Hi! As someone newer to ak, I would actually really love a “rawest Ak lines” list if u don’t mind sharing!
Okay so if I *did* run this, I would have to crowdsource some, because I haven't read everything, and I don't always remember to update my document when I do read shit. So my list is extremely biased, extremely incomplete, and very all over the fucking place. Do not take this as a comprehensive list, but rather just some of my favorites:
Patriot: "Rhodes Island. I will advance." A classic. A legend. A salsa that everyone at the table can enjoy.
Rosmontis: "You didn't want to die alone. You want to be remembered by me, and live on within me. But no. I came here just to watch you die. And now, I've forgotten you."
Eblana: "You'll remember me, shapeshifter. Your long and refractory memory will have chapters that belong to me." (not the official translation but I'm using this one because it goes SOOOO much harder)
Andoain: "I would rather be the torch that burns by the feet of those who are freezing to death. Even if its flame will soon be extinguished."
In game boss description text for Kristen Wright: Egotist. Betrayer. Seeker. Loner. Pioneer. Goodnight, Terra.
and of course, Woodrow: "May this bullet forgive what my heart cannot."
and then of course, Stultifera Navis, which has so many it was basically a contest to see who got the coolest line before the event ended. I have literally 8 lines in my notes document, my favorites being:
Irene: "You have not sinned in any way. The Holy Scriptures do not even mention your existence. Right now it is only I, as an Iberian, who is handing down this verdict. The scourge of the seas must be wiped out. You have no right to live. In the name of Iberia."
Carmen: “You, and your pathetic ideas, will be buried in Iberia. Before your last breath, be sure to pass on our thunderous roar to your kin. ‘The sea faces an ancient enemy called civilization, one you stand no chance of overcoming.'”
Captain Alfonso: “Remember this well, Irene! Return to land and sing the praises of Alfonso's feats! The last monster that Alfonso slew... was himself!”
Ulpianus: “If you care about the word of God, then so be it. The Seaborn are not gods, nor are their forefathers. I have seen how your gods die, their screams coursing through the currents, their flesh and blood smeared across abyssal ravines.”
I think for the sake of the hypothetical bracket, I'd probably want to limit it to one line per event before the entire thing is consumed entirely by just Stultifera Navis

Of everything that happens in the new issue of Immortal Thor, this scene stands out the most to me as something I feel will be one of the most important scenes of both the issue and the run as a whole.
In the very beginning of gods, of Earth, of humanity, of stories, among the very first incarnations of the archetypes that Thor and Loki embody - the mighty warrior and the devious trickster - see each other and immediately get into a fight out of sheer revulsion of everything their twin stands for.
Good vs evil. Light vs dark. Order vs chaos. Brawn vs brain. Control vs freedom. Life vs death. Fate vs choice. Peace vs war. Mundanity vs magic. Law vs crime. Creation vs destruction. Love vs hate. And many more. Clashing opposites, battling for supremacy. A cycle of violence and debate passed down the generations, from father to son, mentor to student, predecessor to successor, and so on. Brother waging battle against brother just to prove a point, to fulfill their role in the story. An ideological blood feud applied to archetypes and titles and narratives. Trickling all the way down into it's present expression... Thor and Loki.
Tumblr media
Already it's clear that cycles of this sort are going to be a very large theme of Immortal Thor. The concept of recurrences and stories being retold over the years have been talked about a lot by the narrator. The comic goes to great lengths to draw attention to how Thor and his cast and, by extension, their own world in the form of comics are falling into patterns that transcend through time. And I feel that's going to be the crux of a great deal of the plot.
Loki hates the cycle. In their roles as both the goddess of stories and the god of mischief, they abhor stagnation and repetition. They want to be free of the roles "assigned" by the narrative. They want to be free of the debate, the never-ending battle of good and evil that ha destroyed their family time and again. Thor would want to be free of it too, if he realized he were part of it. But he struggles to do so. He's a rock in the sea of time. A god among mortals, a child of two worlds watching in confusion and grief as his human friends age and change and die around him while his divine brothers and sisters continue to stay the same. In this, they are trying to do what Gaea wanted to do but couldn't; to break the cycle.
Toranos and Utgard-Loki don't want to break the cycle. They ARE the cycle. Embodiments of the sins of the forefathers carrying down to their children. Representations of the archetypes of Thors and Lokis at their absolute worst, shorn of all true depth and compassion and true belief in their aspects in favor of continuing the godforsaken argument. Shades of the old festering in the blood of the young, infesting them with their baggage, holding them back from growing better, and lashing out at them when the new generations fail to meet the standards of the elders. And they may not even realize they're doing so.
This isn't the first time this theme has come up in Al Ewing's work.
