hi thinking about fangirls now and how Edna is SOOOO aromantic coded like… her only romantic interest is (basically) completely unobtainable. She seems more interested in the “narrative” and also escaping her current life than ACTUALLY being in love with Harry.

Also the lines “that was every story I’d ever been told/unless I was half of someone else I would never be whole” and “I don’t need to be in love to feel loved or like someone that I wanna be” literally couldn’t be more aro if they TRIED

Anyways I could write an essay about Edna being aromantic bc it’s canon to me

Caroline gets more focus in the london ver. and her own song, but it's not that long and I cant find it :'/

Either the cop murder in Edna's fic gets changed to a motorcycle chase or the chase happens before the murder, not sure

There seems to be a third concertgoer alongside Yael and Georgie named Siobhan, but I'm not sure if she's an early removal or late arrival

related to the last point: Yael and Georgia's roles were originally taken by a pair of twins in the suuuper early runs it seems

this isn't really a change but in the script I have Jules admits that she didn't get Edna a ticket at school, but from what I can tell, she does it at a pool in all the productions??? I'm guessing the one I have is for school performances or smth

edna is a character who i will defend to the ends of the earth. her crimes are objectively funny. she (14) taught herself to drive a car, waited outside of the bathroom, chloroformed harry styles, kidnapped him, tied him up in her room, DUMPED HIM IN THE WOODS, and then GOT AWAY WITH IT???????? like thats just so funny. thats hilarious. my girl did nothing wrong every australian 14 year old actually has a pass where theyre allowed to kidnap harry styles and dump him in the woods. thats legal over here so long as youre 14.
