I'd say the FFTA2 postgame dungeons were less about making classes obsolete and more about prioritizing defense over offense. The turn order was ambushed so that the enemy gets almost 2-3 rounds to launch everything at once before you can fight back. You had to not only prepare a survival plan but still hit the enemy faster than they could recover.

This made me reconsider what gear i should use for elemental protection, status protection, elemental advantages etc. I love feeling how important these decisions mattered more here in comparison to the midsection of the game.

Also a Blood Price Red Summoner is handy.

FFTA is such a great game but I always hate the endgame because 3 laws at once is sooooo tedious. I love FFT but the permadeath is too hxc for me. FFTA2 is decent but Parivir is just too OP... Do you also wish we could take the pros of all three games and roll it into a game with none of the cons

I don't agree with all your criticisms but I do really wish Squeenix had kept iterating on the FFT series because I feel like they could have made something even better than the three we already have if they kept trying. For me my criticisms are more like:

FFT has by far the best narrative but mechanically feels a lot clunkier than the later installments

FFTA streamlined the gameplay a lot but the law system is more annoying than it is interesting

FFTA2 feels the best mechanically but the story is way weaker

Also both FFTA and FFTA2 probably could have afforded to be a little more difficult or at least have enemies that scale with the levels of your party because if you're addicted to doing sidequests a lot of those games become way too easy

been playing FFTA again because once every 3-5 years I go through Ivalice fixating so have a Marche! Every FFT/TA/A2 file I have features the lead character/opinion leader becoming a dual wielder.

made w ballpoint pen and coloured pencil // 2hrs

I'm not used to how these pencils blend (they are very dry???) and the lack of warm brown shades is more than a little frustrating but I like 'em nonetheless (because they did not cost a limb and a half)

Another Sylvanian Family/Calico Critters set: Bangaa Bishop, Viera Elementalist, Nu Mou Hermetic (Ezel Berbier), and Moogle Gunner from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance!

These took absolutely forever to put together. Their clothes are layered and removable with fully painted bodies underneath and most of the added body parts such as ears and tails are posable.

These will probably be the last custom dolls I do for a bit. They were a huge undertaking!
