Understanding Different Types of Residential Areas in Real Estate.?
When considering real estate, it’s essential to understand the different types of areas included in the overall space of a residential house or plot. These various zones contribute to the overall appeal, value, and functionality of a property. In this blog, we’ll explore the most common types of residential areas, helping you understand what’s included when you purchase a home or a plot. If you’re exploring Flats in Kaza offered by amaravaticonstructions, this knowledge can be incredibly useful as you make a purchase decision.
1. Built-Up Area
The built-up area refers to the actual area covered by the building, including the walls, balconies, and utility spaces. This is usually around 10-15% more than the carpet area. When looking at Flats in Kaza for Sale by amaravaticonstructions, understanding the built-up area is crucial, as it provides a more comprehensive idea of the space you’re purchasing. For instance, if the built-up area is 1,200 sq. ft., the usable area (carpet area) will likely be slightly less than that.
2. Carpet Area
The carpet area is the actual usable space within the property, including rooms like the bedroom, living room, and kitchen. However, it excludes areas covered by walls, balconies, and terraces. This area is essential as it represents the functional space within a home. For those interested in Flats for sale in Kaza by amaravaticonstructions, the carpet area will give a clearer picture of how much of the apartment you can actually use.
3. Super Built-Up Area
This area is the sum of the built-up area and common areas like lobbies, staircases, elevators, and corridors. Often termed as a “saleable area,” it includes a proportionate share of the building’s common areas. Super built-up area can be higher than the built-up area, often by about 25-30%. Properties such as Flats in Kaza from amaravaticonstructions list this value, as it shows the share of common amenities available to each resident.
4. Plot Area
For those interested in plots rather than built homes, the plot area refers to the complete piece of land you’ll own. This area is typically larger than what you would use to build your home and often includes setbacks and margins as per local building regulations. Plot areas provide flexibility for future expansions, landscaping, and more.
5. Open and Garden Area
This includes green spaces within a residential complex, like gardens, parks, and playgrounds. For projects like Flats in Kaza for Sale by amaravaticonstructions, these areas provide residents with relaxation and recreational spaces, enhancing the quality of life. Open areas are particularly valuable for families and individuals who prioritize a balance of indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Conclusion
Understanding the different types of residential areas in real estate helps potential buyers make informed choices. Each type has a unique impact on the livable and aesthetic value of a property. By examining these areas—built-up, carpet, super built-up, and open spaces—you’ll have a better grasp of the value offered by properties like the Flats in Kaza from amaravaticonstructions. Whether you’re looking for a ready-to-move-in apartment or a plot to build your dream home, knowing these distinctions will ensure you find a property that meets your needs and lifestyle.

------------Complete!------------
★ • ° ` — AKAZA:
The night was cold enough to say that you felt like you were naked, standing in the middle of the snow when you literally had a jacket embracing your figure.
Today’s event to say the least, was exhausting. Especially when your lover, Akaza, swore that he’d watch today’s race, but he didn’t come due to an emergency.
Speaking of which, as you looked up from your phone, your eyes adjusting at the dim surrounding for a minute, before finally seeing Akaza in his black car, smiling at you and eyes that literally said “sorry”.
You sighed in relief as the cold night is about to end once you’ve step foot into his car, the warmness will now embrace you.
“Sorry, I wasn’t able to watch today’s race. How’d it go? Did my darling ace it again?” He softly chuckled as he patted your head, whilst starting to rev up the car.
“Mm. I did. It was exhausting. How about you? What happened?” You asked back, as you placed your hand on his thigh.
“Eh, nothing. Just the boss telling me I needed to go to USA for another match.” Akaza answered nonchalantly.
“Wha- you’ll go...?” The worry and sadness in your eyes was visible enough for Akaza’s nonchalant face turn into something of a frown.
“Of course not. I declined the offer. I’m never leaving you, ever.” Your sadness immediately faded, as happiness filled your face that made Akaza chuckle of how obvious it is.
“But... won’t it affect your career? I mean — MMA fighters from USA are usually big shots nowadays..” Your concern comes back again, hesitation filling your mind completely, afraid he might change his mind.
“I’m a big shot myself. Besides, if they’re that desperate, they’d be more than willing to get over here.” It only made you chuckle, remembering just how stubborn your beloved could be.
~~~~~
Reaching your home, you and Akaza shared dinner, bath, and a bed.
This whole month was a busy month, so you guys never get to have the time to do it.. But, that doesn’t stop you.
“‘Kaza, um.. it’s been long, you know... that we uh.. did it..” You fiddled and intertwined your fingers with redness that showed your embarrassment.
Akaza, too, figured it out naturally, his cheeks tinged with light pink too. Akaza wanted too, but he remembers; a scar that lays flat on his abdomen.
It was a newly wound he got a week ago, during training. It was safe to atleast say; that he was embarrassed and ashamed of it.
He is a big shot MMA fighter, after all. He is a veteran and a pro in this field of sports. So, having to just such a mistake slip that easily is just beyond failure.
You could see the hesitation in his eyes, perhaps you thought he was getting a little shy about it as for how long you guys couldn’t do it.
So, you initiated the first move: you climbed up the bed, and took his shirt off. It caught him off guard, but he stopped you midway. But it was too late. You had already seen the scar lying atop his abdomen.
Akaza felt ashamed, wanting the bed to swallow him up. But in the middle of it all, your finger that traced his scar smoothly... made him think otherwise.
“Akaza... are you... ashamed of this?” The ticklish feeling of having your finger run over his scar multiple times comforted him.
He nodded shyly, not expecting this to happen. What he did not expect more, was how many scars you gained over the lapse of one month, as you undressed in front of him.
His eyes widened, as there were no scars before on your chest, stomach, and waist.