Tumblr media
Immortal Hulk presents the conflict between the Hulk and his archenemy, the Leader, as a similar generational feud. Both in a literal familial sense (the Banner and Sterns families being divided and warring after Robert and Samuel Sterns turn on each other) and a larger ideological sense (people using the power of gamma for good or ill, going all the way to the first Hulk being born from a leader's selfish desire to misuse magic as a tool of conquest). Sometimes the thoughtful man is the hero, sometimes the brute is. But they always fight. Senselessly and pointlessly. And the Green Door and the horror it brings was only stopped... by breaking the cycle. By defying it. By Hulk choosing to never sink to Leader's level, or those of his predecessors, and instead choose to forgive.
And Ewing makes clear cycles and wars spanning centuries like this are common in the Marvel Universe. The Eternity Mask is passed down generations of men and women, always fighting for freedom against those who would deny it. Nick Fury passes his name and identity and role onto his son. There's always an Ant Man, inheriting their predecessor's problems, and there's always an Ultron, trying to claim dominion. Arakko and Krakoa alike are divided between those who hold to the old ways and those who seek new ways. Ebony and Ivory Kings do their work, from within and without. On and on, the wheels turn.
It even goes back to the very beginning. To prior multiverses. All tracing back to the first super battle, the first superhero and first supervillain - Lifebringer-One and Anti-All, the cosmic knight and the entropic dragon - fighting for the fate of the nascent world.
Tumblr media
Effectively, Ewing views and represents the narratives of superhero comics as we know them, as a sort of repeating song. The metatextual commentary is that all this has happened before and will happen again, because humanity will always dream of heroes battling monsters. There will always be a knight and a dragon. A warrior and a trickster. A superhero and a supervillain.
But he also acknowledges how this can go too far. How comics can fall into stagnating loops of repeating stories and stall status quos. Spider-Men being denied their stories because editors want to live in nostalgia instead of the now. X-Men getting their progress towards coexistence undone because writers can't handle change.
And this is all what Immortal Thor is about and will be about. The struggle for balance between opposites and extremes. Cyclical narratives and worlds. Ideas and stories being inherited and passed on. And all of it a commentary on comic books themselves and their history and role in culture.
It's brilliant stuff.

I’m not very familiar with Torah so forgive me if this is a dumb question, but in the law it says not to punish a child for the sins of his father and yet during the exodus G-d killed the first born Egyptian children for the sins of their fathers against the Jewish people. even though the law came after the exodus isn’t that a moral inconsistency on G-d’s part? I’ve asked this question many times online and haven’t received an answer, and I’m not jewish so I don’t have anyone to ask irl
I apologize for how long this took, I didn’t mean to deny you your answer, but I’ve had a tenuous relationship at best with Tumblr these days due to rising antisemitism, and I did take a nearly 6 year hiatus. It’s not a dumb question at all, but a question fundamental to jewish theology, and one with ample examples across all of mikrah and mishnah. In fact, the Talmud asks almost this exact question in Tractate Berachos (7a), comparing two verses: the first one “he visits the sins of the fathers on their children, on the third generation, and on the fourth” (פּוקד עון אַבות על הבנים על שלשים ועל רבעים - Shemos 34:7), and the second one “children shall not die by the sins of their fathers, by one’s own sin they will die” (בנים לא ימותו על אבות - Devarim 24:16).
The Talmud observes that these two pesukim appear to contradict each other, and then resolves the contradiction: The former posuk, which states that a person will be punished for the sin of their ancestors up to the 4th generation is if they retain and continue the ways of their forefathers, in other words, doing the same set of sins. The novelty being that they are only held responsible until the 4th generation, rather than forever as long as they maintain the same evils. What’s cool about this, from a comparative theology perspective, is that a proper reading of this posuk entirely eliminates the Xtian idea of Original Sin, being that even if we were following in the ways of Adam and Chava in their decision to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, we are more than 4 generations away from that sin, so we can certainly not be held responsible for it.
The second posuk, which explains that a person is only responsible for their own sin, refers to a situation where the child has not followed the wicked ways of their fathers.
There is an additional aspect to this comparison as well, which is that the first posuk refers to punishment meted out by Hashem, such as in the situation of the Egyptians, whereas the second posuk refers to the punishment meted out by the Rabbinical Courts below.
To address the situation you brought up in your initial question, why were the firstborn killed for the sin of their fathers? They weren’t, per say. Not exclusively. They played a role in their fathers’ sins. They took part in throwing jewish babies into the river. They were the priests of Egyptian idolatry and the greatest opponents towards letting the jews serve G-d, particularly because our method of service often involved the sacrifice of the things they worshipped. In fact, they didn’t “change their minds” about letting the jews go until they saw the jews tying sheep to their bedposts for the Pesach sacrifice, and when they [the first born] asked, the jews said “G-d is going to kill the firstborn and then we’ll be leaving anyway”. In other words, their change of heart wasn’t out of a desire to actually repent, but entirely born out of self-interest.
