Just got one of my favorite season 10 episode! Not my top 1. That will always be "The Fair Bears" So it's getting a post from me! (Just a list of my favorite stuff from that episode)
Love how Timmy actually got up at dawn just to pick up his fairies. He said that he would do that and kept true to his words. (I like to see it as him making an effort for them, but it could just be him not wanting Chloe to have them for too long. Either way I'm a fan of that decision).
Chloe sleeping with a stuffed bear. Look how peaceful she is!
Tumblr media
Love how panicky Chloe gets whenever her parents say she didn't make the best choice. I mean look how scared she gets in her head
Tumblr media
And this is how she looks to Timmy the entire time:
Tumblr media
Chloe being the one to force Timmy to use Cosmo and Wanda wands even though he didn't want to. (He promised them)
Also great shirt!
Also while we are on this love how whenever Timmy says something bad about her parents Chloe puts her hands in her ears and begins to shout to make sure she can't hear him.
Chloe's parents throwing Cosmo and Wanda and forgetting they are a flightless birds. (I love it because it's showing us they make a bunch of bad decisions, and helps the ending a lot. Even if Timmy and Chloe didn't see it)
Timmy keeps getting tricked by stuff (poor boy)
Tumblr media
Vending machine my one true love ❤️
Cosmo and Wanda being oblivious by the resort being a trap and literally getting themselves ready to be eaten.
Clark and Connie's relationship! (They really love each other!)
The whole ending! Love how Timmy helped Chloe realize her parents are perfect (she of course realized it on her own, but Timmy's words helped a lot).
Chloe's parents refusing to get help while literally sinking in quicksand until Chloe finishes what she has to say.
And some more stuff who are sadly lost due to my post being partly erased... Last time I ever use read more.

It really does make me sad that the anti-fairy family literally don't have an actual canon in-show dynamic. Like everything about them is solely just fanon. Anti Cosmo has like, less than 20 minutes of screentime in total as far as I can tell (A New Wish included), Anti Wanda less than that, and Irep shows up so much more often than either of his parents combined, sure, but he doesnt mention either of them that much. Even in A New Wish, Anti Wanda and Anti Cosmo just show up. Irep doesn't even bring them up even though they're literally right there. I guess he wouldn't really have to considering everything else that was happening, but c'mon. Putting all my faith in ANW season 2 rn,,I will cheer if Irep is in the same frame as his parents for 1 second.

LMAO Irep hates Peri's name change, and Hazel and Dev arguing :(. Gotta love how ugly he is, makes sense if Peri is hot and "suave" Irep is the opposite and uh not hot (and he's still wearing what's essentially what he wore as a baby)

NEED them as returning antagonists in season 2 of fop: a new wish.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
WE WERE LITERALLY ROBBED OF THE PIXIES TEAMING UP WITH DALE AND BEING THE SEASON'S MAJOR ANTAGONISTS!
i bet he would be part of their newest 37 years fairy world takeover plan. actually, HP and he would spent hours talking about stocks and absolutely enjoy eachother's company.
BUT!!! THERE'S HOPE FOR THEM. even after they just switched dale and the pixies for dev and anti-fairies in the show's finale and main plot, there is still hope that if the show s2 gets greenlightned they might recycle this idea of the pixies returning and teaming up with dale, after all, he got set up for a way bigger role envolving project H.
HOWEVER, MISS DOOMBRINGER WAS ROBBED SINCE DAY ONE! YALL BELIEVE THEY MADE A PROFESSIONAL FAIRY HUNTER ANTAGONIST, WHO PUBLISHED A BOOK WITH ALL THE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE TO CAPTURE THEM,
Tumblr media
WITH THE CAPABILITY OF SMELLING MAGIC AND MANIPULATING GODKIDS, WITH GENIUS EQUIPMENT THAT CAN DETECT FAIRY DUST. ALL THAT FOR ONLY ONE EPISODE?!! HOW COME Y'ALL MAKE A CHARACTER WITH SUCH HIGH POTENTIAL AND NEVER BRING HER BACK AGAIN??? I DEMAND TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HER!
she could've been a rival to crocker, back in the og show days, or even an ally. i would rather have them as fairy hunters duo than whatever the fuck they tried to do with the L.O.S.E.R.S. but of course, i believe she has enough potential to be a stand-alone antagonist, maybe even a major, or recurring one, if properly written.
anyway, please ANW writers, bring back this wasted queen and let her shine for at least one or two episodes.

