Some Cats headcanons I have!

• Quaxo and Misto are two different cats. They're twins and Tugger being the Himbo he is, doesn't clock into this fact for the longest time. He is very confused why one moment "Misto" hates his guts and in the next is very receptive to his flirting and even teases him back.

• Both Quaxo and Mistofelees are Bustopher's kittens.

• Demeter and Bombalurina are Jellylorum's daughters.

• Macavity has two daughters. Jemima through Demeter and Electra through Bomba. (@jellylorum-thecampcounslercat has this hcn as well and I couldn't have agreed more when I saw it on her blog).

• Etcetera was found by the tribe abandoned in the streets and Jenny took it upon herself to raise the kitten.

• Mute!Victoria. Just this. No need to say more.

• Plato is Asparagus Jr.'s son, and he never misses a chance to embarrass Plato in front of Victoria (either intentionally or not).

• Victoria is super feminine, delicate and pastel-y but she's impulsive and kind of a little shit. That's why her, Jerrie and Teazer get along so well.

• Both Plato and Victoria are Bi and they Bi panick together as a couple.

• Electra is a great listener and knows everybody's secrets. You want to know anything, you know that she knows. But she only opens her wise mouth when truly necessary.

• Skimbleshanks has no kittens of his own, so he has a huge soft spot for the Toms and lets them play in the express's carrier carriage whenever it's not in activity.

• Cassandra is a suave goddess and a killer business woman and one of those people that don't need to put effort in how good they look, they just look flawless as soon as they wake up.

• Munkustrap receives gifts from nearly all kittens on father's day every year. Because yes, he deserves it.

• Jemima and Electra have an inkling of Macavity's magic. Jemima can feel other people's feelings on herself like a mirror, while Electra has occasional visions and premonitions. Both of them can see Auras.

• Okay but Alonzo x Electra (Alectra?) anyone?

• On the same note Bombalurina x Cassandra because come on you guuuuys. Two beautiful Queens. Alone. No Tom good enough to hold their incredible power. They might as well help each other and become invincible lesbian moms.

• Coritopat and Tantomile are also magical cats. They're telepaths.

• Coricopat has a crush on Exotica and can't talk straight when around her. He stumbles into his words so bad that at some point he entertained the idea of having Tantomile tell him what to say telepathically so he doesn't look so stupid.

in general, here I had just terrible troubles with the choice of whether there would be a hetero couple or not, so what about Plato, Etcetera and Electra, the children of Jellilorium and Gus. But it so happened that their couple in the usual sense broke up, and they remained as good friends. And these two characters in general have a good warm relationship here but they're with other cats.

Rumpleteazer and Mungojerrie children of Skimblehanks(Maybe Jenny too, but I'm not sure exactly xd) and Tumblebrutus is adopted son of Gus (One of my old HCs, ok)

By the way, Demeter in this AU is a journalist and in general such a stern girl. After her unhealthy relationship with the Macaviti, she is more picky about her circle of friends. Munkustrap Here he works in the library, as for me this kind of work in a quiet place is to his liking. although earlier I said that Demeter is stern, but not to Munk.

As in one post I had that Tugger from Kemerovo. Likewise, Munkustrapa and Demeter had a relationship and Jemima too xd

Tumblebrutus and Jemima are childhood friends.

But they don't see each other so often, after Jemima's family moved to Moscow for Mom's work. A tumblebrutus from the moment of adoption in St. Petersburg.

But in the summer they regularly spend tusias with each other and other friends from their group.

Bombalurina x Cassandra

They are both members of the Tugger rock band.

