Little Terrors
Lando Norris wants to jump his wife's bones. She has to remind him of the consequences of unprotected sex
Dad!Lando
God, his wife looked so sexy. After three kids, she still had it. But that wasn't a surprise to him, he knew she was damn sexy, and she always would be.
Even when she wasn't trying.
No, she was just sitting on the bed, reading her book. (Faerie smut, she'd read chapter fifty-five to him and he'd been horrified. That was what his wife was into?)
Her old pyjamas, stretched out and slipping down her body, not hiding much at all, looked so damn sexy on her. It had him crawling across the bed towards her.
He pushed her book away and pressed tender kisses to her lips. "Can I?" He whispered, pawing at her pyjamas like a horny teenager.
She giggled at him and let him pull her pyjama top over her head. Immediately, he kissed down her chest, hips desperately grinding against the bed sheets. "Lan," she laughed, hands moving through his curls. "Go and get a condom."
He pulled away from her to search through his bedside table for the packet of condoms. The empty packet of condoms. "Shit," He mumbled as he sat back.
She took the box from his hands, checking to see if it really was empty. "Oh, baby," she mumbled as she tugged at his curls again. "We can get some and try again tomorrow night."
But then his eyes lit up and he grinned. "Or we could just not use any protection," he suggested and attached his lips to her neck, trying to convince her.
The laugh that escaped her lips couldn't be considered pretty, but Lando still loved it. "Are you joking me?" She asked as she pushed him away. "You really want another child? Did you forget about the three devil spawns we already have?"
The Personal Massager
"Dad?"
Lando hummed as he drank his coffee. "What do you want, Wy?" He asked his six year old son and oldest child.
He sat back in his seat and turned his attention to Wyatt Norris. He had his dads same curls but, other than that, he was almost the spitting image of his mother.
He was damn cute and could probably get away with murder.
When Lando looked up and saw what Wyatt had in his hands, his face fell. "Do you think mum would mind if I borrowed her massager?" He asked so damn innocently.
Lando's face paled. "Yeah, Wy. She'd be very upset if you borrowed her massager," he said and tried to snatch it away from his son.
But Wyatt saw the way his father's expression changed. And now it was time for some fun.
He held it behind his back, away from his father. "Are you sure?" He asked. "I don't think she'll mind. Can you call her so I can ask her?"
"No, Wyatt! Give it here!" He tried again to reach for it, but Wyatt went running through the house. Forgetting his coffee, Lando chased after him.
It was all just fun and games to little Wyatt Norris. He didn't realise what he had in his hands, didn't know that he had to put it down! "Wyatt! Come back here!" His father roared as he chased him up the stairs.
Wyatt giggled as he tried to shut himself in his bedroom. But Lando caught the door and threw it open. Wyatt looked at his father, ready to laugh at him, but the look on his face had him falling quiet. His dad was the good cop, the one that didn't get angry. But, right now, Wyatt knew he was in for it.
"Give it," Lando said, holding out his hand.
Wyatt placed the... massager in his fathers hands and awaited his punishment. "Grounded," Lando said, immediately.
"Why?" He asked, but Lando didn't answer, didn't get stuck in that loop. One response to why, and it was all Lando was going to be hearing for the rest of the way.
The Paddock
Lando's little princess could do no wrong. She was the youngest of three, barely old enough to talk, but she already knew she had her father wrapped around her little finger.
Lando loved taking his kids to the track. His boys holding onto him in some way while he carried Arabella to the McLaren garage. His fellow drivers stopped the three of them to say hello to the boys and coo at just how cute Ari Norris was.
She really was cute, but that was what made her so damn dangerous.
For once, the boys were on their best behaviour as Lando took them into the McLaren garage. He almost couldn't believe it, but he stayed quiet. The moment he was to say something, they would have been running around, out of control.
He sat the boys in his drivers room with something to read while he carried Arabella around the garage on his hip.
"There she is," Oscar called as he grinned across the garage. Oscar Piastri loved Arabella Norris. But Arabella Norris did not love Oscar Piastri.
He cooed as he approached and Arabella giggled as she reached towards him. Acting as though she loved him. Nobody was ready for what was to come.
As soon as Ari was settled in her Uncle Oscar's arms, her face went red, screwed up, and she started screaming. Her cries were so damn loud, echoing through the garage.
It was an awful, horrible sound. Oscar's eyes went wide as he stared at the screaming child in his arms. "Lando!" He called, but not much could be heard over Ari's screaming.
But, the moment Lando heard his daughter screaming, he was making his way back across the garage. "C'mon, Ari," he mumbled as he took her and kissed the top of her head. "It's just your Uncle Osc." But there was no way she could hear him.
Sighing, Lando took her back to his drivers room. He bounced her until she calmed enough to fall asleep against him.
Arabella Norris wanted attention from her father and nobody else. The moment somebody that wasn't her father was holding her (with the occasional exception of her mother), she was screaming the house down for him.
The Broken Stuff
Hugo Norris was the clumsiest child in the world.
"Are you sure you've got it?" His mother asked as he began walking out of the kitchen with a glass of lemonade in his hands.
Hugo rolled his eyes. But the second he had done it, his face was flushing and he was full of regret. He should not have done that. "I got it, mama," he said and walked out of the kitchen.
For a little while, everything was fine. Mrs Norris listened out for the unmistakable sound of glass shattering as she cleaned up from lunch. But it never came, and she released a relieved breath.
But then she heard it. The unmistakable sound of glass shattering. "Oops," came Hugo's voice. His mother didn't hear it, though. She grabbed the dustpan and brush and went rushing to the room her middle child had disappeared into.
"Oh, Hugo," she mumbled.
Hugo didn't even have socks on. Placing the dustpan and brush down, she grabbed her child and carried him out of the room, placing him in the hallway. "I'll get you another drink in a minute, Hugs," she said and sent him up to his room (he wasn't in trouble, she just needed a moment to clean up.)
While she cleared up the shattered glass, things were quiet. Wyatt was reading in his room, Arabella was down for a nap, and Hugo was waiting for her to bring him a drink in a plastic cup. She loved her clumsy child, even if he was a little exhausting sometimes.
She didn't hear the second crash over the sound of the hoover, collecting up the tiny bits of glass that she couldn't see with her naked eye. Didn't realise anything had been broken until she headed upstairs with another drink for Hugo.
One of Lando's trophies was in several pieces on the floor. "Oh, Hugo," she mumbled for the second time that day. She walked a little further down the hall and knocked on Hugo's door.
When she pushed the door open, Hugo was hiding beneath his blankets. "Baby," she said as she sat on the end of the bed and placed the water on his bedside table. "Tell me honestly, did you break your fathers trophy?"
He sniffled. "He's gonna be so mad," He cried.
She shook her head. "No, baby. He'll understand and we can always get it fixed. You know, your father used to break trophies back in the day."
Hugo pulled the blanket away from his head. "He did?"
She laughed and launched into the story.
Back to the bedroom
The Norris's laughed as they recounted the stories of their little terrors. "Okay," Lando said, tossing the empty box of condoms to the floor. "Maybe we could do with one more," he said as he rested his body on top of her own. "What do you say mamas? Wanna make another?"
She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. "One more couldn't hurt, I suppose," she giggled and kissed him.
That night, and every night for the next few weeks, was what led to her pregnancy. But it was expected and it was what they had wanted. Just one more baby.
Just. The. One.
At her twelve week scan, they found out they were having twins. Oh, she was going to kill her husband.

play the demo | patreon | larkin is rated 18+
someone is after you.
for over a decade and a half now, you’ve traveled up, down and across the country--running schemes and hunting fiends with your mentor, con-man-by-day, vampire-hunter-by-night, Wyatt Abrams--the prolific vampire slayer and the living descendant of Gregory Abrams, founder and prophet of the Abrams Family, the nomadic vampire-hunting cult that raised you--and was wiped out years ago.
carrying the abrams name means also means carrying on it's enemies--but that isn't to say you haven't forged a couple of your own along the way. now, it seems someone is trying to make good on old threats and promises. they've placed a bounty on your head.
so you and wyatt do what you do best: you run away. to some little town, out nevada ways, where the title of town preacher is unexpectedly thrust upon you--bringing back years of trauma you thought long tucked away.
as if that wasn't enough, on your first day in town the local mine up and explodes--leaving the reclusive family that runs the town--and owns the mine--to suspect you as the main culprit.
now you're left with the responsibility of investigating the disaster to clear your name, looking into the mysterious cult just south of town, the gang of outlaws who've been wrapped up deep in a feud with larkin's patriarchal family--a group of people which you suspect to be hiding a secret most monstrous--all while dealing with the ghosts of your past, and the roots your family left behind.
larkin is a vampire western choose-your-own adventure game, with focuses on romance, religion, horror and complicated family dynamics.
play a fully customizable character [[decide upon their physical appearance, gender identity, sexuality, customize their pronouns]]
dictate a unique relationship with your mentor-turned-father-figure and his former appentice
romance any of twelve characters, five male, three female, one non-binary and three gender selectable characters.
define your characters skillset and scheming tactics, select their weapons and fighting style, elect their feelings on religion, vampires and the cult that raised them.
