Happy Monday everyone! Since I'm not home very often, the weekend never feels long enough, but they're always great when spent with my family. Since it was Mother’s Day, it was nice to have the time to be with loved ones, especially my mom—there should definitely be more days dedicated to her A Now that I’m feeling a bit reenergized, it’s time to tackle the new week ahead—it’s going to be a busy one! We have three trips planned for this week, which seems a little crazy, but I’m excited. I can’t wait to tell you more about our upcoming trips tomorrow.

Before our new adventures begin, let’s go back to our busy week in Milan. I’m very excited to be sharing this second look we shot while in Italy because I’m a huge fan of these relaxed, 70s inspired ensembles—from the sweater to the jeans, it’s very me! Usually when I wear flared pants like this they’re long enough to hit the floor, so I have to pair them with sky-high heels, but these ones are a bit different. I love the button-up details on these high-waisted denims and the fact that the flare is more on the shorter side of the spectrum. It’s very flattering, elongating my legs in just the right way and allowing you to actually see the shoes (which is always a bonus!), plus I think the length makes the look a little more modern. To make this laid-back look a little more special, I wanted to add some statement accessories with a classic timepiece and sunglasses from Salvatore Ferragamo. These sunglasses are very special in that they give off a vintage yet contemporary vibe through their design and color. The oversized frames are suitable for any daytime look and the gold buckle detailing along the sides enhances their sophistication. I love that they can go with anything and stand out without taking your attention away from the rest of the outfit.