In addition, one without context can assume, based on this circumstance, that G-d metes out indiscriminate collective punishment, since every single one of the firstborn of Egypt were killed, except Pharaoh himself, and that the entirety of Egypt suffered as a result of all of this. This is also inaccurate, as G-d ensured that all the citizen Mitzrim had an opportunity to take part in the sin, by causing Pharaoh to withhold the straw they needed to make mortar and bricks. Two centuries earlier, in exchange for selling them food during the years of famine, Yosef acquired all the physical land in Egypt on behalf of Pharaoh… In other words, all of Egypt was living on royal land, and when Pharaoh stopped giving the jews pre-cut straw, the assumption was that they would go into the fields of Egyptiants - fields that belonged to the government - and cut the straw needed to complete their requisite service to the king. Instead, civilians who were previously uninvolved would savagely beat jews that came to collect the straw, which gave them a role in the sin which eventually destroyed Egypt. Thus, even if you apply the same rules to the heavenly court and the earthly court, no moral inconsistency is present.
This ties in to the big issue that all the goyim on this website who harbor the mental illness formerly known as judenhass have made their rallying cry to attack innocent jews from all over the world - Gaza. As a teacher, I have very deep sympathy for children in Gaza, as a general rule, who did not sign up to be used as human shields for a terrorist organization. Their parents? As a teacher, even if they were innocent of direct involvement with Hamas, but have not tried to leave Gaza and emigrate to another, safer country, I hate them with a consummate hatred. Why? Because they have endangered their own children, and as a teacher, I cannot abide that. From a torah perspective? Every child who wants to terrorize Jews because it makes their parents proud, wants to kill jews to buy their parents’ favor, and doesn’t once question whether killing innocent people is the correct course of action, will almost undoubtedly share their parents’ fate, as they have a deep desire to share in their sin.
Still, regardless of their “status”, our main focus should be on our own actions. We should strive to discern the innocent from the guilty. Even if we cannot always make that distinction we still have to act for the sake of Heaven. We must strive to work on our own behavior, so that when Rosh Hashanah comes, Hashem will see our efforts and give us his help, as revealed good, as we pass into a new year, may it be a year of redemption.

Southern Gothic
It sits low and heavy in my stomach. The dread. It gnaws at me like a lethargic mist gathering over a murky swamp.
It’s been this way for a while now.
The gators circling, hunger in their predatory eyes, ready to death-roll me at any moment.
Around me, in the darkening twilight, the cicadas sing their hymns to the smothering heat, like a preacher sermonizing to his congregation in an old, white-washed chapel. The old steeple and cross rise above the trees over yonder.
The graveyard around the old church has been swallowed by the swamp, and God’s favorite haunt will soon follow unless the rest of the wood rots away first. They promise that you will find answers to your questions about eternity here. Just know that those may be the last answers you ever find.
In the post-antebellum south, deep down where the waters threaten to flood and drown, lies the city that is sinking two inches a year and will one day go under. A place where things have changed yet still stayed the same. Here she lies, the Great Deep South, where those born on the bayou are as intricately tangled as the kudzu vines.
And the bayou, slipping into night, comes alive with a haunting restlessness that rings deep in my bones. It is growth and decay, sin and forgiveness. You need to be careful where you wade in the flood waters, what lurks below with sharp teeth and moss-stained scales, will drag you to your death.
They told us it was the promised land, of southern hospitality and comfort, but these lands were once Klan Kountry. Jim Crow laws and lynchings- a passing haint that forgetfulness can’t seem to fade. The old plantation houses, deep in disrepair, are all fallen grandeur and secrets. Their inhabitants refuse to admit the sins of their forefathers upon those they enslaved.
The scars, the infection, and the curses yelled to the howling wind, still linger.
The snakes are climbing the trees, so you don’t turn your back, bite back the bitter sting of the Bible belt against your skin.
There’s a breeze but you can’t feel it. It’s too damn hot to feel anything but the suffocation. You count your blessings anyway. Some days you’re seized by unexplainable melancholy, probably remnants of the horrors that unfolded beneath your very feet.
It could be worse.
In the South, we hurl curses during the week and repent on Sunday. And “you should join a Bible study” is the offered thought, when you’re young and ‘lost’ or don’t know which way is up. But I think God left this place long ago, and no matter how loud you pray, he ain’t gonna hear.
Around here, every home houses a bible and a loaded gun. We paint our houses bright hues and our ceilings blue. The wasps won’t nest, and the ghosts get confused. But this whole place is filled with ghosts, every citizen a taphophile, every stone a grave marker.