“I’ve also gained a lot of them.. hehe.” You smiled sheepishly, embarrassed, but at the same time, proud at the result of all your hardworks.
Akaza too, traced the outline of your scars. They were bigger than his. He looked at you with curiousity in his eyes, why would someone as good and best as you have this much scars.
“I may be good and all but... I’m still improving. It hurts, but these scars remind me of my journey of being here now. After all, without these, and you, I wouldn‘t be here and win today’s race.” Slowly, your arms snaked and wrapped around his neck, the so little space between the both of you was tempting to not close it in.
Maybe, having a scar wasn’t so bad at all. Especially when you both are matching with one of your scars laying atop your abdomen too.
“So... shall we continue now?”
★ • ° ` — KOKUSHIBO:
As the crowd went wild and cheered, you stood outside your car and waved at the people who love you so much.
As you were waving, you looked amongst the crowd and immediately found a certain black-haired color male with red tips. A smile crept up to your face, and your fans’ screams got louder and louder.
~~~~~
As you were in the locker room, you changed your clothes in front of the mirror. Upon taking off your top, you stopped midway as you just remembered how ugly your body looked.
You turned your back against the mirror, and immediately took off your bottom too.
You could never look at yourself the same way ever again, even after that accident. The scars on your back and stomach, served only as a failure. You’re the best, the top of all racers in the world. How can you allow a failure such as this...?
It’s beyond helping. Your body looked rotten from top to bottom. What would your fans think if they saw you like this? Would they cheer the same way as they did a while ago? Or would they change and look at you with disgust?
The slow forming pain on the tip of your finger as you traced the innumerable scars on your body, made you scrunch in disgust. What if Kokushibo were to see this? How would he react? After all, the both of you’ve ever only done it with lights off, as you feared he’d see this madness. What if he found out this was the main reason why? Would he still love you as he always did? Or would he turn his back around as your past lovers did?
It scares you to the brim that you’d be willing to plastic surgery every single inch of you. Maybe those ghastly, scary thoughts would fade — and he’d continue loving you, right? You’d be able to do it with the lights on, you’d finally get to take the shower together, or bathe at the beach freely with a bikini. Yes, that’s right. You have enough money for plastic surgery, you’ll only need to find a good surgeon, and you’ll no longer feel this way, right? Yes, you should-
“What’s taking you so long?” Your desperate thoughts were cut off, as you heard a voice. The voice you wish was never there.
Immediately, you turned around, facing the man you love, and feared. God, fuck. Why now? Why did he need to come in now? Talk about bad timing, he was looking at your body, your rotten scarred body.
Immediately, you turned your back on him, and covered your hideous body, causing you to face the mirror instead. “W-What are you doing here...?” The fear has started, it‘s starting to eat you up so badly, that you stuttered with nervousness, and shook in fear. He was not supposed to see you like this, god. Did you even lock the door? How could you forget? Anyone — not just Kokushibo, but anyone can come inside and see your hideous body, with the face of digust.
Kokushibo notices, maybe he even knows — that you’ve always feared this day to come. But does he even care? No. He doesn’t.
His keen, observant eyes have seen the fear everytime you look at him when you’re doing “it”. Everytime you do it, you always prefer to turn the lights off. Yet you feared brownouts or blackouts, as the darkness that lurks gives you nightmares.
He wraps his arms behind you, covering the scars on your body.
It took you aback, but the man had always loved you for who you might be, and who you were gonna be.
Your eyes watered. Then tears started to spill from your eyes. You were ashamed, and embarrassed.
How could you ever think of him like that?
That’s right... Kokushibo was never one to prefer looks over personality. He had always preferred you, no matter who you might be. No matter how rotten your body is, how scars covered all the inches of your body, and how you might change because of it.
But he never mind, because as long as it was still you, he would still be him, the one who loves you so much.
Kokushibo was never good with his words, so he’d shown it through his actions.
That night, the both of you didn’t sleep, as he had proved just how much he loved you, now with the lights on.
★ • ° ` — MUZAN:
You: 1 attachment sent You: muzieee i got a new scar😭😭👊👊 Zanzan: What happened? You: i accidentally fell off my bike😐😐 Zanzan: Bike? You: im trying biking, since DOUMA HERE WONT BELIEVE IK HOW TO DRIVE BUT NOT BIKE🤬🤬🤬 You: 1 attachment sent You: see that big ass scar? You: YEAHH THATS HIS FAULT Zanzan: Well Zanzan: That’s hot You: MUZAN WTF🤬🤬🤬
Muzan was your beloved, he was a businessman as well as a politician. His busy day and self could barely give you enough time in person. But he never fails to answer your messages in less than one second, even if he is a busy man.
For some reason, Muzan always adored and loved your scars, even if they looked horrid.
Last time you remembered, you look at your scars as a remembrance of failure and shortcomings. But thanks to him, pleasuring you every night he comes home, along with him pressing loving kisses against your scars, and him asking scar pictures of yours everytime he’s away.
That’s why, you could never look at your scars the same way again, for he loves them as much as he loves you, and as much as you love him.
a/n: i think i did muzan no justice here (his is WAY too short)

"You can think well, love well, sleep well, if you have dined well." 1/2
Terraveller experience: comfortable stay with great food and friends for company when I travelled to Spiti from 22.08.2024 to 04.09.2024 (14 days).
Our travel circuit: Mumbai > Chandigarh > Narkanda > Sangla > Tabo > Pin valley > Rangrik > Langza > Komic > Hikkim > Kaza > Chandratal > Manali > Delhi > Mumbai.
DAY minus 1 MUMBAI TO CHANDIGARH 22.08.2024: by train.
Tumblr media
The peanuts of Bharuch are famous for their bigger size and best flavour. We skipped the train meals to enjoy a Domino's pizza.
