Get Ready With Me: A Bold Holiday Lip
the holiday season is here, and there’s no better time to rock a statement lip! my latest “get ready with me” features a bold holiday lip using the stunning “charming carnation” xl lip liner, paired with a festive, glowing makeup look. here’s a full breakdown of everything i used to create this chic and seasonal vibe!
youtube
SKINCARE PREP
a hydrated base is key, so i started with the ordinary hyaluronic acid + b5 serum. this product is terrific for plump, dewy skin, especially during the colder months.
FLAWLESS BASE
for a natural and even complexion, i used the honest beauty ccc tinted moisturizer. it provides lightweight coverage with a gorgeous glow—perfect for letting the bold lip steal the show.
EYES THAT POP
i kept the eye merry and bright:
-revlon eyeshadow palette in seductive: i used the lightest shade which is perfect for a subtle shimmer.
- benefit cosmetics mascara fan fest: for long, fluttery lashes that frame the eyes beautifully.
BRIGHT & FRESH UNDEREYES
to banish any signs of sleepiness, i applied the catrice undereye brightener, which blends seamlessly for a refreshed look.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder: To set the undereye brightener and keep it looking fresh all day long.
CHEEKS
a pop of color on the cheeks ties everything together! i used:
e.l.f. cosmetics putty blush in turks and caicos: a creamy, coral-toned blush
HAIR DETAILS
no holiday look is complete without polished hair. i tamed flyaways with the frontal queen wax stick, and added a touch of the color wow root touch up powder for seamless hairline perfection.
THE ACCESSORIES
to elevate the look, i added the edelweiss backdrop earrings from shop the banannie diaries. these earrings are the perfect statement piece for holiday parties or gatherings.
THE BOLD LIP
the star of the show is the kreizi beauty “charming carnation” xl lip liner. its creamy formula and vibrant shade make it the perfect choice for a bold holiday lip.
all products are linked in the description of the video, along with any available discount codes. don’t forget to check out the earrings at shop the banannie diaries for an extra festive touch!
i’d love to see your bold holiday looks! tag me on social media so we can celebrate the season in style together. don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more tutorials and beauty tips!

In 1568, Turks and Caicos Islands made history when a mysterious figure descended from the night sky and stole the hearts of the island's inhabitants. Though the figure was never seen again, his impact on the local community was profound, and to this day, many believe it was a gorgeous incubus that graced the shores of the Caribbean nation.
The mysterious figure appeared during a festival on the island and was said to be wearing a beautiful suit of colorful feathers and shimmering jewelry. Witnesses claimed that the figure glided across the sky with grace and elegance, hovering just below the stars. Those who saw his face believed he was a man of great beauty.
According to legend, it was the incubus's far-reaching influence that sparked the islanders' newfound appreciation for beauty, art, and culture. It was also said that he had bestowed the islanders with knowledge about the heavens above, inspiring them to pursue greater understanding of science and technology.
Though the identity of the figure remains a mystery, it's clear that he left an unforgettable impression on the people who saw him. To this day, Turks and Caicos Islands continues to honor the incubus's powerful legacy, often naming streets and schools after him as a sign of respect and admiration.
The mysterious figure's significance in the island's culture is undeniable, and he continues to live on in the hearts of the locals. It's no wonder that the figure has become a celebrated part of the island's history.

What Is The Best Time To Visit Turks & Caicos?
With warm, sunny weather year-round, Turks and Caicos are a destination that can be enjoyed anytime. However, there are some months that offer better weather and lower prices than others.
February, March, and April are ideal for families looking to escape the winter chill in North America or Europe and enjoy a sun-filled getaway. The weather is pleasant, and the islands are quieter compared to more bustling destinations.
May is another great month for beach vacations. The daily highs typically don’t get above 84 degrees Fahrenheit, and the trade winds are still strong enough to provide some relief from the heat. Additionally, you’ll find fewer tourists in town than at other busy times of the year, and you can take advantage of off-season rates on flights and accommodations.
July sees higher humidity and rainfall, but is still a fantastic time for a vacation to Turks and Caicos. The temperatures in the afternoon can get hot (up to 92F), but plenty of sunshine and cool breezes will help you stay comfortable. More rain also means more mosquitos, so bring a good insect repellent spray. However, July is a great time to experience many popular local festivals, such as the Festival of Food, Rhythms on the Beach, and the Pico and Hobe Cat Sailboat Races.
September is another wonderful time to visit, with a little less rain and higher temps than June and July. It’s also hurricane season, but serious storms aren’t common in the Turks and Caicos Islands. You’ll also find that rates for flights, accommodation, and activities are significantly cheaper than at other peak times of the year.
December, especially during the holidays, is a great time to visit, as well. The temperatures are still warm, but the humidity drops, and the islands are aglow with festive vibes. The Maskanoo festival will make Boxing Day a memorable occasion, and Grace Bay is aglow with revelry on New Year’s Eve.
The busiest time of the year for Turks and Caicos is December through April. This is when the weather is at its best, and when you’ll be competing with other travelers for sun-filled days on the beaches. The upside is that you can enjoy world-class resorts like Rock House at a much more reasonable price than during other peak seasons.

