Sam & Nick - Downtown Toronto Wedding

Sam and Nick’s downtown Toronto wedding at La Marquette was such an amazing day to be a part of. We are so lucky to call these two wonderful people our friends so we couldn’t wait to be a part of it all. Andrew met Sam and Nick in University. Andrew lived next door to Sam and then he ended up living with Nick later on so he has seen their relationship grow from the very beginning. Having the opportunity to create these memories of such a milestone in their lives was such a pleasure and we had so much fun celebrating with their family and friends.

These two planned their wedding in the most unique and beautiful way. Most importantly, they planned it in a way that was meaningful to them as a couple. Advice that we can not stress enough. They began their wedding the day before with just the two of them, sharing their vows privately. The following day they decided to have their official ceremony privately as well. They met each other on the Balcony where the girls were getting ready and this is where they saw each other for the very first time. They were then greeted by Irene Kaye, who took them through the legalities and their papers were signed. They were now officially married! This then allowed them to have their public ceremony just as they wanted it, guided by their good friend, Sara Hennessy. Sara lead all of us through a beautiful ceremony celebrating the couples love, outside on the patio of La Marquette in Old Toronto. We could not imagine a more perfect way for these two to begin their lives as husband and wife!

After a champagne toast to the couple, everyone headed upstairs to the reception. Grace from Express Yourself Weddings & Events had transformed the bright space into a colourful greenhouse. Flowers and candles covered the tables and the late spring sun flooded the room. Everyone then made their way to their seats to watch the married couple share their first dance. Thoughtful speeches carried on while delicious food was shared with good company. We feel so very lucky to have been the ones to document these memories and we wish them all our love in this new adventure of marriage!

Takeover event showcases Four Seasons creativity and artistry in unexpected downtown Toronto location, marking first in a global series

With all eyes on Toronto during the city’s annual film festival, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts staged a surprise four-day experience highlighted by a one-night only celebration of artistry and imagination in the heart of the city.

The event marked the launch of Four Seasons Pop Down, a new global series of immersive experiences that will bring Four Seasons to unexpected settings all over the world, transforming unusual spaces and creating one-of-a-kind events and experiences.

Taking over a vacant retail space in downtown Toronto, the brand’s first Pop Down brought together a team of Four Seasons artisans from four continents, each presenting an interactive expression of their craft. Showcasing their passion and imagination, Four Seasons award-winning mixologists, chefs and creative masters transformed a raw, concrete space into an unexpected journey through the world of Four Seasons.

A garden oasis in the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district, the first Four Seasons Pop Down was conceived in dramatic contrast to the event space’s concrete walls and surroundings, combining digital mapping with culinary masterpieces, large floral installations, and a floor-to-ceiling herb garden.

Eschewing the red carpet, guests including celebrities, business leaders, media, filmgoers and world travellers entered through an archway of draping orchids designed by world renowned florist Jeff Leatham, in a display reminiscent of his signature installations at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, and Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
