I was just thinking about rewatching one of my favourite silly little shows last night... and today I turned it on to find it's being removed in 9 days 🙃 So I gotta binge it now but alas, I can also only get thru like 2 or 3 episodes at a time before the rotoscope makes me nauseous ☠️

I hate you lack of media preservation I hate you no dvd releases ever I am not buying this on fucking google play or vudu to lose the rights in a few years

Anyway if you want an absolute banger of a show that starts off silly and gets gradually deeper/angstier/more insane (but unfortunately ends on a major cliffhanger fyi), go watch Dream Corp LLC on hulu

I was going to do this back in 2016, but never got around to it. I couldn't do this nowadays because of my personal projects and schedule. I was looking back through old documents in Google docs and realized I've unintentionally done some of these with my project ULTRAMagic Alternate.

For number 1, I actually started to do this. I didn't get a song that jived with me and I wasn't happy with what I drew. And that's where I stopped. I literally haven't read some of these until now, ha!

Number 2 is weird for me as I feel fantasy, science fiction, and science fiction fantasy incorporate a lot of stuff. Plus Mythology, Occultism, and Hermeticism also open up a lot of opportunities. What would I be drawing? I guess romance, sports, or noire?

4 - I do that kind of stuff. A lot of my characters are taken from other scrapped works are recycled for UMAE and Phantasm LLC. Funny thing is that I've found prototype characters by going through my sketchpads. I should go digging through my old stuff for ideas again sometime.

Number 6 is really tempting.

8 - I really should get around to drawing ULTRAMagic Drifter... no spoilers, but he is non human in every sense of the concept.

10 - TEMPTING...

Number 11... Haha, I'm literally planning to introduce Cú Chulainn, Hades, Persephone, Lugh, Sun Wukong, Anansi, Kali, and others into UMAE. As for my favorite, it's Sun Wukong. I will note that Cú Chulainn is rousing my interest.

12 - how would I design such a fantasy character based on shorts and a t-shirt?

13 - thrones are also called Ophanim, fyi. Ahem, I've been meaning to draw an Ophanim character for some time now. Also I highly advise looking into The Infernal Dictionary if you like biblically accurate angels for character designs. A good chunk of demons are just as bizarre looking as angels.

14 - bonus points from me if you get a Slavic name... ahem, this is a good idea in general.

18 - definitely an interesting idea, given the nuances of the weather like cloud cover, temperature, wind speed, humidity, rainfall, etc. it's tempting to try this sometime.

I have done number 21 in SPADES for UMAE: The Spiritus Magni, goddesses of the lost pantheon of Atlantis... well, predominantly female. Drusa recently introduced Brutus and Manius is from another universe... and if you're curious to know more, check out UMAE, ha.

23 - I am sort of doing that. Dr. Reynard and General Drazhan both draw inspiration from Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

26 - I have one in the works...

I have technically done number 28 with Mary Pickford. She's an oddball, but the aesthetic I used was 1920s and she retains that into the modern era.

So pardon my nostalgia, but I felt like going through this for shits and giggles. I am definitely going to try a few of these as they sound very interesting to do.

30-Day Character Design Challenge

This might be helpful if you’re stuck in a rut with your designs! You can do them in any order you want, as long as you do #30 last.

Put your iTunes library, favorite Spotify playlist, etc. on shuffle and design a character inspired by the first song that comes up. Bonus: do this with a playlist of music you’ve never listened to before. Extra bonus: use an instrumental-only song.

Design a character in a genre you don’t normally draw (example: if you normally high fantasy characters, you could do sci-fi, steampunk, etc.)

Draw five mouths, each of which reveal a unique character. Bonus: all are making the same expression.

Grab your oldest sketchbook that you can find and pick an old character to re-design. Bonus: pick the character by opening to a random page instead of hand-choosing.

Design ten unique hairstyles. Bonus: do a turnaround of each one.

Go to this random aesthetic generator and draw a character inspired by the result. Bonus: make the design 100% serious, even if you get “dad wave” or “soap flapper.” 

Design seven pairs of shoes. Bonus: for some of the pairs, make the left and right shoes different, but still recognizable as a pair.

Draw a non-human character— the less human-looking, the better (so avoid things like elves, vampires, etc.). Bonus: Make up their species instead of using existing mythological creatures.

Design a character inspired by this poem. 

Create a color palette based on the colors in your bedroom, then design a character from this palette. Bonus: don’t use the colors of your walls or floor in your palette.

Pick your favorite mythological figure and create two designs for them: one that’s as historically accurate to their time period and culture as possible, and another that takes as many artistic liberties as you want (this could a modern AU, something in your typical style, etc.).

Design a high fantasy character whose outfit is based on whatever you’re wearing right now. 

Pick an order of angels and design a character based on/inspired by their description. The resulting character doesn’t necessarily have to be an angel. Bonus: pick Thrones, the giant wheels covered in eyes. 

Go to this random name generator and design a character for whatever name you get. Tip: you can click each name to learn its origin and meaning.

Design ten weapons. Bonus: Base each one off a real weapon from various historical periods, but with your own twist on it.

Create as many rough thumbnail designs as you can in half an hour. Then pick your favorite and flesh them out into a more detailed character. Bonus: don’t erase anything during the timed portion.

Pick an animal and draw a human character based on it. The final design shouldn’t have the animal’s ears, tail, markings, etc.— convey it entirely though the character’s build, clothing, hair, etc. Bonus: pick the animal from the ones featured in this video series.  

Design a character based on the weather wherever you are right now.

Create an outfit breakdown for a character from their underclothes to their outermost layers/armor/etc. This can be done either for one of your existing OCs or a new one.  Bonus: do a turnaround for this breakdown.