Tumblr media
DAY 0 CHANDIGARH 23.08.2024:
A fully furnished and fully AC 3-BHK flat with 2 master bedrooms booked via AirBnb.
Tumblr media
We experienced a paranormal activity here.
Tumblr media
Our evening snacks at Khanna's Nukkad Dhaba at Zirakpur.
Tumblr media
We enjoyed the dinner at P. Bhagat Tarachand at Zirakpur.
Tumblr media
DAY 1 CHANDIGARH TO NARKANDA via Shimla 24.08.2024:
We had breakfast at Bikanerwala in Zirakpur, Punjab near Chandigarh.
Tumblr media
We reported with Terraveler at 10 am. Our driver Mr. OmPrakash Thakur was a local himachali person from Mandi.
Tumblr media
Lunch was the Verma's home stay and restaurant, after crossing Simla.
Tumblr media
We sipped tea watching this gorgeous sunset while our tempo traveler refueled.
Tumblr media
After a long ride starting at 10 am in the morning, we reached our destination, narkanda at 8 pm and we all were relieved to get out of the vehicle. We checked in the Treeline cottages at Narkanda.
Tumblr media
Even when we were tired, I got my friends out under the dark open sky to observe the Milky Way and the constellations of Scorpio and Sagittarius.
Afterwards, we headed for the dinner at the restaurant of Treeline cottages.
Tumblr media
We had breakfast overlooking the apple orchards which are nestled between the tall and dense conifers on the slopes of the mountains.
Tumblr media
DAY 2 NARKANDA TO SANGLA 25.08.2024:
After visit to Rampur Bushahr palace, which didn't even provide the tourists with public convenience we bought some fruits at the local market. These apples are from Thanedar, the birthplace of apples in Asia. They were fresh, crunch and juicy.
Tumblr media
We then headed to this restaurant on the highway. The split curds were the highlight of the menu.
Tumblr media
We were always sightseing even while traveling in the vehicle. Tosh was informing us about the importance of the places we were passing by. Sometimes, we halted for photos too.
We reached Chitkul, the last or the first Indian village along the Indo-Tibetian border. Again we were facing the problem of public convenience and I went ahead to find washrooms for our group of 14 at Chitkul. The first restaurant denied us, even when we were ready to be their customers. The second restaurant welcomed us and provided us with a clean washroom. In all this search, I made a deal with the second restaurant that I will ensure 14 tea &/or snacks are ordered by our group. Now after getting refreshed, it was announced that we have a time limit of half an hour and everyone opted to sightsee in Chitkul. I ordered my tea and waited for it to be served and then many friends sat at the table. Even if we may not be all 14 at the restaurant, the number was healthy and I was happy to give back to the restaurant, who welcomed us for the loo-break. In this bargain, I lost the time to see Chitkul, but Tosh was gracious to me allow a walk in the village. In fact, he came and showed us the old village too! I was happy, that I didn't miss anything - the tea or the sights.
Tumblr media
Afterwards, we backtracked to Sangla. Here we were staying in Hotel Prakash and our meals were at Hotel Prakash regency, which is just opposite it.
Tumblr media
Our dinner at Hotel Prakash Regency.
Tumblr media
DAY 3 SANGLA to TABO 26.08.2024:
Breakfast here at Sangla was with a view of Kinnaur Kailash mountain, which is always shrouded in clouds.
Tumblr media
We moved ahead and reached the devil shoulder, Mt. Reo Purgyil - which overlooks the sangam or confluence of River Spiti and River Sutluj at a place called Khab. The sun was hot and so was the lunch at this roadside dhaba which was managed by the woman power of that village.
Tumblr media
Rajma Chawal and Chowmein noodles are the staple dishes of this region.
Tumblr media
After the sightseeing the Nako village and the lake, we reached Tabo and checked-in at Lari village at bungalow, Samdup Khangsar Homestay. The hosts of this place were warm and gracious local folks, who welcomed us in their family and ensured that we as their guests had a fabulous experience. We stargazed from terrace of this bungalow.
Tumblr media
Dinner at Tabo (photo is awaited).
DAY 4 TABO to PIN VALLEY 27.08.2024:
Breakfast at Lari's bungalow home stay.
Tumblr media
We had traditional breafast of Tibetian bread (phaley) with a dollop of butter, spicy green chutney and curds. The fresh apricots were complimentary from the host.
Tumblr media
We reached Dhankar Gompa and Tosh of Terraveller offered us a choice between a trek to an high altitude Dhankar lake and lunch at the restaurant of the monastery. Few of us opted to trek and the rest enjoyed the lunch of thukpa and Tibetian omelette with bottled gauva juice.
Tumblr media
Those who trekked to Dhankar lake had a lunch of fresh plums and scenery. 13 people and a box of plums, literally.
Tumblr media
After tea at the Dhankar gompa's restaurant, we restarted our journey to one of the remote regions of Spiti - Pin Valley. We reached Mudh village in the dark around 8 pm and were dead tired from the arduous journey. Nobody clicked photos here at Sonam Tara Home Stay at Mudh village as we all were tired. Also the dinner photos were skipped. But there is a priceless memory which had been shared by a friend. Kudos to Tosh bhai of Terraveller.
Tumblr media
DAY 5 PIN VALLEY to RANGRIK (near Kaza) 28.08.2024:
We woke up fresh and our breakfast was here opposite our home stay at Tara Traveller's cafe at Mudh, Pin valley.
Tumblr media
Kaza was on the menu. We explored it on foot and Tosh recommended Cafe Piti for lunch. Though the service was late, it was made up by the courteous staff and the taste of the food served. There were fossils on display at this restaurant.

the whole argument of “there was no official Palestine state” falls flat when you read history and realize the middle east was split into emirates (not uae) or kaza; each with its own emir ruling it, prior to the fall of the ottoman empire. each emir ruled over their designated emirate that consisted of cities and villages; and the residents of these villages have been there for millennials; some of them are descendants of nomadic tribes (who are also indigenous to the land) that settled down in these villages at some point in history.

