Pazar günü de aynı şekilde hiç de özensiz gözükmüyor. Listenin en tepesinde yer alanlar; Avustralyalı drum & bas’çıları Pendulum, ama bizi en çok merak ettiren ele avuca sığmayan rapçiler, Busta Rhymes oldu kibaşı çeken 2ManyDJs ve Laurent Garnier ile başa baş ilgi çekiyorlar. Herşeyin nasıl olacağını hep beraber göreceğiz. Techno tarafında ise; Luciano, Mathew Jonson, Paul Ritch ve Marco Carola vs Loco Dicehayranlarına daha sakin performanslar sergilerken, Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims ve Adam Beyer herkesi alaşağı edecek gibi görünüyor. Gerçek rakamlara göre, Mika and The Chemical Brothers beklenen 200.000 katılımcının bu Orta Çağ kalesi içinde konumlanan alana gelmesini sağlarken; Faith No More ve Suicidal Tendencies ise bolca kafa sallamanıza neden olacak. Elektronik müzik dinlemek isteyenler için, dans alanı Crookers, Boys Noize ve Erol Alkan ile yüksek oktanlı bir başlangıç yapacak. Ve Perşembe günü de, Ovum’un 15. yılını kutlayan Josh Wink ile devam edecek. Cuma ise, Ricardo Villalobos sahnede olurken, Pazar günü ise Pendulum ve Chemical Brothers’ın sarsıcı performansıyla festivalin kapanışı gerçekleşmiş olacak.

10 GÜN İZİN

Dayanıklılık testi mi? Yoksa özenli bir seçim mi? Her ne olursa olsun, Ghent’in 10 Gün izin (10 Days Off) Festivalibirbirini takip eden 10 gün için hummalı bir hazırlıkla başlıyor. Ve bu sene 16.’sı düzenlenen festivalde etkinlikler genellikle Gentse Feesten’in bir parçası niteliğinde olup Ghent bölgesine yayılan 3 ayrı festivali de kapsamakta. Ve bu sayede Avrupa’da kendi türünde düzenlene en büyük festival olma özelliğine sahip bulunmakta. Her güne ait programın ve akışın tüm detayları henüz ilan edilmemiş olmakla birlikte, ilk dalga duyuruların en az geçtiğimiz senelerdeki kadar ses getirmesi bekleniyor. Techno zemininden değişiklikler göstermeye devam etmekle birlikte, katılımcılar İngiliz bass müzik tınıları (Joy Orbison, Benga), progressive progressive (John Digweed, Guy Gerber), electro (Fagget Fairys, Felix Da Housecat) ve Amerikan house müzik (Kerri Chandler) duymaya da şimdiden hazırlıklı olmalılar. Bu esnada, 2000 And One, Efdemin ve Thomas Brinkmann ise halen daha geleneksel tarzı temsil etmeye devam edecekler.

ERİ

Bu sene 21.’si düzenlenecek olan Eri!(Melt!) festivali endişesiz sıkıntısız ve genç bir katılımcı kitlesini hedefleyen ve orkestralarla ritmler arasında eksiksiz uyum yakalayan bir festival olma niteliğini taşımakta. Kıyamet sonrası dönemlerdeki kömür madeni, Ferropolis’te veBerlin’in birkaç saat dışında yer alan bu mekan, festivale hafızalardan kolay çıkmayacak bir zemin hazırlamakta ve gelenlere günü bütünüyle yaşamak, çadır kazıkları çakmak ve 3 günlük bir rahatlamam yaşamak üzere bu mekanda kalma imkanı sunuyor. Delphic ve The XX indie tarzdaki parçalarını vitrine çıkarırken; Four Tet, Mala and Bonaparte’ın yanısıra bu sefer de Jamie XX ile Selektor Sahnesi’nde Modeselektor küratörlüğünde ikinci bir solo performans sergiliyorlar. Booka Shade tarafından abumun en öne çıkan house ve techno parçaları, Carl Craig & Mike Banks’in folklorik Detroit kombinasyonları, ve Ostgut ailesinin yolculuğu da ayrıca sunuluyor olacak.

BAHÇE FESTİVALİ

Bu yıl da, Bahçe Festivali Temmuz ayının birbirini takip eden 2 haftasonunda devam ediyor olacak. Ve yine tarz olarak birbirlerine yakın DJ’leri, canlı etkinlikler ve clubber’larla tablo gibi güzellikte bir Hırvat köyü olan Petrcane’da biraraya getiriyor olacak. Yaymak üzere geldikleri müzik, bolca house ve disco olurken, mekanın karşı konulamaz güzellikteki bol güneş ışığı altında sürecek. Performanslar ana sahnenin karşısında bulunan -Tiki Bar ve Barbarella’s isimli kuru alanlarda- gerçekleşirken; bir yandan da deniz matineleri de (veya Argonaughty Tekne Partileri) gün boyu iki defa yelken açacak. Her ne kadar bu festival çok devasa isimleri getirmek konusuna odaklı olmasa da, yine de katılımcılar, aralarında 2020 Soundsystem, Hercules & Love Affair, Dixon, Metro Area’s Darshan Jesrani ve Henrik Schwarz gibi isimlerin de yer aldığı birçok ismi birarada görmekten memnuniyet duyacaklardır. Geçtiğimiz senelerdeki okyanus macerasının ardından, RA Petrcane’a gelmeye karşı koyamamıştı mesela ve başka bir sene d Berliners Sebo K ve Seth Troxler çapa atmak için bizimle birlikte olmuşlardı.

FREEROTATION

Eski bir atasözünün de dediği gibi, bozulmadıysa düzeltmeye uğraşma. Ve bu tam da Galler’in bu en önde gelen elektronik müzik festivali, Freerotation için de geçerli olan durum. Freerotation’daaralarında Move D, Soulphiction, Lakuti, Shackleton ve Portable’ın da bulunduğu grup ve müzisyenler kaçıncı senedir, 19. yüzyıldan kalan bu misafirhanede biraraya geliyorlar. Daha önceki senelerdeki misafirler ise house, techno ve dubstep türlerinin temsilcileri olan Sven Weisemann, Pigon (Efdemin ve RNDM ile birlikte), Ramadanman, Kowton, XDB, Wbeeza ve Andy Stott idi, ki katılımcılar bu isimleri yanında birçok taze yüzü de festivalde görecek olmaktan memnuniyet duyacaklar. DJ Bone ve Jus-Ed Amerika için birlikte bayrak sallayacaklarken, Juju & Jordash İngiltere adına ikinci kez festivalde olacaklar. Mike Dehnert ve Tama Sumo ise Berlin’in techno ve house tınılarını çalmak üzere katılacaklar. Freerotation yıldan yıla, haftasonu müzik festivalleri arasında en iyilerden biri olma özelliğini kazandı. Dolayısıyla halen üyelerinden birini sizi de davet etmeleri için ikna edememişseniz (zira biletler sadece Freerotation üyeleri aracılığıyla satın alınabiliyor), biraz daha zorlamanızda fayda var deriz..

ENA - Deep Seas

Stemming from Sarajevo, Bosnia by way of Copenhagen, Elena Carli Ćosović formerly of Fagget Fairys fame recently embarked on her newfound pop career under her new moniker of ENA. Taking a dive into Ćosović's pop world is her first single "Deep Seas", where ENA takes us into the water with her hazy, mermaid-like presence. Soft and easy with its lo-fi beats and Ćosović's gentle coos, ENA sings her siren song to funky guitar licks and sassy saxophone.
