tbh i thought the implication was just that you look through the petals themselves when they're rain-damp and mostly clear to see the ghosts

Also good! I don't know how big the petals are and it's a little strange to be holding flowers to your eye level so it's nice to have options. Now I'm wondering if there's a way to like. Make a thin film with the pressed petals or something. Someone with more flowercraft know how might have more ideas.

7 Ways to Dry Rose Petals Without Sunlight

Here are 7 effective ways to dry rose petals without sunlight:

Air Drying Indoors 🌹

Spread rose petals on a clean surface like a tray lined with parchment paper.

Place them in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.

Turn the petals occasionally for even drying.

Microwave Drying 🌺

Place rose petals between two paper towels.

Microwave on low or medium power for 30-60 seconds.

Check petals regularly and repeat until they are completely dry.

Using a Dehydrator 🍂

Arrange rose petals on the trays of a dehydrator.

Set the temperature to 95–115°F (35–46°C).

Let them dry for 2-4 hours, checking periodically.
