Dabi x FemGeten

I was suggested the idea of this story by kannra21

If your reading this, I hope its how you wanted the story!

Dabi x FemGeten

Shigaraki stood infront of a group of villains, announcing groups for the next project. Most people were fine with their group, Twice and Toga worked together fine. Compress and spinner worked together well too, alonge with shigaraki and kurogiri. Dabi was rather annoyed when learning he was put in a group with Geten. Geten and Dabi look at Shigaraki with a dissiproving look, either Shigaraki diden't notice or diden't care. Once Shigaraki had finished talking, Dabi and geten had both told Shigaraki about there dissiproval. "So? I don't care about your dissagreement." Shigaraki continued, " I don't give a shit, get to work." Dabi gives Shigaraki a feed up look, causeing Shigaraki to continue talking. " Your powers can balance eachother out. getens quirk will stop you from over heating, and Dabi's quirk will keep you from freezing." Dabi and Geten start bickering about how they don't want to work with eachother. Shigaraki snarls, " I don't care what you WANT." Dabi takes a deep breath and calms himself. If he can deal with the leauge he can deal with some ice cube. Dabi thinks and agrees to work. As long as he is going to be able to meet and fight Endeavour in the war, he was going to keep going. Dabi was following Geten around, incase she needed help. Although she was a pretty good leader. Dabi and Geten were finishing something up when Dabi looks around. He notices that shes onr of the only women here. yet, she is one of the strongest, and she wears a hood over her face and goes by 'Ice Man'."So, whats will the name 'Ice Man'?", Dabi askes. Geten sighs, and pulls down her heavy hood. He had to admit she was quite beautiful, but he wasen't going to tell anyone that. Geten walks up to one of the members, giving them orders. One of the members had refenced to take orderss or even listen. "Listen Doll face, you should watch that mouth of yours.", one of the men even attacked her after she persisted. Dabi Quickly defended her, he diden't like her but he was discusted at the men ien front og him. Dabi then yelled ordrs at them with a snarl, he was quite pissed off now. They had started quirk training, which would be helpful if they were to end up fighting Shoto. Deika is placed in Okumikawa, which is around mautiple rivers, and since geten needs a water source they thought it would be nice to train there. Dabi and Geten ended up fighting against eachotherr for training, and dof course geten won. Geten in the process had soaked her entire jacket. "Here, ice Cube", Dabi lended her his jacket. "Can you stop calling me 'ice cube'?" Dabi just laughed of the queastion and they contined. Dabi and Geten were getting ready to return to the base with her. As he looked at her he notice how small she was. He was staring for a second, but moved his vison to the floor. He felt like he needed to protect her. Even though she was stronge and had just on eagaist him, he felt like she was small and needed protecting. When they returned geten took a Shower, walking out dressed. She was having a hard time brushing all her hair, and asked Dabi to help. He brushed her hair the same way he used to brush Fuyumi's hair. He was suprized in himself that he was here, brushing Getens silky, damp, white hair. He brushed his fingures threw her hair a few times. The more he brushed the more fluffy getens hair got. Geten and Dabi even ended up getting cold soba togtherr, and Dabi diden't hate it. maybe Ice Cube wasen't so bad. Geten talked about herself and the things she likes, dislikes, been threw. Dabi sighed talking about the leauge and vagley about his past. As their walking back to the hidout, Geten kisses him on the cheek and thanks him for the cold soba and time spent together. Dabi realized he was too deep in all this, he was emotionally atached to geten. He wanted to go into war without connections, without realations, without emotional attachments to people. He regrets it now, but it's too late. He's too afraid to lose her now, he doesn't want her fighting in the war. Now hes attached, now he's in too deep.

A small glimpse into what I believe their relationship is like

So to say their relationship was a surprise to everyone was an understatement

It wasn't that they were trying to keep it quiet, in fact Dabi didn't give a shit and would shower Geten in kisses and hold her hands all the time.

Truthy everyone saw the how close the pair was but nobody understood how the relationship came to be as they had quite literally beaten the shit out of each other

Dabi just shrugged and said “shit happens”

Putting aside the bizarreness of their relationship they were perfect for each other

They were so perfect for each other it was scary, their wasn't anything they didn't do together, not a secret they didn't know about each other

It was like the fight for dominance was an odd affirmation of their love or a strange love at first fight.

“How’s it going with Hawks, Dabi?” Geten said, placing herself on Dabi’s Lap.

“As expected, he seems loyal for now but Hero’s as much as they are a plague are sneaky.” He said kissing her neck gently.

