Depends in the realities.
In SCP-0001, Massachusetts is/is not real. It’s an anomaly, and a collective one that affects both Foundation agents and mundane.
In the Lovecraft Universes (HPL-00[23-52]), Massachusetts is home to the collection of towns, counties and other places that hold dark, cosmic secrets, unusual cults, and phenomena that’ll put you in a mental institution. Recommend that you don’t use the Arkham Sanitarium, there’s something in the water.
In the Eventide Universe (EMC-001 [-b]), there are small towns that deal with some unusual phenomena. Any proof of this is from the Eventide Valley Media Center, later the Eventide Valley Restoration Agency (or E.R.A, for short) which mostly has documents and videos of what’s going on.
In ours…. frankly I don’t know. And I’m too afraid to ask.

These were back to back. What is going on in Massachusetts?

A Letter to the AMC Press Center--Feel Free to Use!
@ca-suffit
Link to contact the AMC Press Center:
Feel free to make changes to your own letter where you see fit:
Dear AMC Press Center, As a fan of what your creative team has done for the show Interview with the Vampire, I am disappointed in your decision to include Elisa Hansen (aka Maven of the Eventide) in your press events. What your creative team has done is provide an adaptation of a story that explores themes of race/racism and queer relationships and how these two things intersect that the original source material did not. As a result, you have opened this story up to people who otherwise have not been included in this type of media. It is for this reason that I am disappointed in your decision to invite Hansen to any of your events. Hansen has promoted negativity toward the show in ways that illustrate a lack of respect for what your creative team has set out to do and has made her space unwelcoming to the very audience whom this show appeals to and who, arguably, have been its strongest supporters. Additionally, Hansen herself has admitted that she has not entered any contests to be invited to any events. It seems unfair that she should get this privilege when other content creators have been more supportive of this version of the story being told. Again, considering how important this show is for your strongest supporters, this is a disappointment. I hope you will make better decisions in who you choose to give this kind of privilege and opportunity to in the future.

Not so much of stats, but just a general ramble of a mystery idea/campaign idea i have, mostly involving unreality and the Mandela Effect.
Essentially, I have an idea that certain mandela effect/collective false memories (such as the notorious Berenstain/Berenstein) are attributed from an alternate reality. How such ideas and false memories occur in this campaign is due to alternate realities dying off, either by its own apocolypse or an entity bringing it about. The dying reality attempts to merge with the one next it, like a cascade effect. From the remnants, several wake up in the new reality as if they awoke from a nightmare, taking over their alternate reality's body with mixed memories. Sometimes those who wake up no longer remember the previous alternate reality or even the end of it, but retain a few memories of it.
The alternate reality's differences are very minor, but can be noticible... such as berenstain/berenstein.
I had a thought of the campaign playing out as normal at first, maybe even have a few one shot mysteries not tied to it. But soon the hunters will experience the world-ending entity. They have no way of surviving its apocalypse, and have it play out as their demise... only to awake the next day. Was it a vision? A groundshog day effect? Everything seems the same, and the next day plays out normal. But then... lets say their favorite brand of cereal is named differently, or that a show they watch the characters are named something else. It has to be something that is noticable right away that cues them in that something is not right.
And thus, they start to figure out how to stop the entity from destroying more realities. How does it form? Why does it happen?
Maybe one day I will actually sit down and develope this as an actual full blown arc/campaign, but for now I shall toss it in here, for you all to hopefully get inspired.
Whst kind of spurred this thought process is that i've been diving deep into analog horror as of late. Just finished up the Eventide Media Center series via Archive.org, and now snuffling through the analog horror tv tropes page looking for more.

So Aidan Chick, the guy responsible for the creation of analog horror classics such as:
Channel 7
The Analog Archives
Eventide Media Center
just gave up on everything and deleted all of his content from youtube. Fortunately there are people who have reuploaded all these things. But damn. I dunno what to think about this guy. I'm sure there was pressure to keep a series going but lots of people loved the content and enjoyed watching it! Why would you just erase it all like it never existed? At least archive it or something.
Fuck, man.
He said he didn't want to do it anymore and I can respect that..but still..
