This month I got to go to a ~fancy~ garden party event, and made my fascinator to go with my dress! I've spent years collecting fascinators (wooo! sales!) but didn't have one that would go with my outfit >.<

This was only the 3rd fascinator I've made - I used a premade sort of base that you could sculpt in your own way when my original plan fell through, I was really pleased with how it came out! ^.^ (this was put onto a dark brown satin hairband, but the mannequin head was too big to put it on without potentially snapping it, and I only had one so wasn't chancing it lol) Hoping to make more fascinators soon! ^.^ so if anyone has any favoured help resources - especially those aimed at left handers cos I've learnt from embroidery that some techniques are a nightmare as they need to be approached differently, please share them!

These inner thoughts leave a mark on the outside, The result of my fascination with people who seem to have an irregular mind and the resulting changes in their expression is shown in my art.

Fred Phelps was the Godfather and  pastor of the Westboro Baptist church, an American church that preaches views that most would denounce as extreme and horrible. I wanted to paint him not like the madman that most see him as, but make an honest portrait of him as just him
