It's been a long time since my last formal art class, but color choices always stand out to me, and split-complementary in particular is one that I think about constantly because it is so much more subtle and interesting. :) I really loved seeing it!

#Fiona (the-march-hair) also does really cool things with color if anyone is interested #also I always think of the triumvirate as being the primary colors (Enj-red Ferre-blue Courf-yellow)#and R and Enj are canonically law of complementary colors (thus gReen)#but split-complementary is more or less what I always think of with JBM #Joly and Bossuet are the split and Musichetta is the complement #like she's orange Joly is indigo and Bossuet is teal #answers and shitposts #color theory #pilfering apples
