Our team consists of experts from different areas that deals with designing, engineer, and molding the fiber into near perfection. Apart from the fact that fiber sculptures are easy to turn into the desired shape and desired size, it is lightweight yet stronger in many aspects than a sculpture made of glass or wood. It is long lasting, and they are available at affordable prices.

Indonesian fiber artist Mulyana has taken over the Fisher Museum of Art with colorful, hand-knitted and crocheted aquatic life.
With the duality of life and death as a recurring theme, Mulyana crafts a tactile, mystical world in which fish, whales, and coral reefs coexist with sea monsters and slow states of decay.
Read Renée Reizman’s review of Mulyana: Modular Utopia.

Yarn Snail!
Colors on the body didn't quite turn out how I wanted, but overall very pleased. One antenna broke off before its last kiln journey, but will be glued back on.

Facebook reminded me that today it's three years since I finished this sculpture. So this is probably a repost. Should make more like this though. It was a lot of fun! I'm feeling like smaller projects that bring more of an instant satisfaction now. My big moss wall project is very satisfying now, but has been such a slog.

closeups of my needlefelted fursuit head! She is merino wool over upholstery foam. I really wanted to achieve a “handmade doll” look with her while keeping the general head shape super realistic so she always reads as a cat. The big ribbon hides where she sits on my shoulders and the illusion is pretty good! I am excited to be her many more times.
