FUCKED UP IN CLUB the more i think about it the more it makes sense because there has been quite a few instances of references to it already but unlocking SGs is different in extra but in fgo theyre shown to be keys that unlock both GATES and hEARTS and thats so fucked up!! bc dantes has been guarding guda a long time now that you could see him as like guda's Sentinel (not really, just correlating stuff) so of course hes head of security like deadass ofc he holds the key and entrusted it to a someone he TRUSTS IN before he left and its been shown several hundred times already that guda will always always never show their heart to literally anyone else unless water boarded to death but guda having their own SG if you think about it if you really think about it!!! even if theres no seraph going on unless BB revived it again means that dantes isthe first and servant to witness guda's soul and heart in its entirety and the key obtained must either be in the form of wholehearted trust or their view of monte cristo as evidenced by astrea interlude or he has witnessed and explored every nook crevice and cranny of their soul except for the heart and thus has triggered something that allowed him to gain a key but i wholeheartedly think its through the thorough bond they share that allows guda to subconsciously entrust the key to him no matter what because in this world of magic dreams reality and space time melding together in a way where you would lose your sense of time you need to have an anchor and a guard or some sort of protection to keep you afloat and if someone is willing to hold your hand up and face the waves together then who are you to deny help from a companion who Looked LOOKED at You. in your entirety and had resolved to protect you even should it be an everlasting hell that would span into centuries to eternity do i even have to mention the obvious outfits from their summer outfits thats just plain obvious already about their relationship i stfg istffggggggggg seeing a person's SGs are an act of invasion, love and affection as they are made up by the very very things of what makes the person..well themselves in their entirety from their morals and views and opinions, the color of their soul, what lies in their heart, the secrets so tightly seen by the very incarnation of vengeance the very man who has struggled yet had an iron will even in the face of utter despair chose love in the end he looked at their soul and it must have reminded him of the man saved by love. this human who believes in salvation must walk the path of salvation and not revenge so of course in seeing that in seeing such a soul he must have been dazzled by the brightness, blinded and dizzy and so cant help but protectthe star he held in his hands that would commonly burn with flames hot and scorching enough to burn sin itself. it was aglimpse in the apartment tower and in the second tower, he steeled his resolve and made an eternal vow that would reach beyond space and time, all the way to every other universe that has that star in it. keeping the key safe in his hold no matter what it takes
#side note op is delusional please forgive op#FUCK YOU MONTE CRISTO WORMS#GET OUTTT#im so sick of this man someone just hit me with hammers already haha#fate grand order#fgo#edmond dantes#edguda#guda#fujimaru ritsuka

The Gift (Javier x Reader) {MTMF}
Title: The Gift Rating: PG-13 Length: 2200 Warnings: None. Notes: You can find the Maybe Today, Maybe Forever Timeline here. Set in January 1997. This is part of the âbig angstâ that will be covered over this weekend and Monday. Summary: Reader considers the gift Javier gave her.Â

âDo I really want to open this can of worms?â You questioned, running your hand over the subtle curve of your stomach. âI think your daddy really wants me to.â You sighed heavily and sank back in your office chair. Your gaze flickered towards the stack of manila envelopes sitting on top of your file sorter. They had been sitting, right there, since your first day back after Laredo.Â
You had gotten Javier an engraved ring; the day you met, your birthdate, his, Josieâs, and enough room for the new babyâs birthdate. Javier had gotten you a stack of FOIAâd files from the DEA. Every mention of your name on the Pablo Escobar case. Every contribution you made to the Cali Cartel investigation. Buried within that bundle of files was also, as Javier had explained, incriminating evidence that the DEA had intentionally concealed your efforts.Â
Swallowing thickly, you pulled one of the files off the sorter. You bent the metal clasp straight and pulled it open. Your teeth dug into your bottom lip as you stared down at the painfully familiar letter heading.
Colombia felt like a lifetime ago.Â
That last year with the DEA had been a living hell.Â
Working for the Miami PD had been a breath of fresh air. You had a team that supported you, supervisors who respected you and valued you⌠You never had that with the DEA. Javier and Steve had been the only two at the DEA who seemed to give a shit what you said. You spent your entire career working five times harder than every man, only to get an eighth of the credit.Â
Or none.