the doctor [male] cyrus sokolov - the quasi-mayor of larkin, cyrus sokolov also operates as the town's doctor and mortician. he's immeadiately suspicious of you, the new preacher and the reputation you comes with. even though he doesn't like it, he needs your help.
the princess [female] celina sokolova - despite the misconceptions among the townsfolk, the reclusive third sibling of the sokolov family, celina, is actually the family’s eldest. hardly leaving the sokolov mansion, it’s rumored around town that she’s been struck with some sort of sun-related illness, others seem to hold the opinion that miss sokolova simply sees herself as too good to linger amongst the common folk. whatever the case may truly be doesn’t much matter to the people of larkin, after all, it's much more fun to gossip. she's very suddenly developed a fascination with the preacher, a hunger almost. but will she eat you whole?
the mortician's assistant [male] dominic sokolov - the youngest scion of the sokolov family, dominic works as assistant mortician in larkin, though he’s much more interested in larkin’s living townsfolk then the dead ones he’s been charged with taking care of. with seemingly endless information on everyone and everything that goes on in larkin, mister sokolov might not be the worst friend to have.
the lawyer [male] jacob nash - larkin’s only practicing attorney and resident do-gooder. after passing the bar exam, nash headed out west in the hopes of making a real difference for the people there, only to spend most of his days settling petty disputes and notarizing documents. despite his disappointment, however, nash has managed to keep a level head and his fondness for the people of larkin, even though he’s not so sure the sokolovs have the townsfolk’s best interest in mind.
the bartender [female] rose holloway - larkin’s most recent transplant, that was, until the preacher showed up. former city-girl, rose has adapted to both life out west and on her own, the only way she knows how--by pushing through it. the owner and bartender of larkin’s only saloon, the emerald, rose is a popular figure around larkin whether she likes it or not, but whether that has more to do with her occupation or the fact she also happens to be larkin’s youngest widow is still a topic up for debate.
the lieutenant [male/female/non-binary] hollis - an enigmatic figure around larkin, hollis serves as a lieutenant for the mysterious rateliff fellowship. one of the cult’s few members to make the long trek from their encampment in the desert to town more than once. talked to by few, hated by most, hollis bears the reputation of the people they represent to the town of larkin--one, that isn’t particularly favorable.
the vampire hunter [male/female/non-binary] ace zhang - vampire-hunting-mercenary extraordinaire, the last the preacher knew of ace, they were the young hot-shot on san francisco’s hunting scene. once upon a time ace was a prominent figure in the preacher’s life, the first real acquaintance they managed to make on their own, someone outside of wyatt’s sphere. growing up a member of the guild, their life is one that’s mirrored the preacher’s. maybe that’s why the two seemed to be linked so closely during the preacher’s time in california, whether that was as friends, rivals or something more, their presence is one that remains prominent in the preacher's mind.
the outlaw [male] cassidy alan ward - cowboy, outlaw, bandit, cassidy goes by many names and titles, but the one he prides himself on most is leader. protector of his people, the ward gang hides out somewhere in the hills outside larkin, looming over the townsfolk as an ever-present threat, cassidy finds the sokolovs personally responsible for the death of his sister, caroline, and he is out for blood.
the gunslinger [female] ethel jackson - cassidy's right hand, ethel is a gunslinger through and through. fancying herself the robinhood type, she's got a personal hatred for the family that looms over larkin. with the fastest gun in all of nevada, maybe even all of the west--ethel could prove to be a valuable friend--or a deadly adversary.
the stranger [non-binary] reyes - the newest addition to ward's gang, not much is known about them or their past--what everyone is well aware of, however, is the fact that nobody whose ever decided to cross reyes has ever come out of it alive.
the vampire [male/female/non-binary] montero moreau - you've hunted down their coven, debilitating any hopes for growth they had in terms of advancing in the cut-throat world of Vampires. you've made montero look like a fool, and they hate looking like a fool. They're determined to hunt you down and take revenge.
the first man [male] - adam - he believes himself to be the mirrored man mentioned in the abrams family book of genesis--the first vampire, plagued to walk the earth--and he has long been in search of his eve.

HEARTLESS 💔 - PART SEVEN
Agent Whiskey (Jack Daniels x f!reader)
Summary: You and Jack have a real conversation for the first time and you find out he's more vulnerable than you thought
(This is the seventh chapter of the HEARTLESS 💔 series)
• PART ONE | PART TWO | PART THREE | PART FOUR | PART FIVE | PART SIX
Warnings: hurt, angst, hurt, angst, talk of past trauma, asshole!jack (but not really), mom!reader, and fluff because Wyatt is too cute
A/N: besties, I gotta confess 🥺 that I teared up writing this one, I don't know how you will all react, but my heart is broken for jack and reader 🥺
3.2k words
It was only evening when Wyatt finally showed signs of being tired. He loved Silver Pony so much and no matter if Jack showed him the other horses, he was hooked to your favorite girl, always clinging to her and stroking her soft fur. Silver Pony also enjoyed the affection, always hovering around the two of you gently, making your son giggle and reward both you and Jack with his sweet laughs.
The cowboy didn't interfere, he just watched the two of you having fun, his mind wandering through his thoughts. For once, he didn't think of his late wife and their unborn son, instead, he kept thinking of you and Wyatt, wondering and picturing what life would be like if he hadn't made you go away, if he'd taken care of you while you were pregnant, he was sure you were glowing and looking gorgeous, he thought of what would it be like holding you at night, stroking your pregnant bump and talking to the baby in your womb. How he would shower you in presents and you two would get the baby's room ready together. He liked imagining taking care of Wyatt as a newborn, how he would probably be afraid of holding him and you would soothe him. You two would be so happy with your beautiful little family. He thought of all the celebrations and parties that could have happened on his ranch, your engagement dinner, your wedding party, Wyatt's first birthday and so on. It shattered his heart to think he had missed out on an entire life of happiness only because he was a bad person.
He watched as the sun was setting and got up, gathering the basket and walking towards Silver Pony "I think we should head back, the sun is going down and Helen made us dinner…" he swallowed "it's your favorite sugar" he looked at you with his puppy eyes and you controlled the urge of rolling your own. It baffled you his ability of being a real dick and pretending nothing was happening, you were going to ignore what he said, but Wyatt smiled big "mommy happy?" He asked and you nodded, turning to Silver Pony "I'm very happy because I have you, my beautiful son, and also our gorgeous Silver Pony" she caressed down the mare's face and Wyatt whimpered as he couldn't reach it, so Jack quickly joined them, lifting him up and he imitated his mommy's gesture
"I wove Silvew Pony… can we take hew home, mommy?" He tilted his head in such innocent way your chest tightened and you laughed softly at him "we can't fit her in our apartment baby, otherwise I'd love to take her with us, so for now she has to stay here"
Wyatt pouted and nodded and then his face lit up as he had an amazing idea "can we wive hewe? With cowboy, mommy, Wyatt and Silvew Pony" he said happily and clapped his hands excitedly. Jack swallowed sadly and looked at you, you glanced back at him and licked your lips. As much as you wanted to punch him, you couldn't help but feel your lips tingling every time you remembered the kiss he forcefully imposed on you.
"I would love for you and your mommy to live with me, big guy, but I think mommy likes the city, but you two are always welcome here, to spend the weekend or as long as you would like" he said and rubbed Wyatt's arm, seeing his skin was cold and they should probably get back inside.
"Y/N… Wyatt is a little cold…" he said as he gently placed his big hand on your arm, startling you as you didn't expect his warm touch. "You're cold too. Here…" he told you, carefully handing you Wyatt as he took off his leather jacket and wrapped it around your body.
You didn't say much as Wyatt snuggled you, clinging to your body and yawning as your warmth spread through his body. You also tried not paying attention to Jack's scent lingering all over it. It smelled like pine, a little bit of cologne, whiskey and him. It used to be your favorite smell in the whole world, but now it only left shattered pieces of your heart behind. You nuzzled Wyatt's curls and kissed his forehead, making him giggle as you two rushed inside as Jack stayed behind to take Silver Pony back into the stable.
Helen greeted you at the door, you knew Saturdays evenings she went back to her home and would only come back on Monday, she was ready to go, but not without showering Wyatt and kisses and hugging you tight, telling you once again how happy she was to see you and how she wished you would come more often to visit them, you nodded and said goodbye, feeling happy to have seen the woman and placed Wyatt down. You took off Jack's jacket just in time to see him walk through the door and handed it back to him "thank you" you said in a low voice and turned to your son "now you're gonna get a nice warm shower, okay? So we can have yummy dinner" she told him, but he pouted and hugged his dad's legs, who knelt in front of him and stroked his cheek "mommy is right, buddy, you gotta do what she says, it's time for shower because no one likes a smelly cowboy" he winked and tickled his tummy making his son laugh.
You nodded, surprised at Jack's reinforcement as you expected low of him after he displayed his true character towards you so many times. You just assumed he would always take the easy road in order to be Wyatt's favorite, but it was good he knew you should work as a team and not as rivals.
