HISTORY — Kassim was the bastard child of Muna Amri, a powerful Sorcerer working for the Grimleal. Despite being her son, she rarely acknowledged his existence, only doing so if she needed something from him. Unlike his mother, his “father” took on the role of caring for him in spite of him not being their biological son. Kassim became extremely close with them during this time, spending every moment he could with them. Eventually, growing sick of being manipulated and hoping for a better life for their son, Salem escaped Plegia with him. Ending up finding a place to call home in a small Feroxi village, Salem started working as an apothecary and Kassim helped sell his medicines to the local villagers. With his natural charm and skill with chatting people up, he was quite the talented peddler. As Kassim grew older, he wished more and more to travel the world and see all of it’s wonders. Upon turning 20, he set out to start traveling the world. Before leaving, Salem gifted him his mask, telling him to wear it always so he will be safe from the dangers around him.

Currently, Kassim is traveling by himself throughout Ylisse and Rosalm. He’s become rather well-known throughout both continents as the “Masked Merchant”. He is also hopes to find his half-sister during his travels.

PERSONALITY — Always wearing a smile. Brotherly. Friendly. Flirtatious. Playful. Extremely Charming. Good at manipulating people, but rarely does so. Talkative. Can be serious when he needs to be. Prefers to keep the mood light. Compassionate. Laid-back. Calming Presence. Rarely gets angry. Always willing to forgive.
