I think it's safe to say after 10 years, Hiccup's redesign is one of the badass things ever.
It's not only cool, but it stays so true to Hiccup from HTTYD1.
Still one of my most relatable and favorite characters ever, if not the best.

MirrorMask (2005) is a whole vibe. It's what made me fall in love with art.

Yes The Lighthouse came out in 2019, but I think we as monsterfuckers moved on farrrr too quickly from this movie for my taste

This is very much unrelated to my usual content but I watched Anastasia for the first time ever last month at the age of 19 and HOLY SHIT! Like I had been told before that it was good but THAT GOOD?! Omg I LOVED IT!!!
I dont think you guys understand. In a singular watch, this movie has single-handedly sky rocketed itself to anywhere in top 5 favorite animated movies for me. Like it didn’t beat out Sleeping Beauty (1959) as my #1 favorite of all time, but damn, Anastasia is currently fighting Beauty and the Beast for the number #2 spot, and they might have to settle on a tie cause I love both 😭 Regardless, this Don Bluth Masterpiece has secured a spot ATLEAST somewhere within my personal top 5.
Let me reiterate, I only watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago. I have no nostalgia for the movie whatsoever (something which I do have for my other faves), so you KNOW its good when it manages to climb up the ranks without nostalgia. Heck, I didn’t even really grow up with Don Bluth. (I’m actually really surprised my brother and cousin didn’t introduce me to more of his films cause they both grew up in the 90s. Like both were born around the early 90s) The only movies by him I remember watching as a kid are Thumbelina when I was like 7(and even then I didn’t really watch it that much because the specific DVD I owned of it was only available in English, and as a kid I wasn’t fluent in English yet, I only really spoke Spanish), and All Dogs go to Heaven when I was 12 (I’ve only seen it once cause it made me cry so much).
My point is Anastasia is amazing and I only regret not watching it sooner.
