandelion-themed children’s book#and probably a handful of object show ideas as well#goodness gracious i am insane

dreaming up a syllabus for an imaginary course on metanarratives about gameplay, which i think would go something like:
unit 1: who do you think you are i am - auto-documentary & games
Vlogs and the Hyperreal, Folding Ideas
The Slow Death of Let's Play Videos, Meraki (to ~10:00)
World Record Progression: Mike Tyson, Summoning Salt
ROBLOX_OOF.mp3, hbomberguy
Life as a Bokoblin: A Zelda Nature Documentary, Monster Maze
optional: Braindump on the History of Let's Plays, slowbeef
unit 2: what like it's hard? - intro to challenge narratives
Chapter 26: Games as Narrative Play: Two Structures for Narrative Play, Rules of Play
A different kind of challenge run: Minimalist 100% (BOTW), Wolf Link
Surviving 100 Days on Just Dirt, Mogswamp
Can You Beat DARK SOULS III with Only Firebombs, the Backlogs
Is it Possible to Beat Super Mario 3D World while permanently crouching?, Ceave Gaming
The Pacifist Challenge - Beating Hollow Knight Without Collecting Soul [CHALLENGE] - Sample
optional: How to 100% Snowpeak Ruins in under 15 minutes, bewildebeest
unit 3: nelly you don't understand, i AM the narrative - form and function
The Future of Writing about Games, Jacob Geller
Can You Beat GRIME Without Weapons?, the Backlogs
Mushroom Kingdom Championships, Ceave Gaming
My Life as a Barber in Hitman 2, MinMax (Leo Vader)
MyHouse.WAD - Inside Doom's Most Terrifying Mod, PowerPak
optional: Mega Microvideos, Matthewmatosis
the theme and structure is mostly intended to introduce at least one critical or historically contextual work followed by examples of the type of narrative in question.
in unit 1, this is the idea of "How do people talk about their own experiences in the context of YouTube and playing video games?" across three rather different kinds of documentaries. unit 2 is intended to take that lens of who is telling what tale and dial in on challenge running, where i first noticed the way some videos turn the story of overcoming a challenge into its own narrative that is distinct from but related to the narrative events of the game itself. unit 3 circles back to the bigger picture with a variety of examples that, to me, are maximally metanarrative, the emergent story of the player-narrator now functionally replacing the game's embedded narrative.
bonus unit: broken narratives
Glitch & the Grotesque at the MLA, Sylvia Korman
Watching time loop movies to escape my time loop, Leo Vader
The Stanley Parable, Dark Souls, and Intended Play, Folding Ideas
Breaking Madden, Jon Bois
The TRUTH about the Pizzaplex in FNAF: Security Breach, AstralSpiff
this one is highly underdeveloped, but i'd love to work out something more robust building on randomizer challenges that produce intentionally bizarre, semi-ironic "lore," and bois-esque endeavors to break games so hard the story itself crumbles. but that's really out of scope so i'm just including the links to things i couldn't bear to get rid of. more rambling abt the challenge runs I chose under the cut.
Challenge runs represent one of the most obvious places to start, due to being extremely plentiful and having a hook that makes a "here's how I did X thing in Y video game" format almost unavoidable. Minimalist 100% is an underrated and sweet straightforward example that I mostly include as a baseline for reporting-out style narrative; here are the facts, here's what happened, this is the thing that it is. Mogswamp's 100 Days on Just Dirt is similar in style, but the physical measuring of days is a delightful and, more importantly, external narrative device.
Now oriented, we get a taste of Ceave Gaming's narrative approach to Mario challenges with the no-crouching run, and while we still aren't at the degree of player-characters being constructed for the narrative's sake, the spirited belief in crouching sets the stage for other rhetoric in more extreme cases we'll see later.
The Backlogs' entire body of work qualifies here, but GRIME is the strongest inspiration for putting this list together. I include the DS3 firebombs run because what was initially a factual description of how his wife's use of firebombs inspired him to play differently in the original DS1 firebombs run has developed into full-blown multi-game narrative arc with the Firebomb Goddess (his wife, who also voices the character) compelling his in-game character to achieve his destined quest. Grime takes that even further,
In-Game Documentaries
I include Life as a Bokoblin mostly as a contrast to My Life as a Barber - there is a level of fictionalization and roleplay involved in the Zelda in-game documentary that highlights exactly what I want to single out when I am talking about metanarrative, the story about a story.

Dogman, how do you write SO WELL!?!? I love all your characters and I need to know what/where you find inspo from...
Ha. Every writer is just someone who apes the creative processes of their inspirations. For video game writing specifically, there's two answers for me.