You got up out of your chair, heading over to shut the door to your office, pulling the blinds shut on the little glass window. You sank back down in your seat, staring at the stack of neatly stacked papers that had been tucked into the folder.
Five folders symbolized the culmination of years of effort. From 1987 to 1993.Â
You leaned forward and pressed the speaker button on your desk phone, before clicking the speed dial button for Javierâs office. It rang once before he picked up, his voice exactly what you needed to hear right then. âHello?â
âHey, Javi.âÂ
âHey baby, I was just thinking about you.â Javier said warmly. âWhatâs up?â
âI finally opened the files and... â You laughed quietly, âI guess Iâm a little hormonal right now.â You rubbed under your eyes as you looked down at the top sheet of paper. âJust seeing my name and the DEA is⌠blast from the past.â
âYou were the best goddamn agent they ever had in Colombia. And you know it.âÂ
âOf course I know it.â You rolled your eyes. âI had to put up with you and Murph. I had to be good.â
âYou took down Carlos Lehder on your second day, baby. Do you have any idea how many years that asshole spent evading US forces? Second day and you fucking bag him. How many years has it been? Cause Iâm still proud of you for that.â
You felt your cheeks warm under his praise. Your fingers trembled as you flipped through the pages. âWhat were you thinking that night?â
âHmm?â
âAt the bar. I still remember this look you had⌠I couldnât figure it out.â You recalled, brows furrowed as you flipped to a page of reports that had Javierâs horrible handwriting printed between the margins.Â
âYou really wanna know?â
âSure.â You looked towards the phone. âWas it good?â
âWell, yeah.â Javier clicked his tongue against his teeth and chuckled. âWhat do you think I was thinking about, baby?â
âI figured as much.â You grinned, rubbing at the back of your neck as you settled back in your chair. âDamn⌠jealous since day one. Javier, have you always had a heart?âÂ
âIf you hadnât been so fucking⌠you.â Javi huffed softly.Â
A comfortable silence fell between you as you shuffled through the pages, you could hear the soft inhale and exhales coming from him on the other side of the line. You wished he were there with you, flipping through years of work together. But heâd gifted them to you to do with as you wished.Â
âYou trust this journalist?â
âHe uncovered the whole Tailhook Convention scandal.â Javier sighed heavily. âAnd that was a shit show.â
âYeah. I remember reading about it.â Trust the Pentagon to try to cover up a massive sexual assault scandal among their good ole boys. âSo heâs good. Heâs not afraid to get his hands dirty, but⌠is my story even that important?â
âBabyâŚâÂ
âIâm just one agent that got royally fucked over by the DEA. Doesnât it seem a little narcissistic to think Iâm so important that I need to have my name printed?âÂ
âSteve told me.â
âTold you what?â
Your heart sank.Â
Javier sighed. âAfter you left the bar that night. I didnât realize what he was doing, but in hindsight⌠I get it now.â He was silent for a moment, before he continued. âYou wanted to make a name for yourself. Thatâs what you told him, right?â
âI mean⌠Yeah.â You tucked the files back into the folder and reached for the second, peeling it open and dumping them out. There was a stack of square photos with a rubber band wrapped around them. Pictures from stakeouts, late nights⌠Steve was always documenting everything. He loved that goddamn camera.Â
They always had to go into the case files, except for a few you had stolen. âI mean⌠thatâs why I volunteered for Colombia. No one else was crazy enough to go there and I thought⌠thatâs my shot.âÂ
âAnd it was. You couldâve had it all, baby. But Iââ
âWere the best partner a girl could ask for, Javi. You and Steve were so good at your jobs.â You smiled wistfully down at a picture of the three of you. You had Javierâs aviators on and were wedged in between the two of them. âI wouldnât trade what we have for anything. I donât need my name in the history books.âÂ
âBut what about everyone else? What about Josie and the baby? What if they want to follow in their motherâs footsteps.âÂ
âGod, I hope they donât want to be DEA.â You laughed, âGood parents donât let their kids grow up to be feds.âÂ
âYouâre avoiding the topic.âÂ
âIf we start this, we have no idea where itâll go, Javi. An article like this⌠itâll have ramifications.â You cautioned. âEverything with the DEA comes at a cost.âÂ
âThis was your dream.â Javier pressed. âThey cut you out. Completely. You know it, I know it, Steve knows itâŚâ He sighed heavily. âJust call the guy. See where he wants to take this. He already knows the jist of this shit.âÂ
âI know.â You sat the photos aside and went through a stack of neatly typed notes that you had taken towards the end of the case. Some of the last stakeouts the three of you went on together. Good memories. Really good memories.Â
