Feb 4 - Still on my book-adding kick. Spent a big chunk of the afternoon and evening on it, added 9 fanfics (one a 4 part series). I'm now up to 26 fanfiction ebooks added over the last week (when I'm not even up to a full seven days of making additions yet) compared to 41 added all of last year. And this, of course, doesn't count all the additional parts I've appended to existing anthologized series.

BTW, the answer to why I added so few in 2023? No Man's Sky, which I picked up the spring of the year before, and which largely consumed my free time until late into 2023. Okay, and a few other games I played during the same time period, but mostly NMS. I've basically got close to two years backlog of fics to wade through (more, really, since I've always had a backlog - but it used to usually be <40 pages of history and is currently 121). My kingdom for filters on AO3 History, particularly including the ability to sort on the number of times I've visited a fic. Since most of my reading happens with completed fics, the visited stat is actually pretty useful for knowing how much I liked a fic; one of the ones I added today I've visited 10 times before (though not necessary re-downloaded and re-read it all those times). About frickin' time I got a copy of it into my personal library!

Made beef stew for supper.

And now to go game a bit before I actually head off to bed. Probably more tweaking/building lots in TS4. Possibly LotRO. Small chance of both.

Feb 4 - Nothing special today.

Supper was a big salad of romaine, sweet red pepper, cucumber, green onions, celery, homemade croutons (bread fried in butter with garlic), and some diced up cooked chicken burgers for protein. Because there was a bunch of tail ends of things that needed using up, and when I looked at them is was obviously a salad.

Feb 5 - Baked a loaf of brown bread; we plowed through that oatmeal bread pretty quickly.

Supper tonight was some of the chili from the freezer, with basmati rice.