When New Wish first came out I could easily tell the difference between people who were actively in the Fairly Oddparents fandom vs people who last watched the show when they were 12 by there first reaction to Hazel.
People who didn’t keep up with the show says that Timmy was an integral part of the show while people who kept up with the show were soooo fucking tired of Timmy and loves Hazel bc she’s a great change of pace and a great main character lmao.

130 Reasons Why I'm Fairy Trash
💛 Yellow Train Arc
(July 2016 - Ongoing)
“Those aren’t El Rules.” “They are the rules of social Fairy etiquette. And thus, I am bound to uphold them as a graceful swan protects her eggs.” “Well, I wish you weren’t.” “It does not work that way, child. You can wish for your desires until your heart overflows like a piñata of dreams, but you cannot force me to deviate from the honor code I ascribe to. I simply wouldn’t be me.”
Drama, Fluff, & Angst
Prompts related to Remy and Juandissimo
Summary
Juandissimo (a fairy godparent with a string of deaths and emotional damage attached to his name) waited 12 years for the latest Buxaplenty heir to tip into misery. Can you blame him for getting so attached to the little brat, he'd do anything - even defy El Rules themselves - to make him smile? Remy is a boy without a single friend. What- Did you expect him NOT to fall in with the chaotic duo who seem more interested in him than the Buxaplenty fortune? They could talk forever about those memories that ended up back in his head... ... No ulterior motives involved, I'm sure.

Highlights of this arc:
- Juandissimo comes down with the Fairy Flu. Not sure who else to turn to, Remy seeks Timmy in the middle of the night. - After Remy's mother (pregnant with him at the time) discovers magic, Juandissimo is tasked to watch over her until her memories can be erased. Yeah, so far she sucks. - Juandissimo defies Da Rules and returns Remy's magical memories. Consequences? Let them fall where they may. - What did Remy do with his rule-free fairyversary muffin anyway? - When Timmy is accused of murdering the Head Pixie, Remy and Juandissimo engage in detective work to prove his innocence. Nobody dies, but try telling that to creatures who communicate with pheromones. - Remy faces down magical enemies on a train. Eat your heart out, railroad king. - A person of questionable motives gets their grubby hands on Remy's yoo-doo doll. Yeah, I think we can all see where this is going.

Thoughts on Doomsparkle 💖🟦 and Perigold? 🟣🦋
Idk I think feel fine about those ships
Considering Goldie only appeared on one episode (that I watched superficially). She seems nice but I think that my love for Foop may have gotten in the way of really liking her (even though he was almost trying to kill Poof for a kiss from her).
I didn't saw a lot of people talking about Perigold too, but they seem to have things in common and like eachother company, they could be really cute together!
Now for Doomsparkle, kinda gives me partners in crime vibes? Personally I only saw some Sammy moments too, but I never saw him talking about Foop putting the blame on him.
I didn't saw a lot of Sammy and Foop interacting too but the partners in crime trope? Yeah I'm into that shit

