The above photo is apparently from the “Hobo Dance,” one of two interpolated numbers in this production, according to Lady in the Dark: Biography of a Musical, by Bruce D. McClung (Oxford University Press, 2009). Why the interpolations were needed is not clear. (First posted May 5, 2014.)