You took Wyatt back to the guest bedroom you'd be having through the night as you would help him shower in the bathroom. He was excited to put on his horses PJs after showering, so he could show his cowboy friend how much of a cowboy himself he was. You chuckled, finding it amusing while Wyatt already got undressed by himself and got under the shower wanting to be over with it as soon as possible; though you tried starting it, no stream of water came out and you sighed, as you had no idea how to fix it, you wrapped a towel around your son and went to the stairs, calling Jack so he could assist you. He ran up the stairs as quickly as possible, excitement rushed through his veins as you were addressing him "what's wrong?" He licked his bottom lip and watched you intently
"Shower's not working" you informed him and he nodded and followed you into the bathroom. Wyatt giggled as he saw the cowboy, he shyly hid under his mommy still in his towel, waiting patiently while Jack took a look at things.
"Seems like this cowboy will have to shower somewhere else and you too sugar. You can take the bathroom in my bedroom, you know where it is and you can use the tub as well" he said with an excited smile at Wyatt "how's that buddy? Would you like to be a water cowboy tonight?" He cooed at Wyatt who nodded excitedly "pwease mommy, i want to pway watew cowboy" he pouted and you agreed, heading towards Jack's bedroom - the one that used to be yours too.
"I'll warm up dinner while you bathe him, sugar, unless you want my help…" he offered but you quickly dismissed.
After Wyatt had a blast in Jack's tub and begged you to brush your hair to the side just like the cowboy's, the three of you had dinner together. Helen had been so kind to make your favorite dish, along with some nuggets for your son, who enjoyed every second of it completely oblivious to the tension between you and his daddy.
Wyatt didn't take long to fall asleep on the couch after the amount of fun and activities he had during the week. He was so happy and enjoyed every single minute of the day and, though Jack sighed a little disappointed as he saw him already fast asleep
"I wanted to show him the bedroom I set up for him… Y/N please, I want Wyatt to keep coming here, you too, of course, so you can visit Helen and Silver Pony, but I know you hate my guts so I won't force you to come any longer, but I want my son around" he said as he sat on the edge of the couch and caressed his hair gently.
"Why did you come back after so long? I don't understand… I know you've been providing us with money here and there and that you also watched us from afar, but why now?"
You saw how tense Jack got as he looked down and took a deep breath, ready to speak but then changed his mind as Wyatt whimpered in his dream "this ain't something we should talk about in front of a kid, Y/N… go relax, take your shower and I'll tell you later" he said firmly and very gently picked up Wyatt, asking you to follow him down the hallway where he stood next to a door, which you remembered really well it was another guest bedroom, but apparently Jack had made it into Wyatt's room. He waited for you to open the door as his own hands were busy with your son and your heart warmed at how beautifully he had it made.
It was of course, all farm themed, with paintings on the wall, all kinds of animal plushies and matching furniture. You knew your son would go crazy once he saw it and you couldn't help tearing up at how thoughtful that place was. Even if things were ruined between you and Jack, maybe he could be a good father after all.
He covered Wyatt gently and pecked his forehead, turning to you and giving you another sad smile "you should go shower now, we can talk in a little while"
•••
Jack waited for you to exit the bathroom in his master room with a glass of scotch in hands and sitting down in the armchair. He felt anxious at the same time he wanted to get things done with you as soon as possible. He knew you deserved the truth, as well as his apologies though he was sure you wouldn't actually accept them, still he had to try. He wanted his son around and he could only get it if you could stand him at least a little, because even if he had blackmailed you, he didn't want to bring lawyers into the game, he didn't want to take things to the court and cause you and Wyatt more distress. He hoped he could make things civil between the two of you and he knew the way of getting into it was being honest with you.
He could hear the shower running and wondered why you hadn't bathed in the tub, as you loved doing it and very often invited him to join in with you. He felt a wave of lust hitting him, as he thought of all the time you'd spent there together, how you touched each other's bodies, your lips on him, your taste in his mouth, he was so happy and wasn't even aware that would end some day.
He was so caught up in his thoughts he barely noticed the shower went completely silent and a few minutes later, you opened the door and walked out only in your underwear, completely unaware of him at first. He gasped and felt his mouth getting dry, not expecting such a beautiful sight for his sore eyes, he licked his lips and wasn't sure if he should make his presence known, though his presence was completely explicit as he was sat there a few meters from you, under the bright lights, you were just too distracted, and he knew exactly what had caught your attention: the picture frame he had in one of his shelves. It was you and Wyatt, on his first birthday.
You didn't know how you missed it the first time you'd been into his bedroom earlier, taking your son to be bathed, but now you saw it: it was a picture of you and him. You didn't know how Jack managed to get his hands on that picture, but it was also quite shocking as you analyzed the rest of the furniture and the wall and you didn't find any pictures of his late wife. Why did he keep your pictures and not hers? It was another Jack Daniels mystery you weren't sure you wanted to find out.
You knew you would have to put up some clothes and find him, he managed to make you curious and you didn't know until what extent he needed to tell you something serious or if it was one of his games, but once you turned away and walked to his bed to get the clothes you'd left there, you finally spotted him in the armchair. Your heart nearly stopped at the sight of him there, you didn't expect to see Jack and he looked almost as shocked as you did, not believing you were flashing him your body like that.
"Fuck Jack, what are you doing here?" You raised your voice at him, anger and embarrassment formed a wave inside of you, as you immediately grabbed your towel and covered yourself.
He swallowed hard and finished his whiskey, looking embarrassed himself and rubbed the back of his neck "I didn't know you would come out of the shower without clothes, well, technically you're covering your… body" he said choosing his words carefully "but I thought you'd be fully dressed and well, you look gorgeous, even better than what I remembered, if it makes you feel any better.
You scoffed at him and shook your head
"Gorgeous? You said I looked rough this morning, Jack… you don't have to pity me. Besides, don't forget you're older than me and with the way you drink, you can start kissing your pretty face goodbye real soon, so you will definitely look rougher than me" you spat at him, not caring if that was pretty at all. You caught a hint of hurt in his eyes and that made you feel really proud even if it shouldn't have, but he immediately shook his head and stared at you.
"I deserved that" he chuckled dryly "but I didn't mean that, and I also didn't mean anything bad I told you before… I am a dick I know, but I knew you hated my guts after I made you leave and I thought to myself it would be easier for me if I just pushed you away, you hate me Y/N and you got all the right to do so, and I thought it would be less painful if I forced myself to believe I hated you too, maybe if I tried hard enough, I'd stop loving you and it would be easier to handle your rejection" he said feeling ashamed and looked down.
You sat in the other armchair, the towel covering your body as you listened to his words
"You don't look rough at all, you're as gorgeous as you were the day you walked out of my life, Y/N, you're not a bitch, and I won't get any lawyers, I promise you" he said with a small voice "I've been hurting you so you hate me more, because I will never be worthy of your love again, I lost you, but I don't wanna lose my kid, Y/N, please" he said honestly and watched as you just had a hard expression on your face
"You know Jack, the first time I saw you, I was already head over heels, you were on a mission and I had no idea, but I saw you approaching that woman and throwing your charm and she refused you. It was kind of funny, but all I could think of was that if it were me, it would've worked, you would have me wrapped around your finger…" you said "and only at the end of the night you saw me… and then when we started dating, I found out you'd been married before, and that's the problem with you, I'm always your second option, and I will always be" you shrugged "it hurts… to know I'm not the woman that's on your mind, that whenever we do something special to know you are thinking of how much you'd like to do with her instead… I don't want my son to grow up knowing he is only here because you couldn't have your first option… I don't want him to feel he has to compete with a ghost, because that's how I felt… that's even how I feel Jack, because do you even hear yourself? You would never do this to your wife…. You would never try to push her away by being cruel like you are, if it were her, you would get on your knees and beg for her forgiveness" you said and got up walking to his bed and getting your clothes. You didn't want to talk to him anymore, you were tired of being that hurt, as you tried leaving, he got up and held you by your wrist, firmly, making it clear you were only leaving that place when he wanted you to
"The reason why I wanted you and my son back in my life, is because I was shot on my last mission. I tried sabotaging the mission, but the other agent got suspicious and shot me. They took me back to Statesman and Ginger fixed me right, but she still needed to trigger my memory, so she showed me a picture of my wife, God bless her soul, and nothing happened" he licked his lips and stared into your eyes "so Ginger decided to show me a picture of you and Wyatt, and that was when everything came back all at once. Us, our relationship, our life here on the ranch. I was able to relive my memories once more, and when I got back to my senses, Champ forced me into therapy, and you know what the therapist concluded?" Your jaw dropped the moment you saw Jack had tears in his eyes, you had never seen him show that kind of emotion, he was really good at controlling his feelings and he didn't show that kind of vulnerability in front of anyone. You realized he'd asked you a question and as you swallowed hard, you shook your head, answering him.
"The therapist said I replaced one grief with another; I finally let my first wife and son rest in peace and I was grieving the loss of you and Wyatt, because I couldn't handle the guilt of making you two go away, but he reminded me you two were very much alive and I didn't want to waste any more time, I just knew I wanted my family back, and that's why I beg you for a second chance, sugar"

Hey!! Five Nights at Wyatt's is a western themed FNAF fan project me, @mewroticworker , and another friend have been working on. (I do concepts and ideas. I've made all but one of the characters and have worked on most of the lore. @mewroticworker is the artist, and Anne (she doesn't have tumblr. god.) is our programmer.)