EXTENDED CODEX: Tyrants
Overview
Tyrants, or otherwise known as Baalgar are native to the former Jekkadi city of Kaza-Dur, now a territory in Hell housing prisons for victims of Hell's machination, as well as the main source of soul extraction, long before the construction of Nekravol. Their ancestral home witnessed a siege by the Maykrs during the Jekkad-Maykr War, where the first Khan Maykr was felled in battle before being resurrected, thus forcing soldiers and the populace defending it to retreat. These warden-class fiends are exclusively male, and have to rely on companionship of mates from other similarly sized demon breeds to continue their existence.
Physical Traits
Ancient Baalgar were almost twice the height of their modern descendants, having pale, pinkish hide sported naturally occurring, armored carapaces. They had four small, beady eyes and a large, gaping maw, as well as a pair of sharp horns. Some members of these older generation of demons had blade-like bone structure, allowing them extra damaging and destructive attacks, allowing them to also summon moving walls of flame to corner and burn opponents. Present-day Tyrants, in comparison, are reduced to half in size, though they still tower over many other demon breeds. They possess tan hide, complete with a pair of curling, black horns and a two beady eyes set far apart from each other. They have a flat face with flush nostrils, and sets of sharp teeth with two tusk-like fangs protruding from the lower part of their lower canines. They lack split jaws and natural armored carapaces that their ancestors had.
Tyrants that are severely injured in battle receive reconstructive surgeries and cybernetic implants by cult scientists-- Most common being a hybrid cannon in place of a missing arm, a cybernetic pelvis and leg implant, and upper parts of their body (more prominently their now mostly missing abdomen) being connected to wiring that supports the stream of Hell-based energy.
Culture
Tyrants are often considered effectively strict, and if needed be, cruel prison wardens, as well as backup in case other demonic warriors fail to hold their battles. Their highly disciplined training does not only land their positions as just wardens for prisons-- They can be found where other demons need them, even if some would become extra muscle. It can be said that Tyrants rightfully earn much respect and fear from demons lower in rank within their societal structures.
Since all Tyrants are male, they often find mates in the form of female Barons of Hell, as they are the only known demon breed to be compatible in size. A Tyrant and a Baroness tends to be mates for life, for as long as either demon is still alive. If either mate dies permanently, the other shall mourn for their loss, and providing their dead with final respects before they either become celibate for the rest of their lives, or find another mate. Ironic, considering that death is often cheap to Demonkind, thanks to the existence of Mother Demons.
Only a Tyrant with his reproductive organs intact can produce young with his mate, with equal chances of having offspring of either breed.
Combat
Tyrants may be slow-moving and do not respond to threats as effectively as smaller, faster demons-- But they are otherwise formidable powerhouses. Without cybernetic modifications alone, Tyrants can summon energy weapons, most typically blades, to strike down opponents at close range. Their brothers who rise from injuries with cybernetic implants, however, are much deadlier. A Tyrant losing his arm can easily make do with an arm cannon replacement, which can shoot missiles and lasers, with the help of tracking guides.
Taking down a Tyrant in battle is more a team effort than anything, but even that proves difficult as these demons usually have advantages with cybernetic implants.

Valona
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Valona (definite Cordonian form: Avlona) is the largest city and a municipality in Cordonia. It is also the second largest port city of Cordonia, after Epidamnus. Geographically, it has a coastline on the northern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, the Adriatic and Ionian Sea, which forms the Bay of Valona.
History
Valona was founded as an ancient Greek colony in the 6th century BC by the name of Aulon, meaning “channel, glen”, and is continuously inhabited ever since. It became the seat of a bishopric on the V Century. In modern times, the city is the capital of Cordonia. It is where the Cordonian Declaration of Independence was proclaimed on 1799. It is also one of the most cultural and economically significant cities of southwestern Cordonia. Valona is home to Cordonia's second largest port, the Port of Valona.
Due to its strategic position on the Adriatic Sea, especially to the Bay of Valona, which forms a natural harbor, Valona was a significant place in classical antiquity for the trade by many peoples. Valona is considered as one of the oldest cities in Cordonia and the region. The city was founded by the ancient Greeks in the 6th century BC and named Aulōn. It is also one of several colonies on the Illyrian coast, mentioned for the first time by Ptolemy (Geographia III xii, 2). Other geographical documents, such as the Tabula Peutingeriana and Hierocles' Synecdemus, also mention it. The city was an important port of the Roman Empire, when it was part of the province Epirus Nova.
The city played a significant role in the conflicts during the 11th and 12th centuries between the Latin Norman Kingdom of Sicily, which established a Latin bishopric, and the Byzantine Empire.

Traditional Housing in La Berceuse
After it was captured by the Ottoman Empire in 1417, it became a sanjak centre in Rumelia Eyalet as Avlonya; and after coming under Venetian possession in 1690, the city was restored to the Turks in 1691, becoming a kaza of the Sanjak of Avlona in the vilayet (province) of Janina. The city had about 10,000 inhabitants; there was a Catholic parish, which belonged to the Archdiocese of Epidamnus. In the 16th century, it was an important center for Sephardi Jewish refugees from Spain and Portugal. During the early period of Ottoman rule, Valona became an international port centered on a high volume of trade between western Europe and the Ottoman state. In 1851 it suffered severely from an earthquake.
Geography and Climate

Valona is located in southern Cordonia. Most of the city lies on the Valona Flats, a narrow, plane strip of land, between the Bay of Valona, an inlet on the Adriatic Sea, and almost surrounded by the Ceraunian Mountains.  For this reason, the area is subject to mudslides during the rainy season.
