Thank you again for another great year allowing us to share original photographers with you. We will be taking a break and return January 8th. In the meantime we have set up a queue filled with photos from our past featured blogs this year. Oh hello! You asked for the ability to reply to posts from your secondary blogs. This post exists to tell you that we’ve made it possible for you to reply to posts from your secondary blogs. That is all. 

Just kidding. Some benefits of this:

You can now reply to a post from your hyper-specific fandom secondary.

You can now keep the conversation going without reblogging the same post over and over again.

Your primary will remain hidden so you can communicate on posts from your secondary blog as if you were replying from a primary blog. Neat!

How do you do this, you might ask. On web and mobile, when you go to reply to a post, simply click or tap on your avatar, and select your secondary blog of choice from the list that appears.

Tumblr now disables custom pages by default and no longer allows users to turn off promotional banners from displaying on them. From a user perspective, it feels like the use of custom pages is being discouraged. It also feels like Tumblr prioritizes the social media aspects of the platform over the blogging aspects. Interest in the web revival is growing, and with that in mind, it would be awesome to see Tumblr embrace it with a renewed focus on custom pages and improvements for bloggers. :-)

We also love the blogging side of Tumblr, but unfortunately we haven’t had as much time to focus on it with our recent work on Communities. But blogging on Tumblr isn't going anywhere! We’re just not sure yet when we'll work on features like custom pages.

CONCEPT DOODLES for an AU I dabbled in with a few friends after the winter king episode but kinda forgot about after the Fionna and Cake finale... I decided to revisit it and explore a little more after coming to terms with everything LOL... So, it's another "Winter King doesn't die immediately after his crown gets nuked" AU, but THIS TIME he's just dying really slowly (like Simon in the Betty episode) and ALSO joins Fionna, Cake, and Simon on their search for magic crowns. There's no logic behind this tbh, we just wanted to put him through The Horrors. And make them all friends. But mostly The Horrors. :) (he only gets to live as a treat, because I think he's funny).