We have a lot to share, but introducing the characters is the first and most important.
(All art, including these drawings, are made by @mewroticworker unless stated otherwise.)
The face of Wild Wyatt's Western Round-Up, Wild Wyatt.
A vigilante and honest ranch-hand, Wyatt is the main attraction. He tells tales of his time traveling the west and plays a harmonica. His rivalry with The Bandit goes way back, and he's quite close with the sheriff.
Wyatt's best friend and right-hand man, Fran.
Francis "Fran" the Sheltie is the barkeep at the Dusty Dog Saloon. He serves (non-alcoholic) drinks to the kids, and his bar also serves as a prize corner.
The other Dusty Dog resident, Cal the Coyote.
A gambling fanatic, Calithan "Cal" the Coyote plays poker with any kid who comes to sit at his table. His attraction is the main reason for the prize corner, along with The Bandit's.
There have been many parents with issues related to the Dusty Dog Saloon. Apparently they don't like the promotion of gambling and alcoholism.
The honse, Horus.
The town's lazy sheriff, Horus the Horse. He leaves most of the work to Wyatt, and rewards him greatly for it.
His sheriff's office jail cell is a playpen for younger kids (infant-6) and kids often make a game out of trying to wake Horus up.
Last but not least, The Bandit.
A dark and mysterious outlaw with some unfinished business and long history with Wyatt.
His attraction is an outlaw camp that functions as a game center. Each tent (aside from his own) is a carnival game, and you can take the points you win there to the Dusty Dog prize corner.
That's it for characters. We have more to release, but this feels like the most important to get out.
Also Matt Stone and Trey Parker are the restaurant owners canon and real

sign the papers | mat & mama
The house was awfully quiet when the kids were with Mat. The odd time when you kept Wyatt it was nice to have some company but she couldn’t talk or really understand anything yet.
You had called up Miles’ wife not long after the separation to ask her opinion on the split and a possible divorce. She was obviously concerned immediately but you explained what had happened and calmed her.
“sometimes marriages just run their course. we made five beautiful kids, we built a home, I just think me and mat want different things now”
The kids were confused, why there was now a daddy’s house and a mommy’s house. why they didn’t have movie night with their parents any longer.
Ivy tried listening to her parents when she was at home, listening while her dad cried on the phone to her grandma and her mom would stress out on the phone to her friends.
You had spoken to a lawyer, drafted up divorce papers, discussed financial settlements, custody of the kids.
When you saw Mat you had tried to mention it to him, softly. You knew how he felt about the whole thing.
You had managed to mention it when he dropped the kids back off, asking if he could come in and see Wyatt. You, of course, said yes.
You watched him come into the house, as if he’s never left it. He sat on the rocking chair in Wyatt’s nursery, rocking her to sleep and mumbling a soft story to her.
You watched them on the baby monitor, a soft smile as you listened to him talking to your baby.
“Hi sweet girl, hi meatball. I missed you, I’ve missed you so much”
You allowed them their time together while putting Ivy, Ryder and Bailey to sleep. When you’d both finished the night routine you met in the hallway, closing the opposing doors from one another.
“She asleep?” He asks about Ivy and you nod “out like a light”
He follows you down the stairs into the playroom where you begin cleaning up. Mat joins in, picking up stray toys the kids had thrown around.
“For being so little they make a massive mess” he jokes, breaking the silence.
You laugh “Yeah, they take after their dad I’m sure”
When the room is cleaned and tiny, you walk Mat to the door.
“Thanks for letting me put her to bed, it means a lot when I don’t have her-“
“I’m filing for divorce” you interrupted him.
You interrupted him telling you how much he appreciated his time with his daughter to tell him you were filing for divorce.
“Oh” is all he said
You nodded, biting your bottom lip “I just wanted to tell you before the papers came through in the mail”
He hums “So we’re not going to talk about this?”
“There’s nothing to talk about Mat”
He laughs, viciously “You kicked me out of our house and we haven’t spoken since I feel like there was definitely a conversation in there somewhere!”
“Mathew, you need to leave”
“Stop doing that!” He exclaims “Doing what?”
“Calling me Mathew and making me leave when there is the slightest inconvenience for you! I want to save our marriage, I want to save our family and you don’t seem to care”
You took a deep breath and replied “I stopped being able to care a long time ago, Mat. Please just go and sign the papers when they come in”
He didn’t want to fight any longer, he couldn’t fight with you anymore. Not when you were being selfish and never listening to his point of view. At the bottom line of it all, he loved you regardless.
So instead, he leaned down and kissed your forehead, while his hand supported the back of your head.
“I will always love you, y/n. from the moment I met you until the day I die, I will always love you with my entire heart and soul and if there’s ever one thing I know I got right in this world, it’s you. No matter what the paper says, you’ll always be my girl”
A tear rolls down your cheek and your hand grasps onto his wrist before you begin to sob “Mat-“
“Shh, it’s ok baby. It’s ok, I’ll sign the papers if that’s what you want, I’m not going to fight you anymore. I just needed you to know that regardless of us fighting, shouting and balling at one another, you are my world”
You shook your head at him, sniffling “Why are you being so nice to me?”
He shrugs “I only have a little while longer as a husband I might as well try being a good one”
You watched him pull out of the driveway and down the street, tears falling off your face while you sobbed quietly.
The following days, Mat had a roadie so you had the kids full time. You had officially accepted your role back as doctor for the devils next season so you were getting back into watching hockey.
The kids had requested Mathew’s game against the Kraken be on the tv so they could watch and while it was late you couldn’t say no.
So you sat with them, Ryder on your lap while your fingers carded through his hair while you watched the islanders play.
After the game, the press had announced a big press conference with the islanders. You didn’t think much of it, they’d won so it was probably just the dramatics.
You were tidying the couch pillows when you heard the tv
“Mat, Lou informed us you had an important announcement to make this evening?” A reporter asks.
Mat nods “Yes, thank you. I wanted to make this announcement here, in Seattle where I was playing when I was drafted by the Islanders organisation in 2015. My time on Long Island has been nothing short of amazing and I will always reflect on the relationships I have developed with the community, my team and the organisation. Today, I announce my retirement from the national hockey league as a player as this season draws to a close. My family are of the utmost importance to me right now and I feel this is in our best interest”
You drop the pillow in your hand and gawk at the tv “what the fuck”
“Mommy said a bad word!” Ryder shouts, reminding you that the kids were with you.
“You’d be saying bad words too if you knew what was going on” you replied, picking up your phone to text Mat.
Instead you found a text already on your phone from him
this is for you, for us. the nhl is your dream, not just mine.
You smile at the message and look back at the tv where mat is being hounded by the media on his bombshell announcement.
When Mat finally got finished with media and all that came with his announcement he managed to pick up his phone and wade through the messages from friends, coaches and family to find your name. Only to find you’d left him on read.
When he arrived home, your nanny had dropped the kids off at his airbnb so he didn’t get the chance to speak to you. The nanny, Rita had given him a pile of papers too. He suspected it was bills, school letters you’d asked her to pass along and they were discarded onto the countertop.
The weekend with the kids passed too quickly and before he knew it you were picking them up for your week. Between the kids, the media and the organisation Mat hadn’t gotten a chance to sit down until the middle of the week, sitting at his breakfast bar looking at the divorce papers sat unsigned on the counter.
Next to it was the papers Rita had dropped off, he picked them up and began flicking through. Bills, tuition payments and then a brown envelope addressed to you.
He frowned and opened it, pulling out a white paper, the exact same as the one on his counter yet this had your name on it. These were your divorce papers.
His eyes scanned the paper for your signature, it was nowhere to be found. Part of him felt hopeful, you wouldn’t have sent him this if it didn’t mean anything.
But it had been days since Rita gave him these and you hadn’t said anything, so did it mean what he thought it meant?
Before Mat made himself crazy thinking of the possibilities with this, he got in his car and made his way to your house. Not before a stop on the way.
It was late and he knew the kids would be asleep, so he knocked lightly on the door just praying you were awake.
He waited nervously until he saw the porch light flicker on and you appear at the door in your pyjamas
“Mat? What are you- it’s eleven o’clock”
“I know, but I had to come here because I got your papers” he rushes, watching as a sleepy smile is painted on your face
“I was wondering when you’d open them”
“I, I opened it and I hope it means what I think it means” he replies.
You nod softly “It means, come home Mat, it means let’s talk about this, it means you don’t have to retire just to fix us”
He shakes his head “I retired because, you were right. This is the Mat show, I want it to be the Barzal’s. I want to be able to see you at work, in everything you do and be so proud of you because you’re amazing. I accepted an offer with management so I’m not completely out of a job”
You nod with a laugh “Good, can’t have you being bored”
He then sighs heavily and adds “The day I first asked you out I said could really see this being something real and I just couldn't let you slip away. I’m not letting you slip away from me, now or ever”
At his confession you reach out to place a hand on his chest “I love you, Mathew”
He groans lowly and you laugh “Mat, baby, my angel. I love You”
“That’s better” he smiles. You notice his hand is behind his back and you raise your eyebrow skeptically.
