꣑ৎ so i imagine you are also virginia-based and everytime the bau has a local case you would also be called to the crime scene/when they catch the unsub.

꣑ৎ emily would hate to get checked out and would always be uncomfortable with the attention and the vulnerability that comes with it. she would always insist that she's fine and that she doesn't need help, even if it is clear that she does, in fact, need help.

꣑ৎ however, all of that changes when you treat her for the first time. derek is literally stunned into silence when he sees his usually stoic colleague doing what you ask of her without any complaints or reistance.

꣑ৎ the truth is, once emily sees you for the first time, she's sure she has never seen someone this beautiful before in her life. she's so distracted by you that she doesn't even feel the three stitches in her shoulder.

꣑ৎ she would get so flustered however when you have to pull down her longsleeve to acces the wound. your quiet heads up beforehand could not have prepared her for the way she involuntarily reacts once you lean a bit on her, you hand making direct contact with the skin of her shoulder.

꣑ৎ prentiss would thank you for patching her up and then walk away, dazed.

꣑ৎ from this day on, emily would always get checked out after finfishing a case, but only if it was one of your shifts.

꣑ৎ everytime you would patch her up after that first time, emily made sure her intentions were clear. she shamelessly starts flirting with you and would get bolder every time.

꣑ৎ at some point she would even start to linger after being looked at, talking to you, touching your arm occasionally, doing everything she can to find out if you were also into her.

꣑ৎ oh, but poor you. you were incredibly in love with the dark haired agent but also oh so oblivious to emily's obvious flirting. you always brushed it off as her just being nice but a part of you always wished it was more.

꣑ৎ the team found it incredibly entertaining to watch the two of you being completely unaware of the other ones feelings. they were already betting on how often prentiss had to be checked out by you while being completely fine before you caught on.

꣑ৎ once emily realised that you wouldn't get the hint, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

꣑ৎ so after giving her some stichtes on her forehead - which looks incredibly kissable in your opinion - she couldn't take it anymore and finally asked you out.

꣑ৎ to say you were flustered was an understatement. your face immediately turned red and you were just able to mumble out a shy yes before a smile broke out over your face that made emilys heart skip a beat.

꣑ৎ the team watched in amusement, but was happy that the two of you finally made the first move into the right direction.

Seafood Salad

In ACNH: 1. Randomly obtain from any Villager who is cooking or at your Restaurant in Happy Home Paradise 2. Cook at a stove with 1 Sweet Shrimp and 1 Squid.

In real life: from the United States

Fish of Choice: It's crab - either imitation (which tastes great and is easy to obtain & use - it's real meat, just not actually from crab (it's Haddock or another finfish)) or the real deal. Judging from the way the ACNH seafood salad looks like, it's a combination confusion about what seafood salad actually is. If you're going for the look of the ACNH meal, cooked squid and shrimp will be needed.

Look under the cut for ingredients and how-to prepare, because I'm actually covering the 2 dishes this ACNH fish dish thinks it is.

The ACNH dish looks a hell of a lot like a Crab Louie, which is a type of seafood salad that actually looks like a traditional salad. Just like in some salads where you add grilled chicken, the Crab Louie is a salad you add crab to. Though the origins are a bit murky, this particular salad was being served in California around 1914, so that's neat. Anyway, you'll notice the ACNH Seafood salad looks most like the Crab Louie by actually being a salad with lettuce and other veggies:

How to prepare the Crab Louie: On a bed of iceberg lettuce, add crab (imitation or not), hard boiled egg, tomato, and asparagus. The dressing is Louis dressing, which is a combination of mayo and chili sauce. Like any salad, mix and match what you like. (I'd personally take out the asparagus because I don't understand asparagus in a cold salad.)

Actual Seafood Salad is more like potato salad than a traditional, lettuce-based salad. These are typically shrimp and imitation crab-based (essentially the "seafood" in the seafood salad, just as potatoes are the "potato" in the potato salad), with red onion, celery, and dill all mixed in mayo, old bay seasoning, and a bit of lemon juice.

So yeah, I don't know if ACNH knew what it was doing or if it just went "seafood salad? That's easy!"