The Ultimate Guide to Island Hopping in the Caribbean
The Caribbean, a sprawling archipelago of sun-drenched islands, is a paradise for travelers seeking a mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural diversity. Island hopping in the Caribbean is an exciting way to experience the unique character of each island. This guide will provide you with essential information to make your island-hopping journey unforgettable.
Exploring the Diversity of Caribbean Islands
The Caribbean is a mosaic of vibrant cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and rich histories. Each island boasts its own unique charm:
Jamaica: Known for its reggae music and rich cultural heritage, Jamaica offers a lively atmosphere, stunning beaches, and lush mountains.
Barbados: This island blends British colonial history with a laid-back Caribbean vibe, featuring historic sites, rum distilleries, and beautiful pink-sand beaches.
St. Lucia: Famous for its iconic Pitons, St. Lucia is a haven for nature lovers with its volcanic beaches, reef-diving sites, and rainforested interior.
Transportation: Navigating Between Islands
Traveling between islands in the Caribbean can be an adventure in itself:
Ferries: A popular and often economical way to island-hop, ferries can provide scenic journeys between nearby islands.
Flights: For longer distances or when time is a constraint, inter-island flights are available. Airlines like LIAT and Caribbean Airlines offer regular services.
Private Charters: For a more personalized experience, private boat charters are available, ideal for exploring smaller, more secluded islands.
Accommodations for Every Traveler
The Caribbean offers a range of accommodations to suit every preference and budget:
Luxury Resorts: For those seeking luxury, islands like the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos offer high-end resorts with world-class amenities.
Boutique Hotels: Many islands have boutique hotels that offer a more personalized experience, often integrating local art and culture.
Guesthouses and Villas: Ideal for budget travelers or those seeking a more authentic stay, local guesthouses and villas are available on most islands.
Savoring the Local Caribbean Cuisine
Caribbean cuisine is as diverse as its islands, with a delightful mix of flavors:
Jerk Chicken in Jamaica: A must-try, this spicy, grilled chicken dish is a Jamaican specialty.
Seafood in the Bahamas: Fresh seafood, including conch salad and grilled fish, is a staple in the Bahamas.
Creole Dishes in Martinique: Influenced by French, African, and Caribbean flavors, Creole cuisine in Martinique is a culinary adventure.
Engaging in Beach and Coastal Activities
The Caribbean is a playground for beach and water sports enthusiasts:
Snorkeling and Diving: Explore vibrant coral reefs in destinations like Belize and Cozumel, known for their exceptional underwater visibility.
Sailing: The calm, clear waters of the Caribbean Sea are perfect for sailing. The British Virgin Islands are particularly renowned for sailing adventures.
Beach Relaxation: From the white sandy beaches of Aruba to the secluded coves of Antigua, there's no shortage of picturesque spots to relax and soak up the sun.
Experiencing the Culture: Festivals and Historical Sites
The Caribbean's cultural richness is evident in its music, dance, and festivals. Participating in local events like Carnival can be the highlight of your trip. Also, explore historical sites to understand the islands' colonial past and the resilience of their people.
Experiencing the Culture: Festivals and Historical Sites
The Caribbean islands are not just about scenic beaches; they're rich in culture and history:
Festivals: Each island has its unique celebrations, like Trinidad's vibrant Carnival, Barbados' Crop Over Festival, and Jamaica's Reggae Sumfest. These festivals are brimming with music, dance, and local traditions.
Historical Sites: The Caribbean's history is a tapestry of indigenous, African, and European influences. Explore colonial forts, plantation houses, and museums to understand the complex past of these islands. Notable sites include the Brimstone Hill Fortress in St. Kitts and the UNESCO-listed Old Havana in Cuba.
Understanding the Climate and Best Travel Times
Knowing the best time to visit is crucial for an enjoyable Caribbean trip:
Tropical Climate: The Caribbean generally enjoys a warm, tropical climate year-round, making it a great destination at any time.
Hurricane Season: It's important to note that hurricane season runs from June to November. While this period can offer fewer crowds and lower prices, there's a higher risk of storms.
Peak Season: The dry season from December to April is the peak travel time, offering sunny, dry weather ideal for island-hopping.
Eco-Tourism and Environmental Responsibility
Sustainability is key to preserving the Caribbean's natural beauty:
Eco-Tourism Initiatives: Many islands are focusing on sustainable tourism. This includes eco-friendly resorts, conservation projects, and promoting awareness about preserving natural habitats.
Responsible Practices: As a traveler, you can contribute by respecting wildlife, choosing eco-friendly activities, and minimizing your environmental footprint. Participating in conservation activities, like beach clean-ups or wildlife monitoring, can enhance your travel experience.
Navigating Legalities: Visas and Entry Requirements
Each Caribbean island has its own set of visa and entry requirements:
Visa Policies: Some islands may require visas based on your nationality, while others offer visa-free entry for short stays. Always check the visa requirements well in advance.
Entry Requirements: Depending on the island, you may need to show proof of return or onward travel, accommodation bookings, and sometimes vaccination certificates.
Legal Assistance: For hassle-free travel planning, consider using services like GovAssist. They can guide you through the visa application process, ensuring you meet all the requirements for a smooth Caribbean adventure.