“What you got there?”
He brings his hand out and when you see it you laugh through teary eyes “It’s ivy! There’s no flower shops open this late”

𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄’𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌ʷʲ⁵³
in which wyatt proposes to you.
warnings; none that i can think of? unless you count la la land as a warning because that movie is traumatic let’s be real
21 year old Wyatt Johnston looked at his teammate, Logan Stankoven, a Nikon camera displayed obviously in his hands. The Toronto, Canada native smiled nervously. "Calm down, Wyatt. You've got this, it's alright."
He nodded at Logan as he turned the camera on to record.
"Hey Wyatt!"
"Hey mom! Uhh... I actually... I wanted to give you a call and let you know some big news. You've probably seen this coming now for a little bit, but I want to let you know that I'm planning on asking Y/N to marry me."
"Oh, Wyatt! It's about time!"
dear y/n,
the moment i saw you i knew my life would change forever. the first thing i said to you was that you are going to be my wife. well, now i want to make that a reality. with you by my side on this journey through life i know we will continue to grow closer and our love will deepen. most of the time will be amazing. some of the time, maybe not. but i know that it's always going to be fun with my best friend helping me along the way. you're the most loving, courageous, and strongest person i've ever met. i can't wait for a lifetime full of smiles, laughter, competition, adventure, and ice cream with you.
sincerely yours,
wyatt :)
"Y/N, right now you think I'm at morning practice... and I lied to you." Wyatt chuckled into the camera, much to the entertainment of his 21 year old teammate behind it. Suddenly, he grabbed the camera from Logan, "However, Logan's leaving for Kamloops a week from now, and that's when I was gonna propose."
Logan chuckled, "Yeah, about that. I pushed my flight back a day so that I could be here to help you on the actual day." he turned to Wyatt with a wide smile on his face, and Wyatt pulled him into a tight hug.
THE MORNING OF THE PROPOSAL:
Logan Stankoven found himself behind the Nikon camera once again, recording Wyatt Johnston hanging up pictures of himself and his beautiful girlfriend, Y/N.
There was a picture of you and Wyatt eating ice cream in Italy with a ton of birds surrounding you, a picture of Wyatt in the stands cheering you on at your recent graduation, a picture of you doing the same at one of his NHL games, and another picture of you back in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. Then there was his favorite picture of the two of you - you two slow dancing by the fire on Christmas Eve.
Wyatt remembered that night vividly. The song 'Dream A Little Dream of Me' by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong was playing softly in the background, and your boyfriend had his arms snaked softly around your waist, your arms hanging loosely around his neck. You both had huge grins plastered onto your faces, and the night was all-around unforgettable.
All in all, there were close to 100 pictures strung all around yours and Wyatt's shared apartment. Logan gently sent the camera down on the kitchen table and made sure it was facing him and his 21 year old teammate before helping Wyatt hang up a long line of twinkling fairy lights above the multiple photos.
Making his way back behind the camera, Logan asked, "So, what's the plan?"
Wyatt smiled, "It's our five year anniversary today, so I'm heading to Y/N's apartment and picking her up for a date. Our first date was just your classic dinner and a movie, so I'm doing the exact same thing tonight. I'm taking her to eat at the same restaurant we ate at five years ago today and then we're seeing the same movie, La La Land, because it's back in theaters tonight only, so that works out so perfectly."
Logan smiled, "This is going to be so cute. She's going to love it."
THE NIGHT OF THE PROPOSAL:
Wyatt held hands with his amazing and beautiful girlfriend (and hopefully soon to be fiancée) as they made their way to the front door of his apartment. Little did you know, Wyatt's teammate and your best friend, Logan Stankoven, was behind that door, a black Nikon camera in his hands in order to capture the magical events that would unfold soon.
As the door opened, the first thing you noticed was Logan filming, and you looked at him and then your boyfriend with a confused look on your face. Logan smiled cheekily and Wyatt allowed you to head inside before closing the door behind you and quickly making his way to the backyard.
As you made your way to the kitchen, with Logan behind you, of course, you were shocked to see the completely dark room. The only thing illuminating it was multiple strings of fairy lights strung above 100+ photos of you and Wyatt. Below your feet was a path of rose petals, leading towards the glass door that opened towards the backyard.
You looked back towards Logan and the camera with tears in your eyes, and Logan just smiled brightly, a few tears now brimming in his eyes, too. You made your way to the backward and low and behold, there stood your boyfriend. As you reached him, Wyatt softly gripped your hands in his.
"Y/N," he started, smiling, "You have made me the happiest man in this entire world the past two years. I love you so much, and I hope I'm making you happy, too. I want you to be with me through wins, and through losses, through the good and the bad. I want to spend the rest of my life with you; nothing would make me happier. So, what do you say? Will you make me even happier than I am right now and marry me?"
You nodded at your boyfriend, tears in your eyes, "Yes. A million times yes."
Five years ago, you would have never dreamed of this moment, or even of Wyatt himself. But, to the credit of the movie that started it all for the two of you, here's to the fools who dream.
a/n; so i kinda took a different approach with this one and i'm not sure if i like it. i would love to hear what you guys think so please don't hesitate to let me know how you feel about it!

Oscar stood by the edge of the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets, watching Darien’s taillights disappear around the corner. He had enough to worry about without adding Wyatt’s concerns to the pile, though he couldn’t help wondering where Brynn had ended up. They hadn’t found her, of course; but the city was a big place, it was naïve to think they’d bump into her so easily. Hopefully she was fine-.. making it alone or whatever it was that she was up to.
Sighing heavily, he realised he’d forgotten his keys. It’d probably be better to sit outside all night, to be honest; Courtney would be livid by now. As if summoning her by thought and before he could make his mind up, she came thundering down the staircase, yanking the door open furiously. He should’ve known she’d be waiting for him.
Courtney: Where the hell have you been?! [Courtney hesitated before continuing, but the words fell out of her mouth before she could stop them] Courtney: Are you high-.. drunk? Oscar: Seriously, Cookie? It’s only been five fucking years. [Oscar scowled, hurt by her accusation; though he supposed he couldn’t totally blame her] Oscar: Sorry, I know it’s late… Courtney: I’m well aware of the time, Oscar-.. but someone won’t sleep when you’re not here. Oscar: I’ll put her to bed and we’ll talk, okay? I’ll tell you everything. Courtney: You better-.. working my ass. … Oscar tried to wrangle his haphazard thoughts as he settled Wren, glad for a quiet moment to collect himself. He tentatively joined Courtney downstairs afterward, meeting her expectant gaze with a guilty smile; he should’ve left them to it, his family needed him more than they did. Still, she seemed to have calmed down, and the more he told her, the less angry she became-.. although, he’d tactfully avoided mentioning the state Wyatt had left Gael in. He hadn’t strangled him, after all; and as far as Oscar was concerned, that was a success in of itself. Perhaps a first, even…
Courtney: You shouldn’t have helped them; you could get in trouble! Oscar: [scoffs] I won’t-.. besides, you didn’t hear the desperation in his voice. [Courtney squinted suspiciously] Oscar: I’m serious, he genuinely seemed.. genuine. Courtney: And she feels the same? Oscar: By the sounds of it, yeah. [Courtney fell silent, remaining so for a long time…] Oscar: What’re you thinking? Courtney: I don’t know.. maybe we should help look for her? Oscar: Where? Who knows where she is by now-.. I’m sure she’s fine, I think we’ve got enough on our plate. Courtney: I know, but-.. I’m not sure I would’ve made it without her, y’know? [Oscar winced, his heart twisting painfully as he remembered their shared, buried memories] Oscar: We’ll keep a casual eye out-.. maybe I can do some work in the city now n’ then, ask around. [Courtney nodded in agreement, stifling a yawn] Oscar: You two should get some rest-.. I’ll be up soon.