The coral catshark or 'marmalade shark', Atelomycterus marmoratus, is one of a few small shark species that are regularly available through ordinary, saltwater aquarium retail channels. Growing up to 70 centimeters or 28 inches long, and usually staying a little smaller, these elasmobranchs can actually be accommodated, on a permanent basis, by hobbyists with 'doably' large tanks. Atelomycterus sp. are benthic, but they are more active than either the hemiscyllid and heterodontid sharks, a fact which contributes to their popularity. In the wild, A. marmoratus inhabits coral reefs in the Indo-West Pacific area, and is recorded from Pakistan to New Guinea and Taiwan, at shallow depths of down to 15 meters.

The elongated body of Atelomycterus sp. allow them to move into and through the reef environment, though they do not walk as do the unrelated hemiscyllids, which are more often seen in the aquarium trade. During the daytime these sharks are reclusive, emerging to hunt from the evening to sunrise. Prey of Atelomycterus are mostly finfishes, although their small size and proportionally small mouths limit their prey selection to animals that are up to 20% of their own total length. The shape of their teeth merely facilitates the piercing of small prey, rather than tearing into large, living or dead animals. In captivity, they have been observed to lie in wait before lunging at prey. This is surely the ancestral habit of the carcharhiniform sharks.

Atelomycterus is historically one of the genera placed in a taxonomic group named the Scyliorhinidae, which were viewed as the basal members of a shark subclade, which is named the carcharhiniforms. As traditionally conceived of, the 'scyliorhinid' taxon is actually paraphyletic, meaning it's members are no more closely related to one another, than they are to the remaining carcharhiniform shark genera. Nonetheless they are the most basal and protomorohic members of this group, benthic ambush predators approximating the ancestral ecomorphology of their larger and more pelagic allies, such as the hammerhead, requiem, and tiger sharks.

A. marmoratus may be a small shark species, but it is still longer than most aquarium finfishes, and is also quite active after dark. The Koln Tiergarten in Germany suggest this species requires an aquarium, that is at least 300 centimeters (or 10 feet) long. If we can assume the decor is complex enough by design, to allow the shark to swim through it in three dimensions, as well as shelter in it, then I dare say this is correct. Atelomycterus sp. do have a roving habit, but clever habitat design makes use of their natural habits, and simultaneously maximises their living space. The footprint of their aquarium should be at least 150 centimeters (or 5 feet) in the other direction, and the height of the aquarium matters, only in that it allows for more complex rockwork structures, that the shark will retire into and swim tbrough.

A. marmoratus is not especially hostile to other small sharks, nor to finfishes if they are too large to be seen as food. Some contrary anecdotes do indicate seemingly irrational or territorial aggression from some A. marmoratus individuals, but these are exceptions to the rule. Verified instances of aggression seem mostly to occur at feeding time, when the shark competes with other tankmates for meaty foods, and the species has been described as 'semi-aggressive'. A. marmoratus has been kept successfully with fishes such as large angelfishes, without serious, negative incidents, because such fish are big, robust, and will not compete with the shark at feeding time. A. marmoratus are also harmless to coral colonies when they are housed in reef tank environments.

A. marmoratus has sharp teeth and potentially can cause pain, it bites the aquarist when being hand fed. Caution should naturally be urged if the aquarist wishes to do so, but many people do feed their sharks by hand without getting bitten. Thrill seekers and sincere admirers of these sensational predators, will be disappointed to learn that A. marmoratus is a somewhat eel-shaped animal, as befits its lifeways. Admire it for itself, and it will be a great display animal and pet. Other species of the genus Atelomycterus are sometimes traded, and have generally similar requirements. Unlike A. marmoratus some species might not be tropical so they may be unsuitable for reef tanks, or other marine aquariums with tropical temperatures.

Fanfic Writing Update

So originally for this month I was going to do a Goretober writing challenge for the Big Ghost SMP but I'm honestly kind of scared/curious about the ao3 curse. Normally I don't care but I had a whole bunch of stuff to do that I didn't feel like being messed up because of the curse. Then I wondered if mass updating would make the supposed curse worse. Or would the mass posts cancel the curse out? I do plan to post for said challenge at a later date since I did write a few of the prompts out.

I plan to Hiatus all of my Fics but one and finfish said fic before doing the same thing with another.
