to conclude on the ship of theseus: i don't like discussing semantics that much anyways. the "dilemma" sounds fun and almost magical to me at first, but at the end of the day, language is an invention. if the crew on the ship consider it the same one because it got them from here to there, then so be it. i know there are situations where wording matters more, such as law and research, but in this case, the exact name and definition doesn't matter, and i thought too deeply about it. 

i think that's a good representation of a lesson i learned a bit late in life; sometimes it's better to just let things go. i think i'm a stubborn person, which is why i held on to so many things. these things cloud my periphery and give me tunnel vision. sometimes things aren't a or b, nor black or white, and that's how they're supposed to be. not that i fully give up on the mysteries of life i run into, i love to ask questions still, but there's so many hills to die on, so many places to go, and only so much time.

According to the County Superintendent Registrar of Somerset Council, the church sent the marriage registration information directly to the GRO: “it’s a church entry”