I have a WHOLE way to make Chloe WORK. Not only give HER Sparky as her own fairy dog(take away his speech ability or make him more like an emotional support pet) and give her her own godparent, who is...Wanda and Blonda's younger brother! Yes I have the Fairywinkle girls a brother because I just see Wanda doting on a younger brother(and give insight into how some fairies had kids after the Baby Ban was in place, nobody was gonna mess with Big Daddy Fairywinkle so he and his wife had one more kid, still in secret though, didn't want any enemies coming after them). Also I wanted to have somebody be in line to take over for Big Daddy and while Wanda is fully capable and definitely Big Daddy's first choice, she wanted to be a Godparent more and no having hers and Blonda's brother be the one to take over is NOT some old school patriarchal line bull crud, just he was the next best choice in Big Daddy's eyes. But of course their dad isn't retiring anytime soon so Wanda and Blonda's brother, who I've named Landon(let's just say it's a family name) wanted to try Godparenting. So he goes through the courses on his off time from the family business and right when his license is finalized he's cleared to be a godparent to the kid who needs one asap, and wouldn't you know it but it's Chloe Carmichael. So he pops in, introductions are done, and he pulls out a Godfather worthy offer for Chloe that for as long as she needs him, he will grant her every wish and need. She agrees, he becomes her pet Chameleon(I see her having a giant reptile enclosure in her room, perfect for her new dusty pink pet chameleon she won at a library event) and he not only gets to show off what a great father figure he can be, but also see his favorite sister, favorite brother in law(he was the only family member at Cosmo and Wanda's wedding), nephew, and god nephew(who he definitely protects from bullies and Crocker because nobody messes with a Fairywinkle godchild, even if he's not his). Chloe and Landon really hit it off like how Timmy and his fairies did and this just brings everyone together as one big family. Hope you enjoyed how I'd give Chloe and Timmy the proper love Season 10 could have had.
Ngl, I think Chloe was done dirty in the show
She should've had her own fairy godparent then share with Timmy. Plus she was introduced when the show was dying and was used as an attempt to revive it.
I want a Chloe redemption, give her what she deserves.
agree! like, her introduction was awful and actually truly failed to introduce her character sincerely or accurately it was so baffling. i watched season 10 twice, first in reverse order then in proper order and it was actually absolutely wild how absolutely nothing in her introduction episode was really that indicative of her character??? it doesn't truly capture any of chloe's quirks and complexities, or even really why she would need godparents, and barely anything in the episode actually carries into any episode beyond that besides, like, the turners being rich for the rest of the season? which is not a decision i liked, and it really only served as a half-hearted reason for the carmichaels to hate the turners inexplicably, but they really didn't need to be rich for that. the turners being rich could have been interesting if they actually brought back remy, though, since the turners literally bought the country club that remy's parents owned. whatever.
i mean, i think i understand what they were trying to do - setting timmy up as being jealous and frustrated with her and then forcing him to have to try being cordial, to force them to have to work in tandem, makes sense as a narrative and stakes. and revealing that she isn't actually as perfect as he initially believes her to be also narratively makes sense! but sadly the execution of these ideas is very disjointed and shallow. not to mention the way they tried to explicitly spell out its themes was extremely forced. it's kind of a retread of both imaginary gary (the episode) and the boy who would be queen in those aspects, but lacking cohesion. it feels like maybe a first draft that wasn't revised nearly enough, or something. maybe it was! maybe they hadn't truly figured out what they really wanted to do and by the time they did it was too late. i dunno, but whatever it was, the end result is the same: a lot of people barely make an effort to understand chloe as a character and instead parrot whatever reviewers said about her intro a decade ago. and i get it, i'm not innocent of that either, i did the same thing years ago. but then i decided i wanted to come to my own conclusions. and i ended up loving chloe's character, she would have been a great addition to the series if she just came in at a better time. she was a great foil for timmy! and their chemistry as friends was actually great!
and... to that second point... i guess i think you're objectively right, a lot of viewers would likely have an easier time accepting chloe if she had been introduced with her OWN fairies, separate from cosmo and wanda, while just coincidentally becoming friends with timmy... or even being the protagonist of a sequel would have been less controversial... but i also kind of disagree. the fact they were forced to share cosmo and wanda was actually one of the more interesting aspects of the season to me, even if the actual reasoning behind it was dog water. but i really liked the dynamic that formed as a result. this sort of allegorical stepsibling, blended family dynamic. i like the way that cosmo and wanda specifically both represented different attributes and values they needed in their lives! i like what this specific set-up added, even if i find the execution of most of its episode ideas to be um. well. season 10. i honestly think a better way to introduce chloe and incorporate these dynamics i found so interesting would have probably been to make them actual, literal stepsiblings and not just allegorical fairy god-stepsiblings. not sure who would have been into that besides me, though.
sighs loudly. maybe someday ill rewrite season 10 or something. i have a lot of story ideas for chloe.