Our tea may be sweet, but the history hangs heavy here; bitter and sharp. Don’t make the mistake of thinking history won’t hang on to you.
These small towns with idyllic facades, that seem frozen in time, stow-away a lush terror—a deep dark history fraught with murder, slavery, and the paranormal. Sun-aged skin and southern drawls hide dark, twisting stories that slither between attraction and repulsion like grotesque contradictions.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2024 WEEK TWENTY EIGHT – ORDINARY TIME
Tumblr media
BLAMING THE FOREFATHERS (LK 11:47-54)
Prayer:
O Jesus, fill me with a true piety which knows and loves God.
Imagination:
Picture Jesus denouncing the Pharisees.
Context:
The Jews blame their forefathers for being mistaken and killing the prophets. However, they will do the same thing in killing Jesus.  Jesus recounts human history.  Abel was the first one killed in the bible and Zechariah was the last prophet killed (2 Chr 24:20).  Jesus’ accusations are proven true by the final sentences.
Gospel Text: (Read slowly, possibly aloud.)
The Lord said, “Woe to you who build the tombs of the prophets but it was your fathers who killed them. You show that you stand behind the deeds of your fathers. They killed the prophets and you build their tombs. That is why the wisdom of God says, ‘I will send to them prophets and apostles. Some of them they will kill and persecute.’ So, this generation will have to account for the blood of all the martyrs shed since the foundation of the world, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who died between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you. This generation must account for it. Woe to you lawyers. You have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not gained access, yet you have stopped those who wish to enter.” After he had left this gathering, the scribes and Pharisees began to show fierce hostility to him and tried to catch him in his speech on many occasions.
Thoughts: (Read all. Ponder those that attract you.)
The leaders are ignorant that they are caught up in a history of violence.
They accept violence as a legitimate means of silencing the voices of the prophets.
They refuse to accept the responsibility, even though their guilt stretches for centuries.
Jesus offers them a new stream, a redemption from their past violence.
Unfortunately, the leaders even block people who would want to follow Jesus.  They have taken away the Key of Knowledge.
They try to capture Jesus in his speech.  What fools! They battle divine Wisdom Himself.
They do not repent.  They do not change.  Their hostility grows.
Affections: (When one touches your heart, use your own words.)
O Jesus, what are my sins?  And the sins of my family?  Let me repent.
Jesus, you offer me a pure stream, a future history purified of the past.
Redeem me, Jesus, from my culture.
Open the door.  Give me the Key to Divine Wisdom.  I will walk in your paths.
Jesus, change me.  Forgive me.  My past will no longer burden me.
You are truth.  You are life.  You save.  You redeem.  You open holy roads to those who will follow.
Resolutions: (Possibly you might want to make your own.)
+ I will see clearly the sins of my culture and reject them.
+ I will be a prophet who speaks out against what is not right.
Thought for the Day: (To recall your meditation.)
I will send to them prophets and apostles.

6:140
Lost indeed are those who have murdered their own children foolishly out of ignorance and have forbidden what Allah has provided for them—falsely attributing lies to Allah. They have certainly strayed and are not ˹rightly˺ guided.
6:141
He is the One Who produces gardens—both cultivated and wild[1]—and palm trees, crops of different flavours, olives, and pomegranates—similar ˹in shape˺, but dissimilar ˹in taste˺. Eat of the fruit they bear and pay the dues at harvest, but do not waste. Surely He does not like the wasteful.
[1] Or trellised and untrellised.
6:142
Some cattle are fit for labour, others are too small.[1] Eat of what Allah has provided for you and do not follow Satan’s footsteps. Certainly, he is your sworn enemy.
[1] Strong cattle like camels and oxen can be used for labour, whereas smaller ones like goats and sheep are not suitable for labour but are good for their meat, milk, hide, etc.
6:143
˹Allah has created˺ four pairs: a pair of sheep and a pair of goats—ask ˹them, O  Prophet˺, “Has He forbidden ˹to you˺ the two males or the two females or what is in the wombs of the two females? Tell me with knowledge, if what you say is true.”—
6:144
and a pair of camels and a pair of oxen. Ask ˹them˺, “Has He forbidden ˹to you˺ the two males or the two females or what is in the wombs of the two females? Or were you present when Allah gave you this commandment?” Who does more wrong than those who fabricate lies against Allah to mislead others without ˹any˺ knowledge? Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
6:145
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to eat except carrion, running blood, swine—which is impure—or a sinful offering in the name of any other than Allah. But if someone is compelled by necessity—neither driven by desire nor exceeding immediate need—then surely your Lord is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
6:146
For those who are Jewish, We forbade every animal with undivided hoofs and the fat of oxen and sheep except what is joined to their backs or intestines or mixed with bone. In this way We rewarded them for their violations. And We are certainly truthful.