need more about the bucks' baby micah, headcanons or blurb i want more!!! (please, and when you have time ofc)
for ref
doing this in headcan0ns list form bc im tired from the time zone switch back to the states
the bucks do, as reffed in that blurb, turn the car around from going to wisconisn to go back to wyoming. end up having to get a hotel somewhere for the night so they don't drive more or less 20 hours roundtrip themselves into an early grave. but yeah.
swing josie by gale's sister’s house on the way back to sheridan. don't explain all the details but have to give her *some* explanation when they go from headed them to wisconsin to now suddenly back in wyoming.
maybe don't explain that this baby is her biological sibling right away but just. say that someone they know needs help with their baby, and that they gotta go back because they don't want him to be in the hospital by himself. pretty word salady but they're exhausted and she's five so. it is what is for the time being.
get to the hospital and get scrubbed in to down to the nicu with natalie to go see him. john's head still feels like his head is still in in spin-mode to the extent that he's not really processing everything fully.
but gale sees that itty bitty baby in his little nicu incubator with a little tube in his nose and is just. distraught.
has to sit down after a minute because its making his chest hurt. he just can't fathom how little he is and how he's in *danger* and how connected he already feels to him.
he gets reallll "woowoo" about the fact that he finally brought up wanting another kid to john all of 20 minutes before they got the call about him. feels like he somehow already intrinsically knew about him before he actually knew.
so kinda the reverse of how it was with josie- gale instantly feels bonded to him and john has a little bit of a harder time.
loves him so much already, is worried sick with all the preemie health stuff he's got going on. its just hard to process how fast everything is happening. if him and gale had sat down and decided to go the infant adoption route that'd be one thing.
in that case he'd have a lot more time to work through his hurdles re: being scared of having a baby, of being responsible for someone's life from scratch etc etc. but here he only had the drive back from wisconsin.
calls his mom a lot. calls curt a lot. that helps.
lil guy doesn't have a name for the first week of his life lmao. they just call him buddy and baby boy and then john is sitting up w/ gale one night and asks if he's given any thought to his name.
they land on micah curtis. micah as a riff off of michael the archangel, and curtis after their best friend (:
curt cries when he finds out. sweet man.
john's mom comes out from wisconsin and when she's there at the hospital that's when both the bucks go to gale's sister's house and have to explain to josie- the best they can- the full details.
poor peanut is so conflicted about Everything. has been confused about not seeing either of her dads in the same room for almost two weeks. is excited about having a baby sibling- but confused about why if he's /her/ sibling from her mom why she can't see her mom.
just a lot of Big Feelings, which gale and john handle the best that they can. good dads <3
i think it finally really Clicks for john when micah is doing okay enough that theyre allowed to hold him. looks at that lil guy in his lil nicu baby beanie sleeping on his chest and just. yeah. big thats my son, i would do anything for you feelings.
john gets really into sitting by his lil incubator and reading to him. nice way to bond that isn't super overwhelming. makes gale heart happy to watch. his boyssss.
this is getting super long lmao so ill cut if off here. but i wove micah- and rachel and i have developed a looottt of lore about him as a teenager/young adult (specifically re: him and wyatt- helen's baby with nash/ev's step son). so feel free to come prompt me to yap more!

Mistakes Made
Travis Kelce x OC
I've gone to stay with Jason and the girls. When you've decided you're ready to talk, you know where to find me.
Those words weren't the first thing to trigger Travis to the fact that he had fucked up.
The first was when he had left without a response on Friday, but he had assumed she would reach out and they would fix things.
The second was the night before the game. There was no facetime, no call, nothing to soothe the amount he was missing her.
The third was when he only got a single text from her during the week he was gone, on Sunday just before the game, and it was only five words. Good luck, I love you.
He had realized immediately how badly he had fucked up. But not for a moment did he want to recognize that.
"You are the biggest asshat I have ever had the displeasure of knowing."
"Jason-"
"Who do you think you are showing up at my front door?" It's Kylie this time, still wiping her hands on a towel from the kitchen but her expression is anything but the image of kind housewife that the rest of her is portraying. "After what you did to Dorthy, you have the audacity to show your face?"
"Ky," Is all he can manage to mumble, every ounce of exhaustion clear in his whole body. "I'm here to fix things, not to fight with you or Jason."
"You shouldn't have left yourself with something to apologize for Trav," Jason is the one to offer as advice, letting him into the entry. "Thea showed up to the house sobbing with an overnight bag on Friday and Ky couldn't even get the reason for your fight out of her until yesterday."
"I fucked up, I know that."
"Your girlfriend told you she was pregnant with your child and you walked out of the house without a word. You more than fucked up Travis," Kylie corrects, the end of her scolding being punctuated with soft giggles from another room.
"What are the girls doing up so late?" Travis asks, knowing the sound of his nieces giggles by heart. "I thought they had a bedtime of 8:30?"
"Dorthy and the girls are making your mom's cookie recipe," Kylie answers, moving her body out of his path to the kitchen, the three adults entering to a sight that would bring smiles to anyones face.
But the sight only made Travis want to cry.
Because there was the love of his life, wearing his sweatshirt with his middle niece on her hip, the new tightness of the sweatshirt and little girl's leg accentuating the woman's baby bump.
How far along did she say she was again?
His oldest niece is beside them on a stool, scooping the cookie batter onto the pan of they all dance around to music.
It's so domestic, and it's something that he and she will have in their futures. If he can fix this.
"Wyatt, Elliotte, come with me to get ready for bed and Auntie will put the cookies in the oven. Daddy and I will even let you come back down to have cookies with Auntie and Uncle when they're done," Kylie promises, the little girls being helped down and hugging their aunts legs, doing the same to their uncles' on the way out of the room, chasing each other up the stairs.
"Jas, come on, give the two a minute," Kylie instructs, tugging on my brother-in-law's arms, a soft smile being shot my way as they leave the room.
And now it's just Trav and I, the man who's presence I hadn't noticed until Ky took the kids.
"Hi," Is the only greeting I can manage, tucking the cookies into the oven for the girls before wrapping my arms around myself.
"How did I not notice this before?" He asks in a response, feet carrying him in long strides over to me. His eyes are trained on my stomach the entire time, until his eyes catch mine, "May I?"
"Trav, you've touched everywhere on my body, I don't know why you're asking now," I mumble, but this just seems to insult him.
"We haven't talked in a week Baby, I don't deserve to touch you, prior or not," He whispers, and I can feel the tears coming to my eyes.
"You can," I approve, his hands meeting my stomach, rounding over his sweatshirt to see the true size of the bump.
"How have I not noticed you were growing our little bean in there?" His tears slipping down his face. "I'm so sorry for walking out. I didn't know how to process the information, but that was no excuse to just walk out. I should have celebrated you, I should have celebrated our baby. And instead I walk out for a fucking football game." He scoffs.
I hate that he's crying. Argument or not. He's apologizing and I just hate that he's upset.
Taking the pads of my thumbs, I rub the tears from his eyes, taking his hands from my sides and into my own.
"Actually, she's about the size of an artichoke these days," I correct, chuckling lightly in an attempt to soften the sadness. "And it's ok. I mean, it's not, it really tore me apart thinking you didn't want our baby, but I should have told you sooner. Just with practice and games and -"
"You're not allowed to apologize when I'm the one who did wrong, Baby," He interrupts, a bright smile breaking out on his lips as he pulls me closer to his body by my hips. "So we're having a little girl?"
"I'm convinced your family can't result in boys," Kylie's voice chimes from the doorway, her and Jason standing wrapped in each other's arms. "I mean, this is four for four on kids that is going to be a girl."
"Speaking of," Travis starts, looking between all of us, "Do the girls know?"
"We're having a baby cousin!!" Wy cheers, bursting into the room with Elliott hot on her tail.
"Does this whole family just eaves drop and bust in?" I can't help but question, because this is just wild.
"We do, you should be used to this Kid," Jason confirms, Wyatt and Elliott joining Trav and I in a little hug.
"You girls know about your little cousin?" Trav asks, smiling as he crouches next to the two.
Ellie just nods, but it's her sister who answers.
"Yeah, Daddy said it will make Grammy love you more."
"That's it, I'm calling Mom!"

3.8k words
You knew Jack was awake and he knew you weren't asleep either, but neither of you dared say a word about what had just happened. Ever since your ex walked back into your life, you had spent quite a few hours just wondering how you would address the situation, you thought of a simple, harmless and non traumatic way to tell your son he had a father, and that his father was willing to be around, even if he wasn't before, and yet, once more your son baffled the two of you with his purity, his innocence and his ability of loving regardless of Jack deserving it or not.
You couldn't see the man's expression, but you were sure he was just as moved, not expecting it to be acknowledged so easily.
You had your arm wrapped around Wyatt's small body, facing his sleeping form, silently admiring him, pride and love burning so intensely in your heart. And then you felt Jack's big hand joining yours, entwining your fingers and taking your hand to his mouth, pecking it very gently, like the good southern gentleman he once was to you
"Thank you sugar, for allowing me to have this" his voice was full of emotions and it brought tears to your eyes, even if you had no plans in showing him. Eventually, with the silence in the room and only the rain pouring outside, you fell asleep. But sleeping next to a toddler isn't an easy task, you were used to it, of course, and you would be lying if you said it wouldn't be funny when Jack experienced that.
"Dada? Dada?" Wyatt's soft voice wasn't enough to snap Jack away from his slumber, so the little boy climbed his daddy's chest and squeezed his cheeks gently "dada!!!" He said a little louder and Jack widened his eyes, startled and alert at first worried some danger was right there, but relaxed the moment it was only his son's smiley face watching him "I want wawm miwk dada… pwease" he asked with sweet puppy eyes and Jack couldn't hold the wave of love that flooded his heart, his son was right there, snuggling him, at the same time he called him dada and asked for some milk. It was so domestic and adorable, something that Jack thought he would never be able to have and there it was.
He smiled big and wrapped his arms around Wyatt's small body, getting up and carrying him along "of course we can have some milk, son… that's essential for cowboys who want to grow stronger" he said in a low voice not to disturb you which brought a smile to your face, even if they couldn't see it.