Design ten unique sets of eyes. Bonus: include makeup and/or eyebrows as well.

Make up a god/goddess/deity for a nonexistent religion, then design them. Bonus: describe the symbolism of each aspect of their design.

Design a normal, modern-day character, then three genre AUs for them (e.g. cyberpunk, fantasy, Renaissance-era, etc.). They should be clearly recognizable as the same character in all four versions.

Create a character whose design combines the aesthetics of the last three movies/TV shows you watched. 

Design five pieces of jewelry. Pick your favorite and create a full character design based around it. Bonus: incorporate a couple of the other pieces of jewelry into the design as well.

Pick a vehicle and design a character inspired by it. A human character, not a transformer. Bonus: use something other than a car or truck, like a plane, boat, tank, etc.

Create a character inspired by your favorite childhood stuffed animal.

Design four sets of hands. They don’t necessarily have to be human hands.

Design a historically accurate character for a decade between 1900 and 1990.

Design a haute couture-style dress based on one of your existing OC’s designs. Bonus: draw them in this dress.

Wildcard! Use everything you’ve practiced thus far to create any character design you want. The only requirement: fully flesh out their design, from sketching to line art to colors.

Go forth, have fun, and create some awesome characters! If you post what you create, feel free to tag them ‘characterdesigninspiration’

Here is a little bit of info about Coach Norman Murray : Norman is currently a Deacon at Praise Temple Apostolic Faith Church of Virginia in Woodford, VA. He currently serves under Pastor Terrence S. Brown. Norman was ordained in 2013 and has served in this capacity since. He is now part of the ministerial staff as he moves towards becoming a licensed minister. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Norman has lived in various cities along the east coast and mid-west. In 2008, the Lord saw fit to have Norman build his spiritual foundation in Minnesota. It wasn’t until March of 2009 when Norman decided to surrender his life completely to Christ and was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost. During this time, He was a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Roseville, MN where the late Bishop Charles Foye was the senior pastor.

Norman is also an entrepreneur & podcaster, having started Building Bridges LLC in 2020.

Most of his free time is spent being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. The Lord has blessed him to be married to Sister Shelby Murray for 30 years. They also have two children, Anthony, and Charisma and four grandchildren (Anthony Jr., Anari, Amora, & Adonis).

Fyi, my life off the internet is more important. So if my family needs me for a while, I'm choosing them. I'm breaking this down for everyone and myself :

I review music for 6 different playlists. All with a different purpose in mind.

There's 3 blogs that have separate themes from each other.

Then there's Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Plus, the business management courses I've taken online and the amount of time it's taken to apply it all myself for my own LLC.

That's my online life. My daily offline life looks like this :

Getting 2 kids to and from school 5 days a week.

Cleaning a 2-story home by myself.

Maintaining my physical activity every day for major weightloss.

Cooking Mediterranean meals 2-3 times a day.

Handling every appointment for 3 people.

And taking odd jobs when they are put online on top of looking for part-time positions right now.

I'm 1 person. This doesn't include any of the illness back home and emotional distress within my family. That's always in the back of my mind while I'm running through my day.

[All 1st world problems and situations that I'd prefer over many people's lives in the world. Im blessed to have these kinds of problems and circumstances. That doesn't mean it's not difficult.]

These are very broad details, so don't think I've given away the game plan. I'm making it clear for everyone and myself that I'm doing the thing and nothing can stop me. 💯

We had a fine large crowd but many did not post and I don't have everyone's names. All I know for sure is that Sammy D and Robert weren't here and that's why everything ran so orderly and smooth and quiet.

Faith (KID) accidentally deadlifted Shannon's 85 lb bar so fast and with such perfect form that we let her continue that for the entire EMOM, and then she rang the PR bell. FYI, that is 7 lbs more than the KID weighs, and 30 lbs more than we have ever allowed her to try in the past.

Miss Sugar (Goodrich) took me to the Richland CC where we followed Warren (Tripp on the Bag) thru 8 holes of the Members Championship. WG Birdied 4 out of the last 5 holes and came close to an Eagle. He will probable play with the last grouping tomorrow. After-which WG treated me to lunch in the Men's only Grill where WG seems to have more than 30 best buddies. One of them asked me if I knew Jeff King. I said NO. In the Gentlemen's Lavatory on a shelf behind the 6 sinks there were over 35 bottles of colognes & aftershave lotions lined up. That seems excessive.

I'm not really certain what Adrian Bozman's job is currently at CrossFit LLC, but he was here today. He has been on the Training Seminar staff forever, has been Head Judge at the CF Games for years, and maybe is the Director of Programming. Adrian has worked for CF for over 15 years, mostly in California, and recently moved to Middle TN. He proudly owns 30 acres in Pegram where he and Kim are putting down roots. Yes, he got a LHCF T-shirt.

Ironically (or NOT) cretins like the Cheney family are making Trump look good by comparison to the O’Biden regime. Given Ukraine nearly $100 BILLION because their border is more important than ours. Tried to start WW3 with Russia and China. Watching this movie called Hell House LLC

it’s one of those Blair Witch Project kind of movies and ngl it’s scary 

Basically this haunted house attraction opens for first time on Halloween but a “freak” accident happen and everyone that was there was very tight lipped about what happened

All footage is hand held and there’s interviews. It all feels real which adds to creep factor. Mostly because the supernatural events feel realer than say stuff in paranormal activity ( which wasn’t scary when I watched by myself)

I’m watching the director’s cut on amazon prime which is like 2 hours long. There’s the regular one but the cut version is basically how director wanted it be shown fyi

I’m still not full hour into the movie  but give it a watch pretty good. Got my lights on because I’m a punk like that lol
