A gift for my mother, who is very into genealogy. A few years ago she found out we’re related to women in the Salem Witch Trials. In the top left corner is the year that Ann, the name in the same corner, was accused of witchcraft. Elizabeth Proctor was her granddaughter, and sister to my great great etc etc grandmother. The names around the edges are the line through which my mom and I are related. I’ve obscured the more recent names on the right side but it goes all the way from Ann to my mom and then me. 🧙🏻‍♀️

The pattern itself was also so fun to stitch, those fonts are so neat. I loved stitching this.

I’ve been teaching myself how to work Sardinian Knot Stitch over the past month or so ... and am quite pleased with this little mug mat worked on 18 count Floba cloth using DMC Perle 5.
