Things I have accomplished in final fantasy fourteen today:

- after experiencing the initial shock of "oh no apparently there are 8 people trials and there is no npc support for these" and wallowing in misery for a moment i bravely powered through a whole three trials (that stupid moogle king, leviathan and ramuh) (dramatic i know)

- i finally participated in the black shroud odin battle for the first time ever and also died 4 times. Sorry and thank you to the poor folks who kept picking my dead body up only for me to eat shit again literal seconds later. at no point did i understand what was going on

I'm gonna complain again about ffxiv not having a major/apparent ongoing antagonist or antagonistic force anymore (but i have reasonable hopes for 7.X) but tbh what i really want is some new big prolonged conflict against some kind of organized force. I was tired of fighting garleans and the garlean enemy aesthetic but unfortunately i'm a big sucker for fantasy war stories and i want more of that. It would've been fun of that's were the void storyline led.

Glamtober 25th- Borrowed Clothes

technically less "borrowed clothes" and more "borrowed god", but same difference. in our cannon the wol ended up lugging zantetsuken around after the incident in the shroud, and eventually the two ended up getting their peanut butter in each other's chocolate a la [STORMBLOOD SPOILERS REDACTED]. he usually just uses the sword by itself, because unless he goes full primal it's way too big to use one-handed.

The Elder Primal returns to haunt the Black Shroud

After weeks of farming Odin fate, I finally got everything you can get with Odin's mantles (yes, even that cursed barding that gives your chcobo an extra pair of limbs)

I'll forever be grateful to that one person that gave me an invite to the hunt and special fate tracking discord server

so we found Odin and did not manage to kill him, but, the weather effect of the area was SUPER cool and really creepy

Taking advantage of the Odin lighting.✨✨ I wasn’t at the appropriate level to take him on so I’m glad I was in a settlement when the weather changed.😅 (Totally wasn’t lowkey terrified of stumbling across him by accident.)