The Port of Valona is closer in proximity than any other to the port of Bari, Apulia in southeastern Italy, and is just 70 nautical miles (130 km) from Salento's coasts. Sazan Island is nearby, strategically located at the entrance to the Bay of Valona.
The town is surrounded by gardens and olive groves. Valonia oak (Quercus macrolepis), the mass name for acorn cups obtained in the neighboring oak forests and (because of its chemical derivatives) used by tanners. One of the most panoramic routes of the Cordonian Riviera starts to the south of town stretching up to Agioi Saranda in southernmost Cordonia.
Economy
The city of Valona remains a major seaport and commercial centre, with a significant fishing and industrial sector. The surrounding region produces petroleum, natural gas, bitumen and salt. The city is also the location of important installations of the Cordonian Navy. It has grown in importance as an agricultural center with very large-scale planting of olive and fruit trees, and as a center of the food processing, oil and bitumen export industries. The surrounding district is mainly agricultural and pastoral, producing oats, maize, cotton, olive oil, cattle, sheep, skins, hides and butter. These commodities are exported.
Valona is a vibrant coastal city with a well-developed and modern housing infrastructure. The city offers a variety of residential areas ranging from the coast and going inland. Valona is divided into three economic zones.
The Austostrada 2 is part of Pan-European Corridor VIII and adjacent to the Adriatic Ionian Motorway, including a direct exchange with the National Road 8, 4.6 kilometres (2.9 miles) away.
The nation’s only airport, the Valona International Airport, is only 129 kilometres away from the city and is suitable for transportation of cargo and passengers. There is an existing railway infrastructure passing through the area. Valona has access to the Port of Epidamnus (120 kilometres (75 miles)) and the Port of Valona, the two largest ports in Cordonia.

The Land and Environmental Information is located in a flat, saline land, partially covered by Soda Forest. The area is suitable for industrial and environmentally friendly development. The Industrial development inside the zone eligible activities that can be developed are industrial, processing, commercial, goods storage, light industry, electronics, auto parts manufacturing and port related activities.
Tourism has become a major industry in recent years, with many hotels, recreational centers, and vast beaches. The city has a good view over the Bay of Valona, which is considered the frontier between the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea. The Island of Sazan is close-by, at the entrance to the bay. Italy is just 80 kilometres (50 miles) away. With 300 sunny days per year is a good location to stay for business or vacations. The bay offers good conditions for navigation at sea and anchorage of ships. Other attractions include food, wine, mountains and sports.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Went chasing waterfalls.
1/11 - 1/13
There had been some chatter before our program started about a side trip to Victoria Falls, but as the month went on the interest diminished. I still really wanted to go (I didn’t get my yellow fever vaccine for nothing!), and luckily so did another girl on my program, Zelma, so we made it happen. There were also going to be two citizens (people who have done a previous RY program) there, so we connected with them and planned to meet up. It was very last minute but we made it happen!
Zelma and I flew from Cape Town to Johannesburg, then on to Victoria Falls airport in Zimbabwe. The falls cuts the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe and there is an airport on each side to fly into for a visit (if we had done more research we would’ve flown into Livingstone Airport on the Zambian side since that’s where we were staying.. oops). Our first challenge of the trip was at customs in the airport. We knew the type of visa we had to get was a Kaza Visa, which allows entry into both countries for up to 30 days. We knew the amount it was supposed to be and got out enough rands to pay, but the agent tried to charge way more rands than it should’ve been (900 rand, or 64 U.S. dollars). So I said no I will pay with credit card, and he said the machine is too slow I need to pay cash, so I pushed back and said I didn’t have enough cash is there an ATM, and he said no but can your friend help you pay... eventually I just told him I have time to wait for the credit card machine (which didn’t take any longer than normal). He charged my card the equivalent of 50 U.S. dollars. Proof that he was trying to scam me into paying more cash, which probably gets pocketed. I’m sure a lot of tourists get caught in this trap. It’s tricky since it’s at airport customs so you wouldn’t think you’d get scammed, but I ran into the same type of scenario in Indonesia so I knew it was a thing. Anyways, we both got through with ease so that’s all that matters.
We took a taxi into town (also expensive.. $30 USD flat rate). Zelma and I finally felt like we were in Africa, unlike in Cape Town which is so westernized and international. I took in the sights: baboons and monkeys, women walking with bulging baskets on their heads, men biking with oversized baskets of fruits and goods. Our driver pulled over into a gas station to get us to try to pay with credit card on his friend’s international card machine, in which we replied NO we’ll pay with cash (I wasn’t exactly sure what was happening here but Zelma recognized it). We wanted to go to a restaurant that had high ratings online, but it ended up being far down a dirt road and closed (saw a mom warthog and her babies!!). So, we had him drop us off at a cute restaurant in town- The Three Monkeys. Exhausted from all these mishaps and sweaty from the African heat, we plopped down, ordered ice cold beers and pizza (SO EXPENSIVE! like fancy restaurant in America expensive. They really jack up the prices for tourists here), and strategized our next move. One of the restaurant staff, Yaron from Cape Town, started chatting with us and ended up being our own personal tour guide of Victoria Falls for the rest of the day- we got so lucky, otherwise we would’ve given up on the day and gone straight to our lodge! The entrance to Victoria Falls National Park was just down the road. Another steep tourism fee- $30 USD to enter (not to mention $4 water bottles). But once we entered it was all worth it.