I just discovered that Trixie is apparently in the final battle of "The Big Super Hero Wish".
Well... She is sort of there. She keeps disappearing and reappearing, and never does anything. Here is a picture of her from the episode itself
Tumblr media
I wonder if it's just a mistake, or maybe something that was suppose to be there in early draft. Anyhow she is partially there and now you know

I'm going to get some flack for this but—despite enjoying Fairly Odd Parents: A New Wish quite a lot, I find Timmy Turner was the more compelling protagonist.
Don't get me wrong, Hazel is a fantastic and lovable addition to the show, but I find a lot of her shenanigans aren't as fun or snappy as Timmy's.
I don't really see the reason why Hazel of all people needs fairies. Her brother is off at college but he visits and still clearly loves and cares about her. Her parents get busy from time to time but they're there when it matters and they also love her very much. Her mother is probably the busiest of the two, but she still makes time for her daughter.
The catalyst of the pilot is Hazel running away to see her brother because she wasn't handling the move right away, but very quickly after all this she is able to make friends and maintain an upbeat attitude.
I don't think Hazel needs to be soul crushingly miserable for the show to work, but maybe a spare line here or there about how Fairly World/Da Rules went through a MASSIVE overhaul after a certain, infamous, pink-hatted god-child shook things up could've been nice (Jorgen mentioning that the world has improved since Timmy was a kid, so the qualifications for misery have been loosened?).
It might be the childhood nostalgia talking, but I liked Timmy as a character. He was a ten year old boy who made wacky and wild decisions, whose character only got ruined from the show running too long. If Timmy had gotten the FOP:NW treatment, I think we could've had so much potential for character growth and continuity. (I've made the executive decision not to count seasons 9 and 10 as canon because everything up to that point felt OG!FOP to me).
I see posts saying that Timmy's problems were external while Hazel's are internal, but despite her supposed internal struggles, Hazel is very emotionally mature. Again, I don't think she needs to be MISERABLE and EXTREMELY insecure, but her life pre-fairies doesn't seem that different than her supposed life without. Even without Cosmo and Wanda, I'm sure she would've been able to befriend her classmates, eventually get through to Dev, and find happiness in her life.
I guess my fondness of Timmy is that his fairies were his family. Cosmo and Wanda were like his adopted parents. Poof/Peri was his brother. He had no one else. And I guess I wish I could've gotten a quality ending for him. I need closure! I wanna know how he's doing in FOP:NW. I want to see that he's happy and thriving (and maybe a reunion between him and his family).
Timmy, for all his childishness, selfishness, and pettiness, was a good kid at heart. He was ten years old for crying out loud! Ten year olds tend to be immature lil' kids. I excuse some of his wilder wishes. All he really wanted was acceptance and love and he cared for his Fairy God Parents so, so much. Cosmo and Wanda have a HALL OF TIMMY in their house, for crying out loud!
Hazel is a good protagonist and I'm glad she's in the show, but Timmy holds a special place in my heart. In my heart of hearts, the HALL OF TIMMY still exists somewhere in C+W's house/appartment and he will forever be their son.