6:147
But if they deny you ˹O Prophet˺, say, “Your Lord is infinite in mercy, yet His punishment will not be averted from the wicked people.”
6:148
The polytheists will argue, “Had it been Allah’s Will, neither we nor our forefathers would have associated others with Him ˹in worship˺ or made anything unlawful.” Likewise, those before them rejected the truth until they tasted Our punishment. Ask ˹them, O  Prophet˺, “Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? Surely you follow nothing but ˹false˺ assumptions and you do nothing but lie.”
6:149
Say, “Allah has the most conclusive argument. Had it been His Will, He would have easily imposed guidance upon all of you.”
6:150
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Bring your witnesses who can testify that Allah has forbidden this.” If they ˹falsely˺ testify, do not testify with them. And do not follow the desires of those who deny Our proofs, disbelieve in the Hereafter, and set up equals with their Lord.
6:151
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Come! Let me recite to you what your Lord has forbidden to you: do not associate others with Him ˹in worship˺. ˹Do not fail to˺ honour your parents. Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for you and for them. Do not come near indecencies, openly or secretly. Do not take a ˹human˺ life—made sacred by Allah—except with ˹legal˺ right.[1] This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will understand.
[1] For example, in retaliation for intentional killing through legal channels.
6:152
And do not come near the wealth of the orphan—unless intending to enhance it—until they attain maturity. Give full measure and weigh with justice. We never require of any soul more than what it can afford. Whenever you speak,[1] maintain justice—even regarding a close relative. And fulfil your covenant with Allah. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will be mindful.
[1] i.e., when you testify or judge.
6:153
Indeed, that is My Path—perfectly straight. So follow it and do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from His Way. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will be conscious ˹of Allah˺.”
6:154
Additionally, We gave Moses the Scripture, completing the favour upon those who do good, detailing everything, and as a guide and a mercy, so perhaps they would be certain of the meeting with their Lord.
6:155
This is a blessed Book We have revealed. So follow it and be mindful ˹of Allah˺, so you may be shown mercy.
6:156
You ˹pagans˺ can no longer say, “Scriptures were only revealed to two groups before us and we were unaware of their teachings.”
6:157
Nor can you say, “If only the Scriptures had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they.” Now there has come to you from your Lord a clear proof[1]—a guide and mercy. Who then does more wrong than those who deny Allah’s revelations and turn away from them? We will reward those who turn away from Our revelations with a dreadful punishment for turning away.
[1] i.e., the Quran.
6:158
Are they awaiting the coming of the angels, or your Lord ˹Himself˺, or some of your Lord’s ˹major˺ signs? On the Day your Lord’s signs arrive, belief will not benefit those who did not believe earlier or those who did no good through their faith.[1] Say, “Keep waiting! We too are waiting.”
[1] This refers to disobedient believers who neither did any good nor repented before the time of their death or the arrival of the Day of Judgment. This is supported by authentic narrations from the Prophet (ﷺ).
6:159
Indeed, you ˹O Prophet˺ are not responsible whatsoever for those who have divided their faith and split into sects. Their judgment rests only with Allah. And He will inform them of what they used to do.
6:160
Whoever comes with a good deed will be rewarded tenfold. But whoever comes with a bad deed will be punished for only one. None will be wronged.
6:161
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Surely my Lord has guided me to the Straight Path, a perfect way, the faith of Abraham, the upright, who was not one of the polytheists.”
6:162
Say, “Surely my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah—Lord of all worlds.
6:163
He has no partner. So I am commanded, and so I am the first to submit.”
6:164
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Should I seek a lord other than Allah while He is the Lord of everything?” No one will reap except what they sow. No soul burdened with sin will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you of your differences.
6:165
He is the One Who has placed you as successors on earth and elevated some of you in rank over others, so He may test you with what He has given you. Surely your Lord is swift in punishment, but He is certainly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Silence Python Spirits: 8 Decrees that Arrest These Demonic Spirits
One day, as we were going to the house of prayer, we encountered a young slave girl who had an evil spirit of divination, the spirit of Python. She had earned great profits for her owners by being a fortune-teller. She kept following us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Great High God, and they’re telling us how to be saved!” Day after day she continued to do this, until Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit indwelling her, “I command you in the name of Jesus, the Anointed One, to come out of her, now!” At that very moment, the spirit came out of her! (Acts 16:16-18 The Passion Translation)
Prayer of Activation
1. Worship God
Heavenly Father, holy is Your name and greatly to be praised. You are the Father of Light and in You is no shadow of turning. I worship and adore You in Yeshua’s name, for this purpose was I created, to give You pleasure through my love and adoration. May Your Kingdom manifest in my life as it is in Heaven. Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; fight against any entity or person who is contending against me and what is written about me in Your book of destiny. Heavenly Father, it is written in Psalm 27:6 (NASB), “And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer sacrifices in His tent with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.” Heavenly Father, I thank You that I will never be swallowed by the demonic powers because You are the Lifter of my head. Abba Father, I enjoin my worship to the heavenly chorus of worship of Your holy angels and the crowd of witnesses, in Yeshua’s mighty name.
