I have mixed feelings about the Netflix reboot and I sat down to rewatch the original series. It moved me to tears instantly! I also missed seeing Momo's shenanigans, so of course I had to draw the tiny lemur :D

Absolutely delighted to learn that flying lemurs exist.

Look at these sentient blankets!

Look at those big eyes! And the little baby!!!

And they look like goofy demons swooping around at night.

These guys are great, 10/10 animal design.

This is a commission I did a few weeks ago for the one, the only, Michaela Murphy, voice actress for Toph Beifong!

Long story short, I was tabling at a Sci-Fi Valley Con in PA, she was a celebrity guest, multiple people got turtleducks they bought from me signed by her to the point that she came LOOKING FOR ME, found me, and commissioned these hybrid animals. He's just a silly boy

This sleeping beauty is a colugo, a Philippine flying lemur, found in Southeast Asia. Colugos have an extension of their skin called a patagium that they use for controlled gliding from higher to lower locations in the trees. Image credit: Hendy Mp.
