started playing ff7 for the first time and im only 30ish minutes in. I know about the spoilers, hard not to, but this game got lots of themes already. We got

Eco-terrorism (the entire bombing run), How the elite control the impoverished by limiting choices they can make (scene on the train to sector 7), governments get the rural young to join the military by presenting it as heroism and celebrity. (Cloud and Tifa flashback)

needless to say, im keeping my eyes open for more.