2. Enter the Courts of Heaven
Heavenly Father, Righteous Judge, I ask that the Courts of Heaven be seated according to Daniel 7:9-10 (AMP) and that all books related to my life and destiny be opened. I ask this in Yeshua’s mighty name. It is written: “I kept looking until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days (God) took His seat; His garment was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was flames of fire; its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing and coming out from before Him; a thousand thousands were attending Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand were standing before Him; the court was seated, and the books were opened.” Heavenly Father, Righteous Judge, I am requesting the privilege of standing before the courtroom of the Ancient of Days according to what was revealed to the prophet Daniel, in Yeshua’s name, I pray. Heavenly Father, I stand in Your royal courtroom because of the shed blood and finished work of Yeshua on the Cross. I have come to receive Your righteous judgment over my life against silencing the python spirit that satan has been using against me. Heavenly Father, I call upon Your holy angels to be witnesses to my lawsuit and righteous prosecution of every python spirit that is working against me. I decree and declare that every python spirit covering my spirit, soul, and body will be removed so I can achieve my God-given destiny here on earth, in Yeshua’s name I pray.
3. Repent
Heavenly Father, Righteous Judge, it is written, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV). I therefore activate the law of repentance and present before this court my heartfelt repentance for my personal transgressions, and for the iniquities of my forefathers that opened the door for the python spirit to oppress my life and bloodline, in Yeshua’s name I pray. Heavenly Father, I ask that the blood of Yeshua wash away every iniquity of my forefathers that the enemy is using as a legal right to build cases against me and to bind me to the python spirit. I also repent for all self-inflicted word curses and covenants with demons that have existed in my ancestral bloodline. I am asking that every ancestral agreement with demonic powers and evil altars will now be revoked. I petition the courts of Heaven to silence their right to claim me and my bloodline, in Yeshua’s name. Thank You, Lord, for revoking these demonically engineered covenants and evil altars in Yeshua’s mighty name! Heavenly Father and Righteous Judge, it is my heartfelt desire to divorce myself from every python spirit that is operating in my life. I petition the Ancient of Days to grant me a verdict of judicial emancipation from the oppressive power of the python spirit. I receive Your favorable verdict by faith in Messiah’s finished work and shed blood.

4. Petition the Courts of Heaven to Dismiss All of Satan’s Charges
Heavenly Father and Righteous Judge, based upon Yeshua’s finished work and my heartfelt repentance, I now move on the court of Heaven to dismiss all of satan’s accusations and charges against me and my bloodline in Jesus’s name. Righteous Judge, dismiss every one of satan’s accusation connected to the python spirit that is oppressing my life. For it is written in Revelation 12:10 that the accuser of the brethren has been cast down. So, I petition You, heavenly Father and Righteous Judge to cast down all of satan’s accusations against me and dismiss all of satan’s charges against me, in Yeshua’s name, I pray.
5. Declare Your Authority in Christ
Heavenly Father and Righteous Judge, in Luke 10:19 (NKJV), Yeshua says, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Heavenly Father, as I prepare myself to pronounce powerful apostolic and prophetic decrees, I totally acknowledge my God-given authority in Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions that satan has weaponized against me and my destiny, in Yeshua’s mighty name, I pray. The Bible also says in Proverbs 28:1 (NKJV), “The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Heavenly Father, because of my God-given authority in Christ, I am as bold as lion. No messenger of satan, human or demonic, can intimidate me. I am like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, in Yeshua’s mighty name, I pray. I thank You, heavenly Father, that in Mark 16:17-18, Yeshua gave me the authority to cast out devils and take up serpents and to bring God’s healing power to those who are sick and oppressed. I therefore make the following decrees, completely assured of both my identity and authority in Christ Jesus!
6. Loudly Declare These Supernatural Decrees So You Can Have Your Breakthrough:
Heavenly Father I decree and declare that the power of the python spirit is completely broken over my life. I decree that I am no longer a victim of the python spirit, in Yeshua’s name.
I decree and declare that You are setting me free from every python spirit that causes physical and spiritual deafness in Yeshua’s name.
I decree and declare that the Holy Spirit is setting me free from the python spirit that has caused any kind of spiritual blindness in my life, in Yeshua’s name, I pray.
I decree and declare that the Holy Spirit is setting me free from the python spirit that would cause me not to walk in the truthfulness of God’s Word, in Yeshua’s name, I pray.