Every single time Foop/Irep has ever interacted with and/or mentioned his parents
(OG FOP only because he hasn't talked about them once in A New Wish. That might change in season 2 if they decide to include the antifairies more. I love this family and their non-existent relationship ♥️)
I go into quite a bit of detail here so I'll put the rest under the cut!
1. Anti Poof (Season 7, episode 1)
This was the only episode his parents showed up on screen with him. But it's important to note how Anti Wanda and Anti Cosmo react to his existence in the first place. They're excited!
They both want this child! Anti Cosmo starts the episode bemoaning the fact that there isn't an anti-poof and that he wants equality for antifairies. (Poof/Peri has existed for an entire season at this point.)
I'm assuming it's just the case of antifairy pregnancy possibly being longer than fairy pregnancy and the fact Poof/Peri was made through a magic wish unlike Foop/Irep that they weren't born around the same time, but who knows how any of that even works. But regardless of that, his parents are both overjoyed when Foop/Irep is born--Anti Wanda's love for her son is out of the question, and Anti Cosmo only gets mad at his son once Foop/Irep goes out and ruins anti fairy world, not in any other instance does Anti Cosmo act mean to Foop/Irep, even when he gets zapped twice by him, AC merely reprimands Foop/Irep by telling him that he needs a nap.
Tumblr media
Gotta love the ending where his parents get him a cake and want to break him out of jail. Baby's first jail time!
Tumblr media
Irep/Foop's second appearance Playdate of Doom (Season 7, Episode 22) doesn't have any mention to his parents, sadly. And oddly enough, this goes both ways with his parents. Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda appear in Balance of Flour (season 7, episode 29), which was their last and final on screen appearance in the original show, and they dont mention their son at all. It's noticably weird because Poof/Peri was there the entire time. Despite his parents disappearing off screen, the start of Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda getting mentioned does start the next season after.
2. Love Triangle (season 8, episode 1)
Tumblr media
(I'm going to just refer to Irep and Peri as their current names from now on instead of using both because it gets tedious.)
Irep's Kelly Clarkson lunchbox aside--in this scene he states that his Mother packed Anti Venom in his lunch as well as his chicken nuggets. I like to think this means Anti Wanda packs his school lunch regularly because that's cute.
These constant mentions of his parents from here on out are notable because it means that even though they don't show up, heck, they don't even show up in the episode Spellmentary School is introduced despite Cosmo and Wanda being there and that being the perfect opportunity to use Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda, it's being implied and shown that Irep is still in the care and custody of his mother and father.
Despite showing up in season 9 by himself, Irep does not mention either of his parents again after the first episode of season 8, but it's still shown that he lives with his parents in their castle.
(image fromThe Terrible Twosome, Season 9, Episode 6)
Tumblr media
3.Return of the L.O.S.E.R.S. (Season 10, Episode 7)
Tumblr media
Irep starts mentioning his parents again starting in season 10. In this scene he states that he's in timeout for now because he put spiders in his father's food. If I wanted to get nitpicky about this, Love Triangle implies antifairies actually eat spiders and don't seem to mind.
Irep continues to mention his parents in a few season 10 episodes after this.
4. Blue Angel (season 10, episode 13)
Tumblr media
Irep mentions that he took his rich father's credit card and used it to buy a bunch of cars to destroy the environment. I don't doubt Anti Cosmo has a ton of money considering he's the leader of the antifairies, but there's no way he actually gave Irep that card willingly lol. Outside of that the Chloe and Irep interaction in this was nice, the only part of the episode I really liked.
Irep continues to show up in season 10 after this episode and does not mention his parents in any other appearances outside of his last one. Which is episode 35...
5.Certifiable Super Sitter (season 10, episode 35)
Tumblr media
Certifiable Super Sitter is that one episode with the Vicky chainsaw image that people keep ragging on because it breaks every established rule. Peri doesn't show up at all for this entire season until this episode. The in-universe reason is because he was at school the entire time, the writing reason being because of too many characters. Despite this, Irep shows up more often than his own counterpart.
Irep states the reason he came over is because "his parents left without leaving him a forwarding address again."
Tumblr media
Again? What does he mean by again? He's literally been living in Anti-Cosmo's Castle the entire time. These screenshots are from the exact same season. And there has been nothing to imply that Anti Wanda and Anti Cosmo even moved out of the castle in the first place. The castle in literally still in Anti-Cosmo's name. Even after they stopped appearing, Irep's mentions of them implied that they all still lived in Anti-Cosmo's Castle. How else would Irep be getting his lunches packed by his mother, how else would Irep have gotten in trouble for putting spiders in his father's pasghetti?
Anti Wanda attached herself to her son as soon as he was born and called him "Sweetie." (Anti Poof) Anti Cosmo literally cried over not being able to have a godchild. (The Fairly Oddlympics) I don't think they would purposely do that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If Irep never mentioned his parents outside of Anti Poof, then I guess that could be a way to explain their absence? But it just doesn't make sense. He kept bringing them up. His parents were in his life. Like I'd even take the explanation of 'Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda had an offscreen 3 season side plot where they get hunted down' or something crazy like that. What happened???

Do you think Dev and Hazel's dynamic is supposed to mirror Chloe and Timmy's but executed better?
Yeah, i think that's the case because i have seen plenty of people say that Hazel is ¨like Chloe but better executed¨.
To explain in short, Hazel is usually good natured and her wishes are often about helping people she cares about. For example, todays segment A episode was a wish for her parents' anniversary. In contrast Dev's wishes tend to be more selfish (from what we have seen so far) and he doesn't care about breaking some rules until he gets what he wants. He has a very awful father who neglects him constanly and is terrible to him. In this case Dev would be like a more extreme version of Timmy Turner.
I believe the writers saw the concept from FOP Season 10 and decided to execute it in a way that made sense in this series.