“God I love to see people in love but could you get a room!” Twice said gagging on air.

“Well I'm going to be out of your hair anyway, I got business things to attend to.” She said getting up with a smile.

“Hold on, I can help with whatever it is.” Dabi said, making moves to follow her.

“Uh uh, do you not remember when I kicked your ass in our fight. Don't need your help cutie.” She said giggling.

“You? Kicking my ass? I remember you running to save your boss like a baby. There for forfeiting the fight.” Dabi said, grabbing Geten and lifting her from the ground.

“Because you brought a giant monster in the city, like who does that? Put me down you, Asshole. Even if I didn't go help Boss I would’ve kicked your ass, Bacon bits. You were about to self-destruct.” Geten said as Dabi now carrying her over his shoulder.

“Uh huh, just keep making excuses, our people work together now don't they? I'm helping you whether you like it or not. Wasn't exactly asking babe. Also, You wanna spar later, this city of yours is boring.” Dabi said as they walked out.

“Sure, of all the things I love about you I do love wiping the floor with you, sweet checks!” Geten said laughing as they disappeared out of the room.

“Love is beautiful.” Toga said, playing with her knife.

“Is that what just happened?” Twice said warily.

What do you think of dabi x femgeten?

I’ve actually never heard of this combination (I did hear of Dabi x Geten tho) but of fem geten I haven’t. I usually don’t cater to ships where they are canonically of two sexes and only one of them ends up being a different gender (it makes it look more of a forced het thing. Unless both characters are headcanons as bisexual/pan then it would be weird however .. if we had both characters being female in this scenario I’d probably cater to it)

As a whole I’ve been intrigued with the dabi x geten ship and wish it had more people supporting it.

Tbh I’m not a fan of one person in an mlm or wlw ship being genderbended to make the ship straight (I don’t mind if they’re made a trans man/woman, but not cis)

I don’t know enough about Geten to really get a feel for his personality/the ship dynamic, anyway. If I saw more content for them (like art) my opinion might improve

I honestly found this boring…it’s a bit too over the top for me. I mean I get the crude jokes/humour but it was too in your face loud. I can’t explain it. But it may appeal to others who enjoy crazy enthusiastic characters who are very loud.

Like I said, it's very uncomfortable to talk about such essential things on anon. And judging others by their opinions and personal preferences whilst expressing your own on anon is really rude and attacking. That's number 1.

Number 2, personally I have nothing against trans people. Moreover, you're welcome to enjoy what you want. That's the reason why everyone is partaking in fandoms, to have fun.

And yeah dabihaul could be toxic but like at least kai wouldn’t hate Dabi for being “weak” he’d just hate him for his quirk or being like dirty (which is just kai being kai) or something niche like that, funny enough I could see them hate fucking though, but I don’t think he’d be like abusive to him, overhaul is honest he’d just be like “given the choice between you and I, I’ll always chose myself” and that would be the end of it.

as for geten I honestly can’t see him hate fucking Dabi due to his ideals like he’d just view him as insignificant and weak and all their interactions are him calling him that too so I can’t see it ever happening.

But yeah like the femgeten thing is weird too like why are you forcing a gender on a character just to make some toxic ship work? when shipping personality should always come first not gender (unless the character has a canon sexuality then we should respect that obvi) if they genuinely shipped geten and Dabi then geten’s gender wouldn’t matter to them.

And the funniest part of it all is that before we even knew what geten looked like most of the fandom (and most of the DabiGeten shippers I’ve seen on the plf tag) thought Geten was Natsuo

okay so I have a complaint involving our newest and least favorite Touya Todoroki suspect...

I’ve noticed that when people thought geten was a girl they were all like “omg she’s so cute let’s ship her with dabi!” and now that it was revealed he’s a boy the same people are like “f u c k him, he’s trash.” “he’s a freak obsessed with eugenics.” real interesting...

I kind of find it funny how some people were willing to ignore how shitty & hateful geten was when it benefited their headcanon, but as soon it didn’t they suddenly began to hate him?

It was never a secret the asshole was obsessed with eugenics either. even before we knew what he looked like we knew his beliefs, I mean he talked about them enough to make it basically impossible to forget.

like I didn’t hear a single complaint about geten being ableist / obsessed with eugenics from the (ex) dabi x geten shippers until it was revealed he was a boy... like from the moment we first “saw” him we knew his beliefs...

he was part of the liberararion army, they’re all obsessed with eugenics, it was never a secret so there really is no excuse for not hating him sooner for his beliefs / suddenly hating him for his beliefs after claiming he was your new fave.