Toby Fox is always gonna be a huge inspiration for me. I've written plots and characters before and had to abandon ideas after realizing I'd accidentally written part of UT again. Even some of the ideas I used were undeniably inspired by UT in a subconscious way and ofc, I included several explicit references to UT in my last series. Toby's a very clever guy who likely pays very close attention to the art he consumes and tries to figure out how to maximize how much his work connects with his audience. Whatever his process is, it works.
The other answer is a lil funnier: Scott Cawthon, but specifically the legend, not the man. For context: Back in the earlier days of the FNaF fandom, people had a hyper-inflated view of Scott Cawthon's writing skills that largely came from how little of a presence he had back in those days. In the vacuum of Scott actually explaining his own process in detail, people got caught up in his genuinely creative way of hiding exposition in his games using cryptid and (then) unexpected methods, and a narrative formed (one that he's since refuted.)
While he never implied it tmk, fans broadly believed that he constructed these sweeping and complex narratives with tons of cohesive moving parts, with the games essentially acting like the mere tip of his lore iceberg. People even thought he wrote so much that he had whole games worth of lore outlined from the beginning! In the first Dawko interview he gave, he clarified that this wasn't the case and explained roughly what his process was (basically just outlining rough theme ideas + aesthetics for future titles.)
However, that legend made younger-me's mind run wild and any time I wrote a story, it became very difficult for me to not keep writing down ideas while completing the grunt work that followed me finishing my scripts. When I finished DSaF 1, I already had DSaF 2's draft written and by the time 2 was done, I had enough lore for a 3rd game on paper (and a lot more stuff that I didn't use.) By the time three was out, I had pages upon pages of unused concepts/story ideas and more or less just had to decide to call it quits or else I'd be pumping out entries forever!
That's why if you go back to those older games, there's references that directly refer to future plot-points in pretty casual/easy to miss ways. (Like Henry's mention in DSaF 1, Dave being heartless in DSaF 2, Jack being soulless in 1, and even Blackjack being Jack's soul in 2. Most of 3's major plotpoints are implied somewhere in 2 and some of 2's in 1.)
DT is much the same. By the time I finished writing it, I had fairly detailed drafts for arcs for each of the characters, some early material ended up getting completely recontextualized (and even modified in small ways to not conflict with the wider ideas I came up with.)
I get really into writing my stories/characters and I always wonder exactly how things ended up where they are, what characters think about but don't say, etc etc. This is why I have an obscene amount of Crown lore that I have very little to do with rn (since he impacted the whole world so deeply.)
This extra stuff also includes plenty of sequel material ideas, though I didn't think I'd even get a chance to use them since DT performed pretty meagerly before the big release and I was expecting to have to move onto something new. Though it turned out that Scott didn't actually write his games this way (by his own admission), it's the correct answer for what my core writing inspiration for writing game narratives is.
Hope this helps!

Yeeeeah. The other picture. I saw two bears across two entirely different game franchises and went "Lol wouldn't it be funny if they were related?" to nobody but myself. I'm sure Bobby and Freddy are offended by my specism. Then I started to take the silly idea kinda seriously? Then over thought it. I did base Bobby's pizza uniform on the FNAF movie costume.
So yeah Freddy Fazbear is Bobby's dad in my AU. Freddy Bonafazio is his real name. People usually shorten their last name to 'Fazio which eventually turned into Fazbear. Its a local thing.
Tumblr media
I'm being bad and only focusing on one parent (Like Scott Cawthon) Fred is the owner of a humble pizzeria on the island known as Teddy Paw Cay. A successful partnership with Play Co. allowed him to sell their their toys as prizes. He comes from a long line of roboticists and designed his own mascots and animatronics, some of which are even produced at Play Co.
Tumblr media
Bobby loves her dad and she means the world to him. Freddy has dedicated his life to the entertainment and happiness of children as Bobby's love for him and her friends gives him seemingly endless inspiration. But one strange day the magical toy factory in the valley was closed down and abandoned, seemingly overnight.
Tumblr media
Without the toy factory, Freddy struck out to find a new business partner on the mainland. A very laid back raccoon-dog type lad with a hand in many businesses. He's kind of mysterious yet friendly! Although Bobby realizes later on that her father began to change in some ways after their partnership began.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately this partnership meant Bobby had to move away from the island. Alone and without friends, she was immediately smitten with one of Nook's nephews though her feelings were not reciprocated. He eventually warms up to her and her strong cuddly warm bear hugs even if he doesn't want to show it out right.
