If all a corrupt politician has to do is say that "they are in favor of Palestine" to have the support of the people, then the people are stupid as fuck.
If you can't distinguish a lie from a sincere feeling, you need help.
Anyway, that fact that Maduro "won" again the elections is not something to celebreate, and im done with people, from USA mainly, saying they are happy just bc the man said "Free Palestine" a couple of days before the elections. And Im saying this as a pro palestine person. If you are from a english speaking country and you have no idea whats going on over here please shut up. We don't need uneducated opinions.
I hug my venezuela brothers and sisters in these hard times.
making a quick disclaimer here: Controversial maybe, but even if he was pro palestine for real that wouldnt change the fact that he is a cruel dictator. People are complex like that. Nothing is always black and white

This was last night, when they took away a mother and her daughter, who is a minor, just for posting on social media about what is happening in the country.
Some of the people who are in the Helicoide are minors, who are being tortured for no reason, The dictatorship does not care how old we are, for them we are all terrorists.
Many people have died, and now they want to silence us. I'm scared, please spread this, let the whole world know what's happening here.
If you want to help, here are ways to donate, but spreading the word also helps a lot.

"Guacamaya, finge demencia, después de tanta resistencia sin nadie escuchar y sin valorar" —Welcome to the Sur, Rawayana
Heeya, long time I didn't post here
Many will have seen what is happening in Venezuela, the dictatorial regime of Nicolás Maduro committed electoral fraud and is committing a mass4cre against the people since June 28, 2024.
Almost three days since the protests began, the people peacefully demanding their rights and the cowardly dictator sends his military to attack the protesters. K-1lling innocent people, CHILDREN.
For the people who support Maduro for being pro-Palestine, they are deceiving him, he is just as cruel and bastard as the Israeli government. He only uses the situation in Palestine to have good public opinion, don't be fooled.
VENEZUELA NEEDS TO BE SEEN, VENEZUELA NEEDS TO BE HEARD, VENEZUELA NEEDS TO BE FREE!

"The entire country without electricity, hospitals collapsing, and they're like this. We're not to be demoralized nor weakened, 25 years are already enough".
This is El Cuartel de la Montaña. There's where Chávez rests are. During the entire blackout, that, for me, was 19 hours long, that place had electricity.
El Helicoide, the largest torture centre in LATAM also had electricity.
Tumblr media
"A patient in the Noriega Trigo hospital in San Francisco just died. She was intubated and glued to a respirator.
The hospital doesn't have a power plant, nor UPS for the devices. They tried to resurrect her with CPR and nothing".
Tumblr media
friend since 4 in the morning without electricity. The light came on about an hour ago with a lot of force and burned down a small refrigerator that we have with my mom and sister's insulin. This is a disaster. We went out to buy ice as best we could and the neighbor lent us some Colman coolers to store them in because the heat here is very intense. God willing, we'll get away from these people. Thank you. Anonymous. Please.
In Lecheria, girl.
Tumblr media
Maria Corina is very badass, she flew with her rocket and left us all without electricity EXCEPT Chavez, Helicoide and Miraflores... it's incredible that they are even incoherent when it comes to lying.
— Without showing evidence, Freddy Ñáñez blamed María Corina Machado and Edmundo González for the national blackout: "People like that cannot be considered Venezuelans" "FREDDY ÑÁÑEZ BLAMES MARIA CORINA AND EDMUNDO FOR THE NATIONAL BLACKOUT"
Tumblr media
Do you still believe that everything that has happened in Venezuela (electrical failures, shortages) in these last 25 years is the fault of others? No, gentlemen, it is a system of psychological conditioning to exhaust every Venezuelan.
— Hospitals, nursing homes, schools, homes... WITHOUT LIGHT The Helicoid TORTURE WITH ELECTRICITY What is this called? STATE TERRORISM
And this happened already.

Two former Colombian soldiers, Alexander Ante and José Aron Medina Aranda, were detained in Venezuela during a stopover while returning from fighting in Ukraine. Following their arrest in Caracas, both were extradited to Russia, where they now face charges of having fought against Russian forces as mercenaries. A Moscow court has ordered their provisional detention, which could lead to a sentence of up to 15 years in prison. The family, who had been waiting for their return in Colombia, were devastated to discover that they had been sent to Russia without warning.

Disclaimer: those terms do not apply to any Usamerican / foreigner who is actually being respectful, I'm only refering to the ones that defend a dictatorship who lets people die while they keep the power to themselves.

Being Venezuelan on social media is a frustrating experience, to describe it one way.
A lot of espaces in social media are meant for English speakers, which means you have to speak English to interact with others. That's fine, I am of the believe knowing more than one language is good for you. Unless you're Venezuelan, talking about Venezuela... In that case you're a CIA plant or can only be White & Rich™️.
As a Venezuelan on the internet you're supposed to care about every single problem in the world, and you have to post about, and then you have to prove that you care, and you have to be gracious and meet people in the middle to help them understand our situation even if they are condescending and, really, have no interest listening from venezuelans in Venezuela or out.
Y'all will play the label Olympics, but when it comes to Venezuela y'all won't care about the most important label to talk about it being Venezuelan. Y'all willfully and unironically will believe the wakiest shit about this country, like that time you made it your mission to spread the lie that LGBTQ venezuelans have ALL THE RIGHTS when venezuelans in Venezuela have been telling you for years that is not true.
Venezuelans on social media have to prove to you that we deserve basic shit, like running water, electricity, and the freedom to criticize the government. And then when venezuelans do not take kindly to being talked down to and accused of not knowing what is happening in their own country, or what they're living... Y'all want to play victim. As if you haven't been treating the lives and experiences of Venezuelans as a way to prove how much of a leftie you are and how "anti-imperialist" you are. As if Russia, China and Iran aren't interfering in Venezuela. But I guess that's fine, 'cause as I was told by someone on this very site... Is okay as long as it isn't the USA.

Another interesting discourse I've seen in communist circles across different platforms after the elections:
I've been seeing multiple people ask Venezuelans WHY they speak "perfect" English if they're Venezuelan, only to then accuse them of being CIA bots.
First off... we wouldn't have had to learn English if you hadn't made English a lingua franca. English is, in fact, compulsory in many schools here.
Second, we wouldn't be speaking to you in English if you hadn't made sure that certain spaces and content on the internet could only be accessed by speaking English. Go figure where most of us learned slang.
Third, we wouldn't be posting and interacting in "perfect" English if you didn't make fun of us when we make grammar mistakes, or outright asked us to speak in your language. Until today I still double check with translators before even posting something.
I think it's your turn to start using translators.

A SMALL VENT + CONTEXT:
I feel bad publishing political-like stuff, but this is important to me, and I'm at least publishing a drawing here because of it...
The most important person in my life, a noble and cute boy who saved me from committing suicide, my partner and best friend, is from Venezuela. I want him and his country to be free, and have a beautiful life.