I decree and declare that as I bring my sacrificial offering into the courts of Heaven, the power of the python spirit that satan placed over my finances is now destroyed, in Yeshua’s name.
I decree and declare that the python spirit covering my mind and stopping my spiritual and mental transformation according to Romans 12:1 is removed in Yeshua’s mighty name!
I decree and declare that God is setting me free from the python spirit, which has caused me to be spiritually crippled in Yeshua’s name, I pray.
I decree and declare that everything, which has been stolen from my life because of the python spirit, will now be restored back to me, in Yeshua’s name, I pray.
7. End with Thanksgiving
Heavenly Father and Righteous Judge, I thank You that the foundation of Your throne is righteousness and justice. Thank You for giving me justice against the demonic entities behind the python spirit. Heavenly Father, I thank You that because of the finished work of Yeshua on the Cross, You have translated me from the kingdom of darkness to Your glorious Kingdom of Light! Heavenly Father, since You have adopted me into Your divine family, I thank You that You always hear me, when I pray. I thank You that every apostolic and prophetic decree that I have made has been heard. Thank You, Lord, that everything I have just decreed is on its way to full manifestation in Yeshua’s mighty name. Heavenly Father, until the manifestation, I will maintain an aggressive attitude of thanksgiving for the complete manifestation of what I have decreed today! In Yeshua’s name I pray.

¹³Paul and his companions sailed from the Cyprus port of Paphos to Perga in southern Turkey.  John left them  there and returned to Jerusalem ¹⁴as they journeyed on to the city of Antioch in the region of Pisidia.
On the Sabbath they went into the synagogue and took their seats. ¹⁵After the reading from the scrolls of the books of Moses and the prophets, the leader of the meeting  sent Paul and Barnabas a message, saying, “Brothers, do you have a word of encouragement to share with us? If so, please feel free to give it.”
¹⁶Paul stood and motioned that he had something to say. He said, “Listen, all of you Jews and non-Jews who worship God. ¹⁷The God of Israel divinely chose our ancestors to be his people. While they were enslaved in Egypt, he made them great, both in numbers and in strength, until he unveiled his mighty power and led them out of bondage.  ¹⁸For nearly forty years, he nourished them in the wilderness.  ¹⁹He was the one who destroyed the seven nations inhabiting the land of Canaan  and afterward gave the land to his people as their inheritance. ²⁰This took about four hundred and fifty years.
“Then God raised up deliverers for the people until the time of the prophet Samuel. ²¹The people craved for a king, so God gave them one from the tribe of Benjamin: Saul, the son of Kish, who ruled for forty years. ²²After removing him, God raised up David to be king, for God said of him, ‘I have found in David, son of Jesse, a man who always pursues my heart  and will accomplish all that I have destined him to do.’
²³“From David’s lineage God brought Israel a Savior, just as he promised. ²⁴So before Jesus appeared, John preached the message of a baptism of repentance  to prepare all of Israel. ²⁵As John was about to finish his mission, he said repeatedly, ‘If you think that I am the one to come, you’re mistaken. He will come after me, and I don’t even deserve to stoop down and untie his sandals!’
²⁶“Fellow Jews, Abraham’s descendants, and all those among you who worship and reverence God, this message of life  has been sent for us all to hear. ²⁷But the people of Jerusalem and their leaders didn’t realize who he was, nor did they understand the prophecies written of him. Yet they fulfilled those very prophecies, which they read week after week in their meetings, by condemning him to death. ²⁸Even though they could come up with no legal grounds for the death sentence, they pleaded with Pilate to have him executed. ²⁹And they did to him all that was prophesied they would do.
“Then they took him down from the cross and laid him in a tomb. ³⁰But God raised him from the dead! ³¹And for many days afterward he appeared on numerous occasions to his disciples who knew him well and had followed him from Galilee to Jerusalem. Those disciples are now his witnesses,  telling the people the truth about him.
³²“So here we are to share with you some wonderful news! The promise God made to our forefathers ³³has now been fulfilled for us, their children. For God has raised Jesus from the dead, as it says in Psalms:
‘Today I reveal you as my Son, and I as your Father.’
³⁴“God had promised to not let him decay in the tomb or face destruction again, so God raised him from the dead. He gave this promise in the Psalms:
‘I will give to you  what I gave to David:
Faithful mercies  that you can trust.’
³⁵“He explains it further in another Psalm:
‘You will not allow your holy one
to experience bodily decay.’
³⁶“This cannot be a reference to David, for after he passionately served God’s purpose for his generation, he died. He was buried with his ancestors and his body experienced decay. ³⁷But the one whom God raised from the dead has never experienced corruption in any form.