Bomba is also a bit lazy about going to rehearsals here, as in metal AU, but the difference is that now Cassandra, with her caustic supervision, does not allow Bomba to disrupt rehearsals. Because if this happens, Tugger begins to grumble and swear, and he already manages to infuriate Cassandra, she doesn't want it to get worse xd

Coricopat x Mistoffelees

This is a completely harsh and not deliberate decision. @mangomurmurr Just a little considering the HC of this person

That Mistoffelees is an amateur programmer and works in a cafe as a barista trainee near the library where Munkustrap works. But Munkoffeles is platonic here, but it's just that if Coricopat is a homebody here, fond of programming and all sorts of mineral stones and mysticism and fantasy in general. That they would have met in some programming courses, but Misto would have been only in the first, which is free. Not that he is poor for the next, his swindling nature does not allow him to honestly pay for the next.

later they exchange a couple of phrases in the cafe where the misto works and later begin to communicate more. Cori would put Misto on board games about magic and so on. And their meetings would take place imino playing a board game with each other хд

Jellicle Kittens Go to School

As a surprise for Munkustrap’s birthday, the Jellicles have sent him and Demeter off on a weeklong holiday. In Munk’s absence, everyone must work together to keep the kittens alive and happy. Bustopher Jones has come up with the (brilliant?) idea of School. His reasoning is, the various School tasks will keep the kittens occupied for hours at a time, and by the end of school hours they’ll be so exhausted they’ll fall asleep until supper.

Bustopher Jones. Headmaster. (Doesn’t do much of anything except dole out tasks and criticize and provide foodstuffs.)

Alonzo and Gus. Language and Literature. (Gus reciting passages from plays at them, Alonzo making up a rhyme for them to memorize over the course of the week.)

Mistoffelees. Maths. (Using treats to teach them counting, but mainly they just sit around eating the treats whilst he entertains them with a magic show.)

Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer. Recreation. (Chaos.)

Coricopat and Tantomile. History. (No specific era. Just spouting random facts they have in their heads from all across Time and Space. Often forget to speak out loud. Turns into naptime/playtime.)

Rum Tum Tugger. Aerobics. (Chaos, Tumble taking over and turning it into Gymnastics/Tumbling, kittens attempting movements they can’t do, bonked heads, almost-injuries.)

Plato and Admetus. Geography. (They have no clue, and just show pictures from various books they borrowed from their humans. The kittens learn things like The Earth Looks Like an Egg and If You Heat Rocks in the Oven They Turn Into Candy.)

Bombalurina and Exotica. Arts and Crafts. (Mainly consists of them making beautiful paintings and the kits throwing glue and glitter at each other.)

Skimbleshanks. Engineering. (He tries to explain these complicated diagrams he’s drawn, but mainly the kits throw paper at each other and complain about being hungry.)

Jennyanydots and Jellylorum. Home Ec. (AKA They give the kittens lunch and everyone else grumbles and wonders why Jenny and Jelly are the favorite teachers.)

Cassandra. Stretching and Relaxation. (Supposed to lead up to naptime. Mostly consists of the kits [except Victoria and Tumble] complaining that they can’t do these stretches, erupts into chaos.)  

Expectation:

 “All right, my dears, have you all learnt the rules?”

“Yes, Teacher.”

“Very good. Let us Recite the Rules together.”

“Yes, Teacher.”

unpopular opinion: I was not a fan of Laurie’s portrayal of Misto in the 2019 movie. While it’s grown on me a little bit, and I do not blame Laurie whatsoever, I just really wish that we got a dancing Misto and some Conjuring Turns. (i love Laurie though)

least favorite thing about them: I don’t think I have a least favorite thing about Tugger? I really dislike Street Cat Tugger, if that counts?

random headcanon: When they first take in Hestia, Tugger’s absolutely terrified of screwing something up. While he absolutely wanted to take her in, it all happened so quickly that he and Mistoffelees were not prepared at all, so he’s just panicking and flying blind. He thanks the Everlasting for Jennyayndots and Exotica, because they pretty much stepped in whenever he and Mistoffelees weren’t sure about how to do something with Hestia.

unpopular opinion: Jason Derulo was a really good Tugger! I loved his interactions with everyone (when we got to see him), and I really wish he was a little more featured in the movie, especially during Mistoffelees’ song!
