Happy Anniversary to Dust An Elysian Tail!!! (Belated albeit) The indie game first released on the Xbox on August 15th 2012. Its crazy to believe that this game is 12 years old now! Making my hyper fixation of the game 10 years old now .... Hoooooo boi.

But seriously this game means so much to me and was the main reason I started writing and art in the first place. I cannot thank this game enough for its influence on me and how much it has helped me through some hard times. I remember even when I was feeling lonely as a teen, this game was there for me to turn to. When I felt stuck with art and wanted to even give it up at one point, I made a Dust an Elysian Tail Fan comic with my sister. Sure it was riddled with shipping, cringe and plot holes bigger than Texas, but it was our comic.

That same comic that I picked up and am rebooting today!(Hopefully less cringe) I was hoping to release a cover art for it but wasn't able to finish it due to some rough mental health this past week. However I plan on posting more about it to this page soon! Keep an eye out for some concept art, character bios, incorrect quotes and more! I see this comic as a proper tribute to how much Dust has done for me. so I hope you all will love it as much as I have loved writing it!

All that being said, Thank you Dean Dodrill. Thank you for inspiring me with this beautiful game and it's wonderful characters...

Aw, this is just embarrassing. I had many more plans for MerMay and apparently this might be the last for the month. I’m sorry, folks.

Goddamnit, Dust, what nonsense did you get into NOW? Might as well be Dust: An Atlantic Tail if anything. But whilst I HAVE seen Fidget drawn as a mermaid ONE TIME, Dust needed more love and I wasn’t leaving him out of this.

Probably my hardest drawing for this season. I think I did well though.