âWhat do we do, Javi? Do we tell them everything? You, me⌠the kids? Thereâs a lot more to this story than just me being cut out.â You pushed your fingers through your hair. âAnd SteveâŚâ
âKnows what I got you for Christmas. He helped me get them FOIAâd.â Javier clicked his tongue against his teeth and you wished you could see his face. âHeâs willing to burn the place down, baby. Just say the word.â
âWhat is he going to do?â You questioned. âTheyâve got two little girls.âÂ
âHeâs got plans to open his own consulting firm. Heâs playing it by ear.â Javier told you, âHeâs not thrilled with the DEA either.â He sighed heavily, âIâve got this faculty meeting in a couple minutes, but⌠Do you want to meet for lunch at Demetrio?â
You tucked the files back away in the envelope, picking up the business card with the journalistâs name on it. âYeah. Lunch sounds like a good idea. I think Iâm gonna call this guyâŚâ
âIâm proud of you.â
âI know you are.â
 ââ
 You passed your menu to the waiter, offering him a polite smile, âIâll just do the omelet. You can put the sausage on a side plate for him.â
âSomething besides water?â
âHot tea. Breakfast.â You looked towards Javier who was still mulling over the menu. âYou know you like their Monte Cristo, just order that.â
âIâm not sure if I want sweet.â Javier rubbed at the back of his neck.Â
âThe spicy eggs were good.â You recalled, taking the menu from him and looking it over. âSpicy Morning.â You pointed it out to Javier. âSomething like that?â You gave the waiter a sympathetic smile.Â
âIâll do the empanada special.â Javier finally decided, âCoffee instead of tea.âÂ
You rolled your eyes after the waiter left, âReally? I thought you hate how their empanadas were made.âÂ
He shrugged, scratching at his jaw. âIâm willing to give them a second chance.â Javier looked towards you then, âAre we going to do this?âÂ
âI think Iâm ready.â You chewed on your bottom lip as you reached across the table and squeezed his hand. âI called him. We spoke a little and⌠I felt good about it?âÂ
Javier held your gaze, âYou can stop at any time.âÂ
âI know I can, but⌠I do think this is the right thing to do. Someone has to stop it, right? And I mean⌠Theyâve got assholes like Chris working for them, but me? I get the ax? Itâs bullshit.â You squeezed his hand. âThank you.â
He rubbed his thumb over the back of your hand, âSo it was a good Christmas gift?â
You laughed, âI know I didnât seem very appreciative.â You tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. âBut I am.âÂ
God were you glad he had suggested exchanging gifts in private. Opening a box to find a stack of manila envelopes containing the sum of your efforts in Colombia had not been your ideal gift. It was one of the few times youâd raised your voice â and you couldnât really do that with Chucho sleeping down the hall.Â
It wasnât until Javier gave you the chance to calm down that you realized just how profound the gift had been. Two years ago you had come completely unglued because of the DEA. Finding out that your name had been struck from every file had been a painful realization. Javier had listened to you, remembered it, and worked to find a way to rectify it.Â
If you had any doubts about how he felt about you, that gift wouldâve made it abundantly clear. But you knew how he felt about you, about the life you shared with him. It had been a remarkably thoughtful gift.Â
âIâm just scared.â You admitted to him, rubbing your lips together thoughtfully. âWe both know what happens when you go up against the government. They are ruthless.âÂ
âI know, baby.â Javi squeezed your hand three times, before you both had to make room for the waiterâs return with the drinks. He sat Javierâs coffee down in front of him and your tea in front of you.Â
âThanks.â
âCan I get you anything else?â
âWeâre good, thank you.â You smiled, before looking back to Javier. âYou know, when I got into the government â the DEA â I never pictured myself going down this path. Calling journalists, setting up tell-alls.â You curled your fingers around your mug,Â
âWhen I went to Colombia, I didnât think Iâd come home with a family.â Javier rubbed at the back of his neck as he took a sip of coffee.Â
You nudge his foot under the table. âMe neither.â You shook your head with a laugh. âWe should fuck with them next Christmas. Send the BogotĂĄ office a Christmas card with the four of us.â You stroked the curve of your belly. âThe reporter had a lot of questions about us.â
âReally?â
You nodded with a sheepish grin. âI guess the human interest side of the story has some appeal.â You tapped your foot against his ankle. âIâm sure there will be scrutiny about us. We work together for what? Five years? Did nothing really happen before Steve left?â You rolled your eyes.
