I was so happy that the music in class was obscenely loud. I had the level of noise needed to moan inconspicuously without being noticed or heard by the teacher or other students. I can't tell you how many new versions of myself I have met through my willingness to use my voice as a tuning fork for energy to flow and new versions of myself to sow. And soft moaning sounds permeating from the body translate as safety, that you are in a safe environment. Therefore the body relaxes and feels safe to expand and create new narratives of itself, whether growing larger muscle fibers or completing a longterm project.

It makes sense for products to come in a variety of price points, but they COULD still make them affordable without making them intentionally shitty so they break after a certain amount of time.
So the thing is - no, they really couldn't make them affordable AND not prone to breaking. That's the tradeoff. They're cheaper because they're made with lower quality materials that have a limited lifespan.
Similarly, being difficult-to-impossible to repair is usually because glue, riveting, and snap fittings are faster and easier manufacturing processes (and therefore cheaper) than machining threaded openings for screws and then screwing parts together.
Even the most expensive wool suit in the store I work at has pretty shoddy construction on the inside. I'd love to be working on better quality stuff, but the economy doesn't really allow for that nowadays, and I can't do anything about it.
Savile Row tailors still exist! They still do a brisk business! They're also insanely expensive. They aren't making any fewer suits, if anything they probably make more suits than they did in the 19th c. But they were only ever making suits for the elite 0.01%. The average 19th c. middle class man in Europe and the US was wearing a middling quality coat by an okay-ish tailor. The working class man was wearing the cheapest coat he could get out of whatever fiber was affordable, made by the fastest, laziest, sloppiest tailor. Their clothes were just biodegradable and worn until they were rags and then repurposed, so they don't survive. And meanwhile, India was being driven into poverty so British nobles could keep buying Savile Row suits.

The modern world is vastly wealthier and healthier than anything in history.

Packaging solutions provider SIG has supplied Tamil Nadu-based Milky Mist Dairy with advanced filling technology — installing three high-speed filling machines for aseptic carton packs. The machines will help the dairy product manufacturer to grow its offerings, increase its output, and provide innovative packaging solutions to Indian consumers. Milky Mist will be able to offer products in a wide range of different packaging formats and sizes to suit different consumption occasions and price points.
Milky Mist will utilize the three machines -- SIG SmileSmall 24 Aseptic, SIG Midi 12 Aseptic, and SIG XSlim 12 Aseptic -- at its manufacturing plant near Erode in Tamil Nadu. The packs can be combined with highly convenient opening solutions without complex setups. This will result in increased operational efficiency and cost savings, ensuring consumers get to enjoy its products in a large variety of packaging formats, volumes, and designs, company officials explained.

According to Tandan, SIG's filling technology will provide a distinct advantage to Milky Mist in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety. Unlike other systems on the market, SIG carton packs are delivered as flat-packed sleeves with the long side already hygienically sealed.
“In the filling process, the products are filled into the open-top SIG carton packs. After this filling process, the packages are ultrasonically sealed above the filling level. This prevents product residue or fibers from being trapped in the sealing seam, which could lead to leakage or contamination. As a result, the quality, taste, nutrients, and natural colors of the products are preserved for up to 12 months without the need for refrigeration or preservatives.”

The SIG SmileSmall 24 Aseptic filling machine, capable of filling 24,000 carton packs per hour with volumes ranging from 180 to 250 ml, primarily covers the premium product segment. With the SIG Drinksplus technology integrated into the machine, Milky Mist will be able to aseptically fill beverages with bits such as real fruit or nut pieces in SIG SmileSmall carton packs. Milky Mist will use the SIG filling machines to pack products with higher viscosity like dairy creams.
