Finally back at my parents. Gonna lay in a soft western bed and binge watch new season of heartstopper and not speak or interact with another person for more than 20 minutes

#I seriously deserve an award for being in essentially constant interact since last Wednesday to today #and this is my Second Wednesday the 10th mind you #my Tokyo flight left at 11am on the 10th and then after a whole flight across the world #I landed at jfk at 10am on the 10th :/

Hey I'm back after a month vacation thru Japan! I was so focused on the trip that I feel like I was living under a rock cuz what you mean the last saga of epic is coming in less than a week? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA IM NOT READY also im so sorry, I kinda said I would draw during spare times on my trip but turns out the only times I was free were the times that I was asleep lol

Now I’m staring at a mountain of unfinished drafts and requests I’ve been meaning to work on. I’m so sorry for ghosting y’all, I'm gonna go back to posting drawings soon enough.

The thing about a 7am flight is that I had to wake up at 4am. And the thing about waking up at 4am is that I was so scared I wouldn’t that I woke up at least once an hour instead.

#I am so tired #and the cab ride to jfk was an all time awful one #you know that feeling where you’re fine and then a second later you’re 100% sure you’re gonna puke?#I didn’t puke but I don’t think I would have made it another minute #thank you smell. thank you incredibly jerky driving.#please god let this be an easy flight #anyway New York I love you but I think I’m ready to go home #and see my cat #and my mom whose been there all week living her best la life

06/14—06/17: saul takes a trip to manhattan.

on friday evening, saul takes a six pm american airlines flight from chicago o'hare to jfk. he spends saturday visiting old friends and his twin brother. on sunday, he attends his college roommate's daughter's wedding. he returns on monday at ten am with plenty of time for some late afternoon work meetings. while he's away, micah takes care of his cats, smokey the bear and marmalade.

I guess one good thing about my area is living near five ‘major’ cities, thus six international airports, and yet, all of them are expensive as fuck for plane tickets.

#personal #I counted H*rrisburg as a major city even though it’s not and the ‘international’ airport that it has.#Even though the only ‘international’ flight they do is Toronto. And it’s a tiny airport.#But no seriously: I know it’s because of COVID and the aftermath but it’s so expensive to fly. Like I think even more then it was before.#Living a wee drive away from NYC is wonderful but I do really want to fly out of JFK or LaGuardia?

I am slowly coming to terms with my new flight patterns but I hate Terminal 4 of JFK so much I would fight god. It is just SO obnoxiously loud from all possible angles and at all registers of sound, like--I don’t enjoy airports or flying in general, but usually you just discorporate and endure it. THIS PLACE IS UNBEARABLE

#it is february and i have already spent 13 hours at this airport #i haven't been to nyc in years why do i live in jfk #still better than ord though because as much as i hate this terminal the flights have been fine #when is that ever true of ord (never)#this is an airplane hate account #dusty crophopper is the only valid airplane

#one of the funniest things about traveling west is how early in the day you get there #like my flight takes off at 9:30am here but I’ll be at jfk by 4:30pm #even though I have a 5.5 hour flight to paris a 4.5 hour layover and then #8 hours and 40 mins from paris to nyc
