No cuz when i was 14 i was at the park w my nephew (3) and there was a woman whose kids (like 4 and 5) were playing there too so we struck up convo on the benches and she had her pit there with her on the leash. He was sniffin me and I was like 👀 but she was all nooo hes friendly its fine. so im like word and he keeps smelling me and then just sits real good and lets me pet him. happy, tail wagging and all. all of a sudden he just lunges and bites me right in the face. he was only a few inches from my jugular. doctor said i was so incredibly lucky that my jaw got chomped instead of my throat. ultimately after stitches and some months of healing i was fine, the stitches didnt heal all the way tho so now i have a scar but its faded over the past 5 years. also note that the woman literally just whispered "im so sorry" and then gathered her kids and dog and left :) a CHILD bleeding from DEEP punctures in her face/jaw that YOUR DOG CAUSED!!!!!! alone!!!!!!

/2 i bhate to overuse the word "traumatizing" but like i was in shock for a good minute or so after being bit okay so i didnt even feel how bad it hurt or notice how much blood there was until the woman was already SPRINTING to her car. then after I could barely stop the bleeding enough in the moment, there was so much fucking blood i didnt even know i could have that much in my face. and i was crying n freajking out. this of course makes my little nephew cry and freak out too cuz YEAH IM STILL WITH HIM AT THIS PARK DUH. now i have to WALK TO A NEARBY 7-11 ugly sobbing w vampire holes in my face gushing blood cuz I DIDNT HAVE A PHONE to call my mom to get to a hospital or 911. while carrying a crying toddler. as I myself felt like a crying toddler abt to pass out. anyways still got luv for pits but pit owners need to fucking get real

dog owners are such cowards sometimes like she just dipped because it would be euthanized for biting a child but thats just the consequence!! sorry to be cruel but thats part of owning a dog, if it injures someone especially a child it has to go. i bet if it bit her own child she would have done something about it. so sorry that happened to you but glad youre okay and nah that legit is so traumatising i cant believe she left you there to deal with that alone