Top Restaurants in Turks and Caicos
Whether you are a foodie or just looking to experience Caribbean style island cuisine, there are several great Turks and Caicos restaurants to choose from. The islands of this tropical paradise offer a diverse menu of local and international cuisines, along with stunning ocean views and island music. There are also several food-focused festivals that have been organized in recent years. You can learn more about the culture of the islands through these events.
Top restaurants in Turks and Caicos also offer delicious cocktails. Besides the classics, you can try a Brulee Banana Split or Iced Latte. If you're staying at an all-inclusive, you may be able to have a meal for one. Many resorts also offer unlimited drinks. Most tourists only have a short amount of time to sample the islands' gastronomy. Therefore, it's a good idea to make reservations.
The best Turks and Caicos restaurants are renowned for their fresh seafood. These dishes are influenced by the raw materials available on the island as well as the ethnic cuisines of the various populations that call the islands home. Some of the most popular fish to eat here include wahoo, mahi-mahi, and red snapper.
One of the most popular restaurants in the islands is the Coco Bistro. This eatery is a family-owned business that serves up delicious seafood and is close to many hotels. They even have a to-die-for coconut pie on their menu.
The Caicos Cafe is a Mediterranean-influenced restaurant. Their catch of the day is lightly spiced and accompanied by an array of pasta dishes. They also serve pecan-crusted conch and curry grouper. At the helm of the restaurant is Chef Andrew Mirosch, who emphasizes quality and wellness. He also cultivates his own herb garden for use on the restaurant's menu.
Miss B's yellow house is a family-run eatery that has a menu filled with local seafood. It's located in the North Caicos town of Cockburn Town. When you visit the restaurant, you can also enjoy live music. Aside from the tasty seafood, you can also sample homemade dishes such as fried plantains and jerk chicken.
Grace Bay Restaurant is a waterfront chic palapa-style open-air restaurant that features the island's bounty of seafood. Guests are expected to dress in island-chic attire. Guests of the restaurant enjoy exquisite service. In addition to their dining experience, they can take in the sights of the ocean from their private patio.
Turks and Caicos are known for its beaches and water sports. However, if you're looking for a quiet getaway, you may prefer a less populated island such as Grand Turk. Several restaurants are located in this island, and some of them are open just for dinner.
For a more upscale dining experience, you can visit the Ritz-Carlton. Their BLT Steak is a contemporary take on the classic American steakhouse. They serve fresh seafood and a premium wine list.
Another great restaurant in Turks and Caicos is Indigo at Wymara. The restaurant is located on the resort and is helmed by Chef Andrew Mirosch. He is known for his focus on fresh local ingredients and the natural essence of premium products. Guests can also dine on fresh sushi at the restaurant.

The first Charmie Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year. Tim is in New York, decking the halls of his new apartment, anticipating the return of his lovah who he hopes will bring suitcases full of BDSM toys for their playroom. What's that? He's going to the Cayman Islands to see his kids? WOE IS ME! How long will Tim have to wait to have the life he dreams of? Fifteen years until Ford is 18! LOL Kidding aside, I bet he'll be going to the porn festival in Turks Caicos after Xmas.🤭