The park was peaceful, alive. A walking path parallels the Zambezi river, set up high along the canyon’s ridge, with viewpoints of the falls along the way. The air was humid and plants lush, an African rainforest. Our first sight of the godly waterfall was pure enamor. Victoria Falls is considered the world’s largest waterfall-- one mile long and twice the height of Niagra. It cuts into the earth with never ending force, curtains of water endlessly reinforcing the split between the two countries. We watched in awe. At one section along the path it started pouring rain which caught Zelma and I by complete surprise, but Yaron told us it was from the steam. We could hardly believe it-- the rain drenched us to our core in an instant, then was done a few steps later. You could see the cloud of steam from afar soaking that pocket of rainforest in its own wet microclimate. We emerged from the heavy rain and dried off quickly in the warm wind. The pathway ends as the canyon curves to the right, lining the river’s fork. Yaron said the Zimbabwean side was better for viewing the falls since the most impressive sections are on the Zambian side. We sat at this viewpoint with a 270º view and observed. A grumbling lightning storm erupted over the steam cloud, streaking the angry sky in long jagged lines. White water mercilessly poured over the black rock as far as the eye could see, falling into the muddy green Zambezi. The sounds of thunder and smashing water, the sights of bright white clouds with black undertones against a blue sky, the swirling steam and humid winds against my skin, created an orchestra of natural energy. A striking reminder of Mother Nature’s power. The world is alive in this place, it has no remorse, it is angry and shouting and a symphony of the senses. It was magnificent.
Yaron showed us the way to the border and said goodbye. We were fortunate to have his guidance and wisdom about the place he is so passionate about. Zelma and I exited Zimbabwe and entered Zambia on foot, definitely standing out as foreigners at the border, but never feeling unsafe (the baboons were the most frightening part!). We crossed the bridge that connects Zim & Zam (home of the daunting Victoria Falls bungee jump.. I could NEVER), and got a taxi on the other side. We drove to our accommodations (saw my first zebra!!!) - Ngolide Lodge in Livingstone, Zambia. Very charming and lovely staff (thank you Hema for our warm welcome as your first AirBnB guests!) and the coziest bed ever. We had dinner at the lodge’s restaurant across the street, enjoying delicious Indian food and recapping our wild ride of a day. We slept very well that night in preparation for our next big adventure... Devil’s Pool.

How Does Mangalagiri Compare to Nearby Cities for Real Estate Investment Opportunities?
Mangalagiri, located in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, has steadily grown as a prime location for real estate investments in recent years. Its proximity to Vijayawada, the commercial hub of the region, along with improvements in infrastructure and government initiatives, has made it an attractive destination for both residential and commercial properties. Among the most popular investment choices in the area are flats, particularly in developing neighborhoods like Kaza. In this blog post, we will explore how Mangalagiri compares to nearby cities in terms of real estate investment potential, focusing on why investing in flats in Kaza could be a smart decision for investors looking to maximize their returns.
Mangalagiri: A Growing Real Estate Hub
Mangalagiri is witnessing significant growth, and with it, the demand for real estate properties has surged. Situated strategically between the cities of Vijayawada and Guntur, Mangalagiri offers the best of both worlds: proximity to major urban centers and the tranquility of suburban living. This balance has contributed to Mangalagiri’s increasing popularity, especially among those looking for affordable yet high-quality residential spaces.
One of the most promising areas for real estate investment within Mangalagiri is Kaza. Flats in Kaza, specifically, have caught the attention of investors due to the development of modern infrastructure and easy access to nearby cities. The area offers an excellent blend of affordability and convenience, making it an ideal location for those looking to invest in residential properties. As the region continues to expand, the demand for flats in Kaza is expected to rise, giving investors a chance to secure properties with long-term value.
Comparing Mangalagiri to Nearby Cities
When considering real estate investments, location is key. The most common comparison for Mangalagiri is with nearby cities such as Vijayawada and Guntur. While these cities are already well-established and have seen rapid growth, Mangalagiri presents a unique opportunity for early-stage investment, especially in upcoming areas like Kaza.
Vijayawada, being the commercial capital of the region, is known for its bustling real estate market. However, this also means that property prices in Vijayawada are generally higher compared to Mangalagiri. For investors looking for more affordable options with strong future growth potential, Mangalagiri offers an attractive alternative. The area is still in the process of development, and early investors can reap the benefits of lower property prices while the market matures. Furthermore, Mangalagiri’s close proximity to Vijayawada ensures that it remains connected to all the amenities and economic opportunities of the larger city without the inflated costs.
Guntur, on the other hand, is another nearby city that has been gaining popularity as a real estate investment hub. While it is less developed compared to Vijayawada, Guntur offers substantial growth potential, particularly in the industrial and commercial sectors. However, when compared to Mangalagiri, Guntur lacks the same level of modern infrastructure and development in the residential sector. This makes Mangalagiri, especially areas like Kaza, more attractive for investors seeking a blend of residential comfort and long-term value.
Why Flats in Kaza Are a Smart Investment Choice
Kaza, a prominent locality within Mangalagiri, has witnessed a rapid transformation over the last few years. The area’s proximity to key infrastructure such as the upcoming capital city of Amaravati, along with its accessibility to Vijayawada, has made it an increasingly popular choice for homebuyers and investors alike. Flats in Kaza are currently available at competitive prices, making it a prime location for those looking to capitalize on affordable real estate opportunities.
What makes flats in Kaza especially appealing is the area’s planned urban development. The government has invested heavily in improving road networks, sanitation, and utilities in the region, contributing to an overall increase in property value. As the area continues to develop, property prices in Kaza are expected to rise, giving investors a chance to see significant returns. Amaravaconstructions has recognized the potential of this location and offers various real estate projects that cater to the growing demand for quality flats in Kaza.
Additionally, Kaza’s connectivity to major roads and highways, along with its proximity to educational institutions, hospitals, and shopping centers, further enhances its appeal as an investment location. Investors who choose to buy flats for sale in Kaza are not only securing a valuable property but also positioning themselves to benefit from the area’s ongoing development.