Wyatt immediately clung to his daddy and giggled excitedly as Jack took him downstairs and began warming up his milk. He'd paid close attention to how you made Wyatt's warm milk the first night he'd spent with the two of you and once it was ready, he poured it into a small cup, it wasn't his usual sippy cup, but he figured Wyatt wouldn't complain. As the two of them waited for the milk to cool down a little, Wyatt rubbed his tired eyes and frowned softly at Jack, he was a curious little thing, his dad had noticed and he also knew he'd taken that after you
"Why dada no wive with mama and Wyatt?" He questioned and Jack swallowed, licking his bottom lip as he thought of an answer and for a moment he wished you'd be up and help him come up with an excuse, but then, Jack realized he had to answer that question alone, because now he was officially a dad, and he needed to step into this role and act as such, he couldn't run away from anything, so he stroked Wyatt's cheek
"Dada and mama had grown up problems, and dada made your mama cry and dada is very sorry for that" he finally handed Wyatt his cup seeing the liquid wasn't so hot anymore and smiled sadly at his son "unfortunately some families don't live together, so that's why dada lives here and you and mama live in the big city, but I love the two of you very much and this place will always be yours and mama's home too"
It didn't take much longer for Wyatt to fall asleep after he finished his milk, he hadn't asked much after his dad's answer, he liked to know he could be back to see the animals any time he wanted and after feeling all warm and full, he fell back asleep. Jack took him upstairs and placed him close to you, watching as you both slept peacefully. Once again, he cursed himself thinking of all the beautiful moments he lost because of how stubborn and cruel he had been to you. He could have had so many memories with his family, and while he admired your sleeping form and pretended for a brief moment you still belonged to him, he sadly thought of how you and Wyatt wouldn't have to leave in the early moment because his family would be by his side on his ranch and the thought that had been haunting him: how you wouldn't have 'someone' because by then he was sure he would've already married you.
As Jack got under the blankets, he couldn't keep mind thoughts from drifting back to what you had previously told you. You had someone, as in, you were dating someone. Someone that wasn't him. Jealousy was such an ugly color, but Jack Daniels was wearing it like a champ. He needed to know more about it. What was this guy's name? Where did you meet? Had he met Wyatt? He wanted to track him down, get his file, public records, criminal records, anything he could find and that he could dispose of and show you he wasn't a good person and that you should stay away. Jack wanted to be able to mend your broken heart and show you unlike this new guy whoever that was, he was the one who would have his arms open and ready to welcome you. He didn't even acknowledge the time he fell asleep, but he had sweet dreams about the family he wanted to have.
The next morning, Jack helped you take your bags to your car. He wasn't happy to see you and Wyatt gone, but he knew there was no other way to make you two stay a little longer, yet, he hoped that everything that happened and you had talked through would make it easier for him to visit your son. Wyatt finished breakfast while watching TV, Helen watching him, as she could only show up to work that morning after the terrible storm from the night before, and of course she loved every single time she got to spend with the little boy.
When you were done with the last bag, Jack approached you once more. He could tell you weren't so weary around him anymore but it didn't mean you were happy about his presence either. However, he needed to talk to you, and even if you weren't too thrilled, he was going to ask you no matter what.
"So, who's the guy you're dating? Where did you meet him? Does Wyatt know him?" He blurted it all out and you had to bite your lower lip not to laugh at how pathetic he sounded. You knew you could be angry, maybe you should be angry, but Jack sounded so silly, like a jealous school boy, you felt pretty amused at his inquiry.
"Listen Jack… he's a real nice guy, he's handsome, we get along pretty well and though it is still recent, I think it might lead somewhere…" you scratched your head softly and saw how he furrowed his brows, jaw clenching softly though he tried hiding his jealousy it wasn't easy.
"Where did you meet him?" He placed both hands on his waist, unconsciously taking a defensive pose, and even if he didn't like any bit of that conversation he couldn't bring himself to stop asking questions about it, the more it hurt the more he wanted to know.
"Oh Jack.." you sighed and blushed softly staring at your shoes for a while before facing his deadly gaze "we met on Tinder"
"Tinder what?" He asked confused and watched as you bit your lips again. Were you holding back your laughter?! Oh that cowboy was getting pestered by minute.
"It's a dating app, Jack… it's very common.. maybe you should try, perhaps you could meet someone nice there"
"So you wouldn't care at all if I got that Tinder thing and found myself some sugar?" He questioned, taking his time to analyze every single change of expression, Jack was really desperate for any crumble of your love.
"Why are we even discussing this, Jack? Are we done here?"
"You still haven't told me his name…"
"And what do you want his name for? So you can just get your Statesman contacts on him? Maybe it's better that way" you shrugged and turned away from him, but Jack caught your arm holding you in place "there's something else we need to talk, this is important, Y/N" he warned you and slowly made you look at him, he'd taken off his sunglasses and watched you with deep, sad eyes.
"I just want you to know that even before I went after you and Wyatt, a few days after I woke up when I was shot… I had a meeting with my lawyer, and I made a will, leaving everything for you and Wyatt, you know I have a dangerous job, I'm getting old and after what happened, I'm scared it could happen again and maybe if it does, Ginger won't be able to fix me again" he sighed "so I wanted to make sure you and Wyatt are going to be financially safe…"
And once again, Senior Agent Whiskey left you speechless. You didn't like hearing him talk about those things, you didn't even like considering the fact he could have been dead by now, you wanted to tell him to quit being an agent, if he didn't feel safe in the field, maybe he could just get a desk job, he could work in the intelligence part of the agency or he could stick with just his CEO position of Statesman… if he did so, he would even be close to you and Wyatt. But you couldn't say that to him. Jack Daniels was already a delusional man on his own, if you'd said something like that, he would take it the wrong way, assuming it meant you wanted him to be closer. And just inbecause you didn't want him dead, it didn't mean you wanted him around you.
"We don't want your money, Jack… Wyatt and I want you alive" you told him, you didn't want him crossing the boundaries, thinking he had the right to claim you as his, but he deserved to hear those words "well, mostly because I think the only person who actually has the right to kill you is me" the two of you chuckled softly, he was amused at your sense of humor "but seriously Jack… I'm happy you're not dead"
•••
Tinder. Tinder. Tinder. Tinder. Tinder.
Jack couldn't get that word out of his mind, he just couldn't wrap his head around the fact that you went on a dating app to find yourself someone. It wasn't just a coincidence, a good deed of destiny that brought you and your guy together, just like it happened to him and you, when he ended up stumbling on you during his mission, which almost caused him to blow it and it didn't even bother him, because it brought him the love of his life. But instead you had gone after a man, because you wanted to be with someone and Jack couldn't hold back his jealousy over this fact, and as if it wasn't enough, he was presented with the fact that you literally told him you wouldn't care if he got a new girl himself. It was just too much for him, and he couldn't accept that.
However a curiosity also crept up in him… what if he tried this tinder thing as well? Would it be too bad? Would he find someone nice? Maybe he could find your own profile? He had so many questions and yet he didn't know where to begin. In fact, he did… he knew he just had to download the app, that was the first step, and then what?
He took his phone and after battling with himself for a while, he finally did so, still pretty confused at how things worked. What was he supposed to do? Just swipe through people's photos and choose the one he liked? He thought it was odd, practical yes, if he ever wanted to find a night stand but if he looked for love, then there was no way he would find it that way. Jack was an old fashioned man when it came to that. He was a gentleman, he had manners, he knew how to treat a lady, romance to him was between two people, looking in the eye, hand in hand, flirting, kissing, and not things happening over a screen. Jack sighed and put his phone away, he couldn't believe you, out of all the people decided to go use that resource to find yourself someone.
Before sleeping, Jack made sure to video call you and talk to Wyatt. Sometimes you would be part of the conversation and sometimes you would just hold Wyatt, snuggling him while he talked about his day to his dad. It didn't matter if Wyatt was only a child and couldn't hold up a conversation, Jack loved that moment, it was a habit that quickly became his favorite and he tried doing it almost every night. Sometimes it wasn't possible due to work or other things, but either you or Jack would always let each other know. Still, whenever he hung up, he felt a hole in his chest, an emptiness he couldn't fill no matter how many times he watched pictures of you and your son, he was still a lonely bastard and there was nothing he could do to change that, and it was exactly because of this loneliness that Jack decided to give that Tinder thing a try.
He was an attractive guy, it was a stated fact, so it wasn't like it was extremely hard for women to take a liking to him, but Jack was a demanding guy…It's not that the women there weren't attractive, they were, but he knew he was just looking for someone else he couldn't have, whenever he swiped to the left, he had hopes the next picture he would see was yours.
But eventually Jack managed to start conversations here and there, some women were alright, he had some chats with them, others the conversation really took off and some even sent him a few nudes - which he didn't hate, by the way - but it wasn't exactly what he expected. He hadn't felt any sparks with any of them, even if he had agreed to go out for a coffee or something eventually.
And the days went by, sometimes fast and sometimes slow; he often visited Wyatt, brought him a few gifts and though you and him were always cordial you would never actually let him in for a deeper conversation, it felt to him that apart from Wyatt, you and him had absolutely nothing in common, and that's what brought him pain. Even when Jack tried being nice to you and brought you a box of chocolate, you thanked him in a respectful way but informed him you didn't eat chocolate anymore. He didn't know until which extent you were just avoiding him or if you'd just changed, but it hurt him to see you were so far away from him, and it was another reason why Jack insisted on that Tinder thing, he thought that maybe he could find someone who would at least bring some joy into his life.
