this isn't a vent but I just need to rant about something for a second and don't want followers on my main to be pushed away by politics when my main isn't political at all.

I'm so fucking tired of the trans infighting. Transmascs aren't teaming up with TERFs to take down transfems. I LIVE with a fucking terf. It's awful and I feel like I can't be myself. I'd never want to team up with them ESPECIALLY against my beautiful transfem sisters. I'm tired of everything right now. What happened to trans solidarity? Can't we all as a community fight for rights and clown on photomatt together?

I know not every trans person is fighting so don't get the wrong idea. I just get flooded with posts from people hating on transmascs and people hating on transfems.

honestly writing simon especially in yaaiab is just a really fun thing to do because i am trying portray him in a way where you can't really hate him. like there won't be any big reveal about his feelings or regret chapters after he has done something wrong because i am writing his monologue and his actions towards reader side by side.

now yes he does do mean things and is hurting reader a lot. but the real reason reader is so attached to him is because he has done good things too. simon has a very odd and subtle way of showing care and reader has somewhat picked up on it. and we already know that simon cares about reader. he is just so awful at communicating or letting someone in.

i just like to write him as someone who is clearly struggling but god forbid he ever shows it. he is so closed off it gets annoying! makes me wanna jump into my screen in the middle of writing something and scold him.
