DCxDP or Marvel Prompt: Bleeding Out

A mission from Clockwork sends Danny to another dimension to prevent some kind of disaster that could result in the destruction of said dimension or potentially endangering the Ghost Zone. As a result Danny is able to meet a group of heroes (Justice League or Avengers).

These heroes test Danny, learn about him and learn to trust him. He's from another dimension not too different from theirs and from what they understand his powers are called "Ghost". They have no idea that Danny is a ghost.

So when Danny takes a hard hit in the field and is dumping green blood the team is frantic. Yes, they know Danny has a human form, they've run plenty of tests but they think they're one and the same. They don't understand that the ghost side can't die and that the ghost side keeps the human side alive.

They're frantic.

They're panicking.

Danny is bleeding out in the field, loosing more and more blood to the point where even those who could be considered Gods or are Gods are getting more and more concerned. They have no idea Danny will live.

But the fact that Danny just keeps making jokes about it isn't helping.

They're concerned.

He's confused and doesn't understand that they didn't understand his explanation of being a "Ghost" and the villains are just wondering how much harder they have to hit this kid before he stays down.

Not Your Time

As soon as Ardian was rushed into the hospital they took him straight to the operation room. The doctors and nurses worked hard on Ardian. While he was on the surgery table they lost him 3 times.

Each time they thought he was gone somehow his heart started to beep again. The doctors and nurses were shocked by how strong his heart would beat each time he came back. They continued to work on getting that bullet out of his chest. They didn't want to remove lung or anything.

During that time Ardian was in heaven. He knew it was heaven because it was all white and he seen Grandpa Jones and Arabella. As soon as he seen them Arabella ran and hugged him. Ardian was confused. Did he die?

"Hi Ardi. I missed you."

Bella remarked as soon she seen her big brother.

"Hey Bella. I miss you too."

Bella let him go and pulled his hand towards Grandpa Jones who was standing at the gates.

"Grandpa, why am I here?"

"This is what you have to look forward to if your heart stops beating again."

Ardian shook his head no still holding Bellas hand.

"I can't leave. I still have to propose to Haleigh. What bout Lito? What about Mom and Dad? What about Haleigh?"

Grandpa Jones watched as his grandson started to talk to himself.

"I can't die Grandpa. I can't. Please not now. What do I need to do?"

Ardian started to breathe heavy. He was confused and upset. It wasn't his time. He couldnt die. Not now.

"Calm down or your heart is going to give out again."

Grandpa Jones spoke up. Ardian wrapped his arms around Bella still staring around heaven and trying wrap his head around why was he in heaven?

"Its not your time yet. You still have a lot to accomplish with Haleigh and Carlito by your side. I know you going to make me proud."

Ardian felt tears pool his eyes as he continued to look at his little sister and Grandfather.

"Go head. Everybody is converned about you. We love you Ardian."

"I love y'all too."

The doctors finished taking the bullet out of Ardians chest and was now stiching his chest up. The doctor told another doctor to let the family know that Ardian is okay and they could go see him. Ardian was still groggy but he knew he was alive and felt grateful.