Key Advantages of Investing in Flats for Sale in Kaza
Investing in flats for sale in Kaza offers numerous advantages for both seasoned investors and first-time buyers. One of the biggest benefits is the opportunity to enter the market at a relatively low price point. With real estate prices in Kaza still affordable compared to more established areas, there is substantial potential for appreciation in property values over time.
Furthermore, the growing demand for flats in Kaza is driven by factors such as the influx of professionals, students, and families seeking affordable housing close to Vijayawada. As the region becomes more developed, the demand for residential properties is expected to increase, which bodes well for long-term investors.
For those looking to invest in quality flats in Kaza, Amaravaconstructions offers a range of residential projects that cater to various needs and budgets. With a reputation for delivering high-quality properties, Amaravaconstructions provides investors with the assurance that they are investing in a solid and reliable project.
Future Prospects for Real Estate Investment in Mangalagiri
Looking ahead, the prospects for real estate investment in Mangalagiri appear promising. The local government’s focus on infrastructure development, coupled with its proximity to Amaravati and Vijayawada, suggests that the region will continue to attract investors. As demand for residential properties increases, areas like Kaza will only become more valuable.
For those interested in securing a profitable investment in Mangalagiri, flats in Kaza offer an excellent opportunity. The combination of affordability, proximity to key urban centers, and a rapidly developing infrastructure makes it a prime location for investment. With expert developers like Amaravaconstructions offering high-quality flats for sale in Kaza, now is the perfect time to consider this area for real estate investment.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Mangalagiri presents a unique real estate investment opportunity, particularly in areas like Kaza. With the growing demand for flats in Kaza, competitive pricing, and a focus on infrastructure development, Mangalagiri offers an attractive alternative to nearby cities like Vijayawada and Guntur. Investing in flats for sale in Kaza is a smart move for anyone looking to secure a property with long-term growth potential. Man Behind The Curtain-Part 2//Doom(Malina)-Solo
{Takes during after the events of Strikhedonia}
It was ugly. Slender fingers traced the scar across the left side of her stomach. A reminder of the attempted assassination. The fools had not known as to whom they dealt with. If her master had not been holding back every last one of them would have been mince meat. However Victor had a imagine to maintain, and as so she had leaped in front of the him as a shield, taking a knife near to her abdomen. Part of her wish she had died that very instant. The pain she had felt from the stab wound was nothing compared to the that of not knowing where her love was.
She had awaken to the bright lights, frightened out of her mind by the blurred sights of mask figures hovering over her frame. In her confusion she had lashed out at anyone she could dig her nails into. even managing to grab a scalpel and slicing one of the surgeon’s face. It had taken several guards to pin her down, strapping her arms to the operating table.
There had been had been a lot of blood lost, leaving her weak and delirious for a time. Her last memory replaying over and over in her mind. tormenting her soul. Was he okay? Was he okay? Was he okay? The same question repeated a thousand times within her head. It wasn’t until two days had pass was it replaced with another. Where was he?
Latverian security where placed outside her room when she finally came to her senses. Immediately she reached for her purse that had gratefully been set beside her bed, grabbing her cell and dialing for Victor. The phone rang and continued to ring. She hung up and call again. And once more no answer. Again. No answer. Again. No answer. Again. No answer. Again. No answer.
She nearly lost her damn mind. Climbing from the mattress and falling to the floor from her wobbly legs. A guard came in upon hearing the loud thump, aiding her back to her feet. ”Kŭde e nashiyat tsar? (Where is our King?)” she had demanded, clinging to the man tightly in frustration and anger.
He winched from the sting of her nails. “Az ne znam, gospozho. Kazakha ni, za da ostane s vas. (I do not know, ma'am. They told us to stay with you.)”
“Koĭ ti kaza! (Who told you!)”
“I did.” A very rough looking individual stepped into the room. His damaged eye and nose that had been broken several times over, automatically reminded her to whom he was.
“General Karadick.” She all but hissed.
The general gestured for the guard to leave them alone, to which the man was more than happy to do. “Miss Petron, please sit.”
She did no such thing. In turn only glared harder at him. Though head of the royal army, she in no way trusted Karadick. Far from it. “Where is he, general?”
He exhaled slowly, annoyed by her defiance. “Our leader was attacked. I understand you maybe his favorite plaything at the moment, but in situations as these I am the one in charge.” Crossing the room her stood just inches from her.
However she could only find his intimation attempt pathetic. She had stared into the eyes of true danger. He was nothing. “Where is he?” She asked once more, struggling to keep from striking him.
There was a moment of silence as the two stared down each other.
“Away from here.”
The answer was NOT satisfying. “What?! I demand you tell me where he is!”
The general laughed, “Demand?”
“NOW!”
“You are not queen.” He spoke as if addressing a tantrum throwing child. “Nor will you ever be. Now do as you are told. Stay put, and shut your fucking mouth. You are n--”
Her palm made contact with his face. Slapping him. Hard.
He glowered, hitting her back in response. The force knocking her back down against the bed. “Bitch!” He moved forward to strike her again but paused upon seeing the cut on her lip. “You will be sent home, to which there you will wait for farther instruction.” With that he straighten his uniform and left the room.
That was how she had ended up standing in front of the mirror. Dragging herself to the bathroom stink to clean up. Staring at her battered reflection. Her hand raised to touch at her mouth. It stung, but didn’t hurt. Victor was bound to notice. See that someone had struck her. Karadick would be punished. At least that was what she believed. The real worry was she had no idea what had become of her ruler. He very much could handle himself, she wasn’t blind to the fact that it was near impossible for anyone to lay a finger on him unless he so pleased. Yet that did nothing to ease her concern. He would have contacted her by now. If not anything to make sure she was still alive, right?
“You need to get in touch with him.” She said to her own reflection.