âWe had tremendous self-control.â Javier chuckled, shaking his head as he scratched at the side of his jaw. âYou donât think theyâd believe that?â
âI donât know.â You shrugged. âThe thought of living in a fishbowl is a little terrifying. I already had the DEA turning over every aspect of my life.â You pressed your tongue to the inside of your cheek, looking away.Â
âHow bad did it get?â
âOh, they looked to see if I had any impropriety prior to Colombia. But,â You snapped your fingers and shot finger guns at Javier. âYou were the only partner I was ever involved with⌠well, I mean Lance was working with the DEA. Does he count?â
Javier rocked his jaw and huffed. âI donât think he counts.âÂ
âThatâs because you donât like thinking about me with him.â You raised your brows, giving him a look. âI should probably call him and tell him about this article.â
âDo you talk?â
You shook your head, âNot since that day he was at the office. But I donât want him blindsided.â You brushed the topic aside. âAre we really ready to face Colombia like this, Javi? I mean, this isnât something small. This is The Washington Post⌠front page.â
âIâm ready if youâre ready, baby.âÂ
âI think I am.âÂ

Thanks for the tag :)!!!!
1. Three ships;
I don't even know 3 ships i dont think?
Definitely ship thasmin. Erm, ig I ship Plance? (But that's a whole can of worms haha). Am I in any other fandoms? I don't think so. Twelveclara is a good one also.
2. Last song;
Hmm, pretty sure it was some pop tripe. But, a good song generally is wish myself away which I love! My music taste is pretty eclectic and is hard to pin down. Orchestra, jazz, punk, rock, and some other crap.
3. Last movie watched;
Honestly I've no idea. Fucking no clue. Count of Monte Cristo was good, but the MC is some qanon person. That reminds me, the 2 girls in person of interest is also a good ship. The HTTYD trilogy fucked. Actually, the last movie I watched was avatar 2. I almost got mugged in it lmao.
4. Currently reading;
Some hp fanfic, not much SI avengers /MCU stuff. Ive also looked at DC SI, it's pretty awesome. Also the Carbon Farming solution is amazing. I'm reading the wandering inn and loads of other web serials also.
Currently watching;
Nothing. I don't watch TV.
Currently consuming;
Banana and cereal, fuck I need to revise.
Last night salad and a chicken burger. I mean it was sooo nice. I bloody loved it. Tonight I'm having pasta, which will be pretty nice! I cannot wait to start cooking for myself.
7. Currently craving;
McDonald's. And hugs. But mainly McDonald's and spending time with friends. And meaningful connections. But mainly McDonald's.
Jesus Christ that was all tangents.
Erm, @plaguedoctorsnake @sofie-hatter do this if you want!!! It was quite fun, but yea. Anyone else also. !!!!!
Tag nine people you'd like to get to know better!
I was tagged by @accidentallyadorable thank you so much!
1. Three ships?
Jenny/Vastra. Aka who's been my special interest for years. The premise of a lizard woman and a lesbian in Victorian England who are kind of like Sherlock and Watson but in canonically married? (altho with Sherlock being public domain he is now married to John)
Caithe/Faolain because they're absolutely terrible, but sometimes you have to have a ship like that. Also, 13 year old me sensed they're exes when I first played Guild Wars. Without actually knowing.
Thasmin because they permanently altered something in my brain.