Note: Tim's comment is from their first meeting and Bobby's first time on the mainland. An attempt to streamline the "canon" Smiling Critters with my AU where everyone wears clothes. So one day in every little critter's life, they wake up and realize: "Hey clothes are cool. I wanna try some on!" Before then, little critters usually scurry around wild and fancy free, even running around on all fours sometimes, basically showing more animal like behavior, in very cute ways. As they grow up they start acting more like "people" and there are shops dedicated to little critters trying on an array of outfits. Discovering themselves and their tastes. Tim thinks he is "all that" and wouldn't be caught dead with no clothes, Bobby just hasn't gotten around to that yet.
Also experimenting with a possible eye style with Bobby.

Five Nights at Freddy's Hospital AU Writing prompts:
1. Animatronic Doctors and Nurses
After a freak accident, you're admitted to a hospital where all the staff are animatronics. Each one has a specific specialty: Freddy as a surgeon, Chica as a nurse, Bonnie as a therapist, and Foxy in charge of emergency care. You soon realize they have an unsettling way of "treating" patients. Can you escape before your "treatment" begins?
2. The Midnight Shift
You’re the new night shift nurse at Freddy Fazbear's Hospital for Animatronic Injuries. The hospital runs like a normal one during the day, but at night, the animatronics become strange, following you through the halls. Can you survive the shift and uncover the secret about the patients?
3. Possessed Medical Equipment
Strange things happen at Fazbear Hospital, especially with the medical equipment. The X-ray machine shows images of animatronics, the heart monitor beeps in eerie rhythms, and the surgical tools sometimes move on their own. The hospital seems alive, and it wants something from you.
4. A Mysterious Patient
A new patient is brought into the hospital’s restricted ward, heavily bandaged and unconscious. Rumor has it that they’re an animatronic, but their file says they were human. As part of the night staff, you’re tasked with watching over them. One night, you hear them whisper your name.
5. Animatronic Rehabilitation
After years of malfunctioning and being hostile, the animatronics from Fazbear’s Pizzeria are sent to Fazbear Psychiatric Hospital for rehabilitation. You’re the only human nurse assigned to their care. They claim they aren’t crazy—just misunderstood. But every time you let your guard down, something terrifying happens.
6. Infected by the Virus
A virus spreads through the hospital, infecting both human staff and animatronics alike. The symptoms are different for each, with humans becoming aggressive and animatronics behaving in strange, almost human ways. You’re immune to the virus, but that makes you a target—by both groups.
7. Haunted Pediatric Wing
The pediatric wing of Fazbear Hospital is said to be haunted by the spirits of missing children, and the animatronic toys in the playroom are acting strange. As the new pediatrician, you start hearing laughter in the middle of the night, and some of the toys seem to move when you aren’t looking.
8. The Therapy Program
Glamrock Bonnie has been reprogrammed as a therapy bot for patients with PTSD and anxiety. However, during your sessions, you begin to feel like you’re the one being manipulated. Bonnie’s behavior becomes more unsettling, asking personal questions about your past, and you begin to wonder if this "therapy" is more dangerous than healing.
9. Underground Lab
Beneath the hospital is a secret lab where failed animatronic experiments are kept. One day, you accidentally stumble upon it during your rounds. The animatronics aren’t dead—they’re waiting. And now that you’ve seen them, they aren’t letting you leave.
10. The Visiting Hours
Patients complain about strange visitors that come during the night—dark figures resembling animatronics but with glowing red eyes. The hospital denies any late-night visits, but you’ve seen the shadows. What do these "visitors" want from the patients, and why do they seem to linger near you?
11. Animatronics in the ICU
After a devastating incident at Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex, several employees are rushed to the ICU of a nearby hospital. However, as they recover, strange things begin happening at night—flickering lights, odd noises, and glimpses of animatronics wandering the halls. Are they hallucinations, or is something sinister lurking?
12. The Pediatric Ward
The children in the hospital's pediatric ward love the animatronics visiting to cheer them up during the day, but one night, one of the animatronics doesn't leave. The nurses dismiss the children's claims that Freddy is watching over them as nighttime paranoia. However, the night shift nurse soon discovers that not all animatronics are friendly.
13. Vanny's Surgical Game
Vanny poses as a new surgeon in the hospital and begins experimenting with new "procedures." Staff begin to disappear one by one, and the hospital staff must uncover the truth behind their new colleague before they become her next patient.
14. Possessed Life Support Systems
A patient in critical condition is hooked up to a state-of-the-art life support system. However, the machine begins to malfunction—blaring unsettling noises and playing Freddy’s jingle. When a nurse investigates, she finds evidence that the equipment has been hacked by none other than the twisted spirit of a former employee, now inhabiting the hospital’s systems.
15. Glamrock Bonnie’s Hidden Wing
While working a late shift, a security guard stumbles upon an old, forgotten wing of the hospital that isn’t on the blueprints. Inside, they find animatronic parts scattered among outdated medical equipment. As they try to leave, they realize they're not alone—Glamrock Bonnie, who had disappeared from the Pizzaplex, is hiding there for reasons unknown.
