Kindhearted Fluffykawa Yuta

During the release event of his new mini album ‘Love Songs’, Furukawa personally handed the Tokuten post card to the participants.

One fan was incredibly nervous, and said “good evening!” to Furukawa, even though it was noon. In order not to make her feel embarrassed, Furukawa replied “good evening” with a smile.

During the radio show RADIOiNEWS the fan wrote to Furukawa to thank him for his kindness, to which he replied: “don’t mention it, you went through the trouble to come all the way to meet me, so it does not matter what time it was, right? I am grateful to you. Thank you.”

Yuta has really different aura that I can't put my finger on it. He gives you that strange feeling like you are safe with him but also you must protect him because he's worth that protection. And of course the other feelings that I don't know how to describe... When I look at the other famous people I don't feel like this. It's really confusing.

What if Yuta also thinks Ciel as a pancake? That would explain the hunger in Sebastian's eyes. Yuta's logic be like; Ciel=Food Food=Pancake Pancake=Ciel

A compilation of a few episodes of the Prince of Sweets🥞🍨

(Before we start, in Japan there is still a LOT of prejudice against men who like sweets.)

Okazaki Hiroki:

“A man with grey nails a man’s black shirt, and a man with long blond hair also wearing a man’s black shirt sit down.

Furu: Please give me an Uji Matcha Kintoki shaved ice without the mochi and azuki beans. And could you add condensed milk on top?

Employee: The condensed milk is included, sir.

Oka: Ah, he meant whether you could add extra condensed milk on top.

Furu: Yiis.

Enter the shaved ice

Furu: (Big smile) Something too amazing for words came (laughs). This is bound to be delicious.

Oka: I‘ll take a photo of you

Furu: (Deadpan)”

“For Der Tod I used to paint my nails grey every day. But I had the feeling that using nail polish remover is really bad for my nails, so I just left it on and only repainted my nails when the colour started to crumble.

Once I went to the store with my grey nails, and when the register clerk saw my nails, she very clearly showed disgust on her face, and I was... actually pretty hurt by that. I have tried black for Der Tod, and if a man wears black nail polish, people seem less bothered by that, and might justify the nail polish with something like: “oh, he is probably a rock or a metal singer.” I was sometimes asked that question when I played Sebas.

For Der Tod however, black just didn’t work for me. Grey is indeed a pretty disgusting nail colour, but I chose grey because I wanted to make sure I didn’t look actually alive, so I stuck with grey.

But I just really want my sweets, so now I make sure to turn my palm up to make sure people don’t see my nails when interacting with them.”

“So I was talking about my disgusting grey nails, right? But I also love my pancakes, and even though I am sure nobody would actually look at me, I still don’t quite have the courage to go into a pancake store. I still do it though, courage or not (laughs). But seeing a 32 year old man wearing all black with grey nails, sitting in the corner of a pancake store with nothing but my pointy teeth bared from underneath my hat as I am smiling like the Cheshire cat, that is indeed pure horror!”

(Son, it honestly has nothing to do with your nails if you ask me. But if you’re going to sit in a store looking like this⇊, and be smiling like the Cheshire cat, people WOULD stare at you.)

Furu: “I had an epiphany, the ‘pan’ in ‘pancake’ is not the ‘pan’ for bread**, but the ‘pan’ of ‘frying pan’! Did you know?

Sasa: Eeehhhh!?!?

Furu: I’m serious.

Sasa: You didn’t know?

Furu: ......”

**TLN: ’pan’ is Japanese for bread, a loanword from French - ‘pain’

“I think I have always liked sweets, but ever since I was put on a no-sugar diet by my doctor, I came to realise just how much I love sweets. Humans only truly treasure something once it is taken from them. And I have completely become a slave of my own gluttony, ah, humans are hopeless.

I feel really embarrassed in truth now with my grey nails, but I just couldn’t restrain myself anymore, so I still went to this crepe shop and queued up, and even asked for extra cream on top. “Ah~~ I am such a happy man,” just slipped out of my mouth when I got my cream.”
