Daiichikan RX-7
'93
Dengeki Tuned!
HKS FD3S RS
Shocking speed! 1 minute 2 seconds 67
Rival Group A!!: The fastest tuned HKS FD3S RS in history!
At the end of 92nd year, HKS made an emergency call to this magazine!
On December 11, 1992, the editorial department received a phone call from HKS. The content was that HKS would be testing the FD3S RX-7 at the Tsukuba circuit, which was created by fully utilizing the technology that HKS had cultivated so far, so he wanted me to be there.
Since he contacted me like this, he must have a lot of confidence. The best lap of the Tuned RX-7 so far at Tsukuba is the Night Sports RX-7 on August 25th last year with a time of 1 minute 6.1 seconds. Can it be shortened? The editorial department immediately headed to the Tsukuba circuit with a cameraman.
At 7:00 am on December 16th, Hagiwara, who was behind the steering wheel of the Group A HKS GT-R, got into the RX-7 named "FD3S RS" and the test started. The RX-7 laps smoothly, with the high-pitched exhaust note that is unique to the rotary. And the time that was beaten out was 1 minute 2.67 seconds! Fastest done in HA in the past.
Even looking at the time attack, it was a good time to beat the fastest production car based on the N1 specification Falken GT-R (1 minute 2.85 seconds). I was very clear about this. Furthermore, as a result of changing to slick tires as a reference, the time was reduced to 1:01:30!
Showing such amazing speed As for the tuning specs, the 13B engine body remains normal, but HKS specializes in turbo tuning + suspension and dynamic system enhancements centering on the TA45S turbine. With this specification, the maximum boost is 1.2kg/cm at 460ps.. The boost pressure during the test was 1.0 to 1.1kg/cm and Mr. Hagiwara said, "If the settings are adjusted more, the time should be shortened."
This FD3S RS HKS was developed with the aim of being a fast and fun sports car that can be used from the street to the circuit. Can't wait for the release!
PIC CAPTIONS
The test was conducted with Advan A029R tyres on AVS wheels. Changing to slick tires improved the time by 1.37 seconds.
Commemorative photo of HKS staff after the test. I really can't wait for the release of FD3S RS
The RS starts up the first hairpin and accelerates. The rotary exhaust note was also very impressive.
engine: Equipped with a turbo-tuned TA45S full turbine kit from HKS, the output is slightly over 400ps. It's amazing that the engine body remains normal now.

The article will examine how the weather affects tyre choice, looking at things like moisture content, temperature, tread design, and tyre pressure. When selecting the best tyres look for falken tyres Bahrain their unique driving demands and climate, drivers may make well-informed selections by knowing how weather affects tyre performance.
Introduction to Weather Conditions and Tyre Performance
Weather conditions when driving may have an enormous influence on your overall effectiveness and security on the road. A vital component that is frequently disregarded is tyre selection. Selecting the appropriate tyres according to the weather may have a significant impact on handling, grip, and even longevity.
1. Importance of Tyre Selection Based on Weather
Imagine driving on sweltering hot asphalt with tyres meant for rainy weather or attempting to maneuver a road covered in snow with tyres meant for summer use. Both situations would impair the functioning of the car and your safety. Because of this, it is essential to choose tyres that are made specially to function properly in the current weather.
2. The Relationship Between Weather Conditions and Tyre Safety
The efficacy and safety of your driving may be significantly impacted by the weather. Tyre selection is a key factor that is often overlooked. Choosing the right tyres for the conditions may make an enormous difference in handling, grip, and even durability.
Understanding the Influence of Temperature on Tyre Selection
The performance of tyres is influenced by temperature, so keep that in mind while choosing the correct tyres for your car.
1. Effects of Cold Temperatures on Tyre Performance
Tyre rubber may harden in freezing weather, which may decrease traction and make it more difficult for the tyres to stay on the road. Better grip is provided by winter or all-season tyres with rubber compositions specifically suited for colder climates, ensuring your car stays stable in severe conditions.
2. Impact of Hot Temperatures on Tyre Durability
Tyre deterioration and wear can be exacerbated by elevated temperatures. Inadequately constructed tyres might suffer from increased tread wear, less traction, and even blowouts. Choosing car tyres Manama with the right tread pattern and heat-resistant materials can assist in ensuring improved performance and lifespan in hot conditions.
Exploring the Impact of Rain and Wet Conditions on Tyre Performance
Having the proper tyres is essential to preserving control and safety on wet roads, which may be dangerous.
1. The Importance of Proper Traction in Wet Weather
The chance of hydroplaning is decreased by tyres with good wet traction qualities because they swiftly distribute water. You can operate safely even in heavy rain thanks to the distinctive tread patterns and rubber compositions on these tyres, which improve traction on wet roads.
2. Considerations for Hydroplaning and Tyre Selection
When a film of water accumulates between the tyres and the road, it causes hydroplaning, which impairs steering. To reduce the likelihood of hydroplaning, choose tyres with deep tread patterns, large grooves, and water-channeling capacity. Selecting tyres made to prevent hydroplaning will increase your safety when driving on rainy roads.
Factors to Consider for Snow and Ice Conditions in Tyre Selection
Choosing the proper tyres becomes even more important since snow and ice provide some of the most difficult driving conditions.
1. The Role of Tyre Tread Patterns in Snowy Conditions
For traction on icy conditions, tyres with specific tread patterns that include biting edges, sipes, and deep grooves are necessary. You can travel over icy roads with confidence thanks to these features, which also aid with traction maintenance, snow evacuation, and improved handling.
2. Winter Tyre Options for Enhanced Traction on Ice
Regular tyres have poor traction in icy circumstances, making it difficult for them to keep their hold. Winter tyres provide a better grip on snowy terrain because they include rubber compositions that do not harden in below-freezing conditions. When driving on ice, the softer rubber grips the road more securely and gives you more control and stability.
Keep in mind that choosing the appropriate tyres for the weather does not just matter about performance; it also matters about your safety and the protection of those around you. Thus, make sure you have the right tyres for the weather the next time you drive. Be careful when you are out there!
