hope everyone had a wonderful time and let's see what this new year will bring us (⌒▽⌒)☆

I personally spent it drawing just for the drawing to be kind of shit lol I will be redoing it and take proper care to make it look good instead of the trash it turned out to be

My personal goals for this year aren't really different from last year(which I managed to fulfill!) ,I want to improve my art skills,maybe start making a simple game(I already have an idea for it),actually start working out(have also been doing this but I want to do it every day instead of every other day),go to the doctor to sort out the pretty obvious allergies I seem to have,get a job I actually like that also pays well and become more extroverted ∑d(°∀°d)

#thankfully I have neighbours who did the fireworks so I could see them from my window #not so great about those neighbours was the fact that they started firing their fireworks early #and by early I mean a week before christmas #and then the entirety of december at least once a day #on silvester then the whole day #I wonder how much they had spent on fireworks...#godoframbles #HAPPY NEW YEAR

It's finally time.

The crowd falls silent as the bridge lights are dimmed, leading everyone to focus on the vast, clear sky that stretches overhead. Everyone waits in silence, some holding their breath in anticipation. And then comes a whistle as the first round of pyrotechnics zips up through the sky, followed by a deafening BANG!

Sparks burst into a thousand extraordinary lights, painting the sky in mesmerizing colors — brilliant red, emerald green, incandescent white, royal purple. Another spark shoots up, exploding into stars and lighting up the crowd spectating below. More fireworks follow, one after the other, twirling through the air before exploding into blossoms of rainbow light. Some streak through the sky like shooting stars, while others spin and dance and trace intricate patterns across the heavens. Unseen by the crowd below, a Jirachi zips through the barrage of colors, adding its own playful glow and spark to its favorite colorful blooms. Somewhere behind you, you hear people start screaming the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne. If you're up to it, you join in.

The spectacle continues for well over a half hour, bursts of color painting the night sky in the color of your dreams. It's wonderful, captivating...

Magical.

As the salvo of explosions simmers down to a mystifying calm and quiet, you can't help but think that maybe this upcoming year will be better than the last. We hope your dreams will come true.

Lol we didn’t have popcorn today

#I opened #with one of my coworkers #she made the first batch and the popper stopped working #we were chatting and then the popper had a little bit of an explosion #like it looked like a firework went off #pft #the popper popped #and yeah we coulnt make more popcorn so we were out #they went and got an old popper from a closet which we had to clean #it’d been in there for Years #and they definitely did not clean it the last time they used it cause it was still full of popcorn bits and stuff #it’s rusty #they had to fix the wiring #it wasn’t up and running yet when I left #I got sent home early #just cause there were too many people there for how Not busy it was

we’re not even in may yet but all i can think about is watching the fireworks on the 14th of july

the 13th of july (yes i come from a small town) used to be one of my favorite times of year but i never dared to go back after a bad encounter a few years ago

BUT

now i have a friend who’s moving to a place with a GREAT VIEW of the fireworks in the city so i’m very excited about that

it’ll never be the same as my cosy small town festival but hey. friends, beer and fireworks, that’s all i need

#trying not to think about how i'll never get to see my childhood friends and other old aqcuaintances again #trying not to think about the scenery i love so much #trying not to think about the cheeky relationship we had with the staff and government people and the pranks we used to pull #trying not to think about the random encounters i had every year #like the iron maiden fan i approached in 2018 and we talked for like an hour and he bought me a beer #it's weird because growing up i always assumed i'd be there every year #as a kid playing the carnival games i thought i'd become a teen playing with fireworks near the river #as a teen playing with firework i thought i'd become one of the adults who hang out at the bar #as an adult bar rat i figured next year i'm gonna be the one helping out behind the bar #next year never came #i just wanna talk to people and catch up on local news and gossip #idk why im thinking abt this so early in the year #i need to go outside #i'll be able to go outside in 3 weeks #cant wait