16. The Night Shift Experiment
The hospital staff on the night shift are aware of strange new patients being admitted—patients whose charts are suspiciously blank. Each one has vague connections to the Fazbear Entertainment franchise. As the night progresses, the staff start encountering disturbing apparitions of animatronics and feel an unsettling presence as if they are being watched…or hunted.
17. Springtrap in the Morgue
After a series of brutal accidents at Fazbear locations, several bodies are brought to the hospital’s morgue. Unbeknownst to the staff, one of the bodies is housing the vengeful spirit of Springtrap. Strange occurrences start happening in the morgue—body bags are ripped open, and a decaying animatronic figure begins moving.
18. Vanessa’s Recovery
After a near-fatal accident, Vanessa is taken to the hospital for recovery. As she drifts in and out of consciousness, she sees a white bunny mask hovering over her bed and hears whispers urging her to act. Is Vanny trying to break free, or is something even darker at play?
19. Possessed Equipment
The medical equipment in the hospital begins to behave strangely, with heart rate monitors playing the music from Freddy Fazbear's band and X-ray machines showing shadowy animatronic figures inside patients. A few staff members notice, but when they try to speak out, they are met with dismissals or disappearances.
20. Freddy's Therapy Session
A hospital psychologist is assigned to work with a patient who claims to be haunted by memories of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. As the psychologist delves into the patient's history, they realize that these memories aren't just psychological scars—they're signs of something much more real and dangerous.

Hello! If you're still doing the ask game- (and i don't wanna ask anything that may be potentially spolierly)
So here's what I'd wanna ask:
💭 - what inspired you to come up with this au?
And
🌻 - Who are your favorite FNAF characters, aside from the DCA?
Oooh, so, I wrote GITM because I really wanted to read a story where there were multiple dca but that didn't exist yet, and also, because I really wanted to tell soleil's story. I love hopepunk and my ideas gradually span out of control with more and more characters swirling around the man theme of finding reasons to live and found family and then suddenly I was like, well shit, guess I'm writing a 3million word epic.
My fave fnaf character after the dca is unapologetically glamrock chica, followed by Michael!

I just had an urge to make my own designs/redesigns on TSE charlie and henry (ofc it's them), so feel free to read my notes/general character designs I had about them! (a little messy, but whatever)
also thought that drawing them with my designs from Hidden Hands AU would be a fun little compare and contrast!! (as my FNAF AU is more game-universe adjacent but still have a few of the novel elements such as Aunt Jen = Jennifer Emily, etc. Tbh I generally treat the FNAF novels and games as NOT the same universes at all, they're completely separate universes in my mind, I feel like it makes the fandom's interpretations a lot more creative/interesting in my opinion since there's really "no canon" universe, I mean we have THREE canons to work with now come on xD)
TSE Character Design notes and my own ramblings below the cut! I mostly just relied on the book descriptions of them and nothing much else other than my own inspiration gathering from 2000s fashion/horror games/media.
TSE charlie character design notes: in the novels' description, TSE charlie had frizzy hair and it was light brown. I found it strange that the graphic novel design overlooked that, so I had to add that in (nothing wrong with charlie's design, I actually quite like TFC Charlie). anyway, my TSE charlie design wears a patchwork denim because I thought it'd give her a little bit more character (and I like the symbolism of patchwork for her - being a person that Henry stitched up together with memories, etc etc. Although I don't like the TSE Charlie = robot twist, it just kinda grew on me) I also wanted her to have a 2000s horror protagonist vibe - although most of the characters I looked at for reference/inspiration had short skirts, so I did a "skirt-like" vibe with her tying TSE henry's flannel to her waist. I like the idea that she kept something of a memento from her father's stuff with her :]
TSE henry notes: his pants are pajamas. man is the ABSOLUTE face of depression. also wanted him to have not seen better days and really look like he's just wallowing in his basement with greying hairs and wrinkles and eyebags and definitely hasn't gone out in weeks, probably a month or so. also thought that glasses would suit him nicely - and I thought him having a long-sleeved flannel and his fit makes him look pretty much from the 2000s/Y2K era. Personally I feel like TSE Henry looked too plain and a problem I had that I had while reading the graphic novel is that they tended to make William and Henry look similar (I straight up thought that one William scene with Elizabeth's memory was Henry. That's how ungodly confused I was) which made it really look uninteresting to me, so I tried my best to make his design describe him a little better.
If you've read this far, thanks so much for reading this! It's just a little fun character design exercise I did and it was really fun having some creative freedom with these two characters!