2. Last song?
As of writing this I'm listening to The Doctor is Dying by Chameleon Circuit. XD (damn, I've been listening to the EPIC: The Troy Saga songs for days and now my answers are very Doctor Who centric XD)
3. Last movie?
I watched Ponyo on Sunday! đĽ°
4. Currently reading?
Doctor Who Molten Heart. I'm about halfway through and it's so good. I particularly love the LOTR-references in it. Ryan is just like me, such a nerd. đ Love him, and Yaz had some Very Heterosexual (not) thoughts about the Doctor in the beginning.
5. Currently watching?
Willow on Disney+. Butch lesbians??? Fantasy??? Sign me the fuck up! I'm just praying it doesn't get cancelled like Every Other Show with sapphic (and esp. sapphic WOC) rep.
6. Currently consuming?
At the point of writing this, nothing but air. And in the general time around now, water.
7. Currently craving?
Holidays, I don't wanna do exams. Other than that, pasta, per usual.
Thank you so much for tagging me!!
@marvellouspinecone @thirteensfavoritetoy @theglasscat @autisticraptor @starfleetwitch @smaugonfire @shippingsincebeforeyouwereborn @bogwaterrr @paternostergays No pressure, and everyone else who wants to!! đĽ°

Providing you've seen that 'stages of fandom chart', are there any good media that have a presence on tumblr but haven't gotten toxic yet? seems like its happening faster and faster these days...
The Hunie franchise (both Pop and Cam) - Outside of someone on here hating the game so much that they were talking about âwanting to kill everyone who was involved with itâ (and even they were only exposed to the game through a Markiplier LP), the fandom on here is microscopic because âew, icky porn game obviously made for the male gaze (even though half of the development team for Pop were lesbians, but okay)â.
The Ancient Magusâs Bride - As far as Iâve seen, this anime has been lucky enough to have a corner of shade under the âDonât bring your bullshit in hereâ barrier of tumblrâs teratophile community. So that oneâs safe
Gankutsuou -Â The Count of Monte Cristo - You know, despite bearing quite a few LGBT characters (Albert, Franz, Eugenie, Peppo, and even the Count himself), this anime hasnât had any exposure to the bullshit meter. Maybe tumblr children donât have the time for any adaptation of classic French literature that isnât Les Mis, who knows?
Full Service - The game has yet to come out (the devs are shooting for September) but, really, with this game I am ironically A-OK with it having, what, 3% presence on tumblr? Because, fuck it, I donât need any discourse about the massage parlor hunks, okay?
Night in the Woods - Yeah, the game that everyone was saying was going to be âthe next Undertale when it comes to fandom cringe, ohmahgawdâ has pretty much been under the radar when it comes to tumblr. I mean, the worst thing I remember seeing when NitW hit its peak on this site was people getting upset that people were shipping Greg and Mae (which, I mean, I can understand a little; you actually have a gay couple in the form of Angus and Greg and yet you still want to ship Greg and Mae, who are sooooo bad for each other, oh my God) âÂ
Okay, bit of a tangent: the more I think about NitW, the more I just feel so damn sorry for Angus and Bea for having to deal with Greg and Mae, just⌠my GodÂ
â
But, other that, havenât seen discourse. Maybe because people donât want to go for a media where the main character, despite being pansexual and representation being awesome, is such a fucking trainwreck.
And⌠yeah, those are the only things fandom-wise that I can think of that are Discourse-Free on this hellsite. Because even things like The Shape of Water (a movie that should have that âDonât Bring Your Bullshit in Hereâ protection from the teratophile community is still being hit with âugh, who cares if itâs an unconventional romance between a mute protagonist who uses sign language and a monster â itâs still Het and sheâs still white, myeh~â posts in the tag and even obscure ships that have been left alone for years are now having little worms come into the tag to post the typical anti messages (âoh, the age-gaps make me uncomfortableâ, âoh, youâre skirting on pedophilia~â

First of all, I am completely in love with your fics. Seriously, they're all brilliant. You're an amazing writer! I just reread Point to Happiness now that it's complete and it lead me to actually take Laurent's advice and read Ari and Dante. I read the whole thing today. Absolutely loved it.