And that was how Jack met Clara. After a few days of chatting, the two of them decided to go out once for all, at least Jack would get distracted, have a nice meal with a hot chick and maybe get laid. It wouldn't just erase you from his mind and heart, but you made sure to show him you had gotten over him, so he just decided to take his chances with Clara.
At first, he didn't really think things through when it came to a place to take his lady for the night, he had barely realized it was an actual date, it would be better that way, so he wouldn't be too nervous about being around her, but as time approached he realized he was nervous and because of that, he had to put a little effort to it. So Jack got his best pair of leather boots, along with his leather jacket and his stetson. He had good manners and knew a gentleman should always take his hat off when he sat at the table, but he would like to make a good impression on Clara. If she looked anything like the picture, she was indeed a stunner. He finished off by applying some cologne and after making sure his mustache was well trimmed, he headed for the restaurant. He didn't think much about the place he was taking Clara, he needed a good place in the city and pretty much only realized he'd picked the little Italian place you loved so much when he had already parked there.
Jack sighed and faced himself in the rearview mirror, sighing and reminding himself he wasn't on a date with you because you had moved on and he should do the same.
And then Jack sat at the table uncomfortably for the last half an hour, drinking the finest Statesman scotch they had available while he waited for Clara. He looked around and at the door every five minutes, not wanting to show he was slightly anxious and extremely embarrassed to have been stood up on his first try. It felt utterly humiliating, he didn't know why he had been rejected like that, did that girl just want to make fun of him? Why? He'd been nice to her, a gentleman, he hadn't been creepy or anything, he was going to pay for a very fine meal and he wouldn't expect anything in return, like a good southern gentleman he was. Maybe Jack was too old for that shit, maybe he should just accept he would never be happy again. He had two chances of love in life, one of them had been taken away from him and the other one he threw it away in the worst way someone ever could. Jack sighed and looked down at his phone one last time, he was just going to stand up and head home, but he felt someone standing in front of his table and a tiny bit of hope warmed his heart, he raised his head preparing his best, flirty smile but felt mortified when you stood there, watching him with curious eyes
"Jack, what are you doing here?" You questioned him curiously, it kind of looked like he was on a date with the exception there wasn't anyone with him. It was quite odd but curiosity got the best of you. He opened his mouth to answer you, but he watched you in disbelief as a man approached you, his arm snaking around your waist and pulling you closer.
"Our table is ready, baby" he said in his deep voice.
Jack was baffled. That guy was… scruffy. And he was wearing jeans to a date with you! He had wild curly hair that seemed to be tamed only by his ridiculous cap. Jack wanted to scoff at that image, a grown up man wearing a cap as if he were ten. He couldn't believe that was the guy you'd chosen for yourself, that you had thought that man was more attractive than he was. It was too much for him, the circle of humiliation was completed and Jack knew he had to go home.
"Hey man, my name's Frankie" he extended his hand to the cowboy, knowing exactly who he was by the things you'd told him.
Jack stared at the man and licked his bottom lip, knowing they expected him to shake his hand, but suddenly a beautiful girl walked towards them, ignoring you and Frankie and going straight to Jack, pecking his lips and smiling "sorry honey, I'm late" she said with a sweet smile.
That was the cherry on top of the uncomfortable cake that night had become. You swallowed and took Frankie's arm showing him it was time to go to your table, definitely not wanting to see any other PDA coming from Jack and his date. The cowboy watched her with an amused smile, he had liked the girl immediately, though there was one simple problem: she wasn't Clara.
"Care to explain?" Jack asked the girl, taking another sip of whiskey into his mouth and ignoring how you and your new boyfriend were seated just a few tables away. The beautiful woman chucked and shrugged.
"I've been watching you since you got here, cowboy… seems like you were stood up by your date, just like I was… now my real question is: what kind of woman would choose not to have dinner with you?" She asked and smiled "because I certainly wouldn't pass up my chance… my name's Taylor, by the way" she extended her hand to the handsome cowboy and expected him to shake it but instead, he took it to his mouth, kissing it gently.
"My name's Jack" he said with a smirk and licked his lips once again, watching how she blushed but at the same time loved the attention "tell me, Tay… how would you like to ride home on a cowboy tonight?"
And Taylor bit her lips, laughing at his joke and nodded softly. And Jack felt really good about himself, he had a pretty lady laughing at his joke, a pretty lady who kissed him even without knowing him, because she had her eyes on him, and she felt like they could have some fun. He liked how she laughed and it reminded him of you when you still liked him, it brought him good memories, good enough so he could pretend you weren't just a few meters away with your new guy, even if he wasn't aware of how your blood boiled when you heard him use the same pick up line he did when you two met. At that moment things were just good for the cowboy. Maybe good old Jack Daniels still got it after all.
_____
A/N: okay, okay, okay, I know I *might have* misled some of you into thinking Javi G would be reader's new guy. And some of you almost convinced me, I love Javi G, he's sweet, funny, lovely, but I don't think he would be the best fit for this story, I mean, it had to be Frankie, it's always been Frankie from the beginning, him and reader are parents, he's a real guy with a real working job, he's a family man, they deserve to live their passion 😭😭😭 TINDER WHAT?

"Urby! Can you come here for a second?!" You yelled up the steps before you heard him shuffling and moving around.
"I JUST WENT TO SLEEP AN HOUR AGO!" You heard him yell back at you and you proceeded to roll your eyes.
"NO ONE TOLD YOUR DUMBASS TO STAY OUT ALL NIGHT WITH SUNNI AND COPE! AND IT'S THREE IN THE AFTERNOON!" One thing that Urban never did was sleep and you couldn’t understand for the life of you how this man functioned on a daily basis.
"DON'T YOU START WITH ME! I GOT YOU RAMEN EARLIER!"
"IT WILL LITERALLY TAKE FIVE MINUTES!” You then heard Jack say and Urban came down the steps to the living room where both of you were seated and sat on your left while Jack was on your right.
“Yes? Now what was so important that my sleep was interrupted? You two didn’t handcuff each other and lose the key again so where’s the fire? I was drifting off until I heard the pregnant lady call for me.”
“I will kick you in the forehead, Urban Henry.”
“Like you haven’t tried to do it before.”
Jack ignored the both of you as he spoke up.
“We wanted to give you something.” Jack started to say while holding the gift bag in his hand.
“What’s the occasion? I’m always down for getting gifts. Does it come with weed?”
“Uh no, Urby. We wanted to ask you formally if you would be the godfather to these three. We know you’ve had the title for years, but now it’s official since they’re almost here.”
“This is… just so unexpected.” Urban started to say and acted as if he was about to cry as you and Jack laughed and rolled your eyes.
“We could always ask 2fo.” You muttered and he shot you a look of disbelief.
“OVER MY GOT DAMN DEAD BODY. YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING. YES, I ACCEPT!”
Jack handed over the gift bag for him to open it and see two matching bucket hats, one for him, and one for the size of a baby along with a shirt that said ‘Godfather to the Triple Threat Harlows’.
“I am definitely wearing this to the hospital when it’s time, the shirt is dope as fuck. PG is going to be so jealous. But wait, you were serious about there being no weed? And why are there only two hats in here?”
“That’s the other thing that we wanted to tell you.” Jack said and smiled as you looked over at him and nodded your head in approval.
“What?”
“We only told you the names of baby one and baby three, but never baby two since we were still deciding.”
“Damn, so we really aren’t going with Urban Henry Wyatt for all three of them?”
“No Urby, how many times do we have to say it?!”
“I just thought I’d try one last time. So what’s the name?”
You and Jack looked at each other and smiled before turning back to Urban.
“Axel Wyatt Harlow.” You said and his eyes immediately went wide.
“Wait, what? Are you… are you serious?” He asked before looking back and forth between the two of you.
“Of course we’re serious. You’re one of the reasons why we’re together in the first place. You’ve been an amazing best friend to the both of us and never gave us a reason to doubt you or doubt our friendship. You always want the best for us and vice versa and never have a problem with being honest. Don’t you ever forget for a second how important you are to us and to this family. We love you and will do absolutely anything for you.” You replied to him and his eyes started to water.
It took a few seconds for Urban to respond as he was now fiddling with the little bucket hat in his hands. You saw a few tears escape and was trying to do your best to keep it together and not start to cry.
“I.. I don’t even know what to say. I’m honored that you would choose for your son to be named after me. I don’t feel as if I’m anything special.”
“I’m going to stop you right there because you are special. And especially to us. You’ve done so much for us and we thought it was only right. We didn’t know which part of your name that we were going to use so that’s why it took us so long to decide.” Jack explained as Urban simply sniffed and nodded towards him.
“You know that I would do anything for the both of you and now that branches out to the three of them. It’s just so crazy that in about two weeks they’ll be here.”
“And they have the most amazing tribe to look after them.” Jack added and Urban simply nodded.
You reached over as much as your stomach would allow and hugged him as he was trying to get himself together.
“Love you, bestie.”
“Love you too.” Urban replied as the two of you separated and Urban got up to go and hug Jack.
“Now, was that worth us waking you up?” You asked while laughing.
Urban turned to you before smiling and looked down once again at the tiny bucket hat.
“It definitely was.”