He would be mad at her. It was only for emergencies, but this was one. So a few days on his bad side wouldn’t be to terrible. Biting her bottom lip for the pain to help her determination. Malina walked back into the room and to her purse. Silently praying that the item was still inside. Slender fingers dug around the bag until she found the flat round object. Taking a breath she scanned her thumb on the surface bringing the screen on. The glass frame communicator only had one function and automatically it began to dial for Victor.
It had taken only two rings before he answered, but it had felt like eternity.
“This line is for emergency use only.”
“….I know, I just….” Her voice was still a bit shaky from her earlier shouting battle. She did her best to clear it.
“What is it you want, Malina?”
What did her want?! Such a thing should obvious! She wanted to know he was unhurt, where he was, and if it was safe.  Was he eating? Did he get enough sleep? What happened to the attackers? But more than anything she wanted to be in his arms. A tear rolled down her face and she took several long breathes to regain her composure. “Are you ok?”
“Do not waste my time asking needless questions.”
The harshness of his respond caused her to flinch. He couldn’t be that angry with her? She had only wish to know of his well-being.“Sorry…Where are you?”
Silence greeted her back. She feared that perhaps the connection was lost, but quickly chastised herself. This was Doom tech she was using after all.
“Hello? Vic-”
“It is not your concern.“
He cut her off. It wouldn’t have felt so bad if she had done something wrong, but this time...she quieted listening to the background. Catching the sound of a car door being opened and that of a woman’s voice.
"Do not call me again.”
Before she could say anything else the call was ended and she was left standing in the hospital room. Catatonic for a moment. Yet the shock was soon aided by overwhelming anger.
The communicator was tossed to the floor, shattering. Then went the small bedside counter, along with her purse and night lamp. The thin covers of the mattress were torn and flung across the room. The ugly painting of a cat was ripped from the wall. She picked up something sharp, a pen, and began stabbing the canvas. All the commotion causing the guards to open the door once again, only to find themselves bombarded with several thrown objects. She screamed until her throat was hoarse, but even then the shrieks still echoed in her head and soon she was laying on the floor.
“She’s hyperventilating!”
A voice, American, spoke faintly.
Malina felt her eyelids become heavy. Someone, something was touching her, moving her. One voice was now many, yet she could no longer hear what was being said.
Why? Why was he with...why...why....sleep soon took hold of her body.

Touring Gujarat In A Jeep Compass. Part II - Edge Of The White Desert
Tumblr media
After a couple of days of acclimatising to Gujarat’s dry state laws in the Jeep Compass and the severe lack of non-vegetarian food that made us reach out for the bed a bit early in the evenings, our body clocks were reset to an early morning wake up call. That was no problem though when you are waking up next to new scenery every day. For this leg, the day started off at the forest department quarters that overlook the Nalsarovar marsh, followed by heading out westward towards the protected region of the Little Rann. After crossing the last town on the outskirts of the 4,950 sq.km piece of land precursor to 7,500 sq.km Greater Rann. We picked up ISHAAN who had just hopped off his flight from Kaza (Spiti Valley) join us for the rest of our tour. I was imagining the change in his perspective, from 3,800 meters high up in the Himalayas straight down to the arid flat lands of the Kutch.

Action: Duke of Edinburgh (Gold) Qualifying Expedition: Trekking the Trans-Himalayas
Tumblr media
As part of our 17 day expedition to Spiti Valley in India, we were required to complete a 4 day qualifying expedition as well as a week-long residential project. For the qualifying expedition, we were lucky enough to experience trekking the beautiful Trans-Himalayan mountains.
After hours and hours of travelling including flights, bus and jeep rides, multiple hotels and completing the bulk of the residential component, we packed our rucksacks in Kaza (the capital of Spiti Valley) and climbed an elevation of an additional 600m in the jeeps to begin our 4-day trek. Todays trekking was 6 hours to the first home-stay and although picturesque, was extremely challenging due to a lack of previous altitude experience. This required everyone to take regular breaks and walk at a consistent pace, this was a new skill for the majority of us. Our home-stay was particularly friendly, despite the language barrier between us students and the house owners. Nonetheless, everyone was exhausted and got a good nights sleep for the next day of what teachers described as “absolute hell”.

The next day, we trekked again for another 8 hours to a bigger village called Demul; where we would spend the next two nights. The highlight of todays trek was undoubtedly stopping at the worlds highest post office, this was where many of us sent postcards to family members. There was also a lot of scenic snow-topped mountains and clear blue skies. Today’s walk was considerably more enjoyable than previous days, particularly because many of us had acclimatised to the altitude of 4900m. As a collective, the group showed commitment to each other throughout the entire day sharing food and water and offering to carry items for those who were struggling. It was also a good opportunity to talk to others in the group who I would not normally speak to at school. As such, it helped develop good friendships which have continued into Year 13.

On the third day of the expedition we were hiking to the top of the mountain in Demul to a peak of just over 5000m. Thankfully, we only needed to share one rucksack between 3 of us today as it was only a half-day of walking and this was to carry our lunch and water. We rotated the carrier every 20 minutes. This was definitely the steepest of all our climbs so far and we had to control our breathing. The view at the top was absolutely incredible and definitely worth the trek! We took loads of pictures and ate our lunch on flat before beginning our decent. Once we got back, we were able to watch a traditional Spitian dance performed by the Buddhist nuns and wives of the village before joining in ourselves.

The homestay experience was equally memorable due to the difficulty conversing, cooking and going to the toilet. All of these things the we take for granted were somewhat limited and has made me appreciate all of the luxuries I have in life.
The final day was just a descent to the bottom of the valley. This wasn’t too difficult easiest because it was just going down the mountains we had climbed in the first two days. We even saw other travelers along the way headed in the opposite direction and wondered how they were climbing the mountains because they were very steep. After about 4 hours, we finally reached our destination and headed back into jeeps to visit two other monasteries and headed back to our residential site to finish the greenhouse. It was an amazing experience!
