i love to believe that after leo and takumi got married, they redesigned their outfits to be inspired on each other's home countries, so takumi wears more hard-shelled armour, and leo wears more loose and soft regalia. i love them to bits.

honestly I love that queen mikoto foresaw her ENTIRELY PREVENTABLE death via magic or something, took NO steps to prevent it, and also told yukimura "hey btw when I die give my kid the cool sword hidden in the statue. yeah it'll be revealed when I blow up. mhm cool thanks okay I'll just go back to waiting for my eventual demise via exploding sword. thanks." and that's it! that's all she does!!! it's fucking great!!!! I love this game!!!

Been playing through Fire Emblem: Fates and it's, like, every session I find something that makes me go, "That's so stupid."

For some reason I keep playing. I can't think of one reason why I should be playing this over any other tactical RPG, yet I keep going. What dark magic is imbued in this game that I keep coming back to it?

Anyway, this post brought to you by the fact that I just spent way too long trying to recruit Shiro before giving up and letting him die. Then I looked it up and found out you basically need an item to summon him to a completely different part of the map, otherwise his AI always runs into danger before any of your units can actually get to him. I refuse to reload and try again anymore, he doesn't deserve to be in my army.

Maybe be a better dad, Ryoma.