³⁸“So listen, friends! Through this Jesus, the forgiveness  of sins is offered to you. ³⁹Everyone who believes in him is set free from sin and guilt—something the law of Moses had no power to do. ⁴⁰So be very careful that what the prophets warned about does not happen to you:
⁴¹‘Be amazed and in agony, you scoffers!
For in your day I will do something so wonderful
that when I perform mighty deeds among you,
you won’t even believe that it was I who did it!’ ”
⁴²As Paul and Barnabas started to leave, the people pleaded with them to share more about these things on the next Sabbath day. ⁴³When the meeting had finally broken up, many of those in attendance, both Jews and converts to Judaism, tagged along with Paul and Barnabas, who continued to persuade them to go deeper in their understanding of God’s grace. Acts of the Apostles 13:13-43

He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping, You and your ancient forefathers?
Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds, Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me. And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink. And when I am ill, it is He who cures me, and who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense."

Daily Devotionals for February 2, 2023 Wisdom for the Day Devotional Scripture: Proverbs 4:23-27(KJV): 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Ponder the path of thy feet and let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor the left: remove thy foot from evil.
Thought for the Day
Verse 23 - Proverbs is a wonderful book from which to teach our children the wisdom to become overcomers. This verse goes to the very heart of what determines our destinies; the "issues of life" that come from our hearts. We are born in wickedness, having inherited a sinful nature from our forefathers, beginning with Adam. It will destroy us unless we come to Jesus for a heart cleansing. "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man" (Matthew 15:11).
Verse 24 - We are commanded to guard our hearts; to be cautious of what we embrace and take into our spirits, and to stop speaking things that are not right. Obedience in these two areas determines the kind of life we have on earth. "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…" (Proverbs 23:7a). We must put away a forward tongue and stop gossiping, lying, criticizing, and so forth. Through this sort of talk, we can release curses upon others. Eventually, we will receive them back ourselves, because we reap what we sow.
"And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and birds, and serpents, and things in the sea is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be" (James 3:6-10). We will be unable to tame our tongues unless we allow Jesus to help us, for our "mouth problem" is a heart problem. To correct it, we must ask the Lord to cleanse our hearts. We must speak God's Word over ourselves and others.
Verses 25-27 - Notice that not only is the heart mentioned, but the mouth, the eyes, and the feet. To live righteously and walk in God's blessing and wisdom, we must make a total commitment and serve God with all of our hearts, minds, and physical beings. Prayer Devotional for the Day Dear Father, I realize that I have been guilty of not guarding what has gone into my heart. Forgive me, Lord, for this sin. I have also been guilty of allowing the wrong things to come out of my mouth at times. Also, please forgive me for the things that I have spoken about that have come from a wrong heart attitude. Lord Jesus, I would like to make the words of the Christian song, "Change My Heart, Oh God" to be my prayer today:
Change my heart, oh God Make it ever true Change my heart, oh God May I be like you
You are the potter I am the clay Mold me and make me This is what I pray
Change my heart, oh God Make it ever true Change my heart, oh God May I be like you (Mercy/Vineyard Publishing )

Debt Forgiven, Ransom Paid
The New Testament never speaks of Jesus paying our debt. He forgives it, or He cancels it, but He never pays it:
"A certain moneylender had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he cancelled the debt of both. Now which of them will love him more?" —Luke 7:41-42
"And since he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’ And out of pity for him, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the debt." —Matthew 18:25-27
And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. —Colossians 2:13-14
To repay a debt means it is not owed to you, but to someone else. This is why Christ forgives our debts rather than pays them. The Father and Son are one, such that a debt owed to the Father is a debt owed to the Son. This is why people were so astonished that Christ forgave people's sins (Luke 5:20ff), since it was a claim to be our creditor—and who is our creditor but God?
✳ ✳ ✳
If Christ doesn't pay our debt, why is it said that we were bought with a price? When there is payment language in the New Testament, it refers to the ransom paid for our redemption:
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. — 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
You were bought with a price; do not become bondservants of men. — 1 Corinthians 7:23
...there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them. — 2 Peter 2:1
A price is paid, a ransom is given, but not to God. It is offered to an oppressor for our freedom. What is the ransom, and from what are we ransomed?
...knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. — 1 Peter 7:18-19
I shall ransom them from the power of Sheol / I shall redeem them from Death. / O Death, where are your plagues? / O Sheol, where is your sting? — Hosea 13:14
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. — Galatians 2:20
...our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. — Titus 2:14
"For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” — Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. — 1 Timothy 2:5-6
...for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, — Revelation 5:9
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. — Romans 8:20-23
What is redeemed? The Church. Humanity. Creation.
What are they ransomed from? Bondage; lawlessness; Death; the power of Sheol; Sin; futility; corruption. What is given as ransom? Christ himself; his blood; his life.
